I got this because my bottle of TF cherry Smoke smells great but has very poor longevity . I needed to get that scent but not for 3 digit prices. Enter fragrancebuy.ca and fragrantica to supply a road to an alternative product. I have to say this is amazingly close to my TF Cherry smoke and hits all the same hot buttons. Standing here reviewing it I am just enveloped in a cloud of cherry that never gets too sweet or tart and a fog of leather incense . It's my best description. It sprays on as Cherry Leather with a hint of cinammon that recedes as it dries down. It has in incense like note that gives it a mysterious smoky quality. A slight sharp animalic or honey spike. It's just a sultry mix of sensuality. I wore it for the first time on the weekend and while fueling my car I got the olive note they mention in TF. I'm not getting that this morning but to be fair it's another temperature in the office and wearing way more clothes. This on the thicker side of scents. I would say it's a date night or leisure time scent. I'm wearing it at the office and it feels a bit wrong for the setting. It's rich and enveloping. It's definitely unisex leaning masculine . Obviously different body chemistry will bring different notes to the forefront. If you like Cherry Smoke this will be your kind of thing. I have no concern with wanting it to be an exact TF dupe but I can say they smell very much the same to me. A great frag by Lattafa Pride. The packaging is over the top though. The huge gold box to hold the bottle with the watch on it is a lot of work and cost for a clone product. In the end the scent speaks for itself and outperforms my TF bottle that so turned me on and let me down. I'm glad companies like Lattafa sell you the product you want at a great value. Im glad for their success.

Opening: A pleasant cherry liquer pralines opening. Sounds quite gurmand, not synthetic. My other thought is some sort of good quality cherry liquor. It is a bit sweet but sour as well. Really all-round and pleasant composition. 8/10 Later: You can feel cherry pralines throughout the whole perfumes "life" but later on you can feel some resin, guiac wood, leather and woody notes. Again, it's really well composed. 8/10 Projection and sillage: Projection and sillage are quite crazy, I had strong projection for several meters for at least 6 hours. As a skin smell I could easily feel it the next day. 9/10 Price:quality 9/10 Overall: It's extremely well composed parfume in its price range. Quite rarely you can get such a complex parfume for ~35$ in an offer. As a men, it's a gurmand smell that you might just wear for your own pleasure, since I don't think it's the kind of magnetic parfume. If you like cherries, like me, it's a great choice in an economic price. During the summer it might be a little bit too sweet so I'd advice wearing it on colder nights when the temperature is 20 oC and below, I think that especially below 10 oC it shines. Overall grade: 8.5/10

The opening is unexpected and quietly intoxicating. A dark cherry note emerges first, not bright or playful, but lacquered and mature, like preserved fruit resting in aged wood. As the fragrance settles, that cherry becomes deeper and more textural, folding into amber with a velvety warmth. The effect is emotional rather than edible. It feels nostalgic, almost archival, like the memory of indulgence rather than indulgence itself. Candlelit rooms come to mind. Heavy drapery. The calm confidence of objects built to endure. In the dry down, the fruit recedes into the structure of the scent. Resinous woods and ambered warmth cling close to the skin, intimate and dignified. What remains is an echo of cherry stained into the wood, subtle but unmistakable, like a trace left behind on polished furniture long after the room has emptied. This is not a fragrance for the moment. It is a fragrance for reflection.

I heard a guy reviewing it on YouTube saying it's a very masculine scent. In my opinion no way! I think he's trying to convince himself it smells very masculine. This is similar vibe to smoke cherry from TF. It opens with sweet boozy cherry and turns into a cherry bubble gum. Then the resin notes start coming in and the cherry bubble gum becomes beautifully blended into balsamic incense. The cherry stays quite bright and zingy but sits under the incense blanket. For my taste it definitely leans feminine and is an excellent choice for a nighttime black dress and lingerie, intimate setting. Very alluring scent. When I just bought it, it didn't project strong and stayed close to the body. However, this has changed over the year. It became much smoother, stronger and the incense gained much more depth. I think this is a great scent for the money if you like smoke cherry. Don't expect it to be exactly the same, but you'll get similar vibes.

Another great Lattafa. Quality blend here. This is unissex but leans masculine, which is awesome for guys who like the cherry note. I've never smelled Cherry Smoke, but i'm familiar with Lost Cherry and that one is way more feminine. The cherry note though is only center stage during the opening and it's so good, wish it kept that juicyness throughout the full duration of the fragrance. As it dries down it gets woodier and smokier which still smells great and very regal, but that opening man...it's just too good to last only for the little time it does. You can still smell it on the drydown but it's way behind the incense/balsamic route it takes. Projection is arms lenght, and longevity goes well into 10h. Strictly a cold weather scent and i wouldn't overspray this, the incense part of it could get obnoxious if you douse yourself in it. For this DNA, a full bottle of this is a bargain.

