Liam Blue Shine

Imagine this, you just bought a brand new Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio your creepin around town flashin your gold for the pimps, hoes and players. (You dont mess with no heffers) You curb your rims at the ATM while pullin out some C-Notes to go break some hoes in the sunshine. You get back in your ride (no time for player haters) and as you burn rubber pulling out of the bank, you reach for a scent. Theres two in your extremely small back seats. First one is Drakkar Noir, you pull the cap off and give it a whiff. The smell makes your swerve into oncoming traffic but its not your problem, these people shouldnt be driving on the same road you drive on. As you fumble for the other scent you hit speed bumps that you dont remember being there. You pull out Lattafa's Liam Blue Shine pull out the cap and take in a giant whiff. MMMhhmmm you mutter to yourself. Hoes gonna love this. As you spray it 40 times on your shirt, you day dream about Howard Stern while going 100 down I40

I have been waiting and waiting to be able to wear this. I needed to let it mature for a solid month because it just wasn't ready. After a week or so I could pick up the Aqua di Gio DNA, then could make out Profondo a week or so later, and now a couple weeks after that believe this to not be a direct clone but a hybrid of Profondo EDT, EDP, and Profondo Parfum -- it finally started to get sweeter and more resinous like the Parfum, but retained more of the citrus open of the EDT and aquatic saltiness of the EDP. It ended up being a great pickup and went from barely lasting 30 minutes to 5-6 hours longevity offering arguably some of the best aspects of those three Profondos mentioned. If you absolutely need the minerality of Profonodo you may be disappointed because it's not a 1:1 but judging it by itself this is great.

To my nose... Having never smelled ADG in any of it's varieties, I can only comment on this fragrance as its own thing. This is a bright, fresh, masculine leaning fragrance that has a hint of tropical about it. It's clean, not like a blue shower gel but in a slightly sour way, like bitter citrus fresh. Very much a warm weather, daytime fragrance. Great for a summer holiday with a beach vibe. Performance wise, it's not exactly great. This lasts me maybe 2 - 3 hours before it's a close skin scent, so regular top-ups will be required if you're out for a while. Value is good, I bought this for £23 and I'm happy to reapply with wild abandon. And best of all, I get compliments when I wear this which is what we all want. Right?

Great product from Lattafa. At this point with Lattafa releases I don't even know whether it's a clone anymore. It is just a great modern blue aromatic scent with a very nice presentation, great atomiser, good projection and longevity with a fantastic sillage Yes it resembles ADG profondo but also Dolce gabbana light blue eau intense and ADG EDP. So basically like half of the blue scents out there. For me it has a blue greenish vibes with aromatic touches simmilar to ADG Edp. I think it is a great release. I bought mine for £17.99 on ebay. It came in a lovely box, bottle is lush and fragrance is a banger And when it macerates like all Lattafas do it will be a fantastic choice for spring and summer

I bought this for my husband and it is gorgeous. He has Aqua de Gio Profundo and they are incredibly similar. I think Liam Blue Shine is ever so slightly spicier but the similarity is very real. Longevity is good and spillage quite strong. He sprayed it twice into the air and you can even smell it upstairs. It has also, when he sprayed it on himself, with stood a shower. The musk/amber/patchouli dry down is more musk/amber. The patchouli is just enough to bring out the other scents without being forward. This could easily be a unisex fragrance but I would say it leans more masculine than feminine but it is too herbally for my personal use. Definitely smells good on him though. A good buy.

#1 This perfume is one of the best Lattafa perfumes, which did not enjoy wide fame like its brothers from the Lattafa brand. The fragrance is very refreshing and carries the DNA of the original Acqua Di Gio and is almost identical to the Profondo version. There are some who faced a problem with the performance of the perfume, but I find it to be an appropriate performance for summer. fragrance, and given its price and the purity of the quality of the perfume, I find it a bargain. I find that it is better than its relative, the Alhambra Jorge di Profondo, and I think it will always become one of my favorites for the summer. Scent : 10/10 Performance : 7.5/10 Overall : 9/10

This is pretty good! Got the ADG Profondo scent profile and vibe, the opening is a little sweeter but then it gets super close. Easy to wear/like with good quality. Performs way better than I expected, 7 hour or so of longevity, more than I can ask for given that I paid less than $20 to get it. Just get this if you want to smell like Profondo for less.

