Al Qiam Silver

My favourite signature scent right now. I’m honestly so glad this is affordable because I’d be upset if it wasn’t. It smells way more expensive than what you pay for it. The projection is crazy. A few sprays and it’s out there. It leaves a trail and people will smell you. Performance has been solid too. I get hours out of it without needing to respray. What I like most is how sweet and smooth it is. It’s fresh, but there’s a noticeable sweetness that makes it really easy to wear. Compared to Turathi Blue, which sometimes goes kind of tangy and almost sweaty on my skin, this stays clean and sweet the whole time. Turathi can have that sharp, ambroxan, warm skin vibe that reads a bit like BO to me. Al Qiam Silver doesn’t do that at all. Even when I go nose blind to it, if I smell directly off my skin, the sandalwood is very noticeable and it’s really nice. It gives it that creamy, slightly woody backbone that keeps the sweetness from feeling cheap or overly sugary. It just smells smooth and well put together. This one feels brighter, smoother, and more balanced. No harsh metallic edge, no weird sweaty undertone, just fresh, slightly sweet, and really likeable. For the price, it’s kind of a steal. Easy signature scent.

Amazing grapefruit scent! Fresh, light, a bit unique, and elegant. Perfect for work or enclosed spaces. Excellent longevity, especially on clothes, still noticeable after 6–7 hours and after coming back from work, this is my benchmark. The bottle is solid with a good cap and atomizer (especially for the price unlike the overpriced Gucci Guilty Elixir that has a joke of atomizer...). The design is quirky but much lighter than typical Lattafa bottles. Smells nearly identical to Turathi Blue, especially in the opening. I didn't test Tygar, but I love this scent profile. Compared to TB, this feels fresher and airier. TB has that typical Middle Eastern "funk" note, which put me off once I noticed it and Al Qiam Silver DOES NOT have that at all. Incredible value at around $24. Super versatile, inoffensive, and ideal for daily wear. I keep a small rotation, and this fits perfectly alongside BDC EDP for more formal occasions. PS stop falling for that bull cr*p maturation mambo jumbo, it's something all fragrances do but if you don't like it at first, the fragrance WILL NOT magically transform, so better test first

@cristiionut98 below me, I can assure you that some fragrances will in fact smell completely differently to their first couple of sprays, and Al Qiam Silver along with Eternal Oud were my first experiences. It doesnt happen all the time but this experience is particular with budget fragrances since they are usually sold before they have time to be well blended. This fragrance was my first Tygar experience and because of its hype I could not understand what the raving was all about coz all I could smell was vetiver bitterness; very unappealing. I was honestly gonna throw it away but kept going back to it and after a few months it had completely transformed. Quality control is getting better though, so this could be getting less common.

Cool banana's I'm the first review!!! Guys.....this one is so nice, its a clone of bvlgari tygar, its pretty much a 98% clone, its my number one freshie that I normally grab, fresh grapefruit with ambroxin and light woods, simple but super effective scent and always enjoyable, compliment getter. I personally love the uplift it gives me, I feel very zen for the rest of the day when I have it on. People say its unisex but nah! This scent is masculine, I have even worn this on a super cold winters day and somehow it still cuts through the cold. 10/10 this one is a staple for me, never will stop wearing it

This cologne opens up with a very citrusy (identical to grapefruit) smell and also musk. As this cologne sits on your skin, it only begins to smell better. Super fresh smell, perfect for spring and summer, and to just get that fresh sense. Smells very expensive. Similar to Bulgari Tiger but not identical, I actually prefer this one more. The only problem I have found is it doesn't last too long, probably around 4 hours before it dies out, but it does last on clothes well. I would suggest somewhere in the 8-10 spray range for optimal use. 4.8/5

I don't know what Tygar smells like but Al Qiam Silver smells absolutely amazing, it's signature scent worthy IMO. It's very fresh but unlike anything I've ever put my nose on, it gets me so many more compliments than my other freshies probably because it's strong and projects really well for a fresh fragrance (and because it smells great ofc). Performance is 10/10 as well especially if you take the price into consideration. I'll keep wearing this one for life as long as Lattafa keeps making it.

Outstanding fragrance. The Grapefruit note is very good and fresh a kinda reminds me of Light blue forever and Italian Love, so if you enjoy the Grapefruit in these kind of fragrances, you will like this one as well. The Ambroxan is also very present and helps to keep the citrus note for longer. Projection and longevity is on the moderate side, but for this price just re-apply it during the day. It is amazing and I will hit this fragrance a lot in the upcoming summer!

