Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends

I just picked this one up blindly and I have zero regrets. I can however see this one throwing off some people, not me though, let me clear about that. Imagine this...You’re on vacation on a tropical island somewhere, with a sombrero hat on, suntan lotion lathered up on you, sunglasses, and drinking coconut juice from a straw. That’s what this reminds me of. I was SHOCKED that there wasn’t any coconut in here, not that it smelled only like coconut, but the spices, nutmeg, and cloves give off that illusion in the mid. Luckily for this cologne the opening is quite exceptional and you get a nice fruity spicy blast. The performance is exceptional on my skin too. I sprayed this stuff at around 10:30am and it’s now almost 4:30pm and it’s only now turned to a skin scent. In some ways this reminds me of a coconut suntan lotion, but a fruitier version of that. For an Middle Eastern cologne, I’m a little surprised we’ve gotten something that is usually not associated with the Middle East, but rather a holiday in the tropics. Honestly, this is probably one of my favourite scents from the house so far, and it’s a pleasant departure from the typical Lattafa Raghba colognes with that typical Raghba DNA, you know the ones I’m taking about too..Vanilla, oud, sugar.. This isn’t that. I’d also like to add that this is Unisex and definitely leans feminine. The silage is nuclear too, a couple of sprays drowned me out in my bathroom, and I’ve had people compliment my smell at my grocery store telling me they could smell me from the beginning of the isle, and this is during my Covid-19 lockdown where everyone is still wearing masks, they said I smelled like a vacation. This is definitely for summer wearing. It’s a pretty exceptional and unique cologne that can go either way for both woman and man. I tend to be a little bit more open minded though with my fragrances, and like I said, I wouldn’t be surprised if this one throws some people off, especially if they buy it blindly. The way Lattafa used the fruits, apple, musk, and amber in this one is quite unique. 9/10 from me..

APPLE/PINEAPPLE-CINNAMON TURNOVER . This took me awhile to figure out, but I've gone back and tested it again and I see what other reviewers are describing with getting a fruity/apple/pineapple pie scent. It doesn't smell like a regular apple pie, but a different sort of apple-pie. This apple pie is supercharged - the late night drive-thru kind: super glossy gel with apple-enhanced apple that leans to sweeter fruits with cinnamon and apple-pie-spice, deep-fried in vanillic pastry and dusted with cinnamon-sugar. This dries down a lot like Layton Parfums de Marly & Detour Noir Al Haramain, but doesn't have the aromatic opening. I had originally thought this was more like Erba Pura Xerjoff & Amber Oud Gold Edition, however as I test them side by side now, Khaltaat is way spicier with a near-cinnamon & apple-pie-spice vibe. It also lacks the fresh and tropical vibe of Erba Pura. Contrast to Layton Parfums de Marly: This is probably inspired by Layton, with good approximation with a twist being the openings are different. As they dry down they become more and more similar. Both have excellent performance. Contrast to Detour Noir Al Haramain: These are different, but they dry down very similarly with a supercharged apple-pie vibe. Detour Noir is closer throughout to Layton and leans slightly more masculine in the edgy opening. Both have excellent performance. Contrast to Amber Oud Gold Ed. Al Haramain: These are different, but there are similarities with tart, sweet fruity notes. Amber Oud Gold Ed. is inspired by Erba Pura and has a fresher, tropical quality without spice, and a faint creamy/bubblegum vibe in the background. Both have excellent performance. Overall: beautiful, gourmand-ish supercharged apple-pie scent with excellent performance. It's a love for me Enjoy!

I learnt this has been discontinued and that breaks my heart! It smells exotic and absolutely stunning. I have nothing like it in my collection. It smells like liquid gold to me. Although the longevity wasn't amazing, I loved how I felt when I smelled it on me and that's enough for me with many of my fragrances. This needs to come back either better or I'd do having the same formula made available again. I know people perceive scents differently and many people have given it mixed reviews, or even said it smells suntan lotion like due to coconut. But to me it smells like luxury. If anyone knows an exact dupe or if it's being sold in another name with a rebrand, can they let me know? Update - I tried a sample of BAO H&G to compare as it's listed as the closest dupe by Frgrantica community. To me it's about 50-60% similar to this on top, and the dry down, I'll say about 80% similar. But I'd still buy Royal Blends if it comes back in my country. It has a certain luxurious appeal that's lacking in H&G. Though both are in the same vein. H&G is a bit too in-your-face fruity pineapple. While Royal Blends, like the name, is much more well rounded and "royal" smelling. I think it's the creaminess from coconut that's missing in H&G. And H&G is a tad more spicy (cloves?) in the dry down. Had it been creamier I'd have loved it more. But if Royal Belnds doesn't come back I'll buy H&G as a back up and maybe add a sweeter perfume like Qissa Delicious to it. Let's see.

