Khalta Blend Of Lattafa

This is my first foray into rose fragrances as a male, and I am hooked and already looking for others with a similar rose note. It opens up with a smokey, slightly spicy tart rose accord that projects loudly for roughly 1–2 hours on me, then dies down to an intimate tart rose scent that's neither sweet nor tart for the next 2ish hours. Then it becomes this extremely masculine woody/leathery skin scent on my skin that is intoxicating to me that makes me want to keep smelling myself (haha). This scent alone has turned me away from the freshy summer scents to try and broaden my horizons to try and find that one scent that is unique for me for the summer. I've been wearing this in the Souther USA Heat and the scent is not cloying nor does it die out superfast. I'd say this is the perfect scent for the gentlemen that aren't scared to wear something different that isn't soapy or hyper feminine.

One of the most beautiful rose fragrances I have ever tasted, in harmonious coexistence with soft vanilla, incense and sandalwood. Shortly afterwards, the scent of orange blossom appears to cool this creamy blend that stars a lovely rose throughout the evolution of the fragrance. Subtle doses of cinnamon and oud balance the whole composition. The duration of the fragrance ranges between 6 and 8 hours, with at least 3 sprays, with the first few hours to be quite intense but later it tones down. On my clothes it smells great for many days. I find the bottle beautiful and the atomizer is pretty good. It is my second perfume from Lattafa and I am really impressed by the composition and the quality of it! If you love rose, incense and sandalwood give Khalta, Blend of Lattafa a try! Rating: 8 out of 10

Delicious aromatic saffron with bergamot, rose, smoky oud and a little leather. I can never quite place what this smells like as it's skillfully blended with so many notes, it's like an aromatic treat, only if you concentrate can you discern the notes. Above all it smells really expensive in the way that Ombre Nomad does, it's crazy value for money and very underrated. It's versatile, unisex, both day and night except in very hot days. Fresh enough to wear and feel fresh right after a shower and it dries down to a sweeter vanillic amber oud. It's one of my favourite fragrances and layers very well with rose or vanilla scents. This says extrait and I can believe it, it's stronger than most of my EDPs

Stunned by this one, truly. I noticed it on the shelf at Burlington, and for $20 I figured I'd give it a try. Beautiful right out of the box. Huge blast of saffron and lavender off the top. The leather is immediately present, as is the smoky sweetness of the incense. Then the Rose shines through. It's not a sweet or cloying rose scent. It's definitely on the spicy side, but it surprised me with how well-blended and smooth it is. I can see this not being everyone's cup of tea, but in my opinion it's a gem.

Finally... this gem has been added to Fragrantica. It's a heavenly scent that isn't talked about much. Notes above aside, it opens up with a boozy tart apple accord, then transitions into a classy spicy floral woody amber scent. It's unisex and works year round except for hot summer days. Performance is great! Lasts on my skin for around 8 hours (even longer on clothes) and projects quite nicely. I tried around 80 Lattafa fragrances so far and this one has to be in my top 10.

just got a 2023 patch of this I guess nobody talks about it though it feels like a steal for this price -beautiful rosey note -great performance -less oud than I thought but am sure a lot of people will prefer it this way -low versatility which is not surprising for this scent profile it's a night time fragrance maybe u can get away with spraying it in cold days -definitely unisex I don't think it feminine leaning

Gorgeous! Strong, bold, long-lasting dark rose with incense, spices and soft leather. The bottle is a bit on the cheap side and the sprayer isn't the greatest... I have some Lattafa Perfumes that have some luxe bottles and boxes, but for me, I feel this is an amazing perfume at an amazing price! On my skin and to my nose it smells expensive, luxurious and rich. I really like this one.

I was looking for a good incense based fragrance and this exceeded my expectations. Absolutely gorgeous scent that lasts quite a while. Edit: this is the strongest perfume I own. Masturbation has only made it much much stronger and now it lasts 12+ hours with monstrous projection, two sprays is more then enough.

