La Chasse aux Papillons

I ordered a small 5 ml decant after using a 1 ml sample in a flash. I'm very picky with tuberose and gardenia, so I was so surprised to fall in love with this. Still, I couldn't wear it every day - special occasions only. It's so romantic, that I prefer to wear it at night. Champagne, viognier, rose, or chamomile tea is the wearer's drink of choice. Oh, and absolutely a white dress, like cake 'n cuddles says. During the day, I can hardly take myself seriously enough wearing Papillons. The opening burst has a fruit candy note that reminds me of a scented doll I had as small child. That must be the linden blossom (?), but it goes away in a mere minute. I'm surprised that everyone decries the longevity. Have you ever tried to catch a butterfly? Or watch a butterfly? They flee... so quickly... Butterflies seem mythical for this reason. On my skin, the scent lasts 2.5 hours on the outside of my forearms (where there's hair to grab it) and while the sillage is soft after the opening, it's along the moderate side of soft. I certainly don't mind reapplying, because I enjoy the enchantment of the opening. At 3 hours I can still detect it, but the sillage is right next to my skin. Update: 8 hours later and my skin still smelled like La Chasse... it was as soft as possible, but my skin was obviously scented. This perfume is meant for spraying in hair and on clothing in addition to the usual spots. Touch up with one spray/dab later if you like. Combine this thorough application with the use of La Chasse... body milk and/or shower gel (available on ebay) and you're golden. *You* are the butterfly being chased. Please note, I'm not one to recommend bath and body products based on perfumes because I usually find them overpriced and redundant. I believe that La Chasse aux Papillons perfume and the corresponding bath and body products are all worth the price. Sadly, I can not afford to wear all these products the way I'd like to. Even if money was no object, I couldn't justify the purchase because spring in Ontario is so brief, and summers are too humid for me to wear tuberose (I'm picky). It just doesn't seem smart. I'm happy for now with my decant, though. Update: 3 sprays lasted a beautiful 6 hours on me last night, although it felt a bit strong for the first 20 minutes. :) p.s. Spray directly onto skin in close range, no more than an inch away. Do not do the "spray into the air and walk through". This may fix the bulk of the longevity issues. Update: I was wearing this perfume when I went to an outdoor concert... and discovered that someone I know has a crush on me. I didn't think he thought much of me... but he hugged me a certain way, stared at me from across the green, and the person he was with kept looking at me with curiosity and a certain kind of knowing. When he spoke to me, he inadvertently gushed, then seemed embarrassed... my heart went out to him. He is a very lovely man and I'm really flattered. Now, whenever I wear La Chasse, I'm reminded of how sweet and surprising people can be. (Although I wasn't wearing a white dress, I was wearing an ankle-length black pencil skirt and a white linen button up shirt over a white lace camisole, with the sleeves rolled up and top 3 buttons undone). ** I've been layering La Chasse with Demeter Linden blossom. It's utter beauty. My baby niece grabbed my arm and started tasting it. Luckily, she doesn't have teeth yet, lol!! Update: I finished 6 mls this summer easily - so I bought the 50 ml bottle. When I look at the new reviews above now - I'm so excited Lesley A loves this. I just knew it would suit her!

