Angham

One of the best smelling perfumes I’ve ever had the pleasure to buy. I have only seen a couple other reviews on the internet mention anything remotely like this so it may be just me, but what I smell with Angham is a very rich lemon poundcake. The vanilla is turned up on overdrive and blended beautifully so don’t think I’m getting strong lemon. It may be the citrus from the mandarin and the ginger mixing that’s making me smell lemon. The vanilla is very warm and creamy, not cheap smelling at all. The opening is more citrus and I get some of that lavender but the vanilla is the star all the way through. The pink pepper is also there in the opening but not strong. The praline and cacao come out more in the mid and by then the lavender is pretty much gone. The end is pretty much just the the vanilla. The only issue I have is performance. Right out of the box I sprayed 4 sprays on each arm and man was it strong, for about 3 minutes. After 5 minutes it was pretty much a skin scent. My boyfriend had came home 10 minutes after I sprayed and he picked me up to get groceries. At this point I’m about 15 minutes in after spraying and I’m an inclosed car with him. I asked him did he smell anything and he said no. I didn’t either. I put my arm to his nose and asked him again. He said he could smell it now but it was very soft. 15 minutes being a skin scent is wild. And that’s being generous because I couldn’t smell it much after 5. Its been about a month and I’ve figured out how to wear this perfume. 20 sprays...minimum. I usually go about 25. I know that sounds crazy. I have other fragrances and I spray 2-3 sprays and that’s strong for me. The only place this perfume sticks to really is my hair which go figure isn’t a great place to put perfume on daily. I try to put it closer to my roots where the oil is protecting it more and the sun doesn’t reach. That helped but I don’t recommend it to everyone. Clothing doesn’t even really hold it well. It’s been about a month and 1/4 of my bottle is gone with a backup bottle also bought. I think it’s maybe me gotten a bit stronger but not a lot. Weirdly though once you get past those 20 sprays this performs pretty well, pretty moderate to well protection and about 4 hours of good longevity. Reapplying after hour 4 with about 4 sprays is a good idea if you can. Honestly with how amazing this smells and how it’s priced I may just buy a new bottle every couple months. I originally bought this to save money because I love Burberry Goddess and couldn’t justify the price point with others saying it doesn’t last long, but here we are. Will probably not save much with how much spraying is needed. I will say though that this smells very similar to Burberry Goddess. When I sprayed it I definitely thought that it was eerily similar with the vibe, but this smells better than BG to me. It’s like they made BG more interesting. This scent may mature and get stronger with more age, so I may test that with my other bottle by spraying it while letting it sit a while using my currently used one. I wouldn’t change the formula to get stronger juice if that means altering notes or overall smell. It’s a fair trade off for me to have a perfume that smells this delicious. I have gotten a compliment at work with my 25 sprays asking what I’m wearing and that it “smells really good”. I bought this perfume at Chemist Warehouse in Chatswood, Sydney, yesterday. After a lot of initial sprays, I removed the alcohol. The perfume came through. On my skin at 6 pm, I could still smell it faintly at 7.30 am the next day. I smelt this delicious chocolate & vanilla smell. On my pyjamas, I sprayed it 6 times at 9 pm. It was strong in the first 2 hours, then it softened. I resprayed it 3 times at 10 pm. The next morning, the perfume, with my body heat, amazingly and unexpectedly projected strongly. I loved that the perfume was deliciously strong. The sillage and projection on clothes are remarkable. It would definitely last days. I love the unique music (melody) and the gold-embossed bottle. It sprays easily. When I compared this perfume to my Burberry with Angham, I could smell these notes: Ginger, Mandarin, Pink Pepper, Lavender, Praline, Cacao, Jasmine, Vanilla, Amber and Musk. Both of these perfumes smell very similar due to their notes. Angham is definitely an excellent dupe for Goddess. Angham is blended very well; a sweeter vanilla, caramel, cocoa, musk and restrained lavender smell absolutely delicious after 12+ hours on clothes. In contrast, Goddess is a fresher floral, with sharper lavender & slight vanilla undertones. Angham is more cozy and wearable than Goddess. Also, I think that Angham smells very similar to my Libre Vanilla Couture - it reminds me of the same sweet type of vanilla. Also, I think you could layer Angham with the original YSL Libre EDP to get the same YSL Vanilla Libre Couture or better vibe. The price and quality ingredients of Angham are superb. Burberry Goddess EDP is more formal and fresher. While I have both perfumes, I think Angham is definitely a great buy: easier to use, a reasonable price of $59, and blended better than Goddess. On my skin & clothes, Angham is like a candy/chocolate/caramel sweet version of Goddess. It was a complete surprise. Yes, the social media hype is real for a reason. It is definitely worth a try. In summary, the perfume may seem weak when you first spray it. After the initial sprays, you get the real strength of the perfume. People may say you need to let the perfume settle, leave it for a while, then respray later, perhaps a month; for me, this was unnecessary. I will definitely buy another bottle because it is so good. I like gourmand fragrances. Angham is more of a friendly, warmer, cosy and deliciously sweeter powdery version of Goddess. As far as longevity goes, both Goddess EDP and Angham are the same for me. For some reason, Goddess feels colder, fresher, and lavender-based, with a clinical alcoholic vanilla on me, than Angham. Angham wowed me!!!! I am so happy to have this perfume in my collection. For anyone who wants the Burberry Goddess perfume but wants to save money, this dupe is a wonderful option. I highly recommend this one.