This one gets better with maturation. Its similar to Grand soir/Eternal Oud but with a prominent rose note added. Nice ambery vanillic scent with prominent rose that sets it apart. Will be unique in your collection. Some will not like the added rose but I am a fan. Under the radar Lattafa offering.

A good masculine leaning rose fragrance. Has great performance. I definitely pickup the cinnamon. For the price it's one of the better hidden lattafa's out there. 8.5/10.

I've had this for some months now and man is it strong. Maceration definitely helped this.

Something about the dry down of this reminds me of Gucci Guilty Elixer.

I've been waiting for a while for this fragrance to be listed on here. I wanted to keep testing it to get the full feel of this complex Fragrance. I really feel like, If you like Fragrances like Swiss Arabians - Shaghaf Oud Abiyad, or Sarah Jessica Parker's - Stash Elixir, then I think you will also really enjoy this. This is listed as unisex, but this definitely leans WAAAY more masculine, I can't stress that enough. ( It's due to the lack of fruitness and sweetness) If You're worried about this somehow being too feminine, I can assure you, it is not. This is by far one of the more complex Fragrances by lattafa. It's leathery, and it's herby. It's not sweet or fruity (I get very little to no vanilla whatsoever) This is rather smokey too. It's floral in a very masculine/green type of way. The spices here are not gourmand in anyway, they are dry and aromatic. This totally has a barbershop/after shave sorta feel. This is a very AROMATIC fragrance. In the air, it's absolutely incredible. In my opinion, this fragrance could work for any season depending on the amount of sprays you use, and the notes used in this. It's green, it's woody, it's smokey, it's leathery, it's aromatic, it's spicy, it's incensey, it's fresh, etc. It's got a great balance of almost everything! The wear time is really, really great, it's quite the projector. It goes strong for 6 hours EASY. On clothes, it lasts for days. This is so different compared to sooo many lattafa fragrances, it doesn't smell like any other one that I own by them (I own 20+ by lattafa). I know lattafa can get repetitive. This is, in my opinion, a man's man fragrance! If you want to stand out and be different, then choose this! This is not full bottle worthy for ME, but that is ONLY because I want something more fruity and sweet. But if you're a guy, who wants a SOLID middle eastern fragrance, than this is for you! This is truly a fantastic fragrance for a man. It's so well done, and seriously slept on.

A perfume from the MFK Oud Satin Mood area. A very pleasant spicy rose, on a woody base, with the smell of rose stem, next to a light breeze of oud. Not bad at all, but for me, a very flat one with no personality. Very good longevity (8-10h), but the projection is average, just for the wearer. A unisex fragrance dedicated clearly only to a mature audience. What makes me keep it is the packaging. The bottle is absolutely wonderful, like a childhood toy that you can not leave out of hand. For me, it is hard to make a final decision on this fragrance. Easy to forget, but always coming back with a pleasant memory.

I like it right away. Then I can’t stand the sharpness of the heart. The dry-down is very pleasant. I wonder if I let time pass and became familiar with it whether I could forgive the middle-wear of it. It feels great for Fall and Winter. The incense with the rose is still a little bitter to me instead of cozy or smoky. Reminds me of Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud, but that one is more pleasant for the praline. For what it’s worth, I don’t get Side Effect. If anything, Side Effect is hiding among many other notes. The two do not remind me of each other.

Another blind buy - I really should stop doing this! Discovered this in a draw when looking for another bottle, so not sure when I bought this, but decided to give it a try. On first spray, I was really impressed, but after a couple of hours, it has disappeared into a barely noticeable skin scent. Real shame, as I had high hopes.

A Blindbuy for me. Its good. The rose in this fragrance is sweet almost boozy and the cinnamon makes it even better. Very well blended. I do get a lil bit of Side Effect but with its own twist. Received many compliments on this one. Performance is good too. A very underrated Lattafa fragrance. A 7/10 for me

Great fragrance for the price. Unfortunately I only get the incense note and little bit of a sweet cinnamon note. It’s currently macerating which I’m hoping can bring out some of the other notes. Overall decent fragrance with average performance. 6.5/10

Its a known scent with a little twist, In the realm of ombre nomad, definitely compliment getter and a beast mode fragrance

This is super feminine. It smells like something my mom or grandma's wear.

