Qimmah for Women

In the 6 months since I checked in with this one, it has gone and gotten better and better. It has gotten sweeter and kind of reminds me of a ripened Athena. It is sweeter which plays well with the powdery note. Where it was good before in a low-key way, it is now more luxurious and chic-smelling. Wearing it for the first time in forever, I got compliments from 2 different people. The one lady who asked what I was wearing had never heard of Lattafa before - or any other brands like it & I'm pretty sure she will be looking at more UAE brands. It's been over 20 days of letting this rest and NOW it's everything good. I don't think I've ever had such a weirdly lovely scent before. As I move around, I get wafts of floral vanilla one minute, then brown-sugary sweetness the next. It's really nice. Most odd to me is that I get the faintest hint of - wait for it - salt. Not a lot, just enough to be interesting. Oh, I am loving this now. Okay, so I have my bottle. The notes shown here are correct. While my bottle will need some time to bloom, right off the bat, it's giving the soft & fruity vibes with a promise of powder. It's very subtle in every way right now, but... I know to give these babies time. The production date on this one is Jan 2025 so... I will be back with more later. UPDATE: I contacted a seller that I bought from. They confirmed that the notes are those shown on Fragrantica. I'm not sure how Lattafa got it wrong! Apparently, every review I've read lines up with the Fragrantica notes... @SkyWalker22 Whoops! I bought this a few days ago and it's on the way. I like the look of the bottle and thought the notes here were accurate. Now I have no idea whether I will like this or not. I generally go for sweet and gourmand types... Thanks so much for sharing the info. Next time, I will be more careful! What is confusing to me is all the comments/reviews here & elsewhere citing the praline and cocoa and sweet gourmand. With the true notes from Lattafa, I don't know how that could be!?!?!?!?

I can't speak for the comparison to good girl just because I hate the bottle (sorry if you love it!!) .. however qimmah is quite a lovely fragrance. It's smooth (without any harsh base notes that sometimes ME perfumes have) the bottle is interesting I don't believe I have any green bottles in my collection so I think it's quite unique. It's very feminine with a classic perfume smell that doesn't smell old fashioned, but still smells perfumey.. almost as if there is patchouli in it not prominent but it gives a scent profile I know that good girl has it so perhaps it does here too. Very vanilla forward without being gourmand, with the white florals and almond and the coffee is there but very mild, which I'm grateful for. I haven't tested the longevity yet however seems to be going pretty strong so I will update this later as it macerates. I can imagine this being a lovely date night fragrance that men will love on women also. It's sexy yet approachable. I'd probably prefer to wear it in cooler weather but it's not super cloying that you can't wear it in warm weather. Nothing super unique but really I think that's the point it's just mass appealling, for the price it's a fantastic deal for the quality. This would also make a great gift for someone wanting to get into perfume collecting (but perhaps not for someone who is into niche)

Qimmah is by far one of my favorite perfumes. The opening has this brilliant burst of almond, and I also get the floral Jasmine and Tuberose, with a hint of vanilla; there is almost a "freshness" to the opening that I find with almond scents, and I'm almost addicted to it! As the scent settles, I really start to smell the vanilla come through heavily, and I can smell the coffee and cacao at this point. I don't know if I can pick out the tonka bean or sandalwood individually, but I think they add to the overall creamy smoothness of the perfume. I've already gone through a whole bottle and am now on my second, and I hope to always have this perfume in my collection! I get a minimum of 6 hours of wear, but it usually lasts longer, and lasts much longer on clothing. It projects well, definitely more than an arm's length, because people have complimented me when they were closer to 6+ feet away. I actually just got another compliment on this perfume when I was out at the store. The cashier came up to me and said "Oooh! You smell really good!" and I was so super appreciative of the compliment! If you like almond/vanilla scents and are into gourmonds, this would be blind buy safe in my opinion. You can usually get ot for about $30, which is beyond worth it for this lovely fragrance.

I did a side-by-side test with Carolina Herrera Good Girl, and they're extremely similar. I did the test-strip experiment with my husband, who preferred Qimmah, saying it wasn't as heavy, but that otherwise they were virtually indistinguishable. Usually he has an unerring talent for choosing the more expensive option, but not this time. And he didn't even see this glorious bottle, which reminds me of a slightly tackier (less luxe) version of my beautiful Fendi Furiosa bottle, easily the most beautiful perfume bottle in my collection. I get a slightly salty popcorn accord with both Qimmah and VGG, a bit similar to the one I notice in some of the Maisondieu-Lancôme offerings, but it's not what I'd call overly gourmand or savory. Qimmah is a really good deal; I don't regret purchasing a travel sprayer of GG, but I certainly don't need that ludicrous and awkward stiletto bottle, especially now that I have Qimmah. The bottle is so gorgeous, with its greens and golds, but it doesn't smell green in the slightest. It smells like more of a pale buttery rose gold. The bottle looks more suited to an aquatic fragrance, but since I don't tend to favor those, I'm glad they used it for Qimmah.