This one COMPLETELY caught me by supprise!! I was not expecting this to be so good! Ok to start, I'm a huge fan of Lattafa's fragrances, and especially anything middle eastern. I was curious about this for a long time, and finally bit the bullet because the price was just so good! This is like, an exotic apple pie! (With some added fruits) You definitely get every single note listed. It's fruity, it's sweet, it's spiced, it's absolutely GORGEOUS! The fragrance stays mostly the same throughout the entire duration. Even though it is not listed, I definitely pick up on a coconut note! But it blends in this BEAUTIFULLY! Also, if you're not a fan of oud, the oud is pretty much minimal/not existent in this fragrance. So that's worth mentioning. This to me, doesn't smell THAT middle eastern. Also, I was not expecting this to get any compliments! The very first day I wore it out, I had four compliments in one hour alone. So this must be one that people really seem to enjoy. Staying power is definitely above average. And It will definitely leave a scent trail as well. To note, in my opinion, even though it's listed as unisex it DEFINITELY LEANS MORE FEMININE because of the sweet fruits, the amber, and the very mild woody notes. If you're looking for a masculine fragrance, this definitely won't be the one. As for seasons, anything but summer will really work for this, in my opinion. But it's especially nice on a windy day :) This is an absolute GEM!

This is ridiculously good. And not just for the price either. It's just a really good fragrance. I am getting a ripe pineapple - juicy but not too juicy, and sweet but not cloyingly sweet - and it's also nuaced with the spices and woodsy base too. This seems to be pretty linear, but that's ok because it smells this good! It does remind me a lot of Lattafa's other fragrance 'Honor & Glory', but not exact dupes. I love both and I'm happy to have both. So if you enjoy 1 you will almost definitely enjoy the other. The projection isn't crazy beast-mode but it is substantial, and the projection actually lasts for quite a while during the wear. I am eager to see if and how this one macerates because it is already so good. One of the best cheapest buys I've found. $16!??? Are you kidding me!? And people go gaga over watered down Zara fragrances that are more than double that... Now I love my Zaras but some of their perfumes are just not worth the price when I can find gems like this from a Middle Easten brand. And my collection of M.E. gems keeps growing... also, this is a more niche-quality scent vs designer. I don't know what took me so long to pick this up, I guess I was nervous about it being a boring girly fruity fragrance (I am a female*) but this is not your "typical fruity perfume". It isn't too "on the nose"**... Well worth the $16!

This is the actual note breakdown (the one here is incorrect, idk where it got taken from): Top Notes - Cinnamon, Pineapple. Middle Notes – Vanilla, Balsam Base Notes - Amber, Patchouli, and Coumarin Honestly, i do still get a green apple note in the top notes. I suppose pineapple also fits the bill. There is kind of a vaguely tropical coconutty vibe here as well that isn't covered at all in the note breakdown. The spices are generally well rounded and pleasant in this composition. There's also something here that makes me think of tobacco. The spices, amber and balsam notes probably. This scent teeters on the edge of gourmand but doesn't fully take that leap. There's something that keeps this from smelling like straight up apple pie. I do detect that apple pie vibe but it doesn't fully describe this fragrance. Overall this perfume is fantastic. Nice presentation, niche-smelling but not too challenging of a wear, great price point, performs quite well with just 4 sprays on my torso. I think it's more ideal for colder weather. I can see it getting cloying in summer. I'd say this is unisex, but it appears people here seem to think it also leans masculine or feminine. It really depends if the note breakdown appeals to you. In my opinion anyone can wear this.

Finally, this gem got into Fragantica. I was wondering when it ever will. When you first receive this, of course like most new perfume bottles, the smell doesn’t do justice. It’s nothing like how it actually smells. Spritz a few sprays and in a few days this gem will warm up to you. What does it smell like? A SHARP GOURMAND GOLD A GOLDEN APPLE/PEACH PIE Yes, there’s no other way best to describe it. Imagine a freshly baked apple/peach pie on a (golden) pan just got out from the oven. The scent of the warm crust lingers (is that vanilla?) as you cut the pie, the baked (very) spiced apple+peach sharply enters your nose together with that warmth of the crust. It smells like a classy home. A golden apple peach pie. My husband stole this perfume from me. He said it’s his now and he wears it! I remember wearing it to the mall and a sales girl (with a mask on) said “what is this delicious smell?” as I passed by. I pretended not to hear it lol. Definitely UNISEX.