I've got about 30 Lattafas and this is my number one from them, no doubt. Totally unisex. Black cherry, saffron and lots of incense. It's thick, rich and bold. Not a teenage cherry, it's dark and grown up. Smells exactly like Tom Ford's Smoke Cherry, but it beats with with longevity and sillage by miles. I'm an oversprayer, but I'm careful with it as it's nuclear. Mine sat in a draw for a few weeks after opening, so perhaps that made it stronger as it's often the case with Middle Eastern perfumes. The presentation is also very impressive, both the box and the bottle look absolutely beautiful and are of high quality. I don't understand how Cherry Smoke's dupes are often reviewed and this fragrance is almost never mentioned. Such an underrated gem from Lattafa. 10/10 for me.

Without letting the bottle rest after its journey, I sprayed this fragrance on my wrist. The first thing that hit my nose was a pleasant scent of cherry liqueur 🍒. I also detect woody-balsamic notes,also guaiac wood being quite prominent, giving the fragrance a slightly earthy and smoky touch. There’s a faint pine undertone, likely due to the resins. Altogether, the ingredients create a beautiful, soft, and cozy scent. If I had tried this fragrance blindly, I probably wouldn’t have identified it as an Arabic scent—it has such a deep and nuanced character. Again, these impressions are from warm skin. The fragrance is very unisex, I can imagine it on both women and men. It’s better suited for autumn and winter.

Delicious, deep, dark and delightful! Probably inspired by TF Cherry Smoke or Lost Cherry, but not a copy. I get the juicy, smoky, sweet black cherry immediately, embedded in a deep dark resinous incense base. Within just a few minutes the cherry is backing off a little, but a delightful remnant remains for the entire life of the fragrance. The quality is amazingly good, smells luxurious, could easily be a £300 perfume. Totally unisex. I’m not super impressed by the performance though - it’s not as potent as I’d like, could have been stronger, and doesn’t seem to project beyond arms length at best. Longevity is ok but not great. Even so, it performs much better than TF Lost Cherry.

This is almost identical to Cherry Smoke from TF. I’ve got both sprayed, one on each wrist, and I’ve been smelling them side-by-side every 15-20 minutes for the past two hours and they are like, 95% similar. Both on skin and in the air (have a couple of friends smell them as well, they all agreed). The only difference I’m really picking up is this one has a stronger cherry smell, whereas the TF cherry is slightly more subdued and goes away quicker. This one also drys down a little sweeter, whereas Cherry Smoke is a little smokier. But again, this is nitpicking and smelling side-by-side otherwise you couldn’t tell the difference.

This is really good. Mine has macerated for at least a month. I haven’t smelled any of the smells like scents, but I probably have 6 other cherry perfumes in my collection. I don’t think any of them smell like this. Maybe Modern Muse Le Rouge Gloss possibly and only slightly. This is smokey cherry powder. Leans masculine. I was reading a review recently where someone said that saffron can come across as motor oil. I don’t get that here, but it is medicinal and kind of ew at first, but within ten minutes it is a very comforting scent. I am very happy with this blind buy. Smells expensive and smelled good even pre maceration.

Going off initial spray: Starts off very bright Cherry, like TF Lost Cherry. But very very quickly goes into a deep, sweet, dark, black cherry, slightly bitter/tart, maybe almondy, wrapped in a light smoke. Right under the sweet/tart Cherry, i get the woods in the background. Very smooth, but i occasionally get a little hint of something ever so slightly medicinal. Beautiful. Ill update as time goes, but this stuff is fantastic. Definitely giving me night time, cold weather, dim restaurant with city views, and even vampiric vibes as weird as that sounds. Very dark, sensual fragrance.

Straight to the top of my favourite Lattafas, not because of really lovely cherry opening (I did not test any cherrysome frags from Tom Ford), but the only Tom Ford that I loved to bits and was wearing a lot was Sahara Noir and 1505 the only fragrance that doesn't burn my nose by ambroxan-alike molecules, it is easily recognizable to me base of Sahara Noir, balsamic, opulent, incensy, warm-woody,and incredibly comfortable and enveloping. I suppose everyone taking in or taking aback by certain combination of ingredients, in this case, luckily to myself, everything is perfect.

