Eclaire Banoffi

I wanted a milkshake fun banana scent. I have Banana Foster by The Dua but it's got cinnamon, banana liqueur, caramel liqueur sauce and rum so it's very Christmasy and balsamic warm spicy not a carefree, light tropical banana vanilla scent. I had also sold my Demeter Banana Flambee as it grew too cloying for me with the cognac, and its oily consistency prolly made it more powdery as it macerated. Pistache Eclaire is too vanilla centered not much pistachio there for me (not bad tho) so I was worried that Banoffi would likewise be like Eclaire with a hint of banana in the opening. It's not like that. It's got a fun intense candy-like banana scent the first 30 mins that's reminiscent of the 90s banana ice cream I had as a kid, the one with the smiley face and some chocolate that it tasted and smelled like banana candy. It's not vanilla with some banana. It's a blast of this happy bright rich banana scent like a banana ice cream milkshake. Not heavy not too warm. No chocolate scent here. That's the vibe. The dulce de leche and whipped cream with the biscuit justify the fun ice cream lactonic scent, but truly the banana fruit scent is at the forefront which is what I wanted. The transition to the drydown is a rich banana cream scent like banana pudding and so gradually more decadent, warmer and vanilla-biscuit based but the vibrant banana scent shines through. The drydown shares the Eclaire DNA, the same type of warm honeyed, caramel sweetened-condensed-milk scent of Eclaire with the praline and vanilla in both, plus the dulce de leche acts as the caramel-milk blend found in Eclaire only it's not as warm. It is said that the dulce de leche fragrance note is an ultra-creamy, lactonic, and decadent gourmand note that replicates the rich scent of slow-cooked caramelized milk. True, however there's no burnt or smoky caramel scent here as it's usually the case with caramelized notes and dulce de leche, so I'm really happy bout that. Banoffi at the later drydown finds its main character as it becomes a lighter, more aromatic vanilla scent from the banana traces and the musk which gives it a sweet floral banana essence while retaining its lactonic creamy base and some of its honeyed caramel warm element. To wrap it up, from a fun candied banana ice cream scent it morphs into a warmer cozier caramel banana vanilla-biscuit scent like banana pudding and then it evolves into a tropical honeyed lactonic subtly floral musky skin scent with a banana undertone which is like the banana flower note scent of bbw Bahamas Passionfruit & Banana Flower. It's got that fresh banana starchiness to it within a floral-like aromatic quality, it even takes the scent of honeysuckle at times, so beautiful. That's my best way to describe this intoxicating scent. However this is a more gourmand, decadent, biscuit and ice cream based scent than that bbw mist. Overall I'm very pleased. It's got many facets and I love its stages. It's super gorgeous to me and exactly what I wanted. I don't own other Eclaires. To me this is the one that's truly worth it but I'm open to exploring the Pistache again, I just have too many amazing pistachio scents by The Dua and I have Tiramisu Caramel by Zimaya that's similar to Eclaire and slightly more balsamic. This is really well made. I'm glad I didn't listen to the bad reviews. The bottle makes me feel like a kid again.

Yum I really like this. When opened the box I felt like I was opening up a confectioners candy and found the Willy Wonka golden ticket because the top of box is gold foil and it gives luxury. The top notes are incredible. It smells like banana pudding 🍌 , 🍮 caramel and vanilla 🍦 with whipped cream. The drydown turns into a soft buttery biscuit skin scent and it's lovely and tropical. At first I don't like the smell of the lactonic biscuit note but when it dries down it settles very softly and isn't as lactonic. It's a summertime fragrance. I can see me wearing this to the beach in the early evening to watch the sun go down ☀️. It has creaminess to it but the projection /sillage is not very alluring yet. But I'm not totally disappointed . I really like it. The bottle is absolutely beautiful it's very heavy and very luxurious. If it sits 2 to 3 months it will be spectacular. My experience with Lattafa's Eclaire line went something like this: 1. Bought Eclaire Scented Spray from Burlington knowing it was the deodorant version of the OG Eclaire. Thought it was fetid and foul. 2. Tried the Pistachio. Ordered from Lattafa HQ. Found it choking, burnt chemical plastic smelling. 3. Tried OG Eclaire Parfum but the bottle I ordered online fell apart in my hands so it easily could have been a bootleg. It smelled as bad as I remembered anyway. 4. Today, bought the Banoffi on a wing and a prayer. And I love it. It does start off right out of the atomizer with an artificial banana note. This is awesome for me because it reminds me of those gummy marshmallow bananas with the sparkly sugar. Those are so yummy, and one of my favorite candies! It was nice not to be hit with either a) the literal alcohol, or b) an actual boozy note such as rum, quite as strongly as I am used to from this type of fragrance. Once the perfume dries down it leaves just the slightest tinge of banana, with mostly a creamy dessert accord. A banana pudding came to mind, with the vanilla pudding and buttery cinnamon cookies and the ripe bananas buried within...it's really delicious. I can't speak to the projection as I like to keep my perfumes close and my enemies closer, but the sillage and longevity are quite good as it has lasted at this point more than three hours. Any perfume whose scent lasts more than three hours, to me, is pretty good. I am thrilled there is no caramel note! Even though I love vanillas and gourmands, I really dislike caramel as a note I am finding so it's nice just to smell something light and fluffy with whipped cream. Delightful!