Recently I decided to "go for" some Arabic parfumes, so I started with Ard al Zaafaran than I stepped into Lattafa. Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends to me opens like a ball of mixed fruit salad with a lot of pineapple and strawberries. Pretty sweet I can say. Than, after a half an hour or so, everything blends and a lot of amber pops up(and some vanilla but very slightly) .It somehow reminds me of Cashmir by Chopard and/or Terracotta - Guerlain but less powdery. It is balanced but I think it suits more to a cold season. The silage is not huge. The longevity on my skin is up to 6 hrs. Said all this, it's a pretty good product on an affordable price (around 12-15 € for 100 ml). P. S. I'd like to add, in its favor, that I sprayed my wrist in the evening and the next morning it was still there,The drydown is exactly Lamsa Gold (parfum oil) - AL Haramain

Its just like Apple plum mixed with vanilla , amber and little bit spices just perfect ....i just love how it Smells , having so many perfumes in my collection bt every other day i couldn't resist myself from picking this bottle ...for me its a perfect spring fragrance n could be wear even in summers bt not in deadly summers ..perfect unisex n infact i would love love to smell this on a guy by this i mean to say that u will be appreciated for ur choice no matter which gender u belong 😉 For me sillage is moderate n projection is about for 40 min and for longitivity is about for 5 to 6hrs .. I mean what r u waiting for just grab this one .i got this for under $20 in india .. By using this i feel like i want to buy now their another one which is silver in clr 😍

Got this because of the hype, was dubious in case it was giving THAT lattafa accord/note (you know the one 🤢) plus I find fruity fragrances very hit or miss, especially from this house. Glad to report this is a straight love for me, right out the bottle! It’s a spiced pineapple & peach pie with shortcrust pastry. Addictive, fruity, spicy with something creamy & woody in the background giving it the unisex quality- smells entirely more expensive than the £15 I paid for it. Bottle is beautiful, longevity is good, projection will probably develop fully in a month or so- at the moment it’s not huge, but definitely a nice bubble. Would definitely repurchase as I know I’m going to use this a lot - it’s a lovely, but distinctive, every day scent.

I wasn't sure about this one at first. All I could smell was apple and spice and it came off a bit masculine to my nose, but I've been testing it out and coconut which isn't listed on here smells so yummy. I'm enjoying that coconut scent so much and it gives the perfume a creaminess that is so addicting. This is more like coconut milk from a can mixed in with a fruit bowl with some apple spice, vanilla and some musk. The projection on this isn't too loud and sits close to the skin but I also didn't overspray. You'll find yourself in a nice scent bubble for hours. It's definitely unisex but can be pulled off nicely by either. This is a fragrance that will grow on you when you have patience to understand its complexity.

I purchased this fragrance as part of a much larger order. What I appreciate about the Middle Eastern fragrance houses, is how far removed they are from the Western themed frags......and this is a prime example! The presentation is unique and a handsome adornment to any collection! A tropical blend of fruit, vanilla & spice...perfectly arranged. Fleshy, juicy Pineapple, citrus..and a delicate coconut accord (not mentioned,but perceived). Spices, mingling with powdery sweet vanilla at the base make it fantastic! Definitely unisex, Like springtime or summertime in a bottle. A tropical escape! A trip worth taking, given the cost of ride........ Lattafa created something extraordinary here! The Verdict : MASTERPIECE

I agree that it does lean a touch masculine in the opening (the bright apple, maybe?) but I find it quickly settles into unisex. Definitely not a popular Lattafa, as my new bottle (purchased a week ago) was dated 05/'24, but I really enjoy it. It's very spice and wood heavy with bits of fruitiness breaking through every now and again to keep it interesting, but there's nothing harsh or cloying here, just soft, warm, and cozy. I've tried layering with lighter, brighter scents to push it more feminine, but haven't found anything I've liked more than just Royal Blends on its own. For the opposite end of the scale, my husband layered this with Sha'ari and that turned out really well. Very happy with this blind buy!

I had nothing like this. Despite my 300+ bottles, this is unique in my collection. Royal Blends is decadent, juicy, fleshy, over-ripe, deep yellow/orange, height-of-summer fruit. Do I smell mango? Sweet peach? Gorgeous and mouthwatering. Today is 87F so I don't smell the spices per se. There is a good grounding base to this perfume which holds it to my skin but I can't really say what it is. If I added some tobacco, I'd get somewhere in the area of Amouage Sunshine. Royal Blends is a sweet delight which is mature and modern enough to be enjoyed by all. If you like sweet perfumes like the Extrait of Burberry Black, you'll really enjoy this one. Summer gourmand, if there ever was one.