Be patient with this one! I was so disappointed with Qimmah before I let it macerate for couple of months since I somehow missed the note that this is suppose to be a dupe for CH Good Girl (and I absolutely loathe Good Girl even though I used to own it in late 2010's [tbh that's probably why I loathe it]) 😅 First sprays of this resembeled Good Girl alot, but after maceration this turned out to be an incredebly beautiful scent on its own: well blended almond and dark cacao, not too old timey perfumey, a true coffee scent ☕️ And tuberose and jasmine notes are not headache indusing. This is sweet yet mature, not your typical "going-to-club" evening scent. This is like a big sister to CH's Good Girl: When Qimmah's typical weekend evening is going for a restaurant date that extends to getting civilized cocktails (and perhaps night ending with some red wine at the date's place 🤭), Good Girl is meanwhile at the club getting absolutely waisted and making terrible life choices with the wrong people 😆 One spray in a dry environment such as Northern Europe is enough (atleast for me)! Very durable and good rejection overall🫶🏻

This is a nice Good Girl dupe. This is a beautiful, woody and herby floral with a lot of sweetness. I get a tobacco note from this, which might just be due to the spiciness of this scent. This scent bears the line between classy, feminine, soft, pretty and sexy, seductive, alluring, polarizing. It's the best of both worlds. It's a perfect blend, the perfect balance. It's like it encapsulates both the light and dark side of femininity without coming on too strong. I wouldn't layer this with anything else as it has the potential to be great all by itself. When I first bought it, I sprayed it on my wrist and didn't really like it. I never really reached for it again to give it another shot. After it macerated for a while I tried it again and instantly liked it. Maybe I was just crazy when I first got it, idk. I wouldn't say it performs so well that it'd last more than a day on clothes. It's a decent performance. The price is perfect for what you get. It's a safe Arabian perfume buy imo, especially for beginners to Arabic perfumes.

(I never smelled CH Good Girl before) I got curious with this perfume from the gorgeous bottle design which I am obsessed with, and let me tell you I am even more obsessed with it now that I know how beautiful it smells. It's feminine but not linear powdery floral or stereotypical gourmand vanillas - I'd say it is a harmonious blend of both! It's clean and elegant, but has sweetness and warmth at the base. I am happy to finally have a genuinely feminine perfume with personality, as I often prefer unisex perfumes since a lot of female-leaning ones are overly simplistic sweet vanillas or screechy powder florals. This would be a great gift for moms as well. Most noticeable notes are jasmine and vanilla. Dont smell anything remotely almond or coffee, perhaps it blended in too much as a background note rather than being distinct.

I've had this for a month now and while the screech of the jasmine has died down, it still takes quite a while for the other scents to come through. It's coming off as a creamy jasmine scent with a bit of tonka and vanilla in the background with a very very light waft of coffee lurking even further back. To the disinterested nose, it's simply a pleasant, light floral the works well as an everyday signature scent. All the men I've asked about it have said they liked it more than my gourmand scents. Edit: a couple of weeks later and now this scent has finally matured to the notes that are showing on fragrantica. Beautiful. Sweet, floral, mass appealing and femininely sexy. This is not a carnal, rip off your clothes sort of sexy - it's a good girl sexy. 😏

This has taken a very long time to START to even smell like something I can wear. I bought it in January, and it is now March 30th, and it actually smells kind of good. Unfortunately, I get NO coffee and NO Almond, which is deeply disappointing0 I think this still has a ways to go before she is even 75% of the way there....I paid $21 USD, so i am ok with continuing to be patient. Initially, to ME, it smelled like YSL Libre. Again, to ME, it is one of the worst scent profiles. I get none of the good stuff and way too much of that sharp, piercing lavender note. I am not sure why it smells like Libre, as there is no Lavender, but it does. Im hoping in another 3 months Qimma will be so much better...Fingers crossed.

This was a blind buy for me; I loved the design of the bottle. It isn't my favorite scent but I DO like it. I cannot make it through the day with a compliment from men/women on the scent! I think that it can be fitting for either day or night, and most seasons. I try to wear it on rainy days (I've been testing a theory of mine of wearing scents on days that seem to match the color/design of the bottles) and I LOVE it. The sillage is moderate and last for several hours. There have been times when I received a compliment after 4 hours and I was shocked because I thought the scent had gone. I definitely think it's worth the try and given the price, it's not a bad deal!

