Attar Amoura

Amoura is not trying to impress you - it just does. It's creamy, yes, but with enough orange, jasmine and vanilla to keep things elegant rather than edible. People compare it to Cheirosa ’62, which is not quite my take on it. Cheirosa is dessert. Amoura is dinner - the kind you eat with cutlery and composure. It’s smooth, radiant, and frankly sooo easy to like. The sort of perfume that doesn’t need to announce itself because it knows you’ll come back for another sniff anyway. Overall, it’s divine - a genuinely elegant composition that manages to be comforting and radiant at the same time. Nothing more, nothing less.

I can’t believe more people don’t talk about this one! It’s gorgeous, light, and fluffy—but also creamy and sweet at the same time. I get a lot of the orange, tonka, and coconut, and they get more pronounced the longer it sits on the skin. Soft enough to be a skin scent with a light application, but if you choose to use more over the pulse points it’s a huge compliment getter. This one’s gorgeous and has an expensive feel, especially for this price point. Highly recommend!

I finally was able to get my hands on this oil! It smells so good!! It opens with a beautiful orange forward scent to transform into a sugary almond scent with a hint of coconut. The jasmine gets lost on my skin so it turns into a beautiful gourmand which is what I was hoping it would do! I can’t wait to pair it with Voux Patisserie and Italica!!

Bought this at Burlington as a literal blind buy, I have loved it since I bought it. It's not listed but I swear I smell caramel and it's so delicious smelling 😍 the coconut smell isn't too prominent but it is there so if you don't like coconut might not like this but otherwise pretty safe blind buy.

Sweet, almondy, coconutty, vanilla scent. Very very nice if you like this profile. It’s perfect for me because sometimes I have alcohol skin sensitivity and can only wear oils until it goes away. It’s also great to put some in your hair 😍😍

Agree with others that this gives me SDJ 62. I don't pick up on the orange and really pick up other sweet nutty notes that are not listed. Warm and deep, but not wintery due to the coconut/pistachio vibes.

This is really pretty :) it’s definitely a more perfumy mature version of SD .... I love t is great oil. And got it for a wonderful price ... glad to have it in my collection :)

I love this! Such a nice sweet nutty tropical Gourmand. It reminds me of Cheriosa 62 which is strange since there is no Pistachio note in it.

First of all, let's hear it for the bottle. This one is pretty without being showing and it has some weight to it. The wand is a bit short, weirdly. As with all my UAE scents, this one arrived still pretty new so I am going to let it bloom for a while. Surprisingly, this trick works just as well with oils as it does with sprays. As soon as I open the jar, something starts happening 🤷🏾♀️ For now, I can smell all of the listed notes except for the orange. Oddly enough, I can detect a hint of something like praline... I will have to update as this ages.

This attar oil was so hyped up that I bought it based on influencers’ recommendations. I was very excited to try it, but when it arrived, it was a huge disappointment. The notes are nothing special; it smells like an average tropical body lotion, and not even the best one. The longevity is close to nothing; I couldn’t smell it after 30 minutes on my skin. This was very disappointing for an oil, as I thought oils were supposed to last longer. During my time in Dubai, I bought a couple of unknown, inexpensive oil perfumes at the market (souk), and to be honest, they smell way better and last all day. This has been a huge disappointment. :-(

Starts off very beautiful with the almond and orange opening then a few minutes in becomes soapy I'm guessing from the jasmine and stays that way on my skin it's a pass for me!

Cheirosa 62 salted caramel and nuttiness + a little uplifting orange and a hint of tropical coconut. The almond extract comes across fruity, but not a deep fruitiness like cherry - instead, it's a pineapple-y coconut fruitiness. To me, Amoura smells like a happiness, like a caramel ice cream on a Caribbean beach with palm trees. She becomes more and more addicting the more you smell her. The reason I purchased Amoura is because she is great for layering, and safe to put in your hair! I don't fully agree that Amoura and Minya smell alike. Minya is more powdery, less fruity, and stronger. One month later, this scent is MUCH stronger. The nuttiness and caramel add to the intensity.

Dries down to the original Yara. Would be practical to layer with lots of different fragrances. The bottle is cute.

Smells like Caramelized almonds; exactly like Cheriosa 62