Straight out of the box, the first 5 sprays onto a tshirt and.... omg this is a lavender and vanilla BOMB! The lavender is so overpowering, I feel it in the back of my throat. It lasted forever on the tshirt, and I could smell it as soon as I walked into the same room with the t-shirt, even with just the 5 sprays, and I don't hate it, but I really hope it kind of softens and smoothens out a bit with time so it won't be as sharp in the opening. Hopefully the sillage and longevity stay the same though, because it's really quite impressive! I'll update in a few weeks... ETA It's been almost a month and omg I'm in love with this fragrance! The lavender is definitely still there, but the vanilla has become so much stronger and has turned the fragrance into something so fluffy sweet beautiful! The sillage and longevity are on another level.... it lasts for days on clothes and with just a few sprays you can smell it from across a large room! The ginger, mandarin and cacao have also become a bit more prominent and even my husband who is usually useless when it comes to identifying notes noticed the cacao! I think it's fresh enough that it could work all year round, even in the summer, and sweet enough that it could be nice and cosy in the winter. So it's really versatile. My only issue is that I rarely wear the types of outfits that this sort of fragrance goes well with. I don't think it goes well with a more casual look, but that's a me problem lol. I don't think it's a "mature" fragrance at all, I think anyone of any age could pull this off, but it's definitely feminine in my opinion!

Angham is a classy, sophisticated floriental. The bottle is simple but elegant, thick glass with gold music accents (Angham means "melodies" or "tunes" in Arabic). It would not look out of place on display with more expensive fragrances, though it does stick out a little against my more juvenile marshmallow fragrances... Compared to Burberry Goddess, Angham is softer and "richer." Goddess is a lavender perfume practically through and through. Angham hits me immediately with ginger and lavender. The jasmine comes through next, and it was the loudest note when the bottle was brand new. The vanilla and cacao have become more prominent with maceration, giving it a roundness and "thickness". It also has a "cardboard" quality that kind of makes it smell like new money, the paper and sweet ink of actual crisp dollar bills... I happen to like the smell of new money, but keep that in mind if you don't lol. The strangest thing about this though is that it skips becoming a skin scent on me and just completely disappears at around the four-hour mark... Not a trace of it to be found. Hopefully its longevity and sillage get better with time. While Angham is marketed as a vanilla perfume, it is not the creamy, dessert, gourmand fragrance a lot of people think of when they hear "vanilla." It is also not a floral perfume in the most traditional sense, because while lavender is a flower, I find it veers more into almost the aromatic or herbal category. It's still sweet but sophisticated and grown. Suitable for day and night, from office to dinner party.

