Got Layaan yesterday. I really, really like this one. Have enjoyed it from the very first spray, and that is a rare experience for me, when it comes to arabian perfumes. I primarily smell the fruit notes. The pear is gorgeous! and the mandarin ads it a bit of youthful playfulness and zestyness, I think. The flowers a detectable, especially the jasmine, and the musk as well. It isn't a serious perfume. Not captivating or memorable, but it uplifts my mood and I find it quite charming. The downside to this perfume is that, on my skin, the scent only stays for a short while. Maybe maceration will improve the longevity. I will return in a months time, and tell whether that will be the case or not 😊

First spray ... opening was very green. I’m not very fond of green based scents. However with cool down I smell, the jasmine, white flowers and musk. Which I am very fond of. I’m really liking this. The bottle is very pretty and eyes catching for me. This perfume does put me very much in mind of the Emirates. Which I miss so much. I love this and would buy again when running ot. It’s a 10 outta 10 for me 🌟✨’s for me. Pretty bottle and great smell. Though different for me because I’m a oud girl. 10 outta 10 stars because I can smell the beauty of the Emirates in this bottle though it contains no oud. I don’t know about longevity yet. But the projection is really descent

This one... is very elegant right off the bat. I’m going to let her sit for a while, because I know how the middle eastern fragrances work. This really gives me Acqua Di Gioia vibes, but I’m not comparing it to that. It’s just that vibe. I don’t have anything like this one, really. It is not a sweet fragrance in any sense. I feel it’s very green and floral, and the citruses make it brighter, but it’s still so light and inoffensive. It’s like a floral water. I think it’s more of a fresh floral than a fruity floral. I’m very for it!!

my new favorite! i’ve been looking for something white floral x pear in the vein of LSF Forever in Love or Jo Malone Pear/Sweet Pea, and this is perfect. the pear adds like a subtle fresh greenness and it makes the whole bottle smell like walking into a flower shop on a spring day. great longevity: if i spray in my hair in the early morning, i’ll literally smell it while brushing my hair at 1 AM. so springy and sweet and feminine. more true floral than fruity floral IMO.

YOU NEED TO SPRAY THIS AND FORGET ABOUT IT FOR A COUPLE WEEKS. I was feeling unsure about it when I first got it (blind buy) and literally abandoned it for almost a month. Sprayed it this morning and I have been surrounded by a cloud of sweet white flowers and pear for 6h and counting. Delicious nuclear bomb, will be jumping to my absolute favourites shelf.

Upon first spray, this is a classic fruity floral fragrance. It is light and sweet, but not cloying. It isn't very strong nor does it perform well; however, I didn't expect it to right out of the box. This is a Middle Eastern perfume. It needs to mature. I will revisit this in 6 mos. I sense it will be very different then.

I love love love it!!!! It's a beautiful captivating sweet and musky scent. I sampled it at the beauty supply store where it was priced at $50.00 which I thought was pretty high. The scent was so addictive that I went back the very next day and found it on sale 50% off at $25.00.!!!!! Yes!!!!!!!!!

What a fresh and airy floral scent. It’s juicy and fruity as you spray it in the beginning but then becomes floral. It’s a very feminine and pretty scent. Haven’t worn it outside so can’t comment on the sillage and longevity but it’s a summer banger. Lovely 🥰

Gorgeous jasmine and gardenia forward fragrance. Very feminine and fresh. Not too sweet. Perfect from the first spray! I love it!

First sniff was a no. Came back to it several weeks later and OMG the fresh white florals opened and I fell IN LOVE.

Very soft beautiful scent. There is no rose in it but smells like rose.

This is a nice perfume. It's opens up with a strong pear which I'm not crazy about. Eventually it settles into a pleasant fresh floral. The fruitiness is still there but definitely in the background. It's an easy scent to wear, suitable for spring and summer in my opinion. My super picky husband really likes this one. Longevity and sillage are moderate. I prefer beast mode perfumes. Need to wear it more before I decide if it's a repurchase.

