I bought the little 20 ml bottle because I had zero concept of what these notes would smell like together ( I think this might be my first turmeric note perfume) , but this is amazing! Wow! This would layer well with Ginger Babe by Aroma Concepts. This is a good perfume for late summer/ early fall during the day and a good summer evening perfume in general. Edit: Ok so it’s a month and a couple of weeks after my initial review and this is a lovely white floral with some spice and a touch of green mango that has a very woody/musky base AKA heaven to my nose! If you hate white florals - and *especially* if your nose is sensitive to indoles( I.e. you smell shit or decay in white florals) - then don’t purchase this! This isn’t a safe blind buy unless you love white florals. It reminds me of Gucci Bloom, but more interesting.( I love Gucci Bloom, btw).

Oh boy, I've got this thing macerated, and let me tell you this, it's very different than when it just came. For some reason, before, the mango note was very subtle. It was like a mango pulp mixed with turmeric, ginger, and black pepper with white florals around it. Now, it still has these notes. However, the mango beautifully matured into this fresh, ripe mango. It feels like it was born from God of Fire DNA, then graduated from college, and then became a venerable member of society. Other aspects like florals became more dense and creamy, while spices toned down and blended with the overall scent profile better. The performance I get is around 6 hrs, perfectly unisex, but white florals can be unusual for men. Perfect for home, dates, fancy venues. Less great at places where sophisticated and complex scents are not welcome, like office or gym.

This is an excellent dupe for Memo Paris - Madurai, pretty much smells 1-1. Leen is long-lasting with great sillage, beautiful and well-blended. Safe for office as an energizing, daytime perfume. Although it naturally belongs to spring/summer wear due to its brightness and freshness, I would not hesitate wearing it all year round. It is not sweet at all, it keeps the bergamot/peppery notes long into the drydown. Leen can easily pass as a French fragrance. I do not detect it to be a budget Arabic house fragrance at all, contrary to almost any other popular Lattafa scent. I dare say this is one of Lattafa's most successful and sophisticated blends. Totally a safe blind-buy if you like fresh, green and elegant perfumes, and especially if you love Madurai but do not feel like paying its exorbitant price.

10/10. This is an extremely rare score for me, especially when it comes to feminine-leaning fragrances. I was so pleasantly surprised by the beautiful balance of floral and sweet notes on my skin. The drydown is particularly gorgeous, developing a dark-roast coffee aroma that wasn't officially listed in the notes. This is more than a crush—this is love at first sniff for me. And the bottle? The frosted glass design is absolutely stunning. I also want to add that I've been looking for a femme scent that expresses Sampaguita (Philippines national flower) also known as Aarabian jasmine, Jasmin sambac. This does it flawlessly without the heaviness. Huge thanks to Dr. Ruqayya Abba Tofa for the article a week or so ago! Would never have found out about this fragrance if it wasn't for reading that.

To me, it reminds me a bit of Clinique Happy on the opening. It's very fresh, "clean girl" like, fresh linen, slightly citrusy bright scent. I don't detect any pepper whatsoever. A slight mango is definitely there, and it comes off very naturally, like a tropical flower. It's not your everyday scent, definitely "girly" and interesting spring fragrance. The dry down is a nice surprise , it develops into a strange concoction that I kept thinking "is this what this simple scent evolved into". I guess it mutates into a more complex scent that's hard to describe, but unfortunately becomes much more muted. I think the loud florals quiet down in about 15-30 minutes. And then this more complex scent emerges that remains with you for the rest of the day. I think this one is a hidden gem!

I absolutely love this scent now, but I completely understand what some people are saying about it. When I first got it, it had a very screechy note that honestly ruined the whole fragrance for me. I was so disappointed. Instead of decluttering it, I let it sit and would revisit it every few months. That harsh note lingered for quite a while, but after about a year and a half, something finally clicked. It has matured into a beautiful, smooth, addictive fragrance that I can’t stop smelling. It’s one of those perfumes that keeps drawing your nose back to your wrist. So if you’re not loving it right now, it might be worth giving it some time. And if you decide it needs a new home after all... well, you know where to find me. 😉

This is one of the most underrated scents from Lattafa in my opinion. But I get why it’s not a crowd pleaser. When I first smelled it, I was hit by a wave of nostalgia. It reminded strongly of a floral perfume that I can’t remember exactly which one from the late 90s to early 2000s. It’s in the same scent family as the original J’adore, Glamorous by Ralph Lauren and Beautiful by Estée Lauder. But it has its own unique features. It is predominantly a white floral scent. Honestly I wouldn’t buy this for the mango, as it’s not very noticeable, just adding a touch of fruity sweetness. The spices, sandalwood and incense are beautiful in this. Gorgeous scent. Just not for everyone as it’s not particularly sweet or modern.