It's stunning, a masterpiece! I have actually been searching for something like this a while. It's a delightful vanilla-lavender with just a little citruss or some kind of fruitiness in the opening. After a few minutes it settles into the creamiest vanilla with a little bit of cocoa powder and a very slight hint of florals. It's feminine but not in a girly way - it smells elegant and womanly and it's not too sweet either, like most vanilla scents are. I wouldn't even call it a gourmand honestly, altough some people like to describe it as such, as it's not exactly edible smelling. It is maybe gourmand LEANING but you won't smell like cake/dessert/pastry, which is why i'd say it's good for any season (even summer if sprayed carefully), any ocasion and any moment of the day. It has a contrast to it - the creaminess of the vanilla, praline and cocoa is perfectly ballanced by the florals (especially the lavender and jasmine), by the freshness of the ginger and mandarin and by a hint of spiciness. I can see why this gets so many compliments! This it's better and more complex than goddess in my opinion. Also stronger!!! It has more of that cocoa in it and it's creamier. Goddess is a little bit brighter, especially for the first hour! I really do enjoy Angham more and if the prices were switched, i'd still choose it! It is just so extremelly pleasant and so sophisticated and expensive-smelling!

mind you i only sprayed it on my clothes i first smelt it in store and i could only detect the mandarine and ginger at first. i still bought it because of the good reviews i saw. only thing i can tell you is that i love it. when i spray it, i can definitely tell the mandarin and ginger notes, though ginger is not overpowering, which i think is a good thing. there's also a sweetness to it, without being gourmand that i really enjoy. after a certain time, i detected a certain floral scent, not unpleasing at all, could maybe be the jasmine. finally, around 6 hours later, you could smell a creamy, soft vanilla, not overpowering, but also persistent. the first citrusy scents had gone. to wrap this up, 1 : mandarine and ginger, 2 : praliné and jasmine, 3 : vanilla followed by amber. those were the scents i smelt. on my clothes, this fragrance stayed for maybe 8 hours, which for the price i'm not complaining. if you're looking for something really sweet almost like candy, this is not for you, but if you want something sweet without it being overly cloying, i think this is a great try. definitely go in store, and spray it on a piece of paper, dont do like me and blind buy. mind you i didnt let this scent macerate so im definietly looking forward to see the results after around 6-8 months def thinks thats its a fragrance leaning more towards female than male

Angham is such a beautiful and unique fragrance imo. I don’t get what some reviewers get from it though I did spray it a handful of times and let it sit in my dark cool closet for a few months. The initial spray is STRONG, so strong in fact that I have to spray it on my clothing, at least one hour or two before I actually put those clothes on otherwise it can be headache inducing. Once it dries down though the only way I can describe it is that it’s almost a creamy marshmallow somewhat lemony scent, but not like a lemon cookie and it’s not lemon on the nose, lemon isn’t even really the right descriptor, but that’s what image comes to my mind every time I wear it. Absolutely perfect for spring and Easter. For me the lavender is perfectly blended. It is not a floral forward fragrance at all. I am not a floral forward fan so if it was extremely lavender forward or floral forward, I wouldn’t be able to wear it at all. It is creamy and soft, but in a way that is unlike any other gourmand or creamy fragrance, if you are buying this based off of that description, it’s probably not gonna be what you expect, Despite the fact that creamy and even marshmallowy is the best way to describe it. This is sweet without being sugary or sickly. It is such a sophisticated fragrance in my opinion