I think I'm not enough of a fragrance snob to understand why people don't seem to like this? I will admit I'm childish and love overly sweet edible gourmands. I dont want florals or musk with my gourmands, i just want cake. Banoffi is DELICIOUS. I can see the "synthetic" banana note that everyone else mentioned, but it's still yummyyyyyy. I can smell banana laffy taffy as much as I get authentic banana nut bread with this note. You can also smell bananas foster from this with the caramel or dulce de leche paired with the whipped cream. Just a sweet, yummy, warm scent but I was surprised when I sprayed this because I could swear it had some other note in it that smelled so familiar to me like I've smelled it in a candle or possibly another perfume from the 2000's and then it hit me...MARC JACOBS DAISY? i always thought there was a slight hint of banana in that, but it's something you'd catch for one second before it transfomed into something else. Banoffi has similar to that in it, idk how to explain it, maybe banana leaf? Something ever so slightly floral but its faint and takes a back seat to the sweetness. To address the longevity of this fragrance, I have had 0 issues with it. I went to a doctors appointment and the nurse who was walking me back to the room I was going to be examined in said "when i opened the door to call you back, i just KNEW it was you who smelled so good" and made me tell her what I was wearing and how I managed to get it to last so long. This was my first Lattafa purchase and I blind bought it. I was not expecting to like it as much as I do but I'm so happy with it and will be repurchasing when my bottle is empty.

I am currently on a major banana fragrance kick right now after sampling and buying banana rush by JHAG. It has caused an addiction to the banana note that has made me buy banoffi along with 4 other fragrances within the span of 2 months. I would say Banoffi is probably my favourite banana. Banana Rush is a close second if not tied, if only the banana note lasted longer. With banoffi, I can smell the banana note even in the dry down, which is something other banana perfumes can’t seem to accomplish. The fragrance starts out with a burst of banana candy and a juicy sweetness which quickly (within a couple of minutes) transforms into a more ripe banana with some of that eclair/bianco latte in the background. This fragrance is not dense like eclair and is a lot more airy and light. It is so addicting and the performance is pretty good. I’ve been wearing it every day, usually layered with Banana Rush, and get compliments a lot. People won’t think you smell like a walking banana but they will comment that you smell very good. I would say it lasts about 6 hours, but I get nose blind to it now because I wear it so much. I imagine the performance will get better over time like Eclair, but I also get whiffs of it the next day as well. If you want to smell like a banana cream pie or banana dessert, get this!

Banoffi arrived at my door just as I finished my review on Pistache! Thank you Eclaire gods 🥰 Firstly this is nothing like that putrid horror “Banana Bliss.” Not even a tiny little itty bit. Not at all. Stop relating them. People are literally just putting it in the ‘reminds me of’ section because its Banana. I don’t think ever in my 20 year fragrance career have I ever anticipated a fragrance release this much. I've dreamt of holding this Yellow diva in my hands since the sneak peaks we got at the end of the spring, it genuinely feels surreal to be in her presence. Banoffi is the Banana fragrance I have been waiting my whole life for....Lattafa really did their BIG ONE with these flankers. So perfectly artificial and synthetic, just the way I wanted. I want to smell like pure candied Banana, not blended with Ylang, not blended with other fruits, not blended with woods, Just PURE Banana; and this is it for me. Never, NOT ONCE has a release stood up to the expectation, but this is pure satisfaction to my soul. Thank you Lattafa for these incredible, fully fleshed out, and well developed Eclaire flankers. 😇

