Dairymaid

Strongest (and most enjoyed by me) in the first hour, it then retreats to become a very pleasant skin scent. I got about 6 good hours of wear on a sunny Spring day when I was out and about and on the move. Unfortunately, Dairymaid isn't fairing quite so well in the cool damp weather. After only a few hours, it requires some major nose nuzzling to get just a tiny trace. As this is a perfume oil, I suspect a heavier hand in the application would remedy the performance in cool conditions. However, my teeny tiny sample is being saved for another day in June. It is worth noting that Dairymaid's honey is a very floral one as opposed to syrupy and pungent. Indeed, it is this fragrant floral honey note mingling with the milky softness that makes this scent so enticing. Finding a favourite in my 6 Latherati (Parchment Studios) samples is proving to be no easy task!

I think this is okay. It is too light for my personal liking but as a skin scent its quite pleasant. Powdery, it has something that reminds me of my childhood and my mother. It seems like a spring time perfume, but I think it would preform better in some heat. Its ok, nothing worth writing home about. 5/10

Powdery, slightly balsamic scent. I'm not sure whether I'm supposed to be thinking of a powdery old lady or baby powder. This smells old-fashioned and "perfumey" to me.