Angham by Lattafa is a beautiful gourmand fragrance built around a rich vanilla and lavender combination. It suits all age groups and delivers far above its price point, competing with fragrances that cost significantly more. Beautiful fragrance. Being a piano teacher myself, I bought Angham (the Arabic word for "melodies") because both the name and the bottle resonate with my profession. I hoped the scent would suit me as well—and it certainly did. As a music teacher, I prefer fragrances that aren't too bold, overly sweet, or heavy, especially when working closely with students. At the same time, I'm not particularly fond of fresh fragrances, so I was hoping for something that would strike a balance between sweetness and brightness. I was pleasantly surprised! I love how the floral notes soften and embrace the sweetness, while the ginger adds a subtle spicy kick without ever becoming sharp or overpowering. There is only one thing that bothers me: my sensitive nose occasionally picks up a slightly synthetic, oily note, either in the opening or during the drydown on clothes. Fortunately, it comes and goes, so it's quite bearable. 8/10

LET IT MACERATE!!!!! Guys. You’ve got to let your Middle Eastern fragrances macerate. Two months bare minimum. One year would be even better. I reviewed this right after I bought it. I remember thinking that even though I liked it, it didn’t smell a ton like goddess like everyone is saying— kind of similar but not the same. it smelled way more gourmand. The praline note was super prominent. I wore it a couple times and then put it away because I found it to be super heavy and super sweet. well, I just picked it back up today after almost a year and it literally brought me to my knees. it’s absolute perfection. it’s like the absolute perfect balance between warm, fresh and sweet. I almost wanna cry. It’s so beautiful. It smells like Burberry goddess, but like way better. If you haven’t tried this yet, what the hell are you waiting for? At $40 it’s definitely a safe blind buy. But let it macerate!!!!! 20 / 10

I was unsure about blind buying this fragrance because I don’t like floral or screechy perfumes. I usually go for gourmand, clean, woody or skin scents because they are a bit safer for me. I was hoping this would be a soft warm scent because of the reviews. I’m happy to say that this is now one of my top 3 scents. It is soft, clean and cozy. I’ll tell you exactly what it smells like: If you washed your clothes with a lavender vanilla fabric softener and pulled them straight out of the dryer, sweet and warm And put your face right into it to give a good sniff!! I do think, however, that on skin it smells less lavender more vanilla. And on clothes the same but the lavender sticks around a little longer. I feel like if someone hugged you they wouldn’t think you were wearing a perfume. They would just think that you smell really good! Edit At the 3-4 hr mark on my skin I get hints of milk chocolate.

This perfume smelled basic at first but it sneaks up on you in the best way possible. let it sit a bit. At first sniff, it just smelled like a generic amber vanilla. But the more I wore it, the more I smelled all the other notes. the lavendar, and cacao come through so beautifully and in the smoothest way. theres just enough of it to not overpower the amber and vanilla. the pink pepper and ginger add the hint of spice that it needs, while the jasmine gives enough floral to balance out the gourmand sweetness. I can actually smell all the notes in this perfume, which is rare for most perfumes, where I'd say only 3-4 notes stand out and the rest seems absent or weak. This is so inviting, cozy, and calming- a beautiful one i will purchase more of when my bottle runs out. This is a light, non cloying gourmand that could work all year round, but best in colder months.

I'm not going lie, when I first got Angham, I almost returned it. The first spray reminded me of a lemon-scented cleaning product sprayed on a white porcelain toilet seat. All I could pick up was lavender and citrus, and the opening was far too sharp and overpowering for my nose. After letting it sit for a couple of months, it has completely transformed and has since become my signature scent. The initial spray is still a bit sharp, but now the lavender and citrus fade into the background, allowing the warm vanilla to shine. The praline and ginger give the vanilla more depth and body—it’s sweet and cozy without being overly spicy or smelling like a dessert. I haven’t smelled Burberry Goddess, so I can’t speak to how close of a dupe this is, but on its own, Angham is a solid perfume. It lasts all day on me and is by far my most complimented scent! 9/10.

The TikTok aunties influenced me to buy this and tbh, I was really scared to get it at first because I'm not really one to stray from the gourmands. I'm a really gourmand-y girl. But it doesn't hurt to try and it was really cheap as well. I have a small decant of Burberry Goddess, and I asked my brother, who doesn't even speak perfume, to smell it, and he preferred this one to the Goddess. I can smell the vanilla, I can smell the lavender, but it's not like they're fighting with each other. I think they complement each other beautifully. I would say that if you smell Burberry Goddess, then you are more likely to like this. But I wouldn't say this is blind buy safe, especially for people who are more gourmand-leaning. I'm happy that it worked well for me, but I would not advise anybody to blind buy anything.

