I bought the little 20 ml bottle because I had zero concept of what these notes would smell like together ( I think this might be my first turmeric note perfume) , but this is amazing! Wow! This would layer well with Ginger Babe by Aroma Concepts. This is a good perfume for late summer/ early fall during the day and a good summer evening perfume in general. Edit: Ok so it’s a month and a couple of weeks after my initial review and this is a lovely white floral with some spice and a touch of green mango that has a very woody/musky base AKA heaven to my nose! If you hate white florals - and *especially* if your nose is sensitive to indoles( I.e. you smell shit or decay in white florals) - then don’t purchase this! This isn’t a safe blind buy unless you love white florals. It reminds me of Gucci Bloom, but more interesting.( I love Gucci Bloom, btw).

Oh boy, I've got this thing macerated, and let me tell you this, it's very different than when it just came. For some reason, before, the mango note was very subtle. It was like a mango pulp mixed with turmeric, ginger, and black pepper with white florals around it. Now, it still has these notes. However, the mango beautifully matured into this fresh, ripe mango. It feels like it was born from God of Fire DNA, then graduated from college, and then became a venerable member of society. Other aspects like florals became more dense and creamy, while spices toned down and blended with the overall scent profile better. The performance I get is around 6 hrs, perfectly unisex, but white florals can be unusual for men. Perfect for home, dates, fancy venues. Less great at places where sophisticated and complex scents are not welcome, like office or gym.

This is an excellent dupe for Memo Paris - Madurai, pretty much smells 1-1. Leen is long-lasting with great sillage, beautiful and well-blended. Safe for office as an energizing, daytime perfume. Although it naturally belongs to spring/summer wear due to its brightness and freshness, I would not hesitate wearing it all year round. It is not sweet at all, it keeps the bergamot/peppery notes long into the drydown. Leen can easily pass as a French fragrance. I do not detect it to be a budget Arabic house fragrance at all, contrary to almost any other popular Lattafa scent. I dare say this is one of Lattafa's most successful and sophisticated blends. Totally a safe blind-buy if you like fresh, green and elegant perfumes, and especially if you love Madurai but do not feel like paying its exorbitant price.

10/10. This is an extremely rare score for me, especially when it comes to feminine-leaning fragrances. I was so pleasantly surprised by the beautiful balance of floral and sweet notes on my skin. The drydown is particularly gorgeous, developing a dark-roast coffee aroma that wasn't officially listed in the notes. This is more than a crush—this is love at first sniff for me. And the bottle? The frosted glass design is absolutely stunning. I also want to add that I've been looking for a femme scent that expresses Sampaguita (Philippines national flower) also known as Aarabian jasmine, Jasmin sambac. This does it flawlessly without the heaviness. Huge thanks to Dr. Ruqayya Abba Tofa for the article a week or so ago! Would never have found out about this fragrance if it wasn't for reading that.

To me, it reminds me a bit of Clinique Happy on the opening. It's very fresh, "clean girl" like, fresh linen, slightly citrusy bright scent. I don't detect any pepper whatsoever. A slight mango is definitely there, and it comes off very naturally, like a tropical flower. It's not your everyday scent, definitely "girly" and interesting spring fragrance. The dry down is a nice surprise , it develops into a strange concoction that I kept thinking "is this what this simple scent evolved into". I guess it mutates into a more complex scent that's hard to describe, but unfortunately becomes much more muted. I think the loud florals quiet down in about 15-30 minutes. And then this more complex scent emerges that remains with you for the rest of the day. I think this one is a hidden gem!