I didn’t like it that much from the get go. It was an ok situation for me. A year later I think I might actually love it. Guess my taste shifted a bit. This is a perfect spring fragrance. Unripe dusted mango with a fresh clean feeling coming from the white flowers. The light woods in the base blend into something almost green tea-ish. There is just a little bit of tender sweetness but just a hint. It’s not too loud but also not a skin scent. Today I layered it over Musamam White Intense - the combo is a dream🤩

To me, the mango is there to soften everything rather than stand out on its own. As it settles, I get more jasmine together with the herbal, spicy freshness. Everything feels smooth and beautifully blended. To me, this is a very fresh herbal jasmine fragrance with a soft touch of mango. It's elegant, different, and I can't stop smelling my wrist. ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

Another unique Lattafa's creation that I happen to love and respect. So well put together, despite varies notes. I can not distinguish turmeric or ginger here, perhaps they contribute to longevity, which is great, along with the projection. It is like smelling/wearing green dusty mango, and osmanthus with peppery kick. You realise straight away it is one of a kind fragrance, that will make you stand out of the crowd and feel regal. More of those, Lattafa, please!

This is such a good take on a mango fragrance. With so many mango fragrances on the market, this one stands out as quite unique with more of a green mango, turmeric, ginger, and well balanced white florals. For me, it is quite special and I enjoy wearing it. It has great performance and projection and also garner compliments. A must try if you are looking for something a bit different.

Such a spicy, unique green mango, heady white floral fragrance. I received the 20ml for free with my Lattafa TikTok shop purchases and it wasn't a favorite at first sniff (she is BOLD), I am absolutely loving this on hot summery days, especially when layered with khair Felicity because they turn into something absolutely magical together.

I adore Leen! It’s delightfully green and fresh/spicy. It has good projection and longevity, and stays fairly linear throughout (which I actually like). As others have said, this is also a great option for layering- it instantly corrects scents that lean “too sweet.” It’s not a safe blind buy for everyone, but a blind buy win for me!

Love love love this one. Very similar to Oppulent Dubai. I've never smelled God of Fire but this is supposed to be mimicking that one. Fresh out of the shower clean. I like this on my husband as well. Great unisex frag. I bought a back up bottle, JIC.

Not a dupe of anything I’m aware of. Just a really fresh, floral scent with very subtle spice and a warm pretty drydown. An easy reach. I’ve often been choosing Leen over my perfumes that cost 10x more this summer. Good stuff.

I love Leen, quite underrated and not much talked about. The perfectly blended white florals and subtle mango scent makes this an easy reach fragrance. I love to layer this with Vintage Radio. Office safe.

I love it for Spring! Reminds me of one of those fresh Yves Rocher EDC from a couple decades ago, but with an "exotic", richer, more mature twist.

Top 5 underrated Lattafa, nothing to do with God of Fire.

It smells fresh. I imagine that comes from the ginger flower, along with mango. But this is not a fully ripe mango; it’s more like a mango just before peak ripeness. You really have to like these two notes. This is not a tropical, beachy, sunny mango. It’s a mango designed to feel more grown-up, without being playful or summery in that obvious way. Perfect for spring, summer, and even autumn. It’s versatile and I would say easy to like. I don’t own anything in my collection that smells similar to this. It’s great to have the option of a mango that doesn’t smell like a tropical drink. It’s a clean perfume, easy to wear, completely uncomplicated. You put it on and it gives you good vibes, like spring has started, without being a stereotypical “spring perfume.” It opens with moderate projection, then becomes quite intimate, and lasts around g hours on clothes.

I do like it and especially enjoy the mango and white flower notes in it. This doesn't smell too peppery or spicy on my skin. It has a similar DNA to a perfume my mother used to wear decades ago, Lauren by Ralph Lauren. I feel like I would reach for this when needing to feel bold and confident. I can see how this can significantly go "wrong" on different types of body chemistry. Overall, it's strong, classy but extremely versatile.

This will sound strange, but this gives me the same vibe as Coconut Fizz, discontinued by Guerlain. It has that same fresh, spa-like feeling. It's got better lasting power, for sure. If you've got a light coconut fragrance to layer over the top, it may give you a very close scent profile to CF. This is also lovely on its own.

fresh, like a ginger shot. very nice and aromatic, great for spring, very interesting and different DNA from Lattafa. this layers really well with bade'e al oud honor and glory, a fruity tropical spicy combo. lovely!

The perfume Leen struck me immediately as a likeable work scent. It is an uncomplicated, unobtrusive scent that is an easy reach for the office.