After having this for two years now, I can safely say that despite having tried many more scents since La Chasse Aux Papillons is still undefeatedly one of the Most Beautiful Perfumes out there. It meets all classical notions of beauty: ethereal tuberose, dainty fairy-light lime blossoms, non-indolic sunny jasmines, the character of this fragrance can recall history’s beloved pastoral fairytales, Daphnis et Chloe or the dance of the Korngold fairies in Midsummer Night’s Dream (1935). In essence, its an unashamedly sincere depiction of the flower-wearing Ophelia girl archetype. But i do have a gripe— it’s not really the perfume itself but to seek Only perfumes of the same Beautiful style because if all you have are similar smelling perfumes you could end up sick of it like I did. Overall this perfume is great! Just don’t overspray. Even soft perfumes can be overpowering if overdone Edit: After writing a review i relearned a lesson— longer does not mean better and short and to the point is good too! And as everything balance is key. UPDATE 2021: I may have said that but have you tried Prive by Ormonde Jayne? Wedding bouquet-worthy and the same price as La Chasse Aux Papillons! But especially DSH's Venus & Cupid-- which is a more dreamy Papillons, along with April Aromatics' Liquid Dreams, which is a more hypperreal Papillons and superior quality Lime Blossom perfume. And please try, which is now my favourite floral, Divine Gardens! I can't get enough of it! Divine Gardens is now my favourite floral of all time, along with 51 Essence by Roja Dove. I'm glad I didn't give up on florals or I would have never discovered such an evocative, deliciously dreamy garden thing! I ONCE again cannot tire of beautiful things. I suppose, the more evocative and viscerally physical in qualities the better!

I just dabbed on my last precious drop of my sample. Sad face. Happy face however, that I am right now blissfully surrounded by one of the most scrumptious, natural-yet-straight-from-fairyland, floral bouquets my nose has ever enjoyed. Mmmm. Honeyed, silky white petals, pollen, and if the sunshine on those magical, low-humidity, zero-haze, and everything is sparkling days, that pop up from time to time, had a scent... it's in there too. I know I'm offering no new info, but when a scent makes me this joyful, I like to talk about it. :) I am a linden lover, and in my opinion, the linden note does not stand out, yet it ensures that what is to me, a mostly tuberose perfume, stays polite, light and ethereal. This is just flowers. Nothing added, nothing synthetic.....nothing but petals. Simple, but done so beautifully. Exactly what I gravitate towards. I'm a sucker for compliments on my perfume. It's not why I wear perfume, but knowing I smell pleasant to others is a day brightener, and honestly ups my opinion of the fragrance. I wore this yesterday to the dentist, and when he was finished checking my teeth he thanked me for making his job easy with my already clean teeth, and "smelling amazing.". The hygienist chimed in in agreement, and I proceeded to blush, happily. He asked for the name and says he has plans to purchase it for his wife. I was planning on ordering a nice little decant due to the price, but when something is this good, I do think a full-bottle splurge might be in order.

I hear the intro to Vangelis' "Spiral" as I picture scores of butterflies fluttering about the tree blossoms. Pollen is shaking off the stamens, the whole scene verges on awe-inspiring chaos. Panning out, its a legion of butterflies: monarchs, swallowtails, admirals, whites, elfins. They are taking back their earth and the air is beaming with the fragrance of linden, green, sweet, tart, and ambrosial. The linden pageant is rendered thicker and sumptuous with the blooms of tuberose, the ones that overnight will be visited by an army of moths, hypnotized by their aroma and pearlescent white hue. Their night shift offers the same display, flooding the skies, silhouettes across the moon. We zoom into the feathery antennae of one of the moths, we realize it's almost like fish-bone, with intricate detail as we move in even closer. The smell of the flowers is in their DNA. Le Chasse aux Papillons is a brilliant pairing of linden blossom with white florals, one of the most direct florals I've had the courage to wear and in which to lavish. I feel that it pushes the nose to a new frontier for me, facing the initial discomfort from what at once seems overwhelming, even stifling, to what is near ecstatic. I can lean into the fantasy of the lepidoptera kingdom and imagine being viscerally drawn, much like them, to the flowers.

I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with this creation! I've always had a few "fantasy fragrances" in my mind that I wished to one day find (or even create if I had to), well this is one of them....I've found it after all these years! At first it's instant, realistic honeysuckle that blends into a smooth, light tuberose (the tuberose is just about identical to that of Alba Botanica's Midnight Tuberose if you're familiar; not heavy, intimidating or cloying). After about an hour I'm left with the tuberose on top of a bright linden. There's a bit of orange flower in there for the duration, too. No musks, no woods, no typical, heavy base notes. It's just sooo fresh and delightful and floral the entire time! I sprayed my skin 12 hours ago and I can still smell tuberose, but only up close. The sillage in general is not strong...one has to be close to detect it. It's been said before, but now I see that the best way to describe this scent is "sunny summer morning surrounded by flowers and dew". It's such a sweet fragrance, and I don't mean in terms of smell, but in personality. My new signature scent!

