Fleur de Carotte

happy and bright scent, its smells very innocent. carrot is dominant here, but not a raw fresh cut carrot that somewhat green, its a scrumptious sweet carrot backed with other notes which blend rather well than what i expected, good job l'artisan!

It reads like a weird salad - and smells like a beautiful, floral, yet rooty iris scent ... carrot surpriiiiiise! Garden fresh, more flowery sweet than savoury, redolent of spring. Pretty femme, and absolutely charming - a little eccentric, for sure, but not at all as bizarre as the list of notes might suggest. The earthy, iris-like, carrot-juicy splash at the beginning is the best part, but its bright orange charm sadly fades too fast, and then the carrot flowers kick in more, making it a more conventional sweet-garden aura, though the earth is still there buried right in your pores if you're willing to snuffle hard to your wrist for it. Performance is a little weak, it's discontinued and hard to find. But it makes me smile. I chased it down because really, who could resist? "What are you wearing?" "Oh, just carrot-flower water with a bit of tarragon?" - it appealed to my (very well hidden) ditzy-hippie-gardener side. That tarragon worried me to read about, but don't worry, along with the carrot seed, the aromatic edge in this is just a dash of vaguely-spicy green rather than the harsher side of the leaf. Apricot can be sickening to me if over-sweet or fermented, but here it's just making things softer and rounder without cloying. Terrific fun, glad to have tried it, but won't go on a deep dive to chase rare bottles around the world. Still like it a whole lot. Charismatic carrots, these ones. Full of nose vitamins. Feels like it's good for you - a healthy, honest scent.

Fresh clean scent. When I got a dry down it takles me straight to airport and boarding. In my opinion its non intruisive scent for airports and airplane. To me on first plan goes Ginger in dry down.

The only bottle available I can find online is priced at 1999$ USD :'( I'm so sad... I want a carrot perfume. This one was promising. Unfortunately it's nowhere to be found.
