Hayaati Gold Elixir

I've only worn this three times since i got it back in winter and left it to mature as it was sharp and chemical heavy on first use. Its faded and mellowed into a really decent unisex light pineapple with creamy smoky vanilla and a touch of subtle spicy leather combo. Projection and longevity are only average but thats not so bad for the low price point. Its definitely in the ballpark of the Paco Rabanne One Million DNA, but it's slick and light and not screechy. Its got a smooth vanilla and amber, darkened by a touch of leather and spice and lifted by some delicious citrus fruit without the unwanted sharpness of a lot of citrus scents. It doesn't do much, its not a complex or multi dimensional scent, its simple and linear and always pleasantly easy going. I really like this, though its nothing sparklingly original or awe inspiring. I would call it unisex and would find it just as good on a woman as it is on myself. Its just a scent that works, with nothing to dislike about it. I recommend leaving it for a minimum of 3 months or so to let it steep/mature. Its a good one for work or just heading up the shops/gym/post shower morning etc but I wouldn't wear it on my wedding day. I'm sick to death of vanilla and there's just an overload of it in just about everything these days...but this particular one works nice and i recommend it, especially for the budget friendly pricetag. 8/10 for me

I got a 5ml decant for this and I will be buying the full bottle soon! Im a fan of strong amber and musky scents that leans into masculine scent. This smells very amberish, leathery and bergamot to me. A beast mode fragrance as it projects well and has very good sillage. You can be smelled from afar. Consider yourself warned that it is a more of a men perfume but woman can wear it too if you're going for a non-floral perfume like me. A friend commented that this smells like Mancera's Royal Vanille. They do share almost the same base notes except that Mancera is much more warmer and stronger in its vanilla scent. The vanilla in this perfume is almost non-existent thankfully as I don't like to smell too sweet. The dry down of both are almost the same! But i'm loving Hayaati Gold Elixir more as i got the chance to compare both scents on my skin (sprayed on each wrist). My new favourite!!

Gold Elixir was a pleasantly welcomed surprise to the Hayaati collection. I don't know why it is not mentioned more, considering it's price and blend for the buck. The opening falls on the sweet side of citrus, but tones down to a leathery, peachy bliss. The saffron does find its way to the forefront in a nice way and the amber, though subtle, adds quality to it's vanilla favoring drydown. The performance is not as wonderful as one may desire, but I have experienced far worse at a much higher cost. It lasts for a modest 4-6 hours on my skin, but I have no problem reapplying if needed. It yields a moderate sillage, but is no master of projection. I don't know if it's supposed to be a clone of anything, but for me, it's a new scent profile that will be enjoyed for as long as it is available. This was a great find and I really like it~

This might be a leather forward scent, but I think it's one that you can wear year-round day or night and to any occasion. The top note is pretty standard citrus before getting to the heart of this fragrance which is leather. Very affordable for average performance. I got an interesting scent memory from this. Walk with me... you enter a modern barbershop and see a very long line of expensive plush leather chairs with guys getting their haircuts. It's finally your turn, and you get your haircut. At the end, the barber takes that wet wipe and sprays it with an alcohol-based spray before applying it to the back of your neck and around the hairline. It burns ever so slightly but smells clean, fresh and slightly sweet. For the rest of the day, nobody can tell you nothing! This is Hayaati Gold Elixir.

I really love it! I get the citrus, amber, vanilla and muskiness along with some powder notes. Luckily, the leather is not harsh! Man, I saw this at Burlington a few mos back and it was only $20 to $30, big regret! Haven’t seen it since! Luckily, the leather is not loud, it purrs, but doesn’t bite. I get a little peach, thank god there is no rubber or gasoline smell. I think I can get that from peach and leather on my skin. I think I need a full bottle, but be advised, I do not know how old this sample was, it may be well matured. The dry down is leaning slightly masculine, but I think the powdery notes keep it from veering too far into manliness for me. I think this is totally a hidden gem especially for the price.
