Blue Sapphire

this is so delicious to me. powdery and somewhat gourmand. it makes me salivate and want to take a bite out of my own skin it smells so good. it's kinda like a fall/winter version of fakhar black/ysl y, it has the same powdery freshness but has some added cardamom/spices that make it a warmer scent (I know spices and cardamom aren't listed notes, but that's what I think I smell). it's still versatile enough for any season but I will definitely be getting a bottle for spring and fall, I think that's where it will shine best. I really like this, but I would still say not a safe blind buy given that I am one of the few positive reviews.

Projection and sillage is insane on my bottle longevity on my skin is 12+ hours 😂 its crazy i only do 4 sprays of this otherwise it is too strong with the minty spices. 4 sprays is the sweet spot for me smells amazing and inoffensive. And yes it smells like eros but a bit more spicy in the opening.

Great scent for small money. If you like EROS you will also love this fragrance. This scent is definitely a blind buy.

I find Blue Sapphire is a refreshing, mature interpretation of the popular "Eros" fragrance DNA, making it a versatile choice for the office. The scent strikes me with a pronounced powdery accord, likely from the sage, along with mint, which quickly settles into a creamy, velvety but green foundation that remains on the fresh side of the spectrum. This combination lends a sophisticated yet casual character to the fragrance. While the aquatic notes are present, they take a supporting role, adding a masculine edge to the composition. The dry down maintains its soft, powdery quality, but gains a subtle herbal facet, reminiscent of grassy patchouli. To me, the advertised cedarwood is absent, and there's no discernible vanilla in the dry down like Eros. Anemic projection that can be cured by generous application that does not overwhelm those around you. Its inoffensive nature makes it an ideal companion for enclosed spaces like cars or airplanes.

Not really a 1:1 clone of Eros whatsoever, as others have pointed out this is way more powdery and has a "hazy" character to it. More importantly, I am writing this to alert that Blue Sapphire is EXACTLY same to Tharwa Silver from the same house and line. The latter is a little more herbal due to sage but that difference is minuscule and the overall scent is more or less the same stuff in 2 different bottles. I already own Tharwa so this is completely redundant to me, luckily this was just a tester. On its own, its a good scent who likes the DNA (with an added powdery touch to it) and should be good for a blind buy if you do not own anything like it. However, I would still suggest Tharwa over this owing to its better performance.

Basically Eros by Versace but with no vanilla notes. This fragrance is heavy on the patchouli and cedar wood notes at the base. On my skin it starts out somewhat fresh but dries down into a pleasant powdery note. It has great projection and lasts somewhere around 6 hours. For the price I would say it’s a great fragrance. It’s also very versatile, definitely can be both a day and nighttime scent, it’s fresh enough to use during the warmer seasons but powdery enough to use during the colder months.

This is basically lighter, marine version of Versace Eros with more aromatic components and mint is very prominent in this one, not so much the apple. Strong marine nots is what sets it apart from Eros line. Performance is average, but overspraying tends to fix that issue. Actually pretty nice scent, Interesting interpretation of Eros DNA. Not a direct clone, more like a franker. 7.5/10

Not bad at all, spicy, a bit gourmand... Got the 20ml plastic card sample bottle and this is one that can serve as a joker scent for the gym bag. Gets better after some maturation, initial blasts were not as good as after several months.

Poor silage. Poor projection. Very gentle on the nose. Everyday scent

#585 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Eros EDP? Similar. The strongest opening note is the sage, and though thankfully that's less overpowering in a few minutes, there's really not much of any interest in the dry down. Eros is not as fruity as the notes would have you think. Blue Sapphire less so. To tell the truth I've never shared the enthusiasm for Eros. It's boring and this 80% clone is of even less interest. Eros Flame is a way better scent. So while this is a safe scent there's not much to it, it won't draw any notice and you may as well go without a scent altogether.

I am not sure why I bought this. It's probably my least favourite perfume in my collection. To me it smells like baby powder, or something powdery with a little bit of spice. I actually liked it when I first got it but the more I smelled it I started to dislike it. Also people told me I smelled powdery. My personal rating is a 4/10. :(

Still finding best clone of eros but this one not even close to eros, very disappointing what a terrible suggestion from my community, there is nothing this is close to eros, lack of sweetness, do try it by yourself..

eros was my clubbing scent i used in my early twenties back in the 2010s so i know my eros. i don't get any similarities with this at all. this scent is just a powdery mess. thank god someone decided to buy it off me.

I'm disappointed. Opening is nice and fresh; then there's this floral base that Lattafa uses that stays on your skins and almost stinks. It's almost like a spit on skin smell. Nauseating in many ways. Unfortunate.

Nasty as f**k,way too much patchouli and mint in the opening, reminds of eros but don't buy it if you think it's a clone of eros,meh

I have well trained nose and please remove these notes about spicy. It is marine and fresh cologne 80s scent vibe in a good way. I disagree on any spices or woody tones. Its everyday, fresh cologne. What I like about it its a youth vibe I could feel it on a very young man age range up to 22-25 years old males.

What a butiful scent...its got that lemon vanilla combo freshness on the drydown ...its amazing...with patchuli creaminess..after 3 hours it becomes like vanilla icecream ..even if its not on the notes list its there..amazing.. enjoy

Blind Buy was a miss. Very powdery to my nose, smells similar to eros but powder dominant. Found the duration to be less than a work day as well.

It was really nice: brilliant, clean and sweet. An hour later it became sweeter. Its not like Eros Edt. Its unique. I love it 😍

Lets be honest, Eros without vanilla is not Eros at all.

Isn't Eros all about the vanilla?