TF Cherry Smoke but better in every way. Stronger projection, better longevity, the cherry note is more prominent and lasts longer, and an unbeatable price point. Also, unlike other ME dupes, this required no maceration. As long as the formulation never changes and it doesn't get discontinued, I will forever buy this. Work in a hospital so i and others frequently go nose blind to most things, got a compliment from a patient about arms length and 10 hours after application, at that point it was mostly just dark slightly smoky woods.

HOLY MOLY this is strong. Unisex leaning masculine, I'd say, theoretically, but to my nose this is more masc than unisex. Opening is like a overriped cherry that falls from the tree and splashes you on impact with red juice, but then the drydown is very dark and serious and churchy because of the frankincense, styrax and all that jazz. Quite niche and challenging for the mere nose of a young passionate perfume lover. But alas, I'll make it work somehow. It smells incredible but it's quite intense for me.

This one of the few times a dupe is better than the OG. Compared to TF Cherry Smoke it has more depth, and part of the scent is almost gourmand. It is like a cherry pie mixed with almond (although its not in the notes) in a smoke form put into a bottle. It also has better longevity on skin and clings to clothes for days. Oh, and it is also less linear than TF, which is rare for Lattafa and Arabian perfumes in general. I'll say this is one of the better ones from the house.

I utterly love it. The cherry note starts off a bit medicinal, but it soon melts into the smoky incense, creating a beautifully blended drydown. There’s something mysterious about it. Dark, enchanting, with a distinctly witchy energy. The longevity is rather impressive, and the sillage as well. I’ve had loads of compliments while wearing it and it’s remarkably close to the TF's one, if not better considering the price, obvs.

Female review - I have over 300 scents. Avid collector/hoarder of fragrances. This is very close to Tom Ford! I'm getting more OUD to it. Not necessarily smoke but a definite oud. I got this for my mother in law. She loves Tom Ford Lost Cherry but hates the performance of that scent. This one PERFORMS. Nice sillage and it lasts. If my mother in law wants this bottle, I will definitely buy another bottle for myself. Nice!!

Excellent woody/sweet yet slightly tart cherry scent. The cherry almost has a slight medicinal aspect to it, like the flavour of a cherry soother (uk sore throat sweet), toned down in sweetness and blended with some woods and very light incense. I love it. The Mrs likes it too. More masculine imo, and hers. Excellent presentation as always with lattafa. Performance is good, long lasting, decent sillage.

This is my favourite perfume in my collection. Woody and incense-y notes are quite prominent on my skin, on me this is a really sexy, witchy incense-cherry scent. It is so mysterious and sexy and I feel like a bad B wearing it. I tested it against TF and this is much nicer, it lasts longer, it is drier, the blend is more appealing. It is such a beautiful perfume, especially for the price point.

The good news is this is Cherry Smoke, the bad news is this lasts as long as Lost Cherry. Waiting for it to bloom but i don’t really see the performance. Smells insanely perfect tho. If this had good performance it would be PERFECT. Edit after almost a month: happy to report that the longevity increased considerably, the projection remains close to skin, but now it lasts on clothes overnight.

This is one of my favorite cherry fragrances, very dark and not syrupy cherry at the start that is warm with some spices, drys down nicely with those resins and a slight smoke effect, cherry stays prevalent for 3-4 hours til it’s a vanilla resin drydown. 85% similiar to Cherry Smoke, I find it reminding me most of Cherry Punk without the leather. Warm dark cherry with resins. 9.7/10

This stuff is actually amazing, new winter favorite. Super woody, sweet, cherry. Balsamic only stays for like 5 minutes thankfully because that’s not my favorite type of smell. But it’s spicy fresh woody warm and cherry forward. Lasts forever, projects decently maybe like 6-10 feet on a fresh spray for like 30-1hour. Probably more like arms length after the first hour. 10/10

On initial spray its pure, sweet, sugary cherry, but only for a few seconds. The incense makes itself known soon afterwards, and the way it blends with the cherry gives it an almost boozy, wine-like quality. It is indeed very similar to TF's Cherry Smoke, but it is a little sweeter and more 'church-like' in my opinion (not to mention much cheaper), which I honestly prefer.

Strong black cherry, mysterious, intoxicating at first, then it starts to calm down a bit until the dry down. In the dry down I feel the guaiac wood. Sillage about 2 hours strong, after that is leaving a scent trail. I would say the longevity is about 6-8 hours on skin, after that is very close to the skin. I love it! It's something different.

Strong cherry opening with a wash of osmanthus on the backend. Followed by resinous smoky incense. A very interesting scent. Smells very high quality, and very reminiscent of Tom Ford Cherry Smoke. Same power and note structure of something like Kenzo Jungle L’elephant. Would only recommend as a blind buy if you’re an incense and cherry lover.

