Via Condotti Pour Homme

One of the prettiest fragrances marketed to men I’ve tried. Primarily a fruity rose, with an overall sort of barbershop feel without actually smelling much like anything else. I wouldn't call it a fougere though, this is more like a Victorian masculine rose, Penhaligons adjacent?

Nice fragrance from lancetti. It opens fruity, u can detect mandarin, peach; then benzoin, lilly of the valley and a soft base of vanilla and amber. Casual yet classy, it's a good scent for the price (almost 12-15€). To me via condotti reminds a bit Venezia uomo by Biagiotti: not the same smell, similar fruity-ambery vibe. Venezia uomo is far more superior in terms of substance and performance but via condotti is a good EDT. Personally i dont get the comparison between via condotti and azzaro acteur: the one from azzaro has a prominent note of rose with a touch of leather and i dont get this combo in the fragrance from lancetti. What makes this parfume interesting is a bit of that gentleman 's vibe, not so easy to find in a cheap product. So buy it only if the price is low. For spring and fall, for work or casual situations. I got a little rest of the first version of Lancetti Via Condotti. It ́s top notes are fruity (mandarin, fruity notes). The middle notes are flowery (rose, heliotrope, lily of the valley) and the base notes are heavy (vetyver, benzoin, vanilla and musk). Interesting combination for a masculin fragrance. The result is a tobacco like smell (subjective imagination). Definitely elegant and comparable to Savile Row by Richard James.

This is a very unique fragrance that opens up beautifully. It feels very fougere but its not yet it’s undeniably masculine and old school smelling yet classy and goes through stages developing nicely with florals and fruit but never losing its masculinity .

Is there anything else but musk in this disgusting juice? I have seen cheap drugstore fragrances that smelled much better than this. Truly revolting. I don't know whether it is still in production but if so, it should be stopped.

-Sweet, warm and spicy -Sandalwood and vanilla -vanilla gives a sweet opening. -I can see myself using this also as a woman -noticed I really like sandalwood scents maybe bc it’s earthy, sweet and warm at the same time