Smell is just amazing, it is really close to Tygar, maybe slightly sweeter and less versatile. I like it way more than Turathi because it feels not that synthetic. I also got tired of Turathi after 2 sprays, it was very closing. Al Qiam is much more intimate. I can't say it has some solid longevity like Turathi but the smell itself is lovely. It might need to be reapplied during the day also I didn't like atomizer - it feels pretty cheap and doesn't spray much

Great everyday signature scent. I live in the desert so it never gets too cold but I've worn this on our colder days and still got a solid projection and sillage for hours. Leaves a great refreshing scent trail and gets solid compliments. I can see how some people can feel it doesn't last, however in my experience that's been more of a nose fatigue issue than a performance issue as I've gotten compliments far after I thought the sillage was gone.

Nose Note #75 If you thought there was something missing in Bleu de Chanel, then get this. Just what it says - grapefruit and ginger. Very beautiful combo. A bit soapy. Very manly. Memorable My wife liked it Longevity is great, sillage is better than average Hard to describe how much I like it. I wanted to try it for a long time with my spider senses tingling, telling me I'm onto something, and the senses didn't fail me. Love at first sight.

Very similar to Jean Lowe Immortal, which of course is to be expected. Quite nice quality, no alcohol or anything , the price is very good , nicely blended. So as long as someone likes the DNA, they should like the fragrance. I was looking for a fragrance to add to my freshies as we are getting to summer (we get quite the scorching summers here in Greece) and this will work just fine :) 9 out of 10 for what I want it for :)

to me this is totally unisex. it's a nice scent, but it lacks any assertive notes which would make it even slightly masculine. the scent is kind of pleasantly muted/clouded: it is as if you are sniffing someone else's perfume left on your clean white cotton shirt. a bit powdery, somewhat sweet, citrusy and soapy, but distant, like a memory. mind you i am talking about scent character, not its performance.

Smells expensive .. Thank God they used normal ambroxin in this one . The Thurathi blue version has a cheap ambroxin in it that is unbearable. Al Qiam opens up bright imagine Goldfield and banks ginger but takes a different direction very quickly. It becomes warmer making it more versatile other than " just a summer scent " . It smells high quality , fresh , warm sophisticated. Highly recommended 👌

From the bottle this has a really realistic grapefruit smell. When it dries, you get a lot more of the musk and sandalwood. I've gotten many compliments on the smell. It can be smelled 2 feet away for like two hours then it becomes a skin sent for 1 more hour. The smell is addictive but it won't be noticeable unless you spray it on multiple times per day. Also its better to spray more of this one.

A very pleasant and lively smell, that everyone will probably like. For the first few minutes smells alcoholic, but very nice after that. Unfortunately, the projection is underwhelming. Lasts ~7 hours, but you can smell it in the air for only an hour, practically a skin scent after that. Anyway, for the price that i got it ($28) there's no reason not to buy it.

This is a great gym, active day fragrance. Really good for the summer. It lasts around 6 hours on my skin, projects well for the first 3. It is very close to Tygar, I’d say 80% close, and in my area, you can buy 18 bottles at the price of a single Tygar bottle. One of the best value to price ratios of the whole EM ecosystem. Love this.

Very close to Tygar, in fact closer than Turathi Blue. There is this sharp ginger note and more Ambroxan than Turathi Blue which is more about juicy grapefruit. If you want an almost copy clone of Tygar get this one, if you want something more performing get the Turathi, which is less airy and slightly sweeter and longer lasting.

Not impressive on first spray but I put it away for a while to settle for a long time and after revisiting it truly makes Tygar and Sospiro Vibrato obsolete IMO. My only complaint at this time is that the collar of the bottle seems to leak slightly and I don't like the bottle design. Scent and performance wise its great.

Smells like Sprite. Lovely fragrance, signature scent worthy for warm weather. One of the best fresh parfums in my collection, great for summer. Longevity is what you'd expect from a citrus freshie. Has a tangy sweet kick but not in a sickly and overwhelming way (like a lemon-lime soda). Blind buy worthy.

One heck of a clone. This smells very expensive. The grapefruit is very strong. This is actually very versatile, too (although could be nauseating when used in enclosed space). To me, I really thought this was a winter perfume, but I used it anyway in the summer and I got a compliment. Great for its price

I have been on a quest for an easy reach freshie and this bad boy qualifies. Sometimes minimal amount of notes is where it's at. Anyway, this opens with a zingy bright blast of candied lemons and a ginger kick followed by woody powdery musk. This will definitely keep you fresh all summer long. Love.

Beautiful Juice for all seasons! Perfect for first thing in the morning and definitely a crowd pleasing scent. Zingy-Fresh on the top which becomes sweeter as the day goes on. Almost like Fizzy sweets. Never smelt Tygar by Bvlgari but this Al Qiam Silver by Lataffa needs more attention.