Although the performance is average, I have to say this is one of the best scents made by Lattafa. I really enjoy this fragrance and it got me the most compliments, suitable for everyday use it very elegant and classy in my opinion and a very easy to wear. Its the best simple freshie in my collection.

Well... this is acqua di gio profondo. Legendary scent worth every penny. They did a crazy job on this one it is spot on, im a huge sucker for the ADG line, and this one is a masterpiece that replicates profondo flawlessly from start to the end. Blind buy worthy ? Definitely.

I don't want to admit it but, it's pretty damn good! Smells like Acqua De Gio Profondo but less salty. The quality of this one is surprisingly better and smoother than other Lattafa fragrances. Smooth, effervescent, refreshing, cooling, and beautifully priced. 8/10!

I LOVE this on my husband. It's a room filler when you first spray it and then you'll smell it from probably a couple feet away and lasts all day. It comes in a nice bottle and sturdy box. It's such a fresh, masculine, slightly citrusy-sweet easy to wear cologne.

tbh for the price the perfume is crazy, and i haven’t smelled recently profondo but i think its similar. and all the people who say that it doesn’t stay for a long time they need to macerate the fragrance. btw mine came macerated so no problems here.

This is hidden gem it’s a blind buy for summer and this thing is good longevity is good silage is also good and the best part is the price it’s very cheap Longevity is around 5 to 7 hours Projection and silage is around 2 hours

This is a combo of BDC EDP + ADG Profondo, with Lattafa's own twist. This is a fantastic blind buy and addition to your collection if you like blue fragrances. Fresh and you can't beat the price.

this is my signature day time and summer season scent and really fits the weather here in the Philippines...it lasts 6hrs on me and more on clothes....it smells fresh and manly non offensive way

Nice ADG DNA in this. Nice bottle too. Great fragrance for hot spring and summer day. You gotta let this one sit tho. Smell definitely improved after having it for about a year. 8/10 banger 🔥

Very good fragrance in terms of the smell, but the longevity and sillage (performance) is ehhh, it doesnt last long, but I've got compliments on it and after a month or two, it's better.

A good mix BDC Edp + ADG Profondo, Slightly harsh opening, but the dry down is cool. Average longevity and sillage. For the price under 20$ is a good bargain

2nd best profondo clone behind chrome extreme. Both are excellent. Chrome extreme is just a little bit better overall. For 20$ no brainer.

This is a really great fresh marine fragrance for summer. Would recommend. Blind buy safe.

It's extremely pleasant and refreshing to wear, it works for all ages and sexes, and goes great in warmer weather. It's a citrus fragrance, you know exactly what you're getting here. As with all fragrances using natural citrus oils as a base, performance will be lower than expected due to an absence of longer lasting synthetics. Expect average to low performance and be prepared to overspray on first application and then respray occasionally throughout the day. This is a great value at a very affordable price, so it should be easy to replenish. There's a ton of citrus fragrances out on the market it competes with, so the excellent price and value are the main selling points here. Recommended, especially for citrus lovers.

I'm wearing Liam Blue Shine for the first time today. I have an 8 hour indoor work shift. My workplace is usually a very cold building so I guess I can wear any scent since heat and sweat are not a factor. The first time you spray it you will get hit with a strong citrus scent but give it around 5-10 min and the freshness will show itself. You'll get a fresh, aquatic type of spring/summer scent. It's very bright and uplifting so I'm sure the fresh citrus notes will hold up well outdoors in the spring and summer heat. As I'm writing this I'm already 4 hours in since I first applied it and unfortunately it's down to a skin scent for me. The good news is that I live close enough to go home everyday for my lunch break so I will be reapplying this fragrance. It did project for the first 2 hours but after that into the 3rd and 4th hour I could only smell it if I pulled my shirt forward and searched for the scent. I like really loud projecting scents so I might have to double up on the amount of sprays because I really do like the scent but I want others to be able to smell it too.

This perfume is a really safe option due to its price and its mass appealing scent. The longevity depnds on how many sprays you put on your body. The reason I bought this perfume was because I wanted to find a cheaper alternative to Versace Pour Homme, well not that perfume exactly but any Arabian freshies that branch out into that kind of scent profile. This is clearly a dupe of ADG Profondo, which I smelled LIam Blue Shine first, then ADG. It was at Sephora, so it was quite crowded and I sprayed a lot of fragrances at that time, so I can't quite grasp on how similar it was, but it almost smelled the same as Liam Blue Shine. If I had to compare Versace and Lattafa's -- Versace would definitely be the winner, but Lattafa clears in the price tag. I'm trying my best to not fall in the luxury trap, and getting the best value for money in any perfume. This might not be the most unique fresh perfume ever, but it does the job done -- all you need is a few extra sprays here and there, and is especially perfect for hot weather.