Starts off strongly, but silage is soft after an hour or so. And it is sweeter than I thought it would be, but the zesty citrus blossom balances it out beautifully. First I get a blast of orange blossom, honeyed, not indolic, followed by tart linden and lemon blooms. Then comes tuberose, but not the creamy, heavy lidded variety a la Fracas. This is a much more muted version, bubblegummy, slightly green, even innocent smelling, made fresh by the lemon and linden blossoms. Safe for work, this one! I always wonder what 'floral notes' means when they are indicated in the notes. Which ones, exactly? Apart from the tuberose, I detect jasmine after the first hour, but it's fleeting as it disappears soon after. A hint of still green tuberose, plus some other vague floralcy and linden blossom makes up the drydown, which last an amazing 10+ hours on my skin, and keeps fresh, breezy and softly sparking throughout (could this contain iso e super? If so it is a mere touch, or I would get a headache from this!) I can only describe this as a June morning in a bottle. Very charming. I love it!

The smell of carefree innocence. If I were inclined towards fluff, I might imagine this is what fairies smell like... but I'm an earthbound gardener and what I get is a cloud of honeyed blossom shot through with drifts of freshly-opened tuberose (that moment when only the very first tuberose bud in the cluster has opened up to the sun, but the others are still almost green) as well as orange blossom. Jasmine is floating around as well, creating the magic only perfume and memory provide when the scent of flowers which in nature exist in entirely different seasons are experienced at the same time. This perfume is the olfactory equivalent of an old-school Dutch painting, where all the flowers from across the seasonal spectrum are depicted in one impossible bouquet. On me it lasts for a couple of hours and that's perfect for me. I'm a perfume junkie who's always seeking a new olfactory rush, so perfumes which last all day end up being worn far less frequently than perfumes which allow fresh experience. distillation: bottled innocence an impossible bouquet like a Dutch painting

This is a lovely, light scent, which is discrete and light enough to wear to work without upsetting people, or just for fun. It can go from day to night, though it remains girly, like a white gauze dress twirling from a dance or a breeze. Although the tuberose is there, it is not heavy or old-lady-like, but rather like a spirit accompanying you on a stroll through an orange orchard. What people are describing as "linden" is actually the tuberose, though not macerating in the shade, rather this is the blossom opening up just a little into brightness and sunshine. The sillage reminds me of a fresh bouquet of lilac in the Spring--pleasant, but not too heady. What is best about this fragrance is that it is original and very unlike the modern commercial scents with their plasticky melon/cucumber bit, or the even worse slight burnt plastic impressions (think Jennifer Anniston; nice person; yucky fragrance). This EDT is a beauty and gives me much delight.

Neroli lovers know that this is a must have. Spring in a bottle, if you need to define it. La Chasse aux papillons evokes just this: A field full of herbs, flowers in bloom and orange trees blossoming, with a bunch of kids running with nets to catch butterflies. It's an image of serenity and joy, and this is what you feel when you are wearing La Chasse. I was instantly transported into this paradisiac fantasy land at the first opening notes: orange blossom with green herbs, linden blossom and pollens (watch out: this could be annoying if you suffer for allergy!), hay, a tiny bit of tuberose - very, very subdued - and luscious gardenia with a hint of honey in the end. A joyful, flowery composition that cheers up your day. The drydown is soft, smooth and sweet. The only downside is the lasting power... can't smell the frag after 2 hours. Does not matter, I am willing to re-apply! In anycase, this is FB worth!!