I bought this immediately upon launch because I'm always eager to find sweet banana notes in fragrances. When I first received it, and I first sprayed it, I was initially disappointed. I wasn't really sure how to take in the initial spray. It was sweet, synthetic, and a candy-like banana that faded very quickly. The opening never lasted more than a couple minutes, but the dry down was so lovely. Soft, smooth and sweet biscuity dry-down that lingered. I thought it was very very nice, but nothing outstanding. UNTIL... I would wear this out in public. I'm not even kidding for the first time in my life, I was getting complimented by customers AND coworkers at work throughout the day (8 hours). Mind you I work food service. The cooks in the food filled kitchen would smell me every time I walked in to drop off dishes. I brought it with me to a vacation, and I had strangers compliment my scent and ask me what I'm wearing multiple times. I emptied this perfume so quickly and I will be buying another before the weather cools down.

First impressions — the first few seconds of the opening remind me of a banana Laffy Taffy. Bear in mind that I say this as someone who actually loves banana Laffy Taffy. After that initial candy banana opening, it develops richer, vanillic, sweet, creamy facets that make it smell more along the lines of a banana pudding, or, as a previous reviewer mentioned, Nesquick banana milk. I've never had an actual banoffee dessert, so I can't say how true to the namesake this is, but it certainly reminds me of the banana desserts we have in my neck of the woods (southeastern US). It's a sweet, literal, gourmand that stands apart from the other dessert-y and Bianco-Latte-inspired gourmands that are so pervasive right now. Eclaire Banoffee makes me want dessert when I smell it. It's both surprised and delighted me, and I don't think I can ask much more of blind buy, especially at this price point. I like it!

I absolutely had to write a review after experiencing this. This was my first blind buy, but it was such an affordable price compared to my usuals. My first thoughts after spraying... i immediately smelled Banana moonpie. I know those aren’t for everyone, but those things are my one and true guilty pleasure. It was incredibly nostalgic and comforting. I didnt smell obnoxiously artificial banana like cloying candy.. but definitely cakey banana, identical to that first bite of moonpie. Then it settles into a creamy and dreamy vanilla, heavy and warm, definitely cozy and perfect for the cooler weather coming up. This vanilla im picking up is different from the sugary vanillas that i kept running into. Honestly, i cant stop smelling myself. There is a very soft skin scent/musk under the milky vanilla that is really comforting. I love this one.

I know the girlies are in the search for the perfect gourmand and not a lot of guys are into this or have the courage to try em’ As a man I have to say that this is a pleasant surprise. For, me it doesn’t smell that feminine, and it’s actually a very interesting scent profile , but u have to like at least the sweeter fragrances to be able to love this. Not as synthetic as I would have imagined, this not having that ,,iconic” alcoholic opening or burnt tire smell. Still, I wouldn’t say it’s a blind buy cuz that banana note is interesting but might not please everyone and everybody. In the first hour, that banana note is very proeminent, but after that, it turns into like a banana pastry and then into the iconic enclosure but more natural smelling and having that biscuit pastry vibe. Def worth a try and I hope this review helped:)

I ordered the bundle of these, the original Eclaire (because I ran out), this one and the Pistache which I was wanting to try the most! Surprisingly, this one became incredibly intoxicating to me when I wore it. I never expected this one to be my favorite but here we are lol! The banana smell in the beginning smells like banana runtz to me but then it becomes more rich and decadent right after. I first tested this on the back of my hand while testing the pistache everywhere else. While out doing errands this Banoffi on the back of my hand kept wafting while walking. I kept smelling it, over the pistache and the more I caught a whiff, the more I fell in love with it. I can see by the reviews that it isn’t for everyone, so I would suggest sampling it first.