Great dupe of 1 million elixir with some extra spice and sass. Masculine leaning . Not safe blind buy unless you into middle eastern fragrances. It’s lightly spiced and mainstream but not for newbies. My mother , who was once a model , hates girly perfumes and she’s always stealing my clothes , this RB by Lattafa and loves all my Angel share dupes and liquor based ones (Teriaq intense , killian , Paris corner whiskey ). Some women may like this but not safe for beavers. I wear this in summer - it’s not super cloying . Once I wore this and a stripper said “you cologne smells like pure sex, it makes me horny and I never get horny bc I see stick every day !” Do with that as you will !

This is amazing. The minute I opened it I put it right beside my bed. As someone who has EXTREME sensory sensitivity, this is definitely a relief when my nasal passages feel attacked and I get depressed 😂 Can’t recommend this enough! It’s so exotic, I genuinely can’t imagine how good it is in a hot country ✨🌴 In terms of masculine/feminine principles, this smells VERY feminine to me, and as someone who has tried most of the top French house perfumes, it does smell femme - but other members of my household disagree. Definitely think it depends on skin chemistry. FYI: Even though it’s meant to be summer in the UK rn, it’s a little more dreary than it is in the UEA

I've read the many positive reviews on this perfume and so I decided to get me a bottle, because people said it was a pretty safe blind buy. It's my first Lattafa perfume, and I was curious, to say the least, when I sprayed myself with it. I usually dislike sweet perfumes, but this one is absolutely delightful. The perfume pyramid in here should read: Top Notes - Cinnamon, Pineapple. Middle Notes – Vanilla, Balsam Base Notes - Amber, Patchouli, and Coumarin. The info is from Lattafa, and those notes are much more spot on. This is a quality perfume and it's only 20 dollars for 100 ml. It will stay in my perfume collection as long as it ́s available.

Great fragrance however no one’s reviewing it properly identifying it.This to me I think is an Erba Pura clone and it smells 98% of Mancera's Jardin exclusive which is like an Erba pure clone. Scent profile: This fragrance is like a fruit punch or fruit cocktail smelling fragrance. I can see similarities to other fragrances that cost more than this but this is very cheap. The price point is fantastic and smells very identical to Jardin's exclusif. You can blind buy this with no issues it's very crowd pleasing and get you a ton of positive attention.

This is really damn good. For real, you can wear this year round, it smells yummy, it lasts for a while (around 6 hours on unmoisturized skin), sillage is not great but okay. The smell, I can just say this smells like making love in a cinnamon pie, I can't fathom it, maybe it's the nutmeg, I had no clue I'd like this note so much, I'm wowed. I thought I'd never find a fragrance I'd truly love, and yet, this is it. I'll buy a backup bottle, it's just THAT good, I'll overspray if I have to. 10/10

This smells AMAZING. One of my best blind buys. Definitely very sweet, so if you don't like sweet fragrances pass this up, but man does it smell good, and it's nuclear so you only need a few stays especially in warmer temperatures. Definitely think it could be yr round just adjusting the sprays in hot weather. But in my opinion, a safe blind buy if you like sweet fragrances.

I love this scent. It smells gold, spicy, dried-fruity. The bottle is of amazing quality too and I only spent $25 AUD on special on Amazon. It really scratched my itchy for something spicy, feminine, and very strong. At first, the fruits were a bit sharp and overpowering, but after a month or so that mellowed out, so don't judge this too quickly, give it some time to sit.

I wore this scent all winter last year. Sadly I've almost finished this bottle. Someone told me I smell like a hot cross bun. This scent matches my skin chemistry really well. I can see why people would think sweet pineapple candy but its more like baked apples to me. I really enjoyed layering this with vanilla and coffee scents

I enjoy this fragrance. It's a good dumb reach for casual wear. The only thing that is similar to Honor & Glory, (imo I own both) is the pineapple note, other than that you can own both and get different scent journeys with them. So far I get 5-6 hours wear before I feel the need to touch up, but I don't mind for the price.

What a delectable blend of fruits, sweet spices and Agar ! The subtle smoke of beauty lingered till the morning after. Proud to belong to the ancient East of solid fragrances. Yes, we can have our perfumes with no single floral note - and fruits are but a deliberate addition here , when it comes to that.

