Art of Arabia II

First time I sprayed this...it was weird and really strong..about 2 months ago.. Now though It's creamy, strong(not too strong), and delicious tbh. Almond with powerful woods and beautiful floral undertones. Something different and amazing tbh.

Now this is definetly middle eastern, also DEFINETLY polarising, but DEFINETLY my jam. 8/10

Art of Arabia 2 kicks off with a lively mix of pink pepper, heliotrope, cardamom, and bergamot. The opening is both spicy and fresh, instantly grabbing attention. As it settles, the middle notes of jasmine, almond, and lavender start to come through. This part is really where the magic happens – it’s floral, slightly nutty, and soothing all at once. Then, it dries down to this incredibly rich base of oud, guaiac wood, sandalwood, and vanilla. It’s warm, woody, and just a bit sweet, making it perfect for any time of day. The oud really adds that deep, luxurious touch, grounding the whole scent beautifully. Overall, this perfume is a journey from vibrant and spicy to warm and woody, with a touch of sweetness. It’s a unique and balanced fragrance that’s sure to turn heads. I love it!

This perfums is not for every nose and i understand why there is so much hate behind it... It really is an oriental fragrance, yo catch the oud and the heliotrope quite istantly after that yo catch this bitter almond defenetely not gourmand that is very fotorealistic in the sense that is not a sweet almond but at the same time it comes across very syinthetic in my opinion. After the dry down it stays pretty much linear during the whole longevity. HOT QUESTIONS: 1) Does it smells like Pegasus Exclusif ? Yes and no, it does remind me a lot of pegasus exclusif witch i already did a review but the oud accord comes across much differentely here. It is more pungent and more oriental also the accords comes across very syinthetic. In the contrary parfums de marly used a more refined oud accord more "western" and the heliotrope is less pungent and synthetic. 2) does it gets you compliment ? No, in my opinion it smells too pungent and oriental, not mass appealing it may comes interesting for some but only for those who smelled the real deal. 3) how is the longevity ? It is quite strong and to my perceive even longer lasting than pegasus exclusif maybe a bit less sillage though 8 hrs longevity and moderate projection, so yes more than avg defenetely ! 4) Mark and personal opinion: I score this a solid 6.7. i personally wouldn't buy this because i do not enjoy this type of fragrances but i can see how some people would like this and to be fair it's a good dupe if yo want to save some bucks. But i wold suggest you buy even a sample of the Pegasus exclusif just so you know the differences... to me it smells 85% similar but that 15% makes a huge difference. 5) not safe blindbuy. 6) Unisex totally.

I’m very new to oud, it’s a note that if present, I refuse to blind buy. I try to avoid blind buying in general, but sometimes I’m overcome with the temptation. Anyway, I received Art of Arabia II in a giveaway from a perfume discounter I frequently order from. To say I was a bit nervous was an understatement. Today arrives and I finally sample spray it, on paper for now. I’ll do skin soon. The open was sweeter than I was expecting, I actually thought it was fairly nice. As it dried down, the oud started to show itself. I was impressed with how it blended, while still more overpowering than I like, I was pleased that it was a smokier, almost leather smelling oud. There’s almond in it, but I don’t smell almond itself. Instead, I think it blends with the other notes to create a smell that I can only describe as smoking a cigar on a leather chair. Overall, it’s absolutely not blind buy safe. But I’m intrigued by the composition overall and feel like I can find a time to pull this off. We’ll see how it smells after maceration, but I’m impressed given my general dislike of oud.

This is somehow impossible for my nose to "digest". Art of Arabia III was instantly a love for me, but this II iteration is an entirely different monster. The very first spray nearly killed me, and even though things improved afterwards, it's still a fragrance that makes it tough for you to enjoy. It's like a very thick, dry, woody/herbal leather accord, and that's pretty much what I manage to get! Not for the faint of heart that's for sure! You've been warned! 😬 PS. Eventually it becomes a bit tolerable way down the way, slightly reminding a more rough, rugged and leathery version of "Opera" from Xerjoff, but that's just so far down the line that you'd be struggling for most of the wearing of this frag.

I agree with GoldIris' description of the scent profile. It is predominantly a smooth luxurious woodsy leather accord. It is a quality juice with beast mode performance.

Don't be fooled. The notes may be similar to PDM Pegasus Exclusif, but no way does this smell anything remotely like it. The fragrance is just awful and smells of poor quality. I could never recommend this to anyone. I tried to pawn this off on my adult son and he said it smelled rancid - my entire family and my in laws were repulsed. Save your money and buy something else. I would throw this away but I don't want to pollute the Earth. No idea what I am going to do with this piece of garbage. I'm afraid if I give it to a stinky homeless guy downtown, he'll end up throwing it back at me. On second thought, they could repackage it as scented pepper spray to protect women from an attacker or for those campers out there, this could be great bear, mountain lion or wolverine deterrent - then again that might be considered cruelty to animals. You think I'm joking? Buy it! I dare you! Buy it! You'll see for yourself...I dare you! You'll never pay for something that smells this objectionable!

its a fart spray made by lattafa made for pranking purposes you spray someone with it and they leave a nasty trail of odor behind them as they walk around the smell can be described as nauseating rotting green cucumber

This is so so bad my god. Doesnt smell remotely of almond or heliotrope. Smells borderline rancid and i have no idea why. Doesnt even smell remotely like Pegasus either.

Nah wtf is this? I usually love winter frag but what is this.

This is a very different, and at first difficult fragrance to appreciate. But after 3 months of letting it sit. It’s turning out to be something quite beautiful. I bought it simply because I wanted to have all 3 Art of Arabia’s. Now I’m glad I did. Just my opinion so please take it with a grain of salt. Because it’s up to you ultimately. If you have patience it does get a lot better. Is it trying to dupe PDM PE yes. Its about 60% alike and 40% in a different direction. It will not be for everyone, more for the I have to have everything in my collection fragheads. But give this one a little time you might just find it to be a decent fragrance.

I really want something like this but with the oud turned down a notch or two. Any suggestions?? Because this smells like tire and rubber to me