Me encanta este perfume. Huele a una banana real y madura, dentro de un postre cremoso de banana, con leche, dulce de leche y notas de galletitas y crema. Es empalagoso, pero sigue siendo comible. Lo recomiendo para la noche. La potencia de su salida es solo momentanea, luego se va calmando y deja un aroma mas leve. Con menor estela pero no desaparece si lo buscas oler donde lo hayas aplicado. Es muy delicioso. Y lo que amo de este perfume es que es exactamete lo que dice ser, un banoffee de banana. No le encuentro nada que le quite protagonismo, ya sea alguna nota floral, especiada, ambarada, resinosa o con incienso. Aqui solo encontraras gourmand. Y si te gustan los perfumes que huelen a postre y encima a banana, te lo recomiendo 100%.

Eu ameeeei esse perfume! Vamos começar com o principal: ele é 8 ou 80, então recomendo usar com precaução. Pode causar dores de cabeça em pessoas mais sensíveis e definitivamente não é para todo mundo. Uma a duas borrifadas é o suficiente, não faça como eu e se empolgue a ponto de cheirar tal qual uma confeitaria ambulante (não que eu tenha achado ruim, rs, mas outras pessoas devem ter odiado). A maioria das pessoas relata um cheiro de banana, mas dependendo da sua percepção olfativa e da sua pele, você pode ficar e sentir mais cheiro do doce de leite do que o restante. Foi o meu caso - e talvez justamente por isso tenha amado tanto. Deu vontade de me morder.

absolutely love! banana milkshake is very spot on. i understand not everyone is a fan of banana as a fruit or a flavor, but this is pretty unique for being so simple. not many good banana fragrances out there and this is straight up just bananas and cream for me, nothing too complex beyond that and i appreciate the straight forwardness. i’m not a fan of eclaire or bianco latte and don’t understand the hype for either- neither genuinely smell like caramel or sweet gourmand because there’s just too much musk going on dulling it down. i think this one is so underrated compared to those two, but again, a lot of people just don’t appreciate banana

A Creamy Banana Dessert. Lattafa Eclaire Banoffi EDP is such a fun gourmand fragrance. The opening has a sweet banana and dulce de leche note that immediately reminds me of a creamy dessert. As it develops, the vanilla and whipped cream make it smoother and richer, while the praline and biscuit in the dry down add a warm bakery-like sweetness. It really feels like a cozy dessert scent.  I especially enjoy layering it with other gourmands like Lattafa Eclaire, Lattafa Eclaire Pistache, Zimaya Tiramisu Coco, Pink Blush and the White Cloud, to make the scent even richer. A great choice for anyone who loves sweet, creamy dessert fragrances.

It does definitely smell like a flanker of Eclaire. It has that same warm vanilla milky/creaminess to it, but obviously it also smells like banana pudding. I was disappointed at first, because I kept smelling artificial banana peel on some whiffs, but wearing this in colder weather I don't get much of that anymore, which I admit is a little weird because banana smells a bit tropical for the winter, but it's more gourmand that summer time so, I'll let it pass. It lasts and projects just as well as Eclaire, which of course is insanely well. This lasts well over 24 hrs and keeps it's sillage for the most part.

I have not tried the original Eclaire, so can not compare Eclaire Banoffee with the OG. But for me, Banoffee reminds me of the beach. It gives out tropical vibes. I think it reminds me of the beach because I associate the beach with tanners and sunscreen, and I’m sure I have tried before a banana scented one. I really like it! It’s sweet, but not extremely sweet (I mean, for my taste, there are sweeter fragrances out there). It stays on the skin a lot too! I sprayed it at 15:00 h, and I could still smell a lot of it at 23:00 h. I’m not sure about the sillage though. I’m glad to have it on my collection!

This fragrance was love at first sniff! The opening is a delicious banana-dessert vibe (think a banana crêpe without the chocolate). But the dry down.. DAMN!! It turns into this creamy, fluffy banana whipped cream goodness. Cozy, comforting and irresistibly smooth. It is very banana forward, so if you enjoy gourmand banana scents, you’re going to absolutely love this. I didn't like Eclaire original at all, it was plasticy, diesely, synthetic, like burnt rubber literally.. but this is nothing like that! Not at all! This one's really smooth and I cant wait to try Eclaire Pistache now.

Banana milk shake, yes. But a little banana runtz-y at first spray. I also get some florals and coconut in the opening but it’s not listed. The first maybe 15-20 mins can be harsh bc it’s like a blast of banana. But once that dies down it becomes DIVINE. COLD whipped cream, banana and caramel on the dry down. I’m not mad at the artificialness but I can see many people would be. But for me it’s worth for the dry down. Performance is pretty good. Can’t believe this is my fav eclaire bc it’s so off putting and not my vibe at all but the dry down is literally addicting.