Lattafa...how? This is the closest to lost cherry I've smelled so far. No, is NOT A CLONE OF CHERRY SMOKE but Lost Cherry instead. Soft woodsy tones, light-earthy notes, and loads of cherry. Extremely well done, and honestly lasting longer than L.C by Tom Ford, I'll give it a solid 10/10. Re-buying it in the future.

So addicting to me. Def a TF dupe. This gets smokier throughout the day, almost like you sat next to someone who smoked a pack. I like gourmands so it needs sweeteners like marzipan, almond, sugary scents layered over. Great for the price, and as a gift for parents haha

It’s almost like a mix of Lost Cherry by TF and The One Luminus Night by D&G. Like reducing the candied vibe you find LC making it more masculine, and replacing the dates in TOLN with cherry. Definitely better than Lovely Chèrie by MA in my opinion. 9/10

Starts out smelling like medicinal syrup, and very strong too. Starts to mellow when drying down, and turns into a dark cherry smokey scent. Reminiscent of a very fragrant candle shop. Dark and alluring profile. 9/10

The opening is a very sweet cherry liqueur that softens with woody and leather notes. Lasts more than 12 hours on skin, with moderate projection. It is an incredible fragrance. 10/10.

This smells like boozy cherries, and it's very sensual. I love the sweetness.i got it at Burlington for $30, so a good price.

Beautiful done cherry fragrance

So I was looking for the best cherry scent and I came across this. Yeah, sure, TF Lost Cherry/Smoke dupe and all, but this honestly does it best compared to most, including Maison Alhambra and Tom Ford (the OG), per se (sampled all of them and did 1:1 comparison, of course). And what makes it better is its depth compared to most cherry fragrances. It's beautiful, sweet, fruity, gourmand, slightly dark, aromatic, and oriental, all in one well-balanced bottle. One issue (three, actually), about the bottle that I perosnally don't like is the frankincense (aka Olibanum), styrax & Cypriol used in the drydown (one of them alone is just stinky enough, they used all three, god bless their hearts), the combo almost smells like labdanum & blasm bomb that gives it the boozy aspect if you dissect the scent profile by the end of its sillage & longitivity (which is about 18 to 24 hrs max on skin and 36 hrs max on clothes) and leaves this skin musk like scent that ticks me off, but that's just me and my sensitive nose, a normal individual wouldn't notice that at all.One issue (three, actually) about the bottle that I personally don't like is the frankincense (aka Olibanum), styrax, and cypriol used in the drydown (one of them alone is stinky enough, they used all three, God bless their hearts). This is a great unisex leathery cherry fragrance. I loved Cherry Smoke by Tom Ford but it never seemed to last very long, this is a perfect fix and for a fraction of the price. Smells very similar to Cherry Smoke, maybe slightly less smoky and a slightly brighter cherry. The cherry isn’t medicinal or cloying, and the fruitiness goes away a little with the dry down so that this becomes a more leathery, woody scent with some nice subtle resin/balsam notes. Has better longevity than Tom Ford, and frankly even if it didn’t last so much longer it would still be worth it for the similar fragrance and price difference. I personally am a woman who prefers more unisex to masculine leaning scents and I don’t love too sweet or too floral/fruity of smells on myself so this is right up my alley. If you’re someone looking for a sweeter or more feminine cherry scent this is not it. **At well over 12 hours I can still smell this. Lasts SO MUCH longer than the Tom Ford. I do get more of the saffron and osmanthus the longer this sits on the skin, mostly toward the end of the 12 hours.

to everyone confused about the packaging opening like a book "the wrong way": don't even TRY talking to me about the Lattafa anime if you have not read the Lattafa manga. its herbal smelling in a way that heightens the medicinal cough syrupiness of the cherry, and even as it dries down it maintains a sharp chemical smokiness that i can somehow feel in my throat as im sampling it. its lack of gourmand notes makes it feel less full bodied. while lost cherry feels warm and comforting, this is cold and harsh. i thought itd be a safe blind buy because i love lost cherry, but it seems not. it must be the balsamic notes, which seem to also be what gives it that longevity boost. this could make it very useful for layering with lost cherry. maybe its performance will make up for it, especially if the initial spray makes up only 0.1% of its lifespan. update: forget everything i said, as soon as i stop comparing it to lost cherry it is great in its own way

Unlike TF Smoky Cherry, which tends to fade too quickly for its price point, 1505 lingers beautifully for hours and maintains a strong presence without being overpowering. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. It’s a rare case where the inspiration is outperformed by the homage. Lattafa nailed the balance between luxury and value, and I’m genuinely impressed.

