Dose of Rose

Dose of Rose by L'Atelier Parfum is a really lovely and fresh take on a rose perfume. Right from the first spray, it smells like soft rose petals with a little hint of something citrusy and bright. As it settles, the rose stays strong, but you also get a touch of something fruity and lightly sweet in the middle. It’s not too sugary or too sharp—just nicely in between. Later on, it turns warm and cozy with a bit of musk and wood that stays close to your skin. It feels romantic but also super easy to wear any day. The scent isn’t too strong, but it leaves a gentle, classy impression. What I love most is how real the rose smells—like actual flowers, not artificial. The bottle is simple and pretty, just like the scent. If you’re into rose perfumes or want something soft and elegant, this one’s a great choice.

A beautiful fragrance. I wasn't used to the first notes but I love it. The rose makes the fragrance feminine, seductive. It's not too heavy to wear so I'll also try it when the weather is nice.

I just received my Opus 2 sample set and decided to test them all in the order they are in the package. Dose of Rose was first. I cringed at first because of the black currant, which I just loathe. But as this develops, that note recedes significantly and this becomes quite distinct and beautiful. Velvety is the correct word. The scent bubble is delicious, rose and leather well balanced by the other notes. It definitely smells better away from the skin rather than smelling it up close on the skin. Right now, two spritzes are projecting quite effectively. I'm not sure if it's worth a full bottle for me. I'd probably be fine just ordering a few more samples. That's not because I don't enjoy Dose Of Rose. It's only because there are so many other scents I want more right now. I may end up eating my words because it grows more beautiful each passing moment!

I enjoy this 🩷 the weather is way too hot right now for this perfume, but this will bloom so much in the colder months. Can't wait to try it then for the correct review. It smells chypre and I love chypre, smells kinda like my Hermes Barenia perfume, but with rose. The only thing I would change about the scent is for it to be sweeter. I feel like if I layer it with a vanilla, it'll smell so so good. I'm unsure about the performance. Also it suits people over 30s better, quite mature (in a good way) and classy. This is how I imagine an old-money woman would smell like.

It's rosy. While there's a hint of leather in the backend and jasmine in the middle, its rose pretty much all the way to Grandma's house. Maybe a hint of cedar and the cardamom is in there but I'm not getting much of saffron, black current, cloves, pear, or papyrus, which is a shame because I'm getting... well rose, and more than a dose of it. I'm sure the other notes are adding something, but there's a lot more being suggested than what is coming through. It just feels more singular than the expectation. I'd be more curious about something more layered and has more prominence. Still, great projection and longevity, and it's fresh and feminine leaning, not powdery or musty (yes musty). Perfect for a young grandma, or maybe it's just right to compliment those oversized grandma glasses you're still wearing. Doesn't do anything for me.