This scent is absolutely scrumptious 🍌🍮🍌. It's so creamy and lasts on my skin all day. It's definitely a dessert -gourmand fragrance. On me it's Banana pie drenched in thick gooey caramel with vanilla ice cream and lots of fluffy whipped 🍦 cream. It's decedent and phenomenal. Way better than Eclair in my opinion. The bottle is absolutely amazing. 💛 This will always be in my rotation. I have fragrances that are way more costly that don't have the quality of this. People say it smells like runtz candy but this perfume is much more creamy and complex.

I love this perfume. It's the DNA of Eclaire with a banana twist and none of eclaire's harsh opening. Very sweet, playful, summer frgrance. The only problem I have with this is that it does not project or last even half as much as the og eclaire on skin or clothes. Maybe it'll become better with time. But so far... Edit***9/10/2025 Okayyy Lemme tell yall that this perfume's longevity changed. I'm soo happy. It lasts long now, and projects well too. Had people complimenting and shii. 😩🤭🤭 Sooo happy with this purchase.

Je viens d’acheter ce parfum, pleine d’enthousiasme et emballée pour cette grande gourmandise régressive je me suis allègrement sprayee une bonne 15aines de fois. 5 heures plus tard , une collègue passe à bien 2metres de moi et dit “ça sent la noix de coco”, un autre collègue vérifie et dit : “oui ça sent qqchose , ça sent la vanille”, puis quelques instants plus tard “en fait ça sent la gaufrette” 😂😂 bon je prends ça pour un compliment! En tout cas ça projette bien donc

This is my favorite perfume that I have bought this year. This smells so good. It was love at first spray. This banana isn't too artificial, it's somewhere in between. It reminds me of banana cream pie slightly; it isn't completely that. I think Banoffi is stronger than Pistache. I hope they continue with the Eclaire line. To me Banoffi doesn't smell cheap at all. I think this is an elegant gourmand. For me I don't need this to macerate, I think it's perfect as is.

Don’t expect much from banana note, as the opening smells synthetic (reminded me of a kids shampoo with banana flavouring) , but not a disgusting synthetic...it’s just not a real freshly peeled banana. The real “magic” happens when it dries down...it becomes milky (very prominent milk note) with banana choc chip cookie. So, if you’re an eclair lover , gourmand perfume lover - go and get it! I have high hopes it will become even better after macerating.

this is one of thee best gourmands imo!!!! you have to like banana to be a fan of this... it reminds me of a fresh baked banana cake topped with the banana laffy taffy candy... the banana is the star of course but the sweet vanilla and dulce de leche makes it pop even more!!! im a gourmand girlie and this is by far my favorite gouramand in my collection!!! the best eclaire imo... the other eclaires dont stand a chance compared to this one😁

Wow! Smells the same as a banoffee cake/ pudding, esp in the opening 😋 As it dries down, it starts smelling more like a creamy banana milkshake. Hopefully with time it will get even better. I much prefer this over Banana Bliss by Paris Corner. As the scent develops on my skin, the banana starts to fade and I get a similar smell of the og eclaire. If you don’t like banana, I still recommend you try this.

Tried this one on my hand at the store and after 5 washes it is STILL impregnated into my skin. It is very sweet, it smells a lot like banana and dulce de leche—mostly banana—and it smells nothing like the original “Eclaire,” it’s just a really good gourmand and photorealistic perfume. It can be VERY cloying for what it is though but I still can’t help myself but love it

Banoffi is a super fun banana banger! Banana, vanilla, and musk sit up front and stay pretty linear throughout the entire journey, which is fine by me. I didn’t get much of the lactonic milk vibes; however, there’s definitely a floral, narcotic ylang-ylang note happening here, which I found pleasing. It’s very sweet. Three sprays and 12 hours later I can still smell it.

A truly delicious, milky creamy banana Nesquik dissolved in hot milk. No screechy notes, just milk like an Asian dessert or banana mochi, baby- like cloud of fluff. It makes me crave a creamy dessert or ice cream 🍨 I want my bubble tea to smell and taste like that - no artificial or screechy notes, just pure fluff. But as a perfume it’s a no for me, already sold mine.

