Lail Maleki Moroccan Blue

Bruv, who thinks this smells like shower gel? Straight up, this is just Nivea Man Hand creme in a bottle. Its extremely creamy, way more than I thought it would be. Very soft and nice, reminds me of another fragrance but I don't know exactly. 1 Million Parfum? Le Beau? Coolwater Intense? Can't pinpoint it at all, but what I can tell you is that its a safe blind buy. Pleasant, soft, inoffensive, great scent to have. Does not project, but longevity is good. God, its so hard to pinpoint exactly, if you put your nose to your skin you can just smell something so familiar, but I just cannot make it out. Oud is there, but just on the skin. Inoffensive oud, muted even, never steals the show, slightly minty. Creamy sandalwood. Citruses, but not strongly citric. Also I can bet my jewels this thing has lily of the valley raw materials, and strangely Iris of all things. Its not a strong Iris, but I can most certainly smell it in there. (And, for the people that hate iris, just know that I also hate it, but I like this fragrance) This one is base heavy for sure. Its why people get good longevity, does not radiate off the skin though, it stays close to it. It feels heavy in air so it might leave a good sillage. It is a bizarre and wonderful concoction. I will update at some point post-maturing. This gets an 8/10 from me. EDIT: This does smell like Versace Man Eau Fraiche. I've just smelled that one as well, but this one just has more creaminess. ANOTHER EDIT further down the line: This gets nauseous if you overspray, performance is OKAY, nothing groundbreaking but pretty good for a freshie. Still same score I gave it. Interestingly enough after wearing both Rasasi Hawas OG and this on the same day, they smell very similar, this being more powdery and Hawas being more aquatic, but otherwise they are quite close in terms of scent to my nose, of course not redundant to own both but theres a shared DNA/Backbone to them, kind of like what Creed does to all their frags.

This is, for me, a 9/10 everything I love from different fragrances in one, solid performance and projection, I've smelled this 4 days after on a hoodie, not super loud but it's there. The oud in this is muted so it only is there to add depth, and the patchouli isn't crazy so no dirty earthy type scent. As for the note breakdown, it is a little vague as to what is exactly in here, so maybe some comparisons to other fragrances might help. Top notes: Aromatic spices, imagine smooth spices not pepper or pink pepper, more like soft coriander from Percival or even a very soft cardamom. Bergamot and citruses, some people smell a fig note and I can see it, I also pick up maybe some grapefruit and also a slight hint of bad boy type plum?, not listed but others have also smelled some mint and coconut which makes it light and airy. Think paradise garden, ocean noir type airy minty coconut. Middle notes: Amber, musk and florals. Amber adds sweet slightly powdery depth with very good musk. Florals can mean anything, but I pick up sage lavender and geranium violet leaf. So clean sweet airy soapy watery cozy type florals, think ysl y soapy, percival/kaaf smooth florals, and montblanc legend edp / watery clean violet leaf. Base notes: Agarwood, oud, sandalwood, patchouli. Doubled down on the oud, but somehow very muted which works and makes this a non oudy fragrance, sandalwood feels airy creamy and smooth and the patchouli adds a bit of darkness but not by much. Overall a very solid fragrance in every aspect, sweet, fresh, fruity/citrus, floral, creamy and airy, feels light while also feeling deep rich and cozy. I see people talking about spices but the spices blend well to me in a smooth rich way. 3 hours arm length projection, by the 5th hour still detectable with movement and by the 8th hour for me on clothes sits close but still can smell it days after. Strong for 4 hours on skin then is soft but noticeable for about 10+

