Natural Oud

What a slam dunk from lataffa. Wow. I have owned a maison alhambra clone and was impressed with it, but this has really blown me away with this company. I cant imagine the packaging alone gives them any possibility for profit with how good this smells at 25 bucks. It has that persistent long lasting warm spicy thing that red tobacco has going on, while giving a beautiful oud scent. It is literally the longest lasting thing i think i have, its been more than 24 hours and a sleep and a shower since i sprayed and i still smell it al over me. Only one person reviewed the sillage but he said it was strong at 4 feet or so. I will say this is a very arab smelling scent. Like some rich guy in dubai wearing traditional clothes. I am not sure how normal it will be for your average american or aussie to smell this on you, but its in no way a repulsive oud. Only ever so slightly animalic if that. Its just not a normal scent you smell every day. Definately unique, but i think it could be pleasing to most .I blind bought it and i dont regrt

This is by far one of the best Oud perfumes I’ve smelled. You can buy this as an introduction to Oud and most people will like it. It’s very smooth and slightly sweet, but that’s a good thing it balances out the harshness of the Oud. At first you get a strong pungent smell of Oud and might get turned off but once it settles it becomes a smooth sweet and slightly spicy smell. It’s very elegant. I found the Oud to be similar to king of Arabia so I compared them and that’s not the case. King of Arabia is fresh but with a prominent Oud all through out. But not this, natural Oud changes and you almost don’t smell Oud only in the opening. If you’ve considered this or thought of purchasing just do it. This is such an easy going fragrance, just don’t go off the first spray let it settle down on skin and work its magic. Oud counter: 8🤣

This is by far my favourite budget oud fragrance. It has a very warm, smoky wood scent that in my opinion blends well with the sweet berries and mild floral notes. The projection is pretty strong even after a few hours, which allowed me to catch occasional whiffs of it while walking. However, it's, thankfully, not that loud to the point that people can smell it in a small space. 1 con about this fragrance is that it won't appeal to most people. Nearly everyone told me that the scent is suffocating. Overall, it's a really warm and comforting perfume if you like it, just don't overspray and choke the people around you

Another great clone by Lattafa. I do have all 1 million OG but not million oud as it is not available on discounters in the UK. So, this was must have for me and I bought it from notino.Definitely, this has all the notes listed above. However if you don't like oud - leather combo ,please don't go for this as these two are prominent from the 5 minutes after wearing it. Certainly lasts 7-8 hours on my skin and it has slightly above average sillage. Not for everyone and not suitable for office wear. I would buy million oud once this bottle gets completed. For me it is worth 3x the price.

This smells very expensive to my nose, I have a few very strong oud fragrances and to me this is very similar in profile to Maison Crivelli Oud Cadenza. It’s not a barnyard oud it’s clean strong and cozy a colder weather fragrance for sure but the berries and the spices just elevate it to niche tier. For the cost of these fragrances you really cannot go wrong. I would wear this at night or on a brisk autumn or winter day. Bought all the Lattafa pride sets- 6 in total and they cost me £20 each that is £4 for 20ml. This fragrance is a stand out for me.

4 months of maturing on the shelf and my god this is incredibly strong. i sprayed neck 4x 6 hours ago and its actually making me a bit nauseous. fantastic oud scent. dont spray more than 2x. i keep smelling it on myself now 6h later. the opening is sweet but this starts to get nuclear once it reaches drydown so do not overspray damn. sweet and aromatic type of oud scent. worth the $25 if you are a fan of oud and if you are not then this is a great entry to the strong oud scents because of its sweetness

Amazing quality. Be warned though, it ain't your mass appealing profile. The oud is of the resinous type, and is very prominent but absolutely not in a "dirty", heavy way. Lasts forever but is not as loud as you'd expect from an oud-based DNA and is much softer than what i was expecting when reading "Natural Oud". Still, if you like other scents of this type you'll probably love this. Clean, classy and you can't beat the price.

Natural Oud is a fantastic scent but I do get some performance issues out of it. It goes very close on me after about 90 minutes. It reminds me of the bakhoor that I burn in my house. I don't have 1MGO, but if it smells like this I'm sure it's great. The oud in this is of the smoky sweet variety. I get no animalic notes. This is a great oud to start with! Showering would still be obligatory.