A beautiful delicious fruity spicy amber––sweet, bright, warm, and cozy! I get mango from this instead of apple or pineapple like others mentioned, and I love it! I really didn't expect Royal Blends to be this good, very crowd-pleasing and good for beginners to middle eastern fragrances.

Stewed apple and pineapple cobbler filling, lots of sweet cinnamon goodness. Very foody but not in the edible sense, a warm and very easy-to-wear gourmand. Autumn and winter are the perfect seasons for this, can get away with it spring too. Projects loudly, lasts for hours.

This is masculine leaning for sure. When I first sprayed it I was disappointed because it is so masculine but I do enjoy the scent so decided to try it on my skin. I get spiced, woody, pineapple. I really love the scent but it’s definitely more for a man. 🤷🏻♀️

I find it weird that a lot of women don't like this so much (including my girlfriend), it's honestly one of my favourites on her even though there are much more exprensive ones. The nutmeg note makes it so alluring.

His is a hidden gem. To my nose I get similar vibes of Byredos Pulps with some spices added to it. This does not smell like Erba Pura, as that is a creamy fruity fragrance. Definitely worth trying.

Honor & glory gets all the hype but I think this is the better for the two. It’s deeper and more interesting, very warm, and Honor & Glory is more of a dry pineapple. This is better in every way.

It is gorgeous, I mainly get overly ripe fruits, spices, and amber. for me this is fall in a bottle, reminds me of baked goods, specifically pies.

It reminds me a lot of Rihanna's reb l'fleur!it is a nice fragrance! leaning more feminine in my opinion!

Smells like a spiced coconutty pineapple. Love it.

In the spring of '22 I got Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends after hearing it was an Oudh-free, interesting summer fragrance. Looking for something that wasn't citrus laden or simply watery I blind bought it. 1.5yrs after the fact I'm still happy. What's the scent? The first one to pop up after letting Khaltaat come out to play is a loudmouthed pineapple. You can notice cinnamon in the background, but initially it's soft. However, after a mere two minutes the pineapple takes a backseat and lets cinnamon in the spotlight, creating a lovely blend of the two. The cinnamon-pineapple mixture soon gets support from an aromatic note; a medicinal woody accord. It gives the heart a slightly masculine touch, but the balsamic part of the pyramid is soon overshadowed by a sugary vanilla. The result by now is a balance of all that went before. Soft pineapple, warm spicy cinnamon, a woody green accent and a baker's vanilla holding everything up. Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends jumps through the pyramid, so its development comes quickly. The pineapple- cinnamon lasted but two minutes, followed by a short balsamic interlude with a heaping of vanilla. This stage doesn't get much longer, and we're about ten minutes in before amber joins the composition, hand in hand with a soft-spoken coumarin that emphasises the warmth of the scent and can give a touch of coconut. It depends on your skin chemistry - as so often is the case - how strong the coconutty coumarin becomes. The dry down leaves us with a fragrance that remains overall vanillic sweet, with a little spiciness from the leftover cinnamon, a whiff of aromatic wood and (on me) a hint of coconut-pineapple. Despite the loud opening, Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends is mostly, and certainly in the dry down, relatively demure. Strong voices like cinnamon, balsamic notes or Amber and Patchouli – who must have slept on the job – didn't end up becoming one big scream that will be noticed by everyone around you. It is exactly what most of us want from a summer fragrance, but if you'd hoped for a Middle Eastern beastmode gem you're out of luck. Khaltaat gives a scent bubble that is there, but remains a whisper for everyone further away than arm length. Nor will others be forced to smell you an hour after you've left. Important to know: the fragrance reacts strongly to temperature, being rather disappointing projection and longevity wise in cooler months (in winter I barely get an hour), performing better once the thermostat hits 18°C or more. It's still definitely not beastmode then, but reaches average projection in the first hour, with the scent slowly becoming more intimate afterwards. On my dry skin it remains 4hrs max, though with a vanilla bodylotion I can squeeze out a bit more. NB. The sweetness in the fragrance will definitely double once the sun warms everything above 20 degrees. Khaltaat isn't the typical summer scent everyone in the West expects. No citrus, or sparkly peony, no clean or sunscreen liquids. Instead Lattafa has created a warm weather fragrance that makes clear gourmand(ish) isn't only for winter. Based on how the juice behaves on my skin, it's for everyone. If yours boosts the coumarin and/ or vanilla it might be a bit too sweet. If the balsamic note remains strong - on me that disappears almost completely - you might think it's a tad masculine. (All in all it's useful to know that all Lattafa's, like most more affordable 'Arabs', need extra maceration. Meaning: don't give up if it isn't to your liking at first. Wait a few weeks, or even more, for a better blend and strengthening of notes.) Royal Blends shines in summer, but too much Gold will blind you. Do not overspray, nor wear when temperatures get truly high. Otherwise you'll choke out everyone passing by. [NB. Review is an adapted version of an earlier written article for my account on Parfumo. NB2. As most know by now, Fragantica has posted the wrong notes - again. Which always makes it weird when people actually smell those notes... Anyway, this is the correct pyramid: T: Pineapple - Cinnamon H: Balsamic notes - Vanilla B: Amber - Patchouli - Coumarin NB3. If you have Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends then do not bother to buy Shaheen Gold, or at least get a sample first. Once Shaheen is macerated, the two are extremely close, with Shaheen only missing the stronger cinnamon note and the aromatic development in the heart. This could be because my skin doesn't pick up the fig and lavender in SG, or maybe they disappear quickly after the bottle has been open several months. But know that opening and base make for a very similar fragrance *on my skin*. Shaheen Gold does give much better projection and longevity after it has maceration, but in my country it's also 4x more expensive, with Royal Blends being €18 and Shaheen Gold €69.95. NB4. Royal Blends isn't a dupe for Erba Pura - not even close. Lattafa has many a dupe for this fragrance, as well as close compe-sister Kirke, but this one ain't it. Ana Abiyedh White (EP) and Confidential Private Gold (KK) are very affordable dupes for these perfumes].