Well done, Lattafa! Oh boy this frag is great. It smells like that tiny bit of wind you get when you open up a can of grapefruit & ginger soda. The ambroxan note is quite noticeable in this one as well. So fresh, light, and uplifting. Good longevity and performance. I’m very impressed!

@sezbez spray it out a couple of times and let it sit for a few months. Mine was exactly the same. Did a whole 180 after a month or two. Get a lot of the sweetness from the grapefruit now, and the ambroxan makes it last a whole day as the other notes play supportive roles.

I think this got more then i expected... so good,... projection seems to be weak but for that price you can reaply every hour without hesitation... but smell is really good doesnt smell like fragrance for 20€ at all.. if it has better projection it is 5/5

As far as dupes goes, this is the closest to its expensive counterpart Tygar, let us forget the dupe thing. this is the best long lasting and inexpensive high quality summer scent, if you like this profile which is never challenging to say the least.

Uplifting scent. Grapefruit with ginger and ambroxan.. Great value for money (around USD 25). You can't go wrong with this perfume. With this you don't need to buy Tygar Bvlgari at all. Lataffa is ruling.

Great neither sweet nor synthetic graipefruit with ginger. Pleasant, easy to wear, other people enjoy it. Long lasting with a bubble of scent around you for most of the day. Instant love. Very good value.

Great scent, one of my Best 3 from Lattafa. Very close to Tygar, it Smells better and frehser than Thurati without that spicy note that puts me off From Thurati. 9/10

Very very close to Tygar. For the price this is a a great fragrance for what you get. Smells of good quality and the performance is phenomenal for me.

Between this, turathi blue and theoreme rue broca, this more pleasant with smoother grapefruit less sharp compare to those two.

This is an absolute gem - 99% Tygar!

One of the famous fragrance alternatives Tygar Bvlgari at an affordable price. If we want to arrange cheap alternatives that simulate the famous fragrance, the order will be as follows: 1. Turathi Blue Afnan 2. Al Qiam Silver Lattafa Al Qiam Silver a fresh, citrus summer fragrance enriched with Grapefruit, Ginger and Ambroxan. Scent: Opening is fresh-citrus and strong notes of grapefruit, the primary notes I get are Ambroxan and Sandalwood, the strongest of the notes is Ambroxan and on a base of Vetiver and musk. The dry down is woody, and there is a rather noticeable syntactic scent in the stages of fragrance gradation. Performance: Initial projection is moderate at around arms length, sillage is strong with an easily noticeable scent trail, after a few hours the projection and scent trail were gone and it was left as a skin scent. Not the best in terms of performance. When to wear: This is a summer fragrance most suitable for allover day use, and I would consider this an office friendly fragrance. Blind buy: If you like fresh-citrus fragrances that dry down woody this could be a safe blind buy for you; even if you do not want the fragrance, it will not affect you in anything due to the low price, and you can in the worst circumstances gift it to someone dear to you. Bottle: The bottle actually comes from heavy glass and the color of the bottle is dark black. decorated with some beautiful blue beads, the bottle cap is heavy metal and can hold the bottle well ... The bottle looks valuable for the simple price. Final verdict: The scent itself was very enjoyable. I liked the transition between the opening and dry down, I think the Grapefruit, Ginger and Ambroxan notes were worked well; overall a nice olfactory experience. What really killed it was the performance; about few hours before it had to be reapplied, and the scent is somewhat synthetic. The resemblance to the original fragrance Tygar Bvlgari is more than 50% from my point of view.

It'll immediately remind of citrus forward hits along the lines of Tygar, Light Blue and Acqua di Gio. It's a refreshing citrus forward fragrance that is highlighted by a strong ginger note. As a wine lover, that immediately comes across to me as Sauvignon Blanc wine. To other noses, however, that may also come across as cat pee. Not too coincidentally, Sauvignon Blanc wine also smells like cat pee to those who dislike it. This does give way to a creamy sandalwood. This is an overall good blend of citrus, woody, musky and ginger aromas with white grapefruit, sandalwood and strong ginger aromas being the predominant notes here. This is fresh and clean and uplifting. It's unisex and is suitable for all ages. It works best in warm weather and during outdoor activities. There is a ton of designer, discount and clone citrus fragrances available on the market today so depending on how many you already own this could be redundant. Note that like all fragrances using natural citrus components, you'll find the performance average at best so feel free to overspray when first applying and respray throughout the day. A fine citrus fragrance overall. Recommended.

