Tresor L'Eau de Toilette

Today I came across the L'Eau version in a shop and tried it. I was completely unimpressed by the opening and didn't think too much of it. I even ignored it until I got home. As I bent down to take my shoes off, my arm was radiating a gorgeous smell that is still so hard to describe. There's something delicious and nostalgic at the same time, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I don't think it smells sour, I'm sniffing my childhood and a fragrance that somehow just fits. Maybe it's just a case of perfect chemistry, and maybe the hot weather also brings out the best in it, and maybe I enjoy it more because there is less powder than in the EDP. All I know is that I want it and that I would definitely stock up if I found out that it was being discontinued. If you stumble upon Tresor L'Eau de Toilette and decide to try it, my recommendation is to give it time before drawing any conclusion.

Nothing like the original Trésor... not even a shadow... Luckily I found, at the store, a hidden box of the old formula in eau déodorante concentration, a gem that captures every note from the original but in a breezy way. Will gladly be using it as a mist!

I have the leau de parfum. Why is this not listed?

I really like this one, since it must be one of my very few powdery scents . I usually don't like powdery perfumes so I don't collect them but here there heliotrope and peach mixed with the tonka create a very smooth and elegant trail, very powedery but also well blended and somewhat sweet. Absolutely nothing sour here ! I have a small bottle and I must say the bottle looks adorable . I don't get the negative comments, it's a very well made womanly perfume.

It smells like peach and apricot marmalade. It amazes me that being so different types of fruit, is very much like the central note of Kenzo "Jeu d Amour.The note of Kenzo is more powdery and creamy