Angham by Lattafa is a total "beast mode" powerhouse that delivers an immediate "wow" factor from the very first spray, and its performance is so impressive that I can still smell it on myself the next day. While FragranceX suggests this is better suited for the winter, its vibrant blend of spicy ginger, creamy praline, and fresh florals makes it a stunning choice for spring and summer as well, it is truly a versatile, year-round signature that I will be wearing whenever I want. Although it leans sweet, the aromatic lavender and deep cacao notes give it a sophisticated edge that is perfectly unisex, proving it can be worn beautifully by men as well as women. Between that incredible 24-hour longevity and the intoxicating scent profile, this is a must-buy that stands out in any season.

This is a beautiful fragrance, I am not usually a huge fan of lavender, but it is perfectly balanced with the vanilla. There is just the barest hint of spiciness from the ginger when you first spray this on, but that doesn't really last, it just settles down into a very warm, creamy, comforting vanilla lavender, with a hint of musk and cacao. It smells beautiful, expensive and delicious. I live where the summers are not very hot and find that its suitable for all year round, but I really gravitate towards this when I want to feel cozy, relaxed, yet somehow like I have my life together. I have never experienced the OG but don't really feel I need to in order to appreciate this scent, this is a lovely perfume all on it's own, and more than worth its very affordable price point.

Lavender, vanilla, a hint of chocolate. I get a little pepper and mandarin at the start, but it's largely heady vanilla and soft lavender on my skin. I'm not one for gourmand-leaning fragrances normally, but I quite like this! My bottle is rather new with a mfg date of April '26, so I was concerned it may need to be tucked away for a month or two yet, but no, it's great from the first spray. I don't find it overly sweet as of now, so I'm hoping it stays wearable throughout the approaching summer heat. A friend used to live in Burberry Goddess, and while it's been a while since she's last worn it, Angham does ring some memory bells. So while it may not be exactly the same, to my nose it at least lives in the same neighbourhood. A very successful blind buy!

Out of the new bottle, I get the praline and cacao right off the; the powdery lavendar comes later - but very softly. Unlike most Lattafa scents, I didn't need to let this rest to fall in love with it. I *will* let it rest but, for now, I am entranced. I hesitated to get it for the longest because I saw comparisons to Khamrah. I like Khamrah but I don't love, love, love it. It's gotten better with rest, but it has a cinnamon-like note that puts me off. Angham tho... it is amazing. It is soft and feminine without the boozy note I get from Khamrah. It has powder and just enough praline. It reminds me more of my well-macerated Athena than anything else I own. I had to get the mist because of how much l love the Angham spray.

I blind bought this recently and even right out of the box it smells so good!! I have a travel size of Burberry Goddess and on my skin Angham smells almost identical to Goddess, so I agree with others saying it is a close dupe. Most middle eastern perfumes have to sit a few months to reach their true scent, but this one really does smell good right away which is awesome. Can't wait to see how it matures over time. This perfume smells like a light and fresh vanilla with some lavender notes. It is very comforting and uplifting. It has good longevity too, I can smell it on my skin 7 hours later and even longer on clothes. The price is amazing too. Will definitely be keeping this in my rotation!

Blind bought this at a Winners for $26.00, was immediately entranced after my first whiff. This is a beautiful, rare, ripe juicy vanilla fruit you'd stumble across deep in the amazon. I feel as though I could take a bite of this aroma, the praline and mandarin add a freshness that transforms this into a confectionary delight. The lavender adds a powdery quality that tones down the intensity of the sweetness. With that said, it is incredibly sweet and doesn't last long on my skin (that, or I go nose blind to it after a couple hours). I am completely obsessed, and for the price? I consider it a safe blind buy for vanilla lovers.