Very surprising. For about $20, you get a blue/fresh/mildly tropical offering that actually doesn't 'clone' anything. I've owned most, if not all, of what is in the 'reminds' up above at one point or another. There really isn't an abundance of any of those DNA's present in any amount that would make me say 'yeah, I can see that'. Not Montblanc, not JPG, etc. Just no. So I won't bother since it really doesn't remind me of anything specific. However.... ...For around $20USD, this stuff punches way above its weight class. This is a do-it-all fresh/blue fragrance that has something of a mild ozonic freshness, combined with blue versatility, combined with VERY good performance. It has a citric-fresh-aromatic blend that is both unique and familiar at the same time. I guess the 'generic' term is being thrown around here because it really doesn't fit into a specific profile or existing fragrance framework. Yes, you can pick out little bits and pieces here and there, but it is nowhere and everywhere at the same time. Oh, and it gets plenty of positive attention. If that matters to you at all. No one may 'remember me' because of my fragrance, but no one will hate me for wearing it, either. Fine by me. I have a few fragrances in my collection, and many that I haven't gotten around to adding here on this site. And this one fits in well. I really don't discriminate on price or house etc. If it smells good, and has reasonably good performance then it is a winner for me. This was a good cheap pick up. Edit/Update 10-20-25: This stuff really performs. I mean, many hours of longevity...and also many hours of a nice scent trail as well. I cannot wrap my mind around how well this performs for a fresh fragrance...

UPDATE: Oud Zarian Sport / Bloud Zarian This stuff is great 8/10.. hear me out. It's so blue smelling it might make you giggle. It's sort of like Gris Charnel/Liam had a baby with Paradise Garden, then they threw in a dash of Lattafa's own His Confession, and a wallop of pepper/spice on top. It sort of has that Bisch cream base going on. You're getting a luxury creamy soap type scent here with some prickly pepper or tea. It might actually have a tiny smidge of Montblanc Legend DNA way in the back, tucked deep underneath some dusty spices and maybe it's just a smidgen of oud on top of everything I just mentioned. It's super fresh and creamy and dries down dry and spicy, yet still super clean. This is in the realm of a blue soapy tea scent, just made a bit spicy and dirty. It morphs from slightly generic to a fairly mature scent. I don't get all the hate, you guys must not have noses on ya. Or you're probably praising some Imagination clone while saying this is trash when they're basically about the same level of enjoyability. For $15 at Ross, this stuff is a hiding in plain sight gem. Ok, let's break it way down since you asked.. Take the Sandlewood from Gris Charnel, take Dihydromyrcenol and toss in a tiny mix of Bisch creamy base with Lattafas own His Confession.. Now, throw in a bunch of pepper/spices. This might have small hints of mint, coconut, and even fig at times goings on, which harkens to something tropical like Paradise Garden. I might be wrong, but I'm getting some tea in here too that elevates this to classy adult territory. Then if there is a tiniest amount of oud, that also gives the whole composition some lift and body.

Oud Lail Maleki was literally the first clone fragrance I ever bought about two years ago. I loved it then, still love it now. I didn't pay this one much mind when it came out but I've recently been looking into clean fragrances and this popped up on my radar. I saw it for $16 including shipping, figured I'd give it a shot and I'm glad I did. This stuff is backup bottle worthy imo. It's such a wonderfully layered fragrance that could replace like 3-4 in my collection. The very first thing this reminded me of was a smoother, more aromatic, less sweet Hawas Tropical. This doesn't have coconut listed as a note but something is giving that off. After about an hour, I start getting whiffs reminiscent of Mahir Legacy whilst still maintaining the creamy, coconut opening. After a few hours, it starts to smell like Armaf Odessy Mega. I can also see how people might get Fierce from this. I got that from both versions as well but it's more prominent and longer lasting in the Oud version, which is NOT a safe blind buy btw, just to put that out there. Overall, this is a very affordable, overlooked, aromatic, creamy, woody, lightly soapy, clean fragrance that you can wear just about anywhere and won't offend anyone. The longevity is about 5-6 hours with a moderate sillage for a couple hours. While it does open up modern and youthful, it definitely dries down into something more mature and slightly dated, so I can see how it could be polarizing. I'm 40 and can appreciate a bit of both, so it's definitely in my top ten for the summer.

Ive had this for a while, I found it at a Kohl's for 15$ and the notes seemed nice enough to try but I was a little worried about the oud. I was thoroughly impressed however. I would say this a perfect intro to oud, it can normally be very loud and harsh at times but in this it stays very close to the base and is just barley there on the skin if you get up close to it. This at its heart is a slightly more mature blue style of fragrence. Its very much citrus forward with an ambery core. It is not screechy or harsh and can basically be worn at any occasion. You can dress it up and it would be perfectly suitable or dress it down for going to the gym or work. Its definitely a mass appealing type of profile and I have had multiple people mention they like it. The bottle is by far the most tacky I own (and I have two 1 million flankers lol) and its worst thing about this. Its not my absolute favorite Fragrence I own but its a totally safe blind buy, an easy "I just need to smell nice" and something I would absolutely pick up again. Even if you dislike oud like I do you will still probably enjoy this and if you want something clean and blue for the spring and summer this is perfect. The best way I can describe it is while it doesn't smell like aventus but if you know how aventus has that kind of smokey base that holds together the more pineappley citrusy top its kind of a similar thing going on here, it has just that tad of depth when you get super close to it but it projects a fresh scent. Imo this is super slept on.

