Mishlah

Really great fragrance. Love the bottle. It's much more reserved and classy than your typical middle eastern fragrances. The scent profile itself is super appealing, but the airy-spiciness doesnt hang around very long before things thicken up a good bit. Still wearable in warm weather but definitely not the sweltering heat. The amber accords along with the powdery iris that they use here just give it a bit too much heft for the serious heat. But that shouldn't take anything away from the unbearable quality of this stuff. For $27 the bottle and quality of the scent are so far above what you would expect it isn't even funny. The fragrance itself is easily designer quality and even certain niche brands don't surpass this in quality! So if you want a slightly spicy, airy at first and musky amber with a beautiful powdery iris note then this stuff is exactly what you want. I say that it's easily blind buy safe. Give it a try and I think you'll agree.

I've smelled the OG Metallic Musk and I can absolutely get that peppery, musky soapiness in this that I get from the original. Oddly, both remind me of Little Trees' New Car freshener lol, but I do absolutely dig the scent profile. I'll admit, I did succumb to the hype and blind buy before knowing what Metallic Musk smelled like BUT I know that musky/spicy scent profiles largely appeal to me, so this was a win! This fragrance does also remind me a little of Penhaligon's Sports Car Club a little. Mishlah, to me, smells like a more powdery and slightly bitter/fresh eucalyptus-y version. Last 6-7 hours with decent projection, well over a day on clothing.

I have been waiting for a good alternative to Spicebomb MM. Mishlah did not disappoint me. The only thing in SBMM that I feel Mishlah is lacking is the cinnamon. Mishlah adds some smooth iris and amber which I feel is a fair trade. Mishlah is a little bit more subtle with the spices which I feel makes it more versatile on warmer days. On the scent alone I can't say one is better than the other. If you factor in price value then Mishlah wins hands down. SBMM causes me itching and rashes. My nose loves it but my skin hates it. No skin problems with Mishlah so far. Lattafa vs. designer..... Lattafa wins again.

To my nose this is a spectacular fragrance given its price. Bottle looks really nice and is solid, atomiser is perfect and the cap clicks in place. The scent reminds me a lot of Spicebomb extreme that everyone loves. It’s an inspiration from Metallic Musk but I would prefer Mishlah as it performs much better ( I get around 9-10 hours of longevity, sillage is strong during the first hours then becomes moderate ) and seems to have more spices throughout the drydown. This would make for a fantastic signature scent that could work for any occasion. PS: My bottle hasn’t been macerated yet, will update later

Update after 4 months: I said when I first got it from the first sprays it was beautiful, but now I realize that those first sprays were the worst this fragrance will ever be. 4 months later of maceration, it became even more pleasant and well blended. It is probably one of my favorite from Lattafa by far. It's so pleasant and clean in a very distinct way that I can't even describe it. It's just perfection. For 20$? To smell like Heaven? (After maceration, of course) feels unreal, that it really gives a reality check for designer corpo brands that are unapologetically hungry for your money. 10/10

I’ve never smelled Metallic Musk, but I have smelled the original Spicebomb, and it’s definitely quite close. It’s a great affordable choice for year-round wear, especially in spring and autumn. It’s a distinctive fragrance that leaves a lasting impression and gets you compliments. The bottle looks like it belongs to a much more expensive fragrance, yet it costs only €18.

It's good guys. If you like metallic musk you'll like this. It's a lighter version of spice bomb maybe mixed with some green notes and some tea. So far so good I'll give an update 9/10 Update 1 month in. Initially it's very spicy. The dry down is great spice with powder. I'm not sure about the projection It seems pretty low. Will update

Beautiful so far. I just got it. I will still wait for the final verdict after the maceration process is complete, something all of you guys should do and not judge and review any fragrance from the first sprays you can smell when you receive it (especially any "inspired/clone" fragrance). Have patience.

This fragrance smells so good! From the initial few sprays I felt invigorated! The citrus and spices with the amber base is just perfect! I can’t speak on whether this is close to SBMM as I’ve never smelled it, but I’m definitely picking up similarities with Castley. 8/10

Musky, faintly spicy, faintly ambery...Misslah sits close to my skin but it is pretty oily and holds its own. It’s in the V&R Spicebomb Metallic Musk space, but not a replacement for that amazing scent. It’s worth having as a Spring/Summer/Fall musk driven alternative.