Update: I got a new bottle of this, first of all, i blame the shipping on my courier, but it came bursting and leaking. The juice has tons of particles, and when compared to my old liam blue, despite being newer, this juice is darker and more ambery in color. After i cleaned the atomizer up, i realized it was just evaporation, the fragrance is not leaking. Anyhow, this mess of circumstances may have macerated my bottle faster than even having it and using it could. As a result, my new bottle is twice as strong as my old bottle. This is not saying much tho since it went from 2hrs to 5-6 hours with greater projection. Smell is pretty much 1:1 profondo with a slight boost of rosemary (which i absolutely adore) and a slightly lower dose of minerality. Great buy if $20-$25, i recommend 5 sprays for casual situations or 10-12 for going out, btw this DNA shines in the night, try it and prove me right.

I think it is unfair to expect hyper-performance from every fragrance, particularly fresh and aromatic types, which are often inherently ephemeral. The performance (specifically the longevity and projection) will depend in part on the molecular makeup and the volatility of the compounds used that make up the fragrance you otherwise enjoy, and the perceived "lack" of performance should at minimum not be hastily attributed to inferior ingredients or faulty construction. That said, this fragrance is fresh, marine and carries a rosemary note that makes it unique to someone inexperienced in fragrance, but is common and shared across similar designer fragrances. The profile is perfect for professionals seeking an office safe fragrance, and it is also age agnostic. As a helpful note, if you enjoy ADG Profondo, you will like this as well, but expect there to be a similarity only, not a cloning.

This smells identical to Profondo, no difference to my nose, the original might be more marine salty, but other than that, this might be the most accurate recreation from Lattafa. 1:1 Scent profile. Performance: I went to a perfume store and tried Jean Lowe Ombre (LV ON dupe) on the back of my right hand, Tres Nuit Lyric (Profondo dupe) on the right arm and this on the left arm, and I must say that despite the spray coming from a small decant this stayed on my skin for around 6 hours even after a shower, while the Armaf disappeared sooner. Projection was good also since despite the fact that I was wearing a heavy oud on my right hand, Liam Blue was all I was smelling in the air. Overall, great cheapie if you love adg profondo and the adg line, this is back up bottle worthy, not even mentioning how great the presentation is for a $30 fragrance. 9/10.

I have been disappointed by almost every clone I've tried (Dumont Red, Armaf Precieux etc) but this one surprised me. I was ready to be disappointed but after the first spray, I was happy that my 2023 bottles of ADG Profondo will last a couple of years more..lol. This is quite close to Profondo...I was surprised by that. Normally, you'd let these ME fragrances sit for like a month or more before you got what you expected from them but this one came out like it was ready. It lacks the mineral notes of Profondo but that's it. It fooled my wife because she couldn't tell the difference and Profondo is her favourite out of my collection. The performance is not great however... I hope letting it sit for a while will fix that. I got this as a cheaper alternative to profondo basically for gym purposes and I am happy with it.

This is nice. Nothing fantastic. Pleasant and summery. Go ahead and overspray (and spray your clothes), because if you don't, you can't smell it after 30-60 minutes. Sticks around for six hours or so as a light/skin scent. There but barely there. Gotta be honest, I expected a bit more from this one, as I think Liam Grey is amazing! Maybe after letting it sit for a bit, I'm hoping it matures into something a bit stronger. As it is, it's just a nice, light, pleasant, inoffensive summer scent... perfectly suited for the office and casual wear.

In terms of smell, it smells great! very fresh and aquatic with a good hint of spice and wood in the back. Its performance is lacking a bit, it pretty much stops projecting after about an hour or two, the smell is still there hours after you put it but it just won’t go much farther than your skin/clothes. Overall, it smells great, it was only about 25$ before shipping so you can compensate for the lack of performance by spraying it a lot. Scent: 8.5/10 Performance: 5/10 Price: 10/10

Smells great. Wanted something for spring, summer and gym, for these purpose it's awesome. Main downside is performance. Longevity is under 2 hours(after maceration about 6h) and projection is a almost on zero level (after maceration is average). Update: Smell: 8,5 Performance: 7 Overall: 8 After 2 months it smells even better and longevity + projection became much better. For 15-20€ price mark there is no competition and I recommend this to everyone

Muy muy rico, se parece bastante al ADGP (se parece), pero no dura mas de una hora. Un desastre la duración y por eso no es barato, por mas que se consiga a buen precio será una mala compra. Es una fragancia para ir de compras al super y volver antes de la hora y media, ni para ir al trabajo en donde con un perfumito con duración de 5 horas estamos conformes, pués este no es para el trabajo. Esta compra fue un error.