So this one is odd, but in a good way. I sprayed this several times on initial purchase, and it was a huge 'meh' for me. Figured for $20 at Burlington I wasn't too mad about it though, so stuck it in my display for a couple of months. Tried it today for a full wearing, and it has changed significantly. I get very little citrus, some slight floral and some slightly sweet, dry woods, when I have nose to skin. Still a little on the 'meh' side. But the scent bubble I've been walking around in for the last 4 hours is very different. I am getting a lot of very aromatic musk. The kind of scent that reminds you of pulling clean linen from a clothes line, with rain in the distance, that clean, fresh ozonic style of musk that is so comforting and wonderful. And yet nose to skin it's fairly boring woods. Followup edit - It's been 10 hours and the fresh musk faded after about 5 hours, and I can still pick up the base notes (woody) on skin and clothing. Not bad performance at all. I actually like this quite a bit, which is surprising to me. Will see what the rest of the wearing brings, but if the silage stays in this musky territory, it will get worn quite a bit as an office/airplane scent. As always with lower priced ME scents, your mileage may vary. I find that there are far more 'batch variations' in the middle eastern colognes than one would expect.

The top notes give me a hint of Bad Boy's spiciness and a blend of citrus that reminds me of BDC-inspired dupes or other popular citrus fragrances. The spice is the most prominent scent, but the citrus blends in to provide a sweet or tangy smell. The middle notes are very woody and powdery, though I don't smell the florals as much because the spice really lingers for the first half. The base notes are special. I usually hate Oud because it becomes really strong and nose-blasting when mixed with sweat or body heat, but to my surprise, this scent is actually quite unique. It starts off as a summer scent but works for fall as well. The dry down can transform into a sweet, okay night-out fragrance if you lack one just don't let it mix with sweat, to be honest. Needs further sweating to be mixed with sweat only tasted this without it mixing.

This cologne is solid, it’s an easy dumb reach and very inoffensive and mass appealing. It’s not very strong and doesn’t last super long which is why I both love and hate it. I use this in small, enclosed spaces and have used this in as high as 35 deg celsius or 100 deg F+. Great for summer spring or office. If you’re trying to impress someone or get noticed with this cologne, this isn’t it. I would not buy it again but I appreciate it- especially for the price. As a cologne itself, I can give it about a solid 6 or so. For me, this is my only safe cologne in a closed space so it’s an 8 as far as usefulness and I use it multiple times a week. Out of my 10 colognes, this is my least favorite, more of a tool than an experience. TLDR: Safe blind buy, inoffensive, unoriginal, easy grab.

What a sleeper this one is! You can't review this one right out of the box. This one definitely benefits from maturation. Its gets stronger and more balanced. Very good longevity, projection, and sillage. I'm talking big time projection and sillage. Longevity 8 hours easy. As to the smell, to my nose it's a mix of Montblanc legend-Abercrombie Fierce/ JPG paradise garden. Its has that coconut tropical vibe and that musky fierce/legend vibe. Very fresh and clean. If you like these type of DNA's this one is a no brainer. Its done very well. I have 200 fragrances and this is a 10/10. Maybe 15% of my collection I would rate a 10. Get this immediately! Oud what oud?? I detect 0 oud.

Bought it because a female vlogger on YouTube says it's unisex -apparently not. But don't give up! It opens up to a citrus, zesty, almost aquatic scent with a woody dry down which I don't find inoffensive at all. I believe it's a very safe blind buy with a familiar scent profile. And it really is suitable all year round- either to work, when running errands and even on date nights. It's fresh, non-juvenile, and easy to wear. Some vloggers even say that it's a hidden gem for the price you pay (got mine for 13USD). But definitely not unisex! Gifted to my boyfriend, and it really lasts long!