Amazing take on spicebomb. So easy to wear even on a hot, humid day. Performance is also above good. projects for 3/4 hours and skin scent for 8 hours. This will ramp up in the colder countries to be in beast mode.

there is nothing innovative,or spectacular,but still is a good fragrance..a decent hybrid between spice bomb and castley..for his price (20-25 $) is more than a bargain

You can't go wrong, blind buy safe I don't have metalic musc so i can't compare but on it's own it's a very nice scent and a solid performer , highly recommended

this smell clean, addictive, and somehow quite sophisticated. great for the signature scent. very underrated fragrance from lattafa. bang on

Haha I just got this in today and so far, I really dig this! I'm still not crazy about the dumb Lattafa twists and I still think they don't work 19 out of 20 times. Definitely seems to be inspired by SBMM, but dialed back the dry tobacco a LOT and completely amped the musk big time, and a heavier dose of the citrus and lavender. It seems like it misses parts of the opening of MM, but the drydown is very very similar (I have MM on my left arm, Misslah on the right). I'm withholding my judgement for now. Lattafa stuff sometimes starts nice and takes a drastic turn, either on skin, or over time as my nose processes it more. Update: I'm not in love with the final dry down, but I could see how some people might really love it. It reminds me of the final dry down of Ganymede or maybe Bois Imperial. It's not bad, just not at all my style. I suppose this is why some people are saying it dries down like Castley, as that supposedly smells like Bois Imperial in the end of the dry down. it's great besides that and it gets you into the SBMM territory for sure!

Why does Lattafa feel the need to put a twist on 99% of their clones? It ruins almost every single one of them. It's so stupid and no one wants it. There's a reason that Fragrance World/French Avenue is leaving them in the dust over the last two years. Just make the clone a clone and leave it at that. I won't even buy Lattafa anymore and I regret most of my purchases from them. Al Nashama Caprice is literally the only example I can think of where the stupid Lattafa twist actually worked out well. Just make a copy of what people want. No one is buying the fragrance because they want Lattafa's creative direction, they buy them because they are a cheap alternative to something more expensive. We want it to smell like the original but cost less.

This is a blended concept smashing together the scent profiles of Viktor&Rolf Spicebomb Metallic Musk and Parfums de Marly Castley. It comes off clean, spicy, and fresh all at the same time. There's a premium laundry airiness that somehow balances bright citrus with a metallic-musky V&R dna. It opens with a sharp pepper and citrus, takes on a bit of powdery iris and greenness in the heart, where the iris then bridges into the base for a woody, powdery musky cedar resin backbone. The cedar really comes through in late dry down for hours and hours on a previous hand test; when it becomes a skin scent, it's all a beautiful cedar.

Nose Note #1058 I was postponing the review for a while. It's difficult, because I have nothing to compare it with. It does have links to the original Spicebomb DNA, but ultimately it's a scent that's trying to be fresh and transparent. But it's not a fresh scent. Sort of a 90/00s freshie. Iris is interesting and unique, not a typical iris. Amber is strange. Clean with lavender, but the huge musk accord is rather dirty. Very subtle Spicebomb cherry is underneath it all, but very subtle. My problem is probably the amber musk accord. Just a bit annoying and unpleasant. Men only. Performance is a bit better than moderate. 7/10

I have mixed feelings about this fragrance. Yes, I like it, but the middle notes are a little bit off-putting to me. It has a "makeup" scent that annoys me. Just the middle notes. The opening is great, so is the base note. It has a tea note that is great, or at least to me. Do I like it? Yes, I do, but if it weren’t for the middle note, it would be an amazing scent. You can wear it every day, anytime.

Musk, "metallic musk" character. Office safe, all year. 5 stars, long lasting with heavy projection — a clean-skin standout. Spice bomb meets PDM - really - very clean cut and pleasant - I would buy it again - Paid $30

This opens up quite green, agree with the below review re a cucumber quality to it. Most likely Lattafa attempting to crack the aldehydes profile in SBMM and it’s not far off if anything leans more natural oddly. When it settles you get more of that pepper, musk, lavender and amber combo and it does lean heavily into spice bomb territory. Don’t get a whole lot of Castley from this, and owning both scent profiles wouldn’t be redundant (ie this and onyx silver) - I like it so far will see how it performs. Edit: feeling a little weak to moderate for my taste, last’s for a good couple of hours projecting then drops off fast - will update as it ages if any change to that Edit 2: yeh the performance is dire here - honestly it’s gone within 2 hours unless you ram you nose right up, and what’s left is an echo of the opening - I feel that a lot of dupes recently aren’t performing like they used to (not all, but a fair few). Feels like all the money is going into capturing the opening, and then the actual robustness is sacrificed. You get what you pay for I guess

It smells like cucumbers to me like if I had a salad. I don’t know if it’s the green notes.

First of all this has absolutely nothing to do with Castley. It kinda resembles SB Metallic Musk but honestly the dry down smells like an airy and lighter take of charuto tobacco vanille. It's very light and only lasted about 2-3 hours before it was completely gone.

This is literally what happens if you take Khadlaj Silver and mix it with Al Nashama Caprice. Search up both of those and its like 70% similar to both. A spicier Khadlaj Silver or a softer Al Nashama Caprice. Lavender bomb just like both of these.

Had high hopes in this one. Sadly Just Basic Iris and Musk of the bat. Hope maceration does the Trick. But right now i dont Like it. Very sad, im a sucker for the OG Spicebomb.

Spicy, clean fabric softener. Starts off a bit spicy and incense-y but settles into a clean, slightly sweet, floral powdery scent. Impossible to dislike.