I fell in love with La Chasse aux Papillons when I blindly bought a shower gel. I remember opening the box and geting acquainted with gentle white floral scent. I new that a perfume was a must-have for me for I finally got my hands on one...I was a bit disappointed because I got a heavy load of tuberose (nothing agaist it just wasn't something I was expecting)...I waited for it to setlle but it was still there after good 30 minutes...I was ready to give up on this scent and even created an ebay listing...I went for a walk later that day and wind was blowing my hair in my face and I've noticed that beautiful getle white floral scent I fell in love with...I got my phone out and cancelled my ebay listing straight awaw...it was definitely a keeper. If tuberose scared you the first time round - give this scent another chance! The drydown is stunning and well worth the wait.

I first fell in love with the poetic name: La Chasse aux Papillons or 'The hunting of the butterflies.' I was overjoyed to discover that the perfume was equally as charming and romantic. On my skin, there's lots of sweet creamy tuberose and I appreciate how it is not overpowering. The perfume is somewhat lighter in the dry-down as some clean smelling jasmine emerges. There's quite a soft projection (2h) on me until it faded to a skin scent and that lasted for another 6 hours. La Chasse is the perfect fragrance for the warmer months as it's ethereal, pretty and especially suited to weddings or balmy summer evenings. Just gorgeous. UPDATE: I love tuberose but when it's too heady and intense I get headaches. It is lovely in La Chasse because the jasmine tempers the tuberose so that it always remains soft, subtle and is much easier for me to wear.

This has been my no brainer all occasion easy perfume for over a decade - still another 25-30% of the bottle left plus I seem to have acquired a rollerball of it, though I don’t carry it with me. I do have the lotion too but I rarely layer. So I don’t feel it is so super short lasting on me - I’d say average for the type of scent it is. Sillage seems ok too as I got asked what I’m wearing fairly often even as I only have the EDT strength (and don’t overspray). I personally like florals though and maybe performance varies on skin. It’s one of my most frequently used fragrances so I do rate it highly for me. Like I said it’s what I reach for when I am not feeling like making a decision. Not a statement scent either - but it’s been getting compliments and questions all this time especially from men.

I mostly love this. I just have to be in the right mood and it has to be warm outside. In my mind, my Holy Grail perfume is a beautiful soft scent that makes me feel like I am bathed in flowers in the warm sun, but with the ground still damp from yesterday's showers. I'm surrounded by honeysuckle, and close by is a gardenia bush, as well as some flowering trees. Next door there is a rose bush I get a whiff of now and then. La Chasse "should" be my HG, and sometimes it almost is. I love the flowers and the sweetness, but sometimes it gets a little too bright and sharp. It's like it needs to be in a little shade and damp to tone it down a notch. Maybe a bit of moss. But sometimes it is perfect, and I can really smell the sweet, wonderful honeysuckle without a hint of sharpness. Then it's true love!

A very pretty scent but sadly the longevity is poor. To be fair the notes in this are really renowned for their limited longevity. A lovely honeyed tuberose that stays bright because of the wonderful fresh linden blossom. There is sweetness from the orange blossom. A very well blended floral that is not heavy and cloying. I find florals can be tricky. I think the fresh dry linden blossom works it's magic and on me seems to dominate along with the tuberose and orange blossom. The linden blossom is the note that hangs in there to the end. I would say this is a very feminine and almost a timeless scent. It's high summer in a bottle. I don't think I could imagine many women disliking this scent. A safe choice if choosing a scent for a lady.

This is the first Slightly warm day in spring in the uk hence time for late spring/summer scents.On first spray I get mostly Jasmine and orange blossom.Then the tuberose blooms along with the other flowers.I can't detect any linden blossom at all.I'm now predominantly smelling rubbery tuberose.The tuberose fades in the drydown which is a delicious melange of white flowers. I recollect wearing this on hot days last year when this perfume smelt sweetly of Linden that bloomed in the warmth of a sunny day.I can only surmise that this scent needs warmth to show its true character. This is a truly capricious perfume that is lovely all year round if you love Tuberose.If linden is your true love wear La Chasse aux papillon on hot days only.