oh my goodness this initially i didnt like this, it comes off as a harsh cherry (i hateee cherry fragrances) but oh my goodness, once this dries down or starts to hit the middle notes i tell you its a nice smooth creamy drydown, i layered it with the sticky dates lotion from lush and 2 sprays of choco musk and i cant stop smelling myself, i think it can pass for spring winter fall, prolly not summer tho itll get cloying and its just not gonna last the longest. on my skin the longevity wasnt that long i havent realllly tested as yet so im just gonna put moderate on it but 10/10 drydown one of my favs rn (ps if your a guy that likes to smell mysterious and you like cherry this is definently for you, but i STRONGLY recommend smelling it first before making a purchase, I got mine in the 20ml set and a blind buy on this fragrance isnt the brightest of ideas)

Actually, a surprisingly close interpretation of Cherry Smoke. It is a very mysterious and sensual fragrance DNA, but I can definitely understand the comments about it coming off slightly plasticky. The opening is filled with juicy cherries and moderate sweetness from osmanthus and saffron. I think the cherry takes a more supportive role as it dries down, and the smoky frankincense takes the main stage, which makes sense because the OG is named Cherry Smoke not Smokey Cherry. The earthy cypriol note is also ever-present and gives a slight dry-herbaceous quality. Together, the notes form a sweet and light incense that is mostly inoffensive, but the balsamic quality combined with the artificial cherry can be synthetic to some people. The performance is pretty average and nothing special. A little bit mature and leans feminine.

Wow! When I was unwrapping the packaging I said outloud, "This is too much for $40." I'm definitely repurposing the box. Very sophisticated, much like the contents of the bottle. The perfume has so much depth! It starts like cough syrup cherry followrd immediately by the smoky-woody notes. In the dry down it maintains the initial impressions while more notes come through. The cherry sharpness is well balanced with a softness that keeps it from cloying. I think this is what makes it preferable over the TF LC original. Absolutely a unisex fragrance. Ideal for winter and nights but really depends on the wearer.

It's really a beautiful juice. You have a very strong cherry at the beginning... but not a medicinal cherry... more like a candied boozy cherry. Then all the more green notes come out... to finish with a very soft and comforting smell of resins (frankincense). It's really nice and I do not like sweet cherry smells usually... but this one is very special. My husband loves it even for him. It's very unisex. It's cherry for adults basicaly.

Initial blast is woody cherry, then incense and resins come in. It’s got depth, performs well, is spicy and doesn’t feel overtly feminine or masculine. It’s not my favourite fragrance, but it’s definitely a decent one. It’s better for the darker months. Absolutely great value for money.

Had it a few weeks, really solid for the most part but the smokiness does feel a little plasticy and synthetic at times. Hopefully that might go away as it ages more but overall still a pretty good alternative to cherry smoke, the rest of the fragrance is done really well

Edit: wore a lot of this on my t-shirt today to really get a feel of what this smells. It dried down to a honey-leathery... rose? I don't even understand this change. It starts off as cherry, and ends up as leathery, honeyed rose??? It's somehow similar to Rose Exclusif by Maison Alhambra, and there is no rose in this at the start, not among the notes. I don't like this, and I actually find this kinda pricy for what the scent is. Currently, I'm looking for a good cherry perfume. I have Tom Ford Lost Cherry, Guerlain La Petite Robe Absolue and Black Perfecto, and I've sampled Black Opium Red. The Black Opium one was an instant "no" because it smelt like dry cherry powder made into a multivitamin for children. The Robe Noire series do smell of cherry, but they're quite cold, fresh smells. Lost Cherry needs some maceration before smelling right, but smells really good, but doesn't last. This perfume has the same top notes as lost cherry, but they lose their projection very fast, on skin, at least. Actually, the whole perfume loses projection very fast - it's a scent that projects about 10 cm away from the skin within 2 hours, so it's definitely something I'd rather spray on clothes. When the initial cherry smell disappears, there's a gasoline note that becomes more prominent. I first thought it could be oud, but there's no oud in here, apparently. Then this becomes a mildly sweet ambery skin scent very fast. When I go outside in the cool weather, I can smell the cherry scent better, so it doesn't actually disappear (for another 2 hpurs) completely, but inside, I don't smell it. I guess this would work well during the evenings or autumn, when it's cool outside. Sprayed on clothes, the cherry sticks around better, but this also becomes quite leathery (might come off as smoky, but it's leathery), which I'm not much of a fan of. My search for a good cherry perfume continues.