Sweet Like Salt If you’re intent on blindly buying this Arabian perfume, do expect something Middle Eastern-style, unlike its twin Royal Delight Silver. This fragrance is fruity, sweet, sticky, spicy, and woody, with a feminine lift on my skin. The almost dominant presence of fruity and amber notes helps the perfume release those traits that we find in Erba Pura and Kirkè EXTRAIT DE PARFUM, even if I wouldn’t define it as a clone of them. It’s just to give you an idea of the type of fragrance, so creamy, fruity, and salty. Royal blend announces itself with an alcoholic explosion, immediately followed by a powerful fruity accord, as if we were faced with a mixed fresh fruit salad, with common and tropical fruits, passion fruit, and so forth. Warm, creamy, floral, - fruit and spices, the pineapple is ripe, and the cinnamon adds that sweet touch that we encounter when we taste fresh whipped cream with a generous sprinkling of freshly ground cinnamon on top. Meanwhile, from the base, I immediately get the salty and musky notes of amber and white musk. The opening is straightforward, amber and fruity, with a sensual white floral background. I get sweet, powdery, and resinous accords in the heart. Let the fragrance develop, and after a handful of minutes, the spiciness of the cinnamon amplifies with a kind of clove-like aroma from the eugenol ingredient. Meanwhile, the salty and smooth amber comes through. Deep in the background, I catch a sort of nuttiness, creamy, milky, and not bitter at all, more akin to hazelnut than almond, with a coconut slant. Besides, the resins come from benzoin, maybe myrrh, and other ointments that recall the places where spiritual massages are given. Royal Blends offers even a floral facet, with a perceivable note of heady jasmine. Perfectly balancing femininity and masculinity, jasmine emits an unmistakably powerful floral and fruity scent. And then there is another change. The drydown abandons the initial fruity blast, to reveal a trail full of powdery and salty nuances. If there is patchouli, this is very tamed and soft. Instead, dusty and vanilla coumarins compete for the stage together with a salty amber with reflections of soft and sweetish white musk. To wrap up, it is a sort of warm, comfy, and charming, with a balmy feeling. It goes through several stages, and the character is pretty non-linear. Like Royal Delight, the performance is great. It lasts several hours and projects strongly in the first bunch of hours. Despite its dominant sweetness, the perfume should have a good yield in the warmer months, from late spring to late autumn, and will be noticed on summer evenings. Finally, it has that feminine slant on my skin, but I am not saying it is for women only. These are my impressions based on a bottle I have owned since April 2024.

I had previously bought this due to some reviews on YouTube and because the price was very low, I believe I paid 21 dollars for it. The first couple times I sprayed I thought “oh God this is nauseating and too much sugar” go figure the name says it all, ROYAL BLENDS. It’s very strong, to me it almost smells like honey , so I gave it away, 3 months later I got it back from the person I gave it to because she said it smelled like an old lady, it is a very mature sent. But oh was I wrong for giving it away, I decided to give it a try again, sprayed some on my daughter this morning, later that evening I said wow you smell good!!! It was a powdery rose sweet scent just hard to explain. But this becomes very attractive scent after sometime that you sprayed it. What am trying to say is, if you like gourmand, fruity scents with a touch of woody powder rose, you will love it. If you don’t like sweet, walk away from it because it will intoxicate you. Also, it’s very luxury scent so definitely will be keeping it.