Smells perfect to me, At the first spray it smells like oriental woods, mint and clean citrus zest making it smell aromatic, with a "luxurious soap" vibe, also smells like paradise garden without the coconut and with a subtle vanilla note after a little more than 1 hour. Call me crazy, but holy crap,it smells just a Little like dr. Pepper. 9/10 beautifully complex yet super simple on the surface ( was sitting in the car, smelling its dry down and I knew it smelt so familiar, and then I remembered paradise garden and it was like a lightbulb lit up in my head "cartoon-style")

Even though it's not really my style, it's still amazing for the price. It performs well for 20$, you can smell the citrus on the opening but mixed with the aromatic spices makes it smell almost like floral coconut to me (and I'm not saying this as a bad thing btw). I would say it's versatile and easy to wear making it a safe blind buy.

Absolutely LOVE this fragrance! It starts of citrusy and comes down to a more creamy/powdery scent that is great for sunny days. People want to call this scent "generic" like it's a bad thing but I like to think of it as well rounded. Definitely pulls compliments and is a great casual blue scent.

15$ bucks at Ross, decided why the hell not. Smells really good. Performance is above average. Perfect for spring and the summer, just not on really hot days I would say. 8/10

Nice scent. It last all day on me. I was at Sephora today and smelled Replica Jazz Club on a test strip. The dry down of Jazz Club reminds me of this Moroccan Blue.

this is my first time trying lattafa, smells great and high quality for the price. Me personally I can smell the citrus and aromatic spices most prominently.

This is what Versace Man Au Fraiche Extreme should have been. Very similar to the original, but with greater push, longevity and depth.

Saw this at a local rack store and blind bought it for $20 just because of the bottle, the price and the fact that its a Lattafa.. Looking at that bottle with its two tone blue horse design, It is easy to imagine what it will smell like. It is, as you might imagine, a citrusy, floral, aquatic, spicy, musky, blue, shower gel type fragrance. It is a fresh, clean, uplifting scent. the notes say there is oud in it, but I don't get any oud and maybe just a little bit of wood and a bit of incense in the far drydown.. It reminds me of a mashup of several of its blue brothers, BDC, Turathi Blue, Rochas L'Homme, Sedley, etc... if you already have several of these, or others in the genre, this is redundant. While rather generic, quality is quite good, better than a lot of its cousins in that blue genre. Moroccan Blue manages to also have quite good performance. It projects several feet to those around you, and lasts on my skin for at least 4 to 6 hours, and on clothing for a good deal longer. I got several compliments right off the bat too.. While it is not going to wow anybody with an experienced nose, for a beginning collector, or someone who just wants an inexpensive and rather good blue fragrance to spray away with abandon, this checks all the boxes. it would make a great gym scent, or a perfect dumb reach, everyday scent, for almost any setting. The only time it might get lost would be in the dead of winter. My final thoughts, are that for the price, quality and the fact that its a people pleaser, its a great pickup.

I blind bought this out of curiosity since I like many of the scents people have compared this to. It opens up reminding me of le Beau Paradise or at least the inspired fragrances I have of it. Even the coconut is there but only for a very short moment. Then it becomes a very airy ,clean scent that is barely noticeable. Very light and airy even if you over spray. The closest thing I can compared it to is armaf aura fresh but a very watered down version of it. Maybe it will change with time but as of now it's weak , light airy yet very pleasant clean smelling. Absolutely worth every penny. I'd say it's a day time frag when you want to smell fresh but in a minimalistic way. You won't offend anyone with this. I like it very much. In conclusion: If you like fresh , airy ,light , clean and soapy scents than this perfume has all of that. Very subtle very quiet but also very pleasant smell. All that for an amazingly low price. Another successful purchase from Lattafa. Thank you!