I recently ordered this fragrance because I discovered it’s almost an exact replica of an old favorite of mine. Well... what a huge disappointment. On first spray, it perfectly captures the saffron-spicy notes, but as it macerates on the skin, it dries down into a very cheap rose-patchouli mess. Completely disheartening. The rose note smells so cheap and tacky that it’s more like a citronellol mosquito repellent than a real rose. I’m really disappointed because I didn’t keep a single milliliter of Dolce & Gabbana’s Mysterious Night, and I miss it so much. That was the only wearable saffron fragrance for me, spiced up with a touch of rose, that I could actually enjoy—especially compared to today’s “nice” or Middle Eastern dupes, where these notes come across as far too loud and unwearable. I’m going to give this one some time to macerate. If it doesn’t improve, unfortunately, it’ll have to go.

I really wanted to love this one. Directly from the nozzle, it’s a beautiful blend of sweet rose and warm spice. But once it hits the skin, the 'blend' becomes a bit chaotic. An earthy, white-floral middle gives way to a dry down dominated by a rubbery, latex-like oud - when paired with the florals, it feels dissonant. It masks the rose I was looking for, creating an accord that feels more 'synthetic' than 'oriental.' It’s an interesting olfactory experience, but not the rose-forward fragrance I was hoping to keep. As a note, the reviewer that made the association with "Auto Zone" - wow. That is eerily accurate. Thank you!

Wore this atrocity to work. I loved how it smelled in the bottle (the spray nozzle). On me it smelled like an old foggy uncle's aftershave from the 70s. (Aqua velva brittish sterling era. 🤮🤢 Nasty) Sprayed it on myhunkband and it smelled nice on him. I'm gonna say this is def masculine. I'm a woman, almost 60. I love smoky notes. Jazz club, Santal 33, smoking hot by Killian, baby cat, rifaaqat, by the fireplace, etc. This is NOT in my rhelm of enjoyment, not on me, anyway.

On dry down this is masculine rosey leather that sticks with you for quite some time. I ordered this because I'm on the look out for a reasonably priced incense scent, but I'm really hard pressed to find any sort of incense or smokey accords in this. I'll give it a couple of months to macerate even though I don't really have high hopes for it.

I recently purchased this gem. I found it at a respectable price at my local rack store. Definitely a blind buy just like every lattafa fragrance, so I'm never upset about if the frag is not to my liking. Anyways this beauty is straight Gas, as in it smells like gas. At first smell i took in the notes of.... who gives a shit, it smelled like shit. And just to make sure my mind wasnt playing tricks on me, i inlisted to nose my homie. After a quick sniff my homegirl told me I smelled like a used burnt dildo. So for now this frag will be known as the Burning Dildo... Thank You Khalta Blend

Here's another one that's just going to sit. For a man, it's just too floral. That rose smells terrible. Rubbery, synthetic, and almost like a burning smell. I've tried a few cheap rose colognes and this one is another stinker, probably the worst one of all. The smell reminded me of something and it took a while to figure it out - if you have ever been in the belts and hoses section of an auto parts store, that's the smell.

@bulkenox incense you say? Have you tried Afnan Supremacy Incense or Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud Abiyad? They are both Interlude clones and are all resiny balsamic smoky incense. If that's too much perfume for you try Hala by Lattafa. It's a wonderful cedar/incense and slightly understated for a milder experience than interlude clones. Good hunting! My bottle still need some time to mature but right off the bar I get a really sweet rose. It's different than other rose notes Ive smelled as it's almost a rose candy type smell? It's kind of weird, but I don't hate it.

This is half way between badee al oud amethyst and side effect. And it is an absolute star performer. Its been out a few years now and is really underrated