I have 50+ different niche, designer and dupe/clone niche perfumes. My bottle of Al Qiam is 8.5 months old. For the first 5 or so months, I did not really care for it. Also only lasted on skin for about 3 hours or so. Just tried it again, now the scent is much more refined and nuanced. A very much richer and deeper scent, one that I would actually wear. Has been 3 hours since a light spray on the arm, and is still going strong. The scent profile is not what I would normally wear, it would be good for summer or spring. For the price paid of $26 from Amazon, this is a banger if one likes this scent profile. Definitely smells more niche than designer. On my skin it gives me the vibe (not the actual smell of) of LV Imagination with twists. I have never smelled Tygar, so I cannot compare it to the OG. Great pick up for the price, assuming one is willing to be patient and let it mature. EDIT: Later in the day of this post, still projecting 10+ hours, 14 hours from the original light spray on the forearm is a light skin scent. Huge difference after 8.5 months of maturation.

A nice summer fragrance, straight up, it's a 6/10 for me. Good packaging, bottle and everything. Fruity, with a little bit of sweetness, maybe you can imagine maybe like sparkling water with lychee syrup? But it's a little bit aromatic, it's the moment when the ginger kicks in. After it dried out, the sparkling water feel dissappear, and it really smoothen up, it smells like citrussy dominant and i got some fruity notes, and it perfect for the first 8 hour. I don't know tygar original smell. I never smelled tygar. On my skin the longevity is like 12-15 hours, i usually use it on my way to college, it have ac on em, but i usually use it to go to hangout, and it last on my skin for 10-12 hours. BUTTTT..... BUTTTT, THERE IS A BUT IN HERE, when I said it was only good for the first 8 hour, I'm not lying, because after that I got a rusty iron smell for some random reason, so, yeah buy it at your own risk, if it doesn't have this reason I would give 9/10 Anyway, it's a good one consider the price and quality, i mean what did you expect, it's a clone. 6/10

Bottle arrived today and tested it on myself before my shift at work. I was just wearing grey vetiver from tom ford yesterday and I do notice a similarity between the two. This one is much sweeter, cleaner and less masculine than grey vetiver. Maybe the two aren't comparable but that's the closest reference I have. It smells great for how inexpensive it was. I think the silage was a little disappointing. I have a pretty sensitive nose but can only smell it once its first sprayed at arms length and then after about 2 hours i can only smell it when putting my nose close to my skin. Longevity was probably about 6 hours at the most and that's with it being a very intimate silage after the first hour. Overall I would say this is a good addition to the collection and I'm excited to try more scents from Lattafa. I'm hoping the next one I try has a little more power.

OK, so what are you get here based on my experience with this fragrance is the grapefruit and ginger work very well and the ginger with a vetiver almost gives you like a smoky incense kinda vibe you can definitely pick up on the in Bronx and however it’s not a massive from Broxson. It’s very wearable easy-going dressed up casual mass appealing compliment puller for sure, Surprisingly, this fragrance reminds me a bit of Tygar however as it starts to dry down this reminds me of Louis Vuitton’s L’immensite or maison alhambra’s Inmmortel lots of similarities. This is definitely the way to go you save the most buck for your bank.

Al Qiam Silver opens with a fresh, semi-sweet citrus musk like Bvlgari Tygar. It is a linear composition from the open to dry down without the harsh and synthetic opening often found in other Middle Eastern fragrances. The projection is decent for the first two hours, and the overall longevity is excellent. Although it has a higher price tag than Maison Alhambra Sceptre Bronzite, its superior performance justifies the cost. The only real difference between this and Afnan Turathi Blue is in the opening, where Turathi Blue brings a bit more sweetness.

This smells almost identical to khadlaj island dreams. Both are soapy grapefruit bombs but the only difference is this has slightly less grapefruit and a little more soap. If you like island dreams then you will like this but its redundant if you already own island dreams but if you had to choose between the two just buy this because its cheaper. It's smells like you just got out of a shower after using a grapefruit bar of soap so if that's what you want to smell like this is for you. 6/10

It reminds me a little bit of killian intoxicated after few days on clothes. I think it's perfect for lyering, it smells something like early september morning when you drink coffee in yard and sun is rising. it blends very nice on skin, like it's not perfume but skin smell. not good longevitity but when i smelled this perfume i feel like i am breathing fresh air on morning when it's starting to get cold, best for september or early spring

Strong and prominent juicy sweet grapefruit, musk, and ambroxan bomb. It makes my mouth water! Definitely a crowd-pleaser and head-turner for sure! The scent is unique and sticks out from the crowd in my opinion. I can only imagine this as a daytime summer scent, great for casual wear, for the gym, and for outdoor activities. Lasts 7-8 hours for me. 4-6 feet projection for an hour.

someone gave me a sample of this on a strip for me and i loved it. however I couldn't find it in my country so i settled with afnan theoreme since it was a clone of tygar as well. however i found theoreme wasn't as sweet as al qiam. today i went to my local store and found this on the shelves for $30 SGD, roughly around $20 USD. Snagged 3 boxes straight away!