This fragrance really surprised me as I wasn't expecting much but this has become my best summer pickup of the year and very much surprised me with compliments!! Moroccan Blue opens up very fresh,clean,but also with some really nice creamy woods! A user below described fresh linen and I full heartedly agree. I'd go one step further and say this smells like an aquatic scented detergent but in a great way ! I LOVE the sandalwood in this . If you are familiar with Mont Blanc Legend, I would say this smells like a modern blue Mont Blanc legend with added sandalwood. Moroccan Blue is actually WAY better than Legend and performs better as well . Performance-Moroccan Blue isn't the biggest projector but it does have a nice sillage and lasts on my skin 8-12 hours ! Overall rating - 8 out of 10 ! Very solid scent for warmer months but not the most original

Nice scent that I picked up since it was $30 AUD delivered, and the notes seemed appealing. The first few minutes are a little rough, especially when the fragrance is new. Once it has time to settle, it has a fresh and somewhat sweet aura to it and as time goes on it gets more floral and to an extent coconutty. It says that Oud and Agarwood are base notes; however I can barely detect any oud at all, which is a shame since oud can elevate a fragrance but at the same time, it makes this fragrance alot more versatile and mass-appealing. Office-safe fragrance at a really affordable price point, don't expect it to be nuclear in the performance and sillage department, though. 7.2/10

I didn't care for it at first. It starts out a little citrusy and woody. It then turns powdery and pretty much stays that way, which I'm not usually a fan of but it has grown on me. Everyone I work with always complimented me on it and I was like seriously? I kept wearing it until I liked it, and I do. It lasts forever. I still smell it on my shirts when I am getting ready to do laundry. It is inoffensive but I don't know if I would say it is a safe blind buy. The performance for the low price is definitely worth it to me.

Pretty good. Under the radar for sure, probably one of Lattafa's better fresh, spring/summer scents they have to offer. Balanced citrus opening, definitely has that familiar "blue" feel to it. Spices are noticeable but certainly not overbearing. Dries down to a smooth sandalwood and ambery base. Oud is listed in the note pyramind but I detect none. Moderate performance and easy going nature makes this a good everyday budget scent. Reminds me of Montblanc Legend EDP with added citrus.

I've been really impressed with Moroccan Blue. It has such a fresh, clean scent that instantly reminded me of Abercrombie's classic Fierce. If you love that iconic fragrance, this is a fantastic alternative. The longevity is great too; it stays on throughout the day without fading too quickly. Really pleased with this one and would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys fresh, bold scents!

On a paper test this leans strongly masculine to me. I can't place the exact notes but it seems like I'm getting some spices and some bergamot a little bit of sweet probably from the Amber and I'm getting the woods. I would probably enjoy this on my husband but it might be too much for me..

I have it land is long lasting, 8-10 hours, good for the gym, similar to ysl y edt, freshie, citrusy and somehow also a little bit of a blue fragance, oudy, loud, fresh, citrusy a little bit of this and little bit of that, but it works good for the summer a good bang for rhe budget.

Super basic blue scent, but smells good. I’d say it’s a safe blind buy for any dude who wants something cheap for summer/ spring. Can’t imagine anyone being offended by this. Found it at TJ Maxx for like $15.

Dehydration urine for the summertime heat with spices and blue undertone

This is a simple mass-appealing scent that you could wear in an office or being close. You can't say that it is intoxicating, sexy, strong, offensive, or memorable. No one is going to hate this fragrance, but no one is going to remember it either. It is a mild citrus (no sharp opening sourness) with warm spices, and soft powdery woody dry down. There is no funky oud smell whatsoever. I do get an iris note here. People who don't want anything loud will like this fragrance. It will be serviceably used in my collection, but there are so many other bottles I would reach for first. I get 6 hours of longevity, but the projection is very light and I get almost no sillage even with about 8 sprays. Beware the initial reviewer bots who upvoted this in likability and strength - Lattafa Marketing is at work.

The smell of Moroccan blue is boring. The scent smells good quality but it is boring, boring, boring. It could be used as a nice everyday scent for a boring office job or a boring day out. Although it is so boring I think this a phenomenal fragrance for teenage boys for a boring day in school especially because of the price. Any kid could afford it and it is decent quality for the price. The longevity is moderate but projection is quite strong. Whenever I do a single spray of this(on a boring day of course) everyone around me complains, maybe it's because I'm boring them with the scent, just joking. Anyway if you are a teenage guy who doesn't want to spend too much money to smell somewhat decent I would recommend this to you.