Delicious fragrance that's way better after maceration. I've def noticed that If I spray it on after showering it smells very different than if I didn't shower for a few days. As in, after a few days of no showering, this perfume smells animalic so if anyone is getting just that, it's your body chemistry, spray it on clothes. ;]

This is a smoky oud, pretty good performance for just receiving it today. I definitely get amber, oud, saffron, nutmeg and some rose in the background. 8.5/10. One of the more underrated lattafa prides. Sillage and longevity are both above average. Pretty good performance.

This is a nice mild oud frag with a beast longevity, I mean at least 12-15 hours if not more. The dry down is where this one shines. It's a like for now, but I see potential in this one to become one of my favorites Edit: now it's officially a love

This is basically Oud Berry-cujá. Smells so good (not the first few sprays, let the bottle sit). A wearable oud scent with great performance for a very good price.

While testing this fragrance tonight I was thinking I've smelled this scent before, but where when? Then it came to me Copenhagen original smokeless tobacco.

Dude over here reviewing fragrances and showers once every couple of days. Cant make this shit up.

Nose Note #550 The first seconds I was like "yay, smells like TF Oud Wood", but then it quickly acquired this oily nature and a red berry on top that is just like Mancera Red Tobacco. To me this is like a mix of Red Tobacco + MC Oud Maracuja + Narcotic Delight Initio Parfums Prives. You definately have to wait out the first few minutes until it develops. When it dries down and especially if you don't put your nose too near - it becomes an absolute red berry beauty that kicks Mancera and Initio out of their shoes. Oud Maracuja keeps standing though because the two are equally amazing. Not blind buy safe if you don't know the note of oud. But it can become your first fragrance on the heavy oud journey. This one is easier than Oud Maracuja. @tyodeur "Make sure you shower before using this". Those are the words of wisdom. Don't underestimate how much more beautiful a fragrance smells on clean skin. Lattafa, French Avenue, Fragrance World, they churn out a hit after hit after hit. Top quality, it just doesn't get better. 9/10, come for this if you want a red berry instead of maracuja on your oud

Not a bad scent, but too overpowering and overwhelming. Definitely not for everyone especially if you don't like sweet scents. Everything here is a bit too much. A lot of sweetness all of that ripe raspberry kind of syrup, toffee - like creamy sweetness, saffron is also really out there. Rose and jasmine are but dominated from the fruity heart. Oud is really big here, clean and if you aren't used to heavy on oud scents then wait before you buy it. Few minutes in and all that resinous stuff kicks in and kicks in a bit hard as well. The product is actually lasting quite a lot but after maybe 3-4 hours the floral and berry notes started really going away so you are left with oud, the cedarwood starts to come in more and more and resins that can feel a bit smoky. Maybe a total of 8-10 hours skin time. Get a sample or try it somewhere before you buy it.

For the people that voted that this smells like Halfeti, where did you get your bottles from? This smells absolutely nothing like Halfeti. Whether the OG or any of its flanker. This is a soft oud. It's sweet, slightly medicinal and smells more refined than the oud Lattafa usually uses. The sweetness isn't artificial or sugary but more like the natural sweetness you get from fruits. The scent is really light though so I'm guessing this was made for layering or for when you don't want to overwhelm people with your perfume. It's good work from Lattafa but the scent isn't groundbreaking IMO. 20/10/24 I wore this today and as the oversprayer that I am, I sprayed a lot. Unfortunately, this started smelling like Methylated spirit after about 3 hours of wear. I'm wondering if it's supposed to be the rose peeking through.

I’m on an Oud journey right now and this one intrigues me. On me, I get Oud and Leather on the dry down, but then it shifts into a berry, woodsy Oud. Most of my ouds are chocolatey so this is a nice alternative to Oud Mood, Shaghaf Oud/s, or smokies like Almeer Al Oud Intense, which is also currently a huge favorite. I love unisex scents and kinda like that I’m one of the few ladies in this review thread. 💋 Saving this sample for full bottle consideration, these notes are to help me remember for the future.

It is for Gentlemen and more an evening scent. It last long >7 hours go easy on the sprays. It has some resemblance to Terrae from Bvlgari. My nose likes it. Definitely try before you buy. I snitched it up on sale for <$20 and it was my Best Buy so far. I would repeat the purchase even for a higher price point - very pleasant and unique. a true niche scent.

Nice fragrance. Might be interesting even for oud haters, despite oud is dominant here.