Es un perfume riquisisímo, dulce, el aroma a plátano es medianamente suave y se mezcla con el dulzor del dulce de leche, la crema batida y la galleta. Sin duda con este perfume te van a querer comer. No tiene flores entre sus notas pero sin duda las percibo sutilmente. Recomendado si te gustan los aromas gourmand.

This is a very realistic bubble gummy, babana pie smell. Don't get me wrong, it smells delicious but it is a very heavy very sticky sweet perfume. If you are not intending to suffocate yourself and people around you, don't sprey heavily. Be gentle. On skin it lasts at least 7 hours but on clothing it's eternal.

The first half an hour it was a realistic banana milkshake smell. After that, vanilla and milk combined with that burnt rubber that doesn't seem to go away. Not bad, but this burnt rubber stands out, while the milk and vanilla are muted in the background. Banana is gone by now, 40 minutes or so.

Probably one of the best banana gourmands available rn. But idk if I become quickly anosmic or it hasn’t macerated yet or it’s my skin chemistry, but it just doesn’t last at all on me. Oh well, I’ll still wear it for how comforting and affordable it is, but it’ll def require overspraying.

First spray smells like Banana Foams and then to me it smells like an unripe banana peel. However this needs to sit because it disappears in SECONDS and you have to stick your nose to your hand to smell it. Will update in a few weeks so far there is no performance for my bottle.

When I first sprayed it, I thought wow, they really bottled Curious George’s farts. It was violent banana candy for about 10 seconds after the initial spray. But once that passes it is beautiful. It has the OG Eclaire DNA with this delicious banana undercurrent. I’m obsessed.

For the first sprey i smelled like a sweet banana candy and then the dulce de leche comes in and it smells some kind of way like eclaire but more fruity and soft? But remind me of some childhood sweets! Smells very childish and last long! Reccomend!

I’ve been wearing Banoffi for the last two days. She sparkles and dances in the cooler weather. Similar to Viva La Juicy Gold Couture with banana added. Longevity is amazing but I do find myself re spraying to get the intense banana at the front.

I love this perfume. Not quite food level gourmand I get a cookie and banana bread note as well as whipped banana cream. I get scent of Ylang-Ylang im assuming is the banana accord. The musk is smooth I guess a year helped smooth it out.

it was a blind buy and oh my god... it’s great. smells like nostalgia. You can def feel the banana and chocolate, not sure about the toffee and dulce de leche smell. I’m very happy with the purchase. It’s not so similar to the og eclaire

love love love this perfume it was a blind buy but it turned out to be my most complimented perfume, it is really sweet, at first you smell the banana but as the perfume stays on the skin it smells like a warm sweet biscuit.

This is one of the best perfumes I've ever smelt in my life. I would DEVOUR this shit if I could. I never thought I would be a signature scent kind of girl, but I've struggled to put this down since the second I smelled it

Was doubting this one cause everyone says something different. And just bought a sample and man i love this stuff. And for me just a pure Banana milkshake which i really love to smell. So ordered a big bottle right away

I was scared of the banananote, but hey. It's a wonderful fragrance, it's so sweet and fluffy. It smells like a Swedish candy called Banana Skids, banana and toffee! Yummy! A perfect gourmand fruity fragrance ^^

Now this is one genius, exquisite and groundbreaking gourmand scent. Smells like straight up banana milkshake and I’m obsessed. Yes it could have better lasting power but it’s still totally worth it’s price.

This is a very thick creamy banana. It’s baked but not warm. Realistic but not a fresh banana. More like a pudding. Very creamy and thick but I still think it’s best for the day. The longevity is very nice.

I’m surprised noone compared it to sunscreen yet lol. I don’t dislike it but once the artificial banana smell fades all i can think of is sunscreen so this is automatically a summer scent for me

This smells exactly like banana boat tanning oil to me - at least from memory anyway. An absolute love! So to me, this reminds me of summer instead of fall/winter.

This is a fluffy fragrance with a banana touch. I love love this perfume & I can still smell it the day after, highly recommend unless you don’t like bananas

A very photorealistic banana candy, with a back scent of burnt caramel. Tbh, after the year 2025 was? I really need to smell like a banana rn.