Accidentally received this and gave to my partner to daily as he exclusively wore Acqua Di Gio throughout his adolescence. We both agree, This stuff is really incredible for the price point. The initial blast is quite strong and a bit screechy, but it settles down into a clean, generic, crowd pleasing aquatic fragrance. In our 100+ bottle collection this is what hes grabbing before hes out the door in the morning. 🤠

This clones one of the best ADG scents very well and still as a standalone smells fantastic.The blend is good and is soo versatile for warmer weather. This smelled great right out of the box. I have had this for months and still like the smell, i just wish it lasted longer. I get around 5-6 hours out of this. Great price and I would consider buying it again as it is such an easy to wear fragrance.

This is good, definitely inspired by Profondo. As others have said, performance is poor. I feel like it became a skin scent on me almost immediately and then petered out to nothing too quickly for my liking. For the price, it is fine. I think I'll end up buying the original for this scent profile sometime in the future. ETA: I've let this one sit awhile. Just overspray it and it performs better.

First impressions: I smell what it’s aiming for, but this one I will have to let sit a while and mature. It’s very faint. I own Liam grey and it improved with time. I’m confident this will to. From what I do smell: bergamot, pepper rosemary and marine notes. It’s very nice, classic and timeless. I’ve always been a fan of this DNA even when I was young. Definitely a W.

Lattafa keeps surprising me. Great performance. Not nuclear. But a decent marine fragrance that is an easy grab. For under $30 you get a winner. Not as interesting as Squid from Zoologist, but it certainly works. Fantastic out and about summer fragrance in the heat. But if you like it, wear it when you want.

i created an account JUST TO SAY... . that LATTAFA LIAM BLUE SHINE . has TERRIBLE performance. thank you goodnight. . jokes asides, it is an absolutely beautiful smell, and i would love this to be my one and only scent forever. but it projects maybe 20 minutes and then turns into a NOSE TO SKIN scent.

This stuff is ok. It doesn't smell like profondo exactly. It smells like Profondo/ Missoni Wave/Allure Homme Sport/Versace Pour Homme. It smells good, but if you have any one of those then this isn't going to add anything new. Again, it smells good but it's just an average blue fragrance.

Initial spray was terrible like mosquito spray with lemon. Need to macerate for 3weeks. It has similar vibe to ADG or Light Blue intense. Suitable for dumb reach as its very mass appealing. But beware, the opening can be a lil headache if spray too much or spray near you face.

Smells nice but absolutely no performance. I used about 15 sprays and could only smell it with nose to my skin. I've never had a fragrance do that before. After a few weeks it is performing much better. It's wearable now with average to a little below average performance.

Smells very nice but projects for about half n hour. Bit disappointed because I thought we finally got very affordable Profondo replacement but this is like spraying air. EDIT: much better performance after 1 month of sitting

Very close to profundo. Opens with citrus and little bit of pepper, sea notes and aromatics come out as it dries down. Smells basically like ADG EDT with sea notes. Good longevity for a fresh fragrance, about six hours.

Well....NO NO NO NO NO NO ....smells faint...lasts 5 minutes. Not sure why the hype but it's terrible. Liam gray on other hand...phenomenal...which is weird cus it's same line. But this...even as a cheapie...no bueno

Nothing ground breaking here, just a basic fresh masculine fragrance. An easy reach on the sunny days. Very inoffensive and may get some compliments. Performance and projection are decent on my skin. (7/10)

This is a great Light Blue Intense clone! Nothing like Profondo, unless anything Aquatic is similar. I also do not like any of the ADG line, so buying this one, tells you something!

The longer it sits the better it gets. This fragrence keeps improving with time, it actually went from one of my most disappointing to an enjoyable experience.

Really pleasent smell, it smells like aqua di gio alot but with slightly more alcohol. 7/10