I just got this in the mail so maybe it'll grow on me but so far, it's a no. It smells like a nice men's aftershave, which is a problem because I prefer feminine leaning perfumes. Khaltaat Royal Blends is super spicy from initial wear and all the way to the dry down. I can tell there's fruits in there but it is way over powered by the spiciness. I smell an aquatic note as well. It's definitely masculine, not sure how other women are able to wear it. Also, I do not agree that it smells like Honor & Glory. Honor and Glory or Khamrah. H&G is sweeter to my nose and smells of tumeric. Khamrah smells like cinnamon. The spices in Khaltaat Royal Blends smells completely different. I'll give it a couple of weeks / months to rest. Hopefully it'll get better by then, if not I'll probably end up giving this one to my dad or husband. Edit: I take it back. This does smell like Honor and Glory but in the DEEP dry down. You got to get through the manly phase first. There may be hope for this perfume after all!

1st - Opens with punchy, juicy pineapple mixed with white musk. 2nd - Then spices kick in. The creamy pineapple smells like chewable pineapple flavour vitamin C in my childhood + liquorice/star anise, clove, nutmeg, and a little of cinnamon. This phase has a bit of a masculine scent profile. 3rd - Later I get much more woody notes, nutmeg, and fermented fruits (apple & raisins) on a vanillic amber base. The pineapple is ornated as a cherry on top then disappears. Transforms into completely unisex in this phase. 4th - Drydown faint woody & balmy fruity almost like hard candy – a bit like osmanthus (similar to the drydown of Good Girl Gone Bad Extreme that I'm not impressed). Very interesting fragrance, which I enjoy every phase of transformation. I think it’d be more exciting if oud was added. It's fruity, woody, spicy, but definitely not gourmand in my opinion. I don't get the pie thing either.

Fragrantica is not doing this perfume any justice by listing those wrong notes. According to Lattafa’s official website: Top Notes are - Cinnamon, Pineapple. Middle notes – Vanilla, Balsamic. Base Notes - Amber, Patchouli, and Coumarine. If I would have just referred to Fragrantica to decide on whether or not to purchase this, I would have probably skipped it. The notes currently listed *I’m hoping they will fix this soon* make it sounds like it’s going to be a mature man’s cologne type of fragrance. I bought this after watching a review on YouTube by Coco Pebz. Her reaction 😂 ... I just had to get it ❤️ What I personally get from this is the smell of a coconut type of dessert with a bit of cinnamon sprinkled on top. I could swear there is also some creamy white musk and watermelon in there. But oh well, I just know that I love it and it’s indeed beautiful.

It's been a while since I've smelled Bade'e Al Oud Honor and Glory, but it was too sweet for me at the time. This one on the other hand is quite balanced with the spice. I'm not sure what they were cloning with this one, or if it's even related to Hobor and Glory somehow, but it's good. This is another one of those fragrances that could fill a place as a warm weather fragrance for folks who don't really like typical freshies or aquatics. It wears easy enough in the heat, and it has good longevity. This smells like a spicy pineapple concoction, almost to a lighter gourmand level. It's ambery, woody, and musky with a bunch of fruit and spices added. It kind of reminds me of what we call "dump cake". Dump cake for us is basically a pineapple, cherry cobbler. Very nice and I hope it gets even better.

#380 in my "Tour de Fragrance" See the thorough and impressive review by "Misschronicallyfabulous" from 10/15/23 below. After a very "Holy Smokes!" opening, this dries down to a nice and pretty understated, very unisex cinnamon-vanillic that puts me in mind of the fabulous Cinnamon-Apple Croissants at Crema Coffee in Cary without coming across as excessively sweet. It isn't going to get you kicked out of the carpool, thrown off the elevator or banned from the office. If you're looking for an amber-vanilla bomb like Khamrah, this is not that. Kinda cozy, not aggressive. EDT in performance, sort of standard for Lattafa, so not a superstar for longevity or projection, and you'll need to respray at lunch. I still like it, and I love the price.