At first, it smelled more herbaceous with some slight florals, which usually isn't my jam but it was ok. I didn't dislike it. I figured it can be layered with something with more presence or sweetness. But then as it fully dried down, all I got from it was celery juice. I never knew what people meant when they say a perfume smells like celery until I tried Leen. I'm going to give it some time to mature before I decide if I'll declutter. Smells absolutely nothing like God of Fire or Opulent Dubai to me.

I don't get fruity from this at all. It just smells like the colour green. For context, I've been letting this sit for almost a year, but it's not any better. The mango note in this is deceitful because I don't get that at all. It smells like garden eggs to me. And someone said it smells like opulent dubai, but I disagree. I can see how this perfume may seem nice to some people, but it's just not my cup of tea. It's definitely far from being blind buy safe.

Not for me at all. I got a free sample of it when I ordered Atheeri, definetly has solidified that I'm not into spicy fragrances LOL. If you like spicy then you'll like this. The mango and bergamot goes way too quickly in my opnion and you are left with a spice cabinet. Literally, smells like a spice cabinet on my skin

This fragrance is the first one I purchased from this brand, because of the osmanthus note. I think because I bought this in one of our local Arabian perfume stores, I imagined something in this fragrance that wasn't truly there. This smells so sweet on me and I do not like sweet fragrances :/

Just received this and wasn’t expecting too much. I was wrong!!! It’s very unique and I don’t have anything like Leen. Exotic is what comes to mind when I smell it. Can’t wait to wear it on vacation

This one has a lot of difficult notes. Ginger, turmeric, pepper, tuberose, incense? The combo is not pleasant and yes it gives rotten fruit.....Not blind buy safe at all, but it is pretty cheap.

Leen is an unique and sophisticated scent, with an elaborate profile, both soothing and stimulating. However, anyone considering buying this blindly must understand its true nature. Leen is much less sweet and gourmand than its notes might suggest. Rather, every note here leans green and dry. The mango found here is a green, resinous, unripe mango. The ginger is not candied. It gives dry heat, ...with pepper, black and pink, adding more sharpness. The florals do slowly add some sweetness in the drydown, ...but less than usual, less than you might think. ...and that unusual note of turmeric stays mild, earthy, and subtle, as it always does. Still, as far as green fragrances go, Leen is hardly an extreme example. If one can abide the likes of Amethyst or Meliora, then Leen may seem quite mild in comparison. Those who can appreciate what Leen offers will be rewarded with a scent of refined complexity, ...but those who seek only a sugary, tropical fruit cocktail will likely be sorely disappointed. In Arabic, the word Leen (لين) translates as softness, or gentleness. Perhaps that does not quite fit the opening, ...but there is a point in the drydown where it does become an apt moniker.

Sweet Spiced mango, tropical florals & hot garbage. I wanted to like this.... I own Madurai. The fragrance this perfume is often compared to as a “dupe “. This is close. They share a sweetness, fleshy ripe fruit, white florals... but where Madurai is unbelievably smooth and luxurious, Leen is screechy & unpleasant. There is also an unfortunate note that comes out in the dry-down & it reminds me of trash. Like mangos rotting on the side of the road. I genuinely wish I didn’t smell it. Maybe it’s the combination of white florals and ginger with the sweetness of mango... but this smells like Madurai after a “dumpster dive”. I’m decluttering this because I literally can’t wear it without catching whiffs of what my brain perceives as trash. Super disappointing. Definitely not a “dupe”. I was hoping for something similar to Madurai with a mango twist. Not rotting mangos in an open air market. Hard pass.

My review is a conglomeration of every review below....and above.... if there are additional reviews in the future. I'll add this: I like *LEEN* as a Layering Base. Chose one of the notes (Tuberose, Mango, Jasmine, Sandalwood or, of course, Vanilla, Tonka....I'm sure a few others) and spray, overspray and spray away. You'll create something new and wonderful and different. To me....that's the gift of *LEEN*. The bottle is very substantive....heavy. The sprayer is just damn fine. How can you go wrong for $30? Try it. UPDATE: I gifted my bottle to my Primary Care MD's receptionist (along with two other open perfumes). She loved it....loves them.

Ok, I will try out this one a few times more, bearing in mind Vicar_1024:s lovely review below. But, my first impression was that this is spot on the scent of one of the classic 80ies/90ies schampoos! Plus a bit of weird smokiness in the first ten or so minutes. Maybe my nose is broken today. But if you wanna reminisce the scent of a bathroom from long ago, this just might be it!

I mostly get ginger and a green mango against a background of white florals. The ginger and green fruits gives this a spa like quality for me. It definitely leans feminine. I enjoy wearing it in warm, but not hot, weather. Office friendly and generally pleasing to those around you. An unusual, lightly spiced, take on a fruity floral fragrance for sure.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but layering this with Guidance or the dupe is honestly next level
