Sweet Amber

Tested Sweet Amber in store because I was intrigued by the assosociation of this with Alien and Alien Essence. It’s there, but I wouldn’t say get Sweet Amber if you want a replacement for an older Alien formula or Alien Essence! It’s not that similar, maybe 70-80% alike. As a standalone perfume, Sweet Amber is mostly a white floral dominant scent, with jasmine, tuberose and orange blossom easily noticeable, not that sweet and not that ambery, but rather vanillic and anise heavy once the juice has dried down. Absolutely gorgeous and distinctive compared to other white florals available on the market nowadays, but too soft/subtle to justify the 220 euros price for a bottle. From what I’ve seen in store, this collection (they had all of them on display) comes only in 100 ml bottles, so it’s the kind of situation where you go for a big bottle or don’t get anything... I like Sweet Amber a lot, (Alien fan here) but I wouldn’t buy this unless it’s on sale for a price that matches the performance. Which is average from my experience... Edit 08.05.25 Found on a discount site Sweet Amber for a quarter of the full retail price so I got a bottle.. In all honesty, it’s a beautiful white floral, whether it’s similar to Alien or not!!!

Wow! Jasmine, jasmine and more jasmine...This reminds me so much of Alien, the original Alien with an extra dose of amber and Vanilla...this one is a little bit more airy...ok it is less dense but the signature of Alien is there...woah...lovers of Alien essence absolute you need to try this...I must repeat...you NEED to try this...I will need a back up of this scent...it is THAT good to my Alien lover soul...

Holy jasmine. Must love Jasmin. A slightly warmer version of Molinard Jasmine EDP. The edges are a bit more rounded. Quite lovely but, must love jasmine. Very specific and bright. Adaptable to any season. The dry down is a smooth, spiced orange blossom/amber related to Mugler's Miroir de Majestes.

This fragrance really has Mugler's Alien vibe. If somebody would ask me what this scent is- I would definitely say that this is Alien. So, for lovers of Alien..here you go! 100 ml bottle of this one for the same money as 30 ml or 50 ml of Alien.