Okay so here it is......this is beautiful, delicate and brings back memories of my youth....of my favorite scent of violets. The tuberose is noticeable, but not overpowering, and very well blended with the other florals. It is romantic and fresh, and screams warm Spring or Summer day to me. I will be purchasing a full bottle as my birthday gift to myself this Spring. I compared this to the extreme version, but I felt the extreme was too airy and dry and detracted from the flowers in my opinion, but still very pretty. I still like the original better, and the tuberose is richer in it. For any age and really, any time of year. The cold air adds a crispness to it while the warm weather makes it sing.

La chasse aux papillons is such a breathtaking beauty. By some she has been described as the perfect wedding scent, but I have to disagree, a bridal scent is to me the classic formal, elegant perfume that is somewhat restraint, like the wedding itself. For me La Chasse aux papillons is quite the opposite, she is much more than a "pretty spring perfume", she is a untamed wildflower. Although the white flower notes are soft and demure, they still give the scent a spark of madness and sensuality, which only white flowers can do. La chasse aux papillons is somthing you reach after with a longing, you want to catch her, but as soon as you think she is within your reach, alas she is gone.

From the first time I smelled it, La Chasse aux Papillons captured my heart. This perfume is so "me" that it just had to become my signature. La Chasse aux Papillons is sunshine and happiness and a big bouquet of fragrant spring flowers. Even though it's light and fresh, it's as appropriate with a pair of jeans and a white shirt as it is with a business suit. As much as I like this perfume in the colder months, I adore it even more when the weather warms up as I find that's when it truly shines. I've never had problems with longevity, but I typically tend to be an undersprayer and gravitate towards lighter perfumes in general. This perfume is pure happiness in a bottle for me.

A delicately beautiful fragrance. It reminds me of reading a book by the garden during a summer afternoon, while white butterflies dance along with the flowers and bushes. It can also be a painting of Claude Monet made into a perfume. It starts as a light-soapy tuberose mellowed by jasmine, followed by a slightly green and quaint citrusy sweet yellow floral scent that daintily resembles a star anise characteristic; however, the drydown on my skin resembles a little of a warm honey-frangipani scent. I think it smells more white floral on the clothes rather than the skin. The white floral notes of this fragrance are consistent which makes it elegant and classically feminine.

The Sandra Dee of tuberoses scents--La Chasse aux Pappillons opens with lime and tuberoses. It is joined by linden and orange blossom, which initially made me worry that it might tip the scales towards being too sweet. Ultimately though, LCaP gives me impression of being that woman in an impressionist painting surrounded by a field of flowers, with gentle sunlight streaming through my golden hair. Innocent, pretty, youthful, without deception. Definitely not a scent to lure your lover with. However, it has its place in a well-rounded perfume collection. Although I am in my 50's, I can see wearing this pretty scent on a warm spring day.

One of my favorites for late spring/early summer, and one of the only niche perfumes (if it's even considered that) that I decided to spend the money on. I bought it for the lime blossom, called linden where I live, and it delivered in spades. It's completely floral and doesn't last long, but wonderful when it hangs around. Lovely any time of year and I think for any age group. Update 3/16/21: I still like this scent but find I tend to tire of it quickly while I'm wearing it. It's getting to the point where I'd almost rather smell it sprayed on something that doesn't follow me around everywhere I go.

Tuberose is hit or miss for me, and this is a win. La Chasse is a clean and sensual tuberose, but not at first. Do not overspray!! The first few minutes may make you have second thoughts. Wait it out and then the linden blossom and honeysuckle balance out the tuberose. I seem to have many compliments while I wear this-the best one was-I was standing next to a famous football player (I'm from Texas so this is a big deal) and he whispered to his girlfriend "that lady smells great", I did not know it was me until she kept giving me the evil eye the whole time and then it clicked!! DH loves this too.