Those who are looking for a white floral and slightly fruity ME perfume, try this one! This is floral feminine and more summer spring forward. In the opening green pear dominates but later dries down to floral with mild sweetness. The bottle is stunning

Pear, Gardenia, Jasmine, and Musk. These are the most predominant notes. There is a green freshness from the pear, and a waxy, powdery quality to the gardenia and jasmine. The white florals do err into vintage territory in how they perform; the gardenia is very 80s. The mandarin adds a slight touch of citrus freshness, and compliments the white florals in a way that smells like orange blossom. This fragrance is both 1950s level of powdery floral, like powder puff makeup, with a slightly juicy freshness that is more modern. It’s in a nice limbo that doesn’t fall into either category, but it does lean more towards that vintage end. The mental associations with powdery florals to an earlier time where rose was more prevalent, the dewiness of the added mandarin which also leads one to think of a flower garden early in the morning, may have been the reason for the design choice of this bottle. It does at least somewhat resemble a rose garden. In that same breath, there is a weird funk I pick up on sometimes from this fragrance that resembles a deodorized underarm. There’s something about the jasmine and musk that can be a bit... human, and I can’t wear this every day. Layaan can be very intimate with only one or two sprays, and can build up to a nice 6ft projection with a small trail. I want to say it is small enclosure safe and inoffensive, yet the dated white florals have me wondering otherwise. I’m unsure to rate this as a safe blind buy. It is inoffensively offensive. At least don’t carry the lid, it looks like a prolapsed... 😬

Simple, generic and very feminine white floral scent. Nothing special in my opinion. Don’t get the musk or wood base and I’ve worn this a lot. However, projection and longevity are amazing. I have to admit that. Would consider this quite a youthful scent (teen or 20s). Overall, I do regret this purchase as I feel there are many other more special options available. But if you’re looking for a very simple and generic white floral with beast performance, go for it.

I get Jazmine Jazmine Jazmine , I feel like a walking Jazmine while wearing it , seems like you’re walking through a Jazmine and gardenia yard, pretty realistic If you wanna smell like Jazmine, this is for you. It’s a pretty scent but I don’t reach for it often , I guess you have to be in the mood for it , nevertheless, beautiful Jazmine scent

Linear soapy synthetic floral that is in no way memorable. For the price point, it's perfect though. It's good for putting on to got buy some groceries and run some errands on a nice summer's day, or maybe wear to the office as it is not offensive in any way. I would not wear this on a night out or a date though.

I also didn't like it at first spray, in the air smelled sweet and I do not like even remotely sweet perfumes but on skin it turns more of a sweetened floral tea like scent, it's pretty everyday casual scent. Something I would expect from Victoria's secret.

I think it's because of the jasmine that has this coming off as gasoline or bug spray for some people. I love white florals but even this one was a little weird for me. It also has a rubbery base and no rose which is funny cos of the bottle choice.

I really like the notes but the gardenia is reading so green and powdery on me its almost a celery smell. Disappointed but everyone can't wear everything. I'm going to let it sit for a bit and try again. Pretty bottle, hideous cheap plastic top.

The beginning is sweet fruity and light, suites summer very well, but at the drydown there is that screechy musc note the same note as in mayar nature perfume but a bet softer but unfortunately still headache inducing ....

A beautiful, beautiful bottle! Very pleasant, fresh floral scent. First spray, straight from the package - to me it smells like a mix of Moschino Funny and Lanvin Eclat d'Arpège.

Tried this one in person at a fragrance store that carries Middle Eastern brands. This scent is soapy floral that is similar (not a dupe, maybe second cousins) to Philosophy Pure Grace. Unfortunately Layaan smells very sharp and surprisingly cheap and I can't recommend it for that reason. I do think Pure Grace is worth the money, especially as you can find it for the same price as Layaan at discount stores or grey market websites. But Layaan is a pass.

so Im told that Lataffa perfumes have to sit for a while, or macerate, well Layaan 'has been' macerating a while now, and though I can pick up floral notes 'now', when I first got it and sprayed it, it smelled like strait up Raid. Not getting the hype over Lataffa perfumes.