Not in the vein of Legend, Cobalt, or Fierce. It's a better version of those windex and piss smelling blue fragrances you find for $10 at Marshalls sitting on the shelf, but a wearable version of those. Might be better after aging, but I can't imagine it will get much better. *edit* Smells better on skin, but I still wouldn't rate it above 3.5/5

Loved this when I first got it. Smelled really good and mass appealing, it lasted a long time too. Now I get a headache/nausea whenever I smell it, especially in the opening. It's a good scent its just not for me anymore.

Horrid opening, after ten minutes it resolves itself and is fine. Smells like orange gummies with a mix of sweetness and citrusness

don't smell much of the spices nor oud that the notes says, it smells more floral and kind of powdery also smells very synthetic at the start, kind of like air freshener type smell overall it smells like an uncle fragrance tho smh

I'm gonna keep this short and sweet simply terrible 🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾. Fragrance is very subjective this is just my thoughts on this particular one. For those who enjoy this one in not hating keep enjoy it.

If anyone hasn’t noticed... this is a close interpretation myslf absolu even though I think this lattafa came out first. I’m going to attempt to layer or make a decant with adding ginger essential oil/ jojoba oil as a carrier/ morrocan blue and see if I can get that sparkling zest ginger out of this fragerance. Honestly myself absolu is super white floral due to the orange blossom, but I’m more about that ginger note . Just like it zesty if ya know what I mean 😅 This fragerance is really good even by its self. I’m gonna manipulate it because I like myslf absolu but don’t want to pay 220 dollars for a bottle when I can get everything I need in an Amazon cart . This one is a bit woodier at the base, not stinky. Great amount of spice and citrusy. Forgot what I sprayed on my hand at tj maxx after the dry down.... Couldn’t stop smelling and looked up the notes and that’s when the light bulb came on for YSL myslf absolu. Just gotta find the right ginger layer combo.

Y'all, I saw this perfume shop doing sales on some ME perfumes and since I've been seeing it everywhere on tiktok i decided to try it. I'm a lady so I bought mostly lady scents but before I left I decided to add Moroccan blue to my basket. I got home and tried it on my arm and good lorrrd it smells so good. It smells so good it makes me want to get a husband and gift this to him just so I can smell it on him. Super inoffensive, and has this kinda aquatic/ozonic(not listed idk why)note that is so well done I can't stop sniffing. And it's literally everlasting. I sprayed it on my hand yesterday afternoon, took a shower in the evening, now it's evening(next day)again and tell me why I can still smell it on my skin?? I'm literally going to start using it I don't care it if it's for men. It's so so so good and last way longer than all the other perfumes I got.

Picked this up at Burlington for 20 bucks... and honestly, I wish I hadn’t. I think I might’ve snagged a dud bottle because mine smells like someone tried to mix a light blue laundry detergent with a faint whiff of sulfur for fun. As promising as the note breakdown sounded, the scent itself lasts maybe ten minutes before it ghosts me completely — both on paper and skin. I’ve got plenty of other Lattafa fragrances I really enjoy, but this one just isn’t joining the club. I don’t think the other reviewers are making stuff up — I’m just sharing my personal experience here. I’ll update if anything changes (it’s been two weeks now) or if I come across another bottle that smells like what it should smell like.

Can’t believe it took me this long to pull the trigger on this wth! I asked my friend at work what he was wearing twice and he said moroccan blue.... It smelled so good! But i saw it at tj maxx yesterday and grabbed it for 17. Once i sprayed my hand my wife looked at me wide eyed and said oh my that smells really good... so my bottles from jan 2025 and i sprayed this after my shower and it was projecting really good for 2 hours then it settled in and lasted on my skin for a total of 8 hrs....love this scent profile...

Najdia Intense in different bottle. Lattafa is not new to this kind of cheap tricks and it's disappointing the hundreds of influencers omitted this. There is no citrus whatsoever so could it be possible they bottled the wrong perfume here? Or they bottled something else in the citrus bottles? Or some noses are simply shot? Or some reviewers just repeat what they read somewhere else? It's good but skip it if you have the other one or Cosmic Giardino, and $30 down the drain for me.

This is Adidas Shower Gel, smells exactly like that. I had that shower gel when I was in my 20s and it was so fresh and nice. This is exactly that smell but in a perfume and with a good performance. For the price you couldnt ask more. Rather have this than spend 300€ on Aventus to last 3h. Get it. Its blindbuy safe and really likeable