This is beautiful. It’s not heavy but has some staying power. Which is great because perfume seems to fade fast on me. It smells very fresh and springy. I would not say immature as in another review, but I do feel more youthful wearing it. I think that is due to the linden, the jasmine makes it feel a little bolder and thicker but not over saturated. I smell both notes equally. It’s spring 2008. It’s my honeymoon and my husband I are hopping across Europe. Today we are strolling down the Unter den Linden drag in Berlin, Germany. On either side there are perfect rows of beautiful linden trees.

I wore this when I was younger, so when my beloved stepdaughter, a young adult, asked for a bold and elegant flower theme, I knew this was for her. This doesn't float in a room, it prances. It is bold but innocent, just perfect for a beautiful young woman coming of age. It would also work wonderfully for an older woman of course, but I find it lacks a certain maturity. This attracts attention in a good way, with its unashamed strong flower character, but does not evoke those complex memories I like in a scent nowadays. Apart from that, I love this fragrance, it's truly a timeless classic.

This was heaven to me at first whiff! I love love love the beauty and nostalgia I find in this scent! It's so unique, complex, and hard to describe... I cannot pinpoint just what it is that I love so much about it. Unfortunately it has very little staying power. Perhaps I will have better luck with this one in the warmer months. I do notice the infamous tuberose note but it is not at all offensive here, just a complimentary element to this perfect concoction. One of my all time favorites! I'm very interested to try out the "La Chasse aux Papillons Extreme" and see how it compares.

I have bought (not boughten lol) this perfume for over 20 years. It just screams clean, acceptable & just a beautiful version of light white creamy florals. I have a few of the " reminds me of" I need to pull out & compare. Creed Iris Tuberose is a (good) monster compared to this, so I will try to barely graze my skin with a slight mist & see if it compares. Avon Today, well, not so sure about how much it compares, but it is equally gorgeous. I will always buy this! Just wondering where they get the description put in up top for "animalic" accord. I don't think so.

Bright and airy! It leads with a sunny, citrus-y tuberose blended with jasmine, with a clean greenish orange blossom note in the background. Very spring in a bottle! This has a lightweight aquatic/grassy-green quality to it that keeps it from being too heavy, but if you're sensitive to white florals it might still be too much, it is VERY floral. I can't get enough of it though, naturalistic daytime white florals are one of my favorite genres, I love this one a lot! I just wish it lasted longer, I can't justify purchasing more than a mini without how fleeting it is.

I just purchased a mini bottle of this, and what a lovely fragrance! As other reviewers have noted, its a very green tuberose with lime and a hint of orange blossom. My only problem with it is that it has short longevity and no sillage. I'm looking for the body lotion to layer with it - and think I'm probably going to buy a FB of it. EDIT: Got a FB along with the body lotion which improves the longevity - there are very few florals that I like, but this one I love!

I received a 0.7 ml sample of this from Lucky scent. And I have still no idea what it smells like, I could vaguely smell something promising when I put my nose to the skin, and then nothing. I feel so left out, I am not included in the croud that can enjoy and praise this scent. I can not even write a bad review, exept that it has no silage. Now I feel obsessed, what did I miss out on, maybe I should get a bigger sample.............?

What a lovely, fresh, greenish tuberose ... I assume the "green" is the linden. Alas, on me it pretty much disappears after an hour or so. Perhaps I should spray it on my clothing. Why don't fragrance houses sell bath and body versions of scents instead pushing out so many of those confusing flankers? I agree that "chasing butterflies" is an appropriate name, since the fragrance flutters away before you can catch it.

This is an ideal spring signature scent, and would make a lovely bridal perfume. Of all the florals I've tried, this one has a complete absence of harshness and indolic influence. That's why it smells so good. It is not a deep perfume, but it's very rich. Not a screech or cloy in sight. One good spray stays light, joyful and womanly for at least 8 hours on my skin. I've been wearing it everyday to the office. Bueno!

