London The City of Contrast

Okay so I almost didn't give this one a fair chance because the opening reminded me of LA African Drummer and that one did not work for me at all. But I'm glad I stuck with it because within seconds London goes somewhere completely different. My favorite part is when the tuberose shows up. It works so well with the citrus notes. It is nicely blended, not screechy, soft, powdery and just right. The combination is genuinely beautiful. I think it is perfect for year round wear. I definitely prefer this over the New York City of Dreams. If you're starting the Cities collection, start here.

The apple note is really great, its sweet and sophisticated without being boozy and synthetic. Its the standout of the fragrance for me, with a nice amount of cakeyness I did not expect. And the tangerine lemon blend is very good as well, its not sharp lemon cleaner but very fluffly. I like. Longevity could improve but I have just opened from the box so as they often need maceration, will give it some time to improve.

This is a quiet banger that nobody is talking about. The citrus 🍋🍊 and florals in the opening, somehow come off as a grape 🍇 smell. Which is great for my personal taste. But this is definitely a sleeper, that I believe needs more attention. 🔥🔥🔥

This is fantastic. A spicy, sexy citrus.

A musky floral citrus fragrance. I'm not a big fan of all three types but this one is amazing! Like a lemon freezie on the beach almost. If you've ever had those minute maid frozen juice concentrates that they've stopped selling, smells like the limenade mixed with Neroli Portifino (Yes I've only tried one neroli fragrance before). I will say that it smells much better in the air then up close because up close the musk/florals becomes a little suffocating

This one isn't too, bad... much better than New York The City of Dreams. I'll definitely wear it from time to time. But it still has this almost gourmand sweetness that most Lattafas have and I hate that part.

Thank gawd I got a sample. Smells like sweet citrus candy with lattafa vanilla musk funk. You know lattafa funk when you sniffed enough of them. Love citrus fragrances but this is a no, too cloying for me.

Long time fragrance fan. First time reviewing, since this is a new fragrance and felt like it was important to note that this is not a clone of Kerosene Unknown Pleasures. I own a bottle and am a huge Kerosene fan. Was hoping to see if Lattafa was indeed cloning this niche house but it’s not the case. Smelled both side by side and not really all that similar. Other than the fact they both have prominent lemon. Kerosene is more sugared lemon. This is more lemon + flower? Not bad. Just not a 1:1 I was looking for.

Why compare it to a brand whose scent you might not even recognize? For me, this scent reminds me 90% of the iconic and popular perfume, Armaf CDNIM. Thank you but NO for me. I prefer Angham or Petra.