(Before maceration) If you like Dehn El Oud Malaki by Swiss Arabian, then you will probably enjoy this. This a VERY straightforward oud fragrance. This reminds me of Dehn El Oud Malaki by Swiss Arabian, but if you made that fragrance MUCH more wearable, and less abrasive. But don't get it twisted. This fragrance is NOT for the average consumer. I wouldn't consider this unisex either. (Btw, I know people say that fragrance has no gender, and you can wear what you want but, I'm one of those people I will give my opinion if it's feminine/masculine/unisex/etc.) Also this is NOT blind buy safe. This is VERY masculine and loud. This fragrance lacks sweetness, fruitiness, and anything remotely feminine (even with the floral notes). In my opinion, above all the notes, the oud and saffron am take center stage, with the oud being in first place. This is focusing STRICTLY on oud. Its earthy, funky, and a touch on that rubbery side. It smells VERY realistic in every way. Also, right out the gate, this fragrance is friggin STRONG. I sprayed my hand ONE time. Its been on my skin for over 2 Hours now and I keep getting whiffs of it (when I'm sitting still and not moving) I do NOT struggle to smell this fragrance. If you're looking for a straightforward oud fragrance then this would be a good option.

Do not expect to smell any oud in this fragrance. The name is misleading.

I really tried to like this, and even after letting this macerate for several months (since Dec '24) and giving it another shot- I've come to accept that this scent profile ain't for me. Zero sweetness (like Oud Maracuja) to this and I think the rose and jasmine get drowned out by some heavy leather and "bandaid" like oud. I find the same reaction to Golden Oud which is I can at least tell it is blended much better from the start, and doesn't come off as harsh to my nose as this. From my testing experience- 2 sprays in the air to prime like usual, and my room filled up with the scent. 2 more spritzes on myself and 1 on my coat was enough to envelop me in a shroud of leather, some saffron, and medicinal oud. I stepped outside on a cold chilly day, and I will admit once outside it was actually much more tolerable. I got on the train to head to work and received 2 compliments (1 "very mature" lady, and a middle aged security guard if that means anything). Luckily it was a quiet day in the office, so no complaints of my 6ft scent bubble. It lasted the whole shift and commute back home, and when I went to hug my lady and ask her thoughts- she hated it and told me never to wear it around her... With that said, we broke up but I now have this barely used bottle of Natural Oud is on the selling/trade block. $15obo for local sale (NYC) only, sorry no shipping. Hit me up!

I just got this in today. 1st impression- I love Lattafa's presentation and would expect similar packaging from high priced niche brands. I sprayed a few into the box to air it out like I usually do and so far it smells pretty good. A nice smooth nutmeg oud that gives off a hint of the medicinal "bandage" scent off the bottle, i also got a bit of the saffron, jasmine and amber listed. I do plan on letting this bottle macerate for a few weeks and hope it fully develops and impresses me like Vintage Radio and other Lattafas did. Either way, Lattafa puts out some great fragrances and for their price point, I am happy to add Natural Oud to my collection and I recommend for fans of Oud. Ill update this review with performance and scent when I decide to wear it and test on skin.

I guess oud is something you like or you don't no middle ground. I tried it on a number of fragrances and I do not like it. I can appreciate the high quality scent here but it's not for me. I got this in a little five pack of Lataffas. I can wear eternal oud where the oud is not overpowering. The oud here is prominent so I will pass on it.