Dancing light-filled gorgeousness. La Chasse aux Papillons is one of my all time favourite scents. Very girly, filled with flowers - I can see the butterflies fluttering as it spritzes from the bottle. There's something a touch different about this perfume from other florals - perhaps the somehow light take on tuberose. Love florals and haven't yet smelled anything that would be a twin of this. Unique. Gorgeous.

This was one of my favorite perfumes for years in my twenties. I can’t give it anything less than a love, even though I don’t really wear it anymore. I’ve found some others I like as much. Such a lovely orange blossom, tuberose, jasmine scent. It’s a very youthful and playful scent. I do get a touch of sawdust though that’s not a negative for me. The lack of longevity was the one negative.

It's a love in a "likey" way, as odd as it sounds. For me it's the perfect innocent, safe, gentle frag for a mild spring day. That's exactly what it sets out to be and succeeds. It's not a scent you wear for impact or presence, but it's pretty enough to garner some offhand "you smell nice" comments, and more importantly, actually make you feel pretty. True blue femininity in a bottle.

A perfect "wear with a summer dress" fragrance, floral without any heaviness, just delightful. One of l'Artisan's best, and probably a steady seller, thanks to its classic youthful freshness and a mention in "Me Before You", which can't have done any harm. I love this and I have a cupboard full of furry musk and high incense. Go figure. 10/10 x

This is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever smelled. I treasure it. My husband loves this so much as well. It's the scent of all the special times in our lives. It's sensual, uplifting, and it stays on his mind and makes him happy. I love to smell this on my skin. I never tire of it. It's the best of me in the best of times.

I love this perfume, it is absolutely perfect! Gorgeous scent, airy, won't overpower anyone & on my clothes lasts all day. I have the OG clear bottle (same shape/orangeish label) & the new darker one. I ordered that b/c my OG is almost gone. The scent of the word "Lovely". It is springy/daytime, but I follow no rules.

It’s an extremely delicate,translucent and realistic blend of tuberose and orange blossom flowers.As far as I understand it was discontinued sadly.Very feminine,young and timeless.An extreme version was to sharp and stretchy for me.This fragrance brings very good memories and feeling of wellbeing.

A pleasant white floral scent. At first, there’s orange blossom with a touch of herbaceousness and a dusty, slightly astringent note that gives it the vivid sensation of a blooming meadow and sets it apart from other scents of its kind. Over time, it fades into an ordinary jasmine tea.

This is gorgeous! I love the lime blossom, which blends so well with the other florals. It’s not unique enough for me to justify the niche price. However, I’ll be keeping my eyes open for a gently used or grey market bottle. Testing from 5ml sample.

This is absolutely beautiful. Could be someone’s wedding scent. Light, romantic floral. Great for a hot summer day or Spring. Reminds me of my youth. There is an understated innocence aboit it, but can be worn at any age. Perhaps a bit nostalgic.

Airy floral most feminine fragrance, I wish the longevity would be better. One of the best gentle floral compositions. Fresh dewy sweet flowers start to finish. Nothing dusty, dirty , animalic ( I don’t smell anything of that )

Pure happiness in a bottle. Effortlessly pretty and natural. I am baffled as to why so many white florals like this fragrance are voted as highly feminine, guys enjoy smelling like nice flowers too!

Absolutely glorious even though sillage and longevity are both lousy on me. I have now bought a full bottle at a very good price because I like it so much. It’s clean, calming and soothing.

This reminds me of childhood and happy times. I don't usually go for florals this straightforward but LCAP is just so cozy. Could be a great bedtime scent if one is into that.

Does anyone know if this has now been discontinued please? It no longer appears for sale on the brand website and the body lotion has also been removed.

This is lovely, but very delicate. It is beautifully blended and I can smell all the notes. However I prefer a bit more oomph for tuberose.

So easy going, fresh, a bit nostalgic in a good way. I keep spraying this one as longevity is not so great but it is worth.
