Aventure Jasmin de Karnak

Aventure was launched in 2013 and is part of The Voyage Collection, which brings together fragrances that portray Maître de Claude's olfactory journeys, different cultures, and their wonderful destinations. The product's full name is Aventure Jasmin de Karnak, whose last name pays homage to the Temple of Karnak, in Egypt. The Temple of Karnak is a site dedicated to the god Ammon-Ra and its name designates not only the main pavilion but also everything that remains in the huge complex of shrines and other buildings around it (the great Temple of Amon, other smaller temples, chapels, and the great sacred lake). Aventure brings, as a creative concept, a ride on the Nile River aboard a felucca (a traditional vessel that is still very popular with tourists in the region) under the hot Egyptian sun and inspired by the famous Egyptian jasmine from the Gharbiya region. The Aventure’s fragrance was created by perfumer Julien Rasquinet, who has already given life to successful fragrances for brands such as Amouage, Histoires de Parfums, Masque Milano, etc. It brings bergamot, grapefruit, peach, and pineapple as starting notes. In its body, notes of ylang-ylang, rose, gardenia, and jasmine Sambac. In the base, notes of amber, musk, and patchouli merge. From the moment it touches the skin, Aventure reveals a fruity-floral fragrance with a lot of presence. On me, the peach and pineapple stand out with such grandeur. The citrus notes just harmonize the accords and, yet, there's an initial burst of too much projection. Then, but without much delay, the floral body reveals the fragrance's striking personality and even though jasmine is the inspiring flower, on my skin the ylang-ylang is more present and pulls all the elegance of gardenia to its side. Over time, sandalwood brings a creamy effect and patchouli gives it a certain sweetness. Aventure Jasmin de Karnak is marketed as a unisex perfume but clearly has a feminine soul. It is not innovative, as it reminds us of dozens of other successful perfumes from the 80s, which have already been present in all wardrobes, as well as in all the portfolios of the most famous brands in the world fragrance market, since Giorgio Beverly Hills, passing through Elizabeth Taylor to Givenchy, for example. And just as happened 40 or 50 years ago, few were the men who had the courage to assume that they wore fragrances of this type. But, like the great pharaohs of Egypt, who also bathed in flowers, true fragrance lovers do not respect genres in perfumery, but the art as a whole. And this is one of the roots of Niche Perfumery and the creations of L’Arc Parfums. And I confess I have no problem wearing floral or feminine fragrances. Aventure is delicate yet strong, extremely striking, and made for those who dominate empires, not those who follow the Emperor.

Beautiful beautiful fragrance. Unknown brand for me but pretty well known and beloved smell 🙌🏻 The opening is so fresh and soft, fruity, flowery, tender... Absolutely feminine and extremely elegant. Inoffensive, intelligent, not screaming but whispering as if it would be whisper in the middle of theatre performance - you didn’t mean to but everybody heard 😃 The “real” notes are : Top: 🎈 Bergamot, Grapeftuit, Peach, Pineapple Heart: 🎈 Ylang Ylang, Rose, Gardenia, Jasmine Base: 🎈 Patchouli, Amber, Musk Simply gorgeous ❤️ P.S. Even having a “heavy” artillery in collection, most of the most popular and best of the best fragrances, sometimes you find yourself in an ordinary, unknown, hidden gems 💎 like this 🙏🏻 Good luck and be inspired 💋

A soft gentle white floral scent. Light innocent and feminine. Pleasant to wear and well balanced without individual notes being too dominant. I like it, a perfect perfume for young at heart girls and ladies.

This is a lovely floral and I wish I could wear it, but the strong gardenia middle note turns to Windex on my skin. Would highly recommend to those whose chemistries work with gardenia and jasmine!

هیچوقت از هیچکدوم از عطرهای ارک خوشم نیومده. اونچر جزمین هم به این لیست اضافه شد. ترکیبات سطح پائین و دم دستی با قیمتهای بالا. شروعی شبیه ادامس بادکنکی و شربت سینه. واقعا رنگ بوی این عطر صورتیه. شروعی فانتزی و عروسکی . نمایشی کم رنگ و لعاب از یلانگ و پرتقال پلاسیده. (پرتقال کهنه و پلاسیده بوی خاصی داره. گاز دار نیست.). بدون طراوت ادامه با فضای وایت فلورال و وانیل و کمی مشک که منو به یاد فضای الیین موگله میندازه. اما شیرینتر و گنگتر. اصلا عطر زیبائی نیست شاید برای دخترهای تینیجر که سبک و آهنگهای نیکی میناژ رو دنبال میکنند خوشایند باشه

Ylang is initially a very fruity green banana, along with the peach n the powder it becomes a little like candy, like burying you nose in a bag of pick n mix sweets at first, yet it isn't quite that childish. Very mild citrus & the crisp jasmine keep it fresh. Soft musky subtle, easy to like if not a big wow. Pretty, feels carefully balanced, curated to engage, like something a diplomat would wear, a pleasantry, polite grooming.

This one reminds me of Lancôme's signature sweet base of jasmine and vanilla, like in Hypnôse or La Vie Est Belle (and I agree with someone who mentions Chanel's Allure Sensuelle as another reference). The Lancôme accord is elevated by a rich white flower accord and the patchouli note (yes, I feel patchouli too). To my nose, basically, a Hypnôse with a niche twist.
