First things first – the sprayer – Nice strong spray with Proper Plume! The juice: a sun soaked leather jacket draped over a bouquet of velvety roses ... On the skin for me – rose! The beautiful rose is what steps boldly to the front. Yet this is not a soft , floaty floral. It packs a punch. It has real atmospheric presence, that projects heavily. On the dry down there’s a musky leather and a subtle well blended woody note, which perhaps could be the oud – done different – a delicate oud that gives the fragrance a sun drenched, radiant quality. It’s warm and expansive with a sophisticated edge that stops it leaning too soft or too animalic. Truly a well balanced, well blended gem: Loud, yet soft , wearable yet edgy. Great projection and sillage. Fantastic longevity 8+ hrs easily! The opening is so intoxicating to me it’s easy to overspray – I think doing so risks pushing it into cloying territory. The magic of this gem is in its behaviour. Notes reveal themselves unexpectedly. I recently caught a whiff of cocoa on my husband and was surprised to see cacao listed as one of the notes. Cordovan Oud feels like it has a bit of everything. And somehow, it works beautifully. Gorgeous scent ❤️❤️❤️

Very round and comforting oud, almost sweet with a touch of cocoa. I'm not usually a fan of oud but this one is a bit different, love it !