The ACTUAL NOTES: Top: Cinnamon, Pineapple; Heart: Vanilla, Balsamic; Base: Amber, Patchouli, Coumarine This is an absolute spiced fruity vanilla beauty!! My bottle is almost 2 years old and the scent has become mesmerizingly gorgous. The cinnamon, pineapple and vanilla anchored by sweet amber and slightly dark patchouli and capped off with a bit of tonka bean (coumarine). It's definitely fruity/sweet, but NOT so much that a man couldn't rock it. The dry down is really where it's at! Much of the sweetness recedes and you're left with a beautiful spiced vanilla tonka bean and a bit of lingering sweet pineapple. And it's lovely!! Get it, spray it, and let it sit before. Only then will you see what this fragrance is all about!

Omg this is soo beautiful. I wonder why there are so many mixed reviews on this , it reminds me of al haramain amber oud gold which is a dupe of Erba pura, but the pineapple/apple is dialed up in this. I dont get much spices just sweet fruits and amber that is well blended. Longevity is 8+ hours with moderate sillage and projection. I love that its not super hyped up so it was extremely affordable and didnt need to sit or age to smell good, my bottle is 2022 so i guess it has macerated well. UPDATE; This smells like a better version of honor and glory by lattafa, its less creamy tho but it has a superior smell compared to honor and glory. This also smells like a mixture of Erba pura and kharmrah by lattafa.

I belive this one is temperature sensitive fragrance. I bought it in September 2022 and for the first year I could smell only spices, no fruits, no nothing else. It was awful. After a year scent changed for the better, I started to notice some fruits and sweetness. It was lot better but I still didn't wear it outside, only tried few times at home. I was curious how smoe people get lovely fruits and sweetness so I thought Ill try in hot weather. I live in north UK and it's rarely hot here barely warm I would say 😂. I took it to the Tenerife and it really shone there. It was delicious. After coming back to the UK it again was most spices, not enough fruits. So if you live in colder climate better sample first

each time i smell this, it's ever so slightly different! what i can definitely say is that this scent is one thousand percent apple, salty, a bit spicy. if you let this dry down, it's almost sweet. the first time i smelled this, i told the friend who gave it to me that it was my absolute favorite by far. on my skin, it's slightly more masculine than what i would typically lean torwards. all in all, i'd best describe this scent as FUN! it has so many different notes that are easy to decipher, and i can't imagine anybody i know genuinely hating this scent. it's like theres a little bit of everything in it for everybody to enjoy :-)

Smells nothing like I expected. I read reviews saying this smells like a cinnamony peach/apple pie and that's what I was hoping for. I don't get that at all! Mostly In the opening, I get a sweet, slightly powdery, amber scent. Someone mentioned sunscreen in the opening, and I totally get that. I'm not sure what note that is, but I don't like it. On the dry down, it smells like dried fruits, wood and spices. I'm absolutely loving the dry down but it's so faint. According to Parfumo these are the notes: Top Notes Pineapple, Cinnamon Heart Notes Balsamic notes, Vanilla Base Notes Coumarin, Amber, Patchouli

This unisex hassle has already gone too far. This is definitely a men's fragrance. If you are looking for a fragrance like this as a true unisex, in this price range, choose Swiss Arabian Kenzy. It has the right ratio of sweetness for a real unisex fragrance. This will go to gift for my daughters boyfriend, he gonna love this. *Update; I laughed when I read the next review above, because that's where also my opinion has changed. I love wearing this, it's so empowering and fascinating too. Masculine but not macho, lol.

Although I'm still working on my relationship with this scent, I do tend to gravitate towards this more in the Autumn season. The contrast of the apple opening and the spices in the heart are somewhere in the vibe of a Rabanne fragrance. It has some Middle Eastern flare for sure, but it can work in many environments across the seasons. Think date night, holiday events in the cooler months, and lightly sprayed for an office-boss feel. Geared more towards the 25+ age brackets.

I get a spicy pineapple amber fragrance. Though marketed as unisex, for me, it leans a little bit more masculine. I've tried layering it with vanilla based fragrances, but it hasn't really worked for me. I gave it to my husband and it smells great on him. I do like the scent but sadly, it just didn't work on my skin. I have about 15 Lattafa fragrances and love ALL of them just this once it didn't work for me. Not bad considering I blind buy them.

Not sure why but this fragrance is making me sleepy, literally when I spray it when I'm home, I start yawning. Maybe because it feels cozy and warm, this is a strong scent and not for someone who like fresh light scents. This is heavy fruity, amber, and woodsy blended well and the dry down is a really sweet ambery scent. Its def a mature scent and unisex. I will keep this and would buy one for my dad as this is his vibe.