On paper, this isn't typically my style, but since I love every single one of the notes and the bottle is a total masterpiece, I just had to go for it. And oh my god... from the very first sniff, my jaw dropped—it’s that good! 😍 This is a gorgeous, juicy pear and white floral miracle. It’s elegant and sophisticated: even though it’s packed with jasmine, lily of the valley, and gardenia, the fruitiness remains the star of the show. This is going to be the perfect spring scent. It's already a beastmode scent, unwashable 🌸 I can already see myself wearing this in a floral dress, walking through the park and eating ice cream. I love it! Update, it reminds me of Attar Collection Hayati, no idea why, I have both and feel very similar... Nothing common tho, but still ...🤷🏽

Is this supposed to be a Lola dupe? It's extremely light wearing. Don't smell much of anything until about 15 min after applications (via overspray af). I get a sweet pear with a soft floral background. Difficult to pick out which florals. Not powdery, not roses, peony?? I'm not sure as I don't know what peony smells like, exactly. Whatever it is, it's quite lovely. Very feminine and fresh vibe. Picture wearing a long flowing sundress and a big floppy hat, on a warm Spring day, walking through a big beautiful meadow of perfect, brightly colored flowers. There's Smelling a soft breeze and you're getting hints of all the different smells. You pick a few to save for a brightly scented, mildly fruity sweet bouquet. That feeling is this fragrance.

The Bottle! Beautiful. Despite the beautiful rose on the cap, it does NOT smell like roses and does not have rose listed as a fragrance note. Layaan IS a floral scent that leads with Green Pear and Mandarin. The other floral notes: Gardenia, Jasmine & Lily of the Valley lend themselves to make Layaan the prettiest fragrance I bought this year! I don't yet smell much musk or cedarwood notes but if you know Lattafa fragrances, they bloom after the first sprays. Layaan is perfect for an everyday wear to work or whatever you got going on.

This is a beautiful woody floral to my nose. I think this was promoted incorrectly as being a fruity floral so the negative reviews are likely people are disappointed when it wasn't that. Layaan opens with a lovely pear but on me is quite short lived. The florals are are really enjoyable, they come across soft, clean and with a hint of green. I also find the woody and musky base is noticeable throughout the whole fragrance wear. It is a fragrance that I am really enjoying wearing.

I wish the cap was a simple round glass transparent cap! The bottle would look perfect like that! I honestly don’t like the juice that much. It’s like a generic sugary fruity rose water to my nose ( despite of what is listed here) that doesn’t remind me of anything nor it evokes any feelings in me. I guess it’s just not my cup of tea

I purchased Layaan when it was first released. When it arrived, it unfortunately had a distinctly gasoline opening. I considered an immediate declutter but let it sit for almost six months. Perfume jail redemption story made short - she's a pear forward white floral with good performance. Layers perfectly with BBW Pink Chiffon.

It does not resemble Idole by Lancome in the slightest! It is a juicy fruity-floral with dominant green pear accord and lily-of-the-valley. Fresh but not too fresh. It smells like juice tastes. Lasts pretty well and is pleasant for the entire year. I had a pleasant day in it. It does not resemble typical arabic perfumery.

What an ugly bottle! Urgh I’m tempted to throw the cap away not to see this atrocity. The scent is lovely though, it’s not a bomb of a fragrance, stays close to skin but nevertheless, for the price it is a no brainer for those who love fresh florals rather than heady ones

It kind of smells like a sour fruit at the same time it smells like chocolate covered flowers, very sexy very sexual. It doesn’t smell like anything I have smelled before.

I heard a Youtuber comparing this to Jasminum Sambac Chloé, as apparently they dry down very similarly. Can anyone else compare these? I'm a jasmin fanatic :)

It is beautiful and It doesnt remind me of anything, but i didnt expect It to be so powdery. If It was juicier i would have fallen in love