RATING for Natural Oud: 0/10. Worst in 45 blind buys! Hi all. I have blind bought about 45 different fragrances - mostly from Lattafa (and Maison Alhambra) but also from Armaf, Afnan, Swiss Arabian, Paris Corner, Ard Al Zaafaran, and Al Wataniah. And, NATURAL OUD one is the absolute worst fragrance I have ever bought, by a LONG shot. DO NOT BLIND BUY unless you are seriously willing to throw it in the bin! Also, please be aware that I do not believe it is the oud that I find objectionable. While I do not have a fragrance known for having a tonne of oud, I do have many that have oud in them. Some examples include: Oud for Glory, Ameer Al Oud Intense Oud, Midnight Oud, Supremacy in Oud, Shaghaf Oud, Shaghaf Oud Azraq, and Oud Maknoon. Of those just listed, "Midnight Oud" is known by many for being a very challenging fragrance (the reviews on Fragrantica are hilarious reading, actually!!!). So, I am not shy to try challenging fragrances, and I am even getting more and more into them as I expand my horizons. But THIS one. No. It's trash. It's truly disgusting. Nobody wants to smell like that...IMO. Now let's get into the why. SICKLY SWEET: I don't shy away from sweet fragrances. I LOVE me some AAOIO or Givenchy's Pi (sweet ambers), any of the JPG Le Male line, Shaghaf Oud (a super sweet vanilla tonka), Tobacco Vanille, or even Lovely Cherie or Honor and Glory or BR540 or feminine sweet smells. So, It's not that I don't love a great many and variety of sweet fragrances. But this one smells sickeningly sweet, like a diabetic person. Just gross. Rotting vegetation, plus diabetic sweetness, and BO. That's what this gives me. Wet, rotting leaves nestled in the hairy warm armpit cavity of a woman who hasn't showered in days..plus a little bit of a fig note, perhaps. Maturation: In leaving this review, I have had this fragrance for a few weeks. I tried it on the first day. Immediately I was skeptical it was for me. I tried it on a patch of skin, with others on my other arm etc., and this one was one that I thought was pretty gross. But, of course, I wanted to give it time. I let it sit a while, and tried it again on skin and clothes. A couple hours later I had to wash it off my skin. It didn't wash off easily. I had to put another fragrance on top to try to mask the nastiness. Clothes: On my clothes, this is still there 12 hours later. It makes me want to throw the shirt in the hamper but I'm suffering for this review and for your benefit. Using my imagination, I could imagine someone MAYBE wanting to smell like something approaching this... to smell like wet wood, with a little decomposition... MAYBE on a very rare occassion when you were about to head out camping on a rainy day anyway, you would think, well, why not get started smelling like mouldy wet clothes before I even get out on the road? But this doesn't even do that for you, because it adds the sickly sweet part. Now you smell like wet, moldy, mouldering clothes plus the concerning smell of a a diabetic that you want to get to a hospital asap... or at least get them OUT of your SUV so you can continue one for your wet backcountry camping excursion! Performance: Seems strong. Lasted for 12+ hours on my skin even after I washed it off. Sillage... I don't know. I did not have the gigantic, hairy brass balls to wear this out of the house. Perhaps another man here can tell us. Sillage? Again, no idea. Rating: I give this 0/10. I will keep the bottle in my collection for at least another 6 months just to see if it changes at all, or as a reminder to myself why I need to stop blind buying (most have worked, actually, but this has made me realize I'm literally throwing good money away on some occasions). Also, perhaps it will stay as a curiosity, so every now and then I can sniff it, smell the scent of death, and remember - MEMENTO MORI - Remember that you, too, must surely die one day. So LIVE! GODDAMMIT, LIVE! Suck the marrow out of life today, for tomorrow worms may be wriggling through your eyeball socket and your soul surrounded by warm, wet detritus -- like this fragrance. LIVE, damn it! LIVE!

Just a note for Segoviatar, none of those "oud" fragrances listed have a vibe of a true oud scent (except maybe Oud Maknoon, I haven't smelled that and it seems it might). They're "ouds" only in the name. This one, however, does have a prominent oud note. Upon application, it reminded me of Lattafa's 24 Carat Gold; the way the oud comes across is strikingly similar. This one might hold more appeal though. Has a touch of that skankiness that dissipates quickly and you're left with what Segoviatar aptly described as wet, decomposing w(oud)ood, wrapped in the standard duo - saffron and rose. The combination gives it a somewhat fruity vibe. There's some undefined sweetness, too, but I wouldn't associate this with sweet smells. It's an oud-first scent.

Over the last 9 years, my palate has matured & I must say. I'm proud of how it has blossomed 🤣🤣, because I am FINE with out any sweetness. So it's weak, to weak until it has maturated 30-60 days. Then I can actually wear it it & take it for a ride. So far tho, I like what faint aromas im getting from it 🤷♂️🤗 less than $25 for a "Pride" collection bottle is great 🫡

Please Read if you are interested in this fragrance. It is an amazing syrupy berry oud that is very strong. It is so sweet. Not too sweet but if you want an oud only fragrance, this isn’t it. I love sweet oud perfumes and this one is right up my alley. I’m so happy I blind bought this! If you aren’t familiar with oud, stay away