I've had this in my collection for 2 or 3 years, but I never really evaluated it until now, when I finally decided to wear it. I've always liked it a lot. My usual description was simply, "it smells like vanilla and flowers." But as it develops, a liquor-like accord emerges, along with almond brittle and something reminiscent of syrup. It doesn't create an imaginative scene for me the way some "more interesting" fragrances do. Instead, I get abstract images of almond brittle, vanilla pods, and a seductive woman dancing among them. This perfume makes the skin feel warm. A pleasing, sweet, and sexy fragrance.

I bought this one because I saw on social media that it was a dupe for Carolina Herrera Good Girl. Haven't smell or test GG. On my skin I don't get the coffee or cacao notes that I wish for. But i get the vanilla and white floral notes on me and after a while the tonka beans and sandalwood. Qimmah last around 5 hours on my skin, and I got compliments for this one. Bought this, the pink Yara, Yara Moi, Badee Al Oud Sublime and avons perfumes from Notino. I want to buy the Qimmah again but next time I will let the perfume mature in a dark place for some weeks to months before I use it.

I just received this in the mail and wore it to work today. I sprayed twice on my neck and twice on my shirt. It became very strong through out the wear. I think two sprays max will do. Also sweetened up through out the wear and made myself a little nauseous! It's very vanilla and praline heavy, syrupy and sweet. It gives me similar vibes as fancy, cheriosa 62 , and Burberry brit. It smells almost identical to gg legere. I like it and it's a banger for 20 dollars. Really no need to spend the coin for the gg line when this smells and performs just as well! Happy with my purchase.

Ok, I’ll admit I did not like this one at first. There was something that just smelled off. I think it’s the almond, as this usually smells a bit rotten to me. BUT I have let this sit for like 6 months, mostly just avoided it. Tried it on a whim yesterday and it is STUNNING! It’s so beautiful, feminine, sweet and powdery. It’s just dreamy and I can’t get enough. Very similar to good girl but soooo much better. I’m so glad I gave it another try!! So true! You have to let these ME fragrances sit to really appreciate them.

Pretty Bottle. Qimmah smells a lot like Carolina Herrera Good Girl and for a fraction of the price. I do own Good Girl and can give it a fair comparison. Compare the Fragrantica notes for Qimmah and Good Girl. I'll wait. Qimmah lasts about 4-6 hours but I could be noseblind. If you don't love it at first spray, empty the straw and let it sit for a month or so because when I first got my bottle a year ago, I didn't love it. It smelled like toothpaste, lol. Now, I really love the scent.

Love this! I have Good girl and they are almost identical. Will never buy the original GG again. This such a treasure, the perfume has quality. Does nor give me a headache and does not feel cheap at all. It is so worthwile your money as everything from the packaging to the bottle feels so lux. I actually prefer this bottle, looks sexy and kind of mythical to me. Looks beautiful on my vanity. Nothing to complain about. Everyone know the original Good girl and to me they are the same.

Update: Oh my ! I was a little bit "meh" when I first got this. Until today, a month later I decided to try it and ...Im in love. Its much more rounded now, stronger but in a soothing way. I get the coffee in the background which really grounds it. Its beautiful and a real keeper for me. I think as it isn't overpowering a day to day all year round, saying it isn't overpowering does NOT mean weak. It has presence but it isn't in your face screechy about it. Just gorgeous.

A beautiful jasmine opening, with smoothness from cacao, ,vanilla and tonka sweetness blend. It’s an excellent dupe for CH Good Girl, without the sharp coffee note in the opening which feels smoother, lighter, and more refined than the OG. The longevity and performance are weak imo. Longevity is max 3 hours on skin and projections is intimate. Based on performance I dont think i will get another bottle but I will keep my eye up for another dupe with better performance

One of my favorites! It needs to sit for a bit. It was wearable after a few days and just got better. It is very cozy and warm. It mostly smells like an earthy vanilla with honey to me. It gets a little powdery on the dry down. It smells like a competent woman who gets the job done and has a very comfortable, unbothered life outside of her job. She actually has time to sit down by a fire with a cup of tea in the evening. There's no girlbossing or hustle culture here.

The opening reminds me of Hugo Boss Alive, a bit masculine leaning. Qimmah' s dry down is so much better! It's well blended, smooth, slightly sweet, slightly floral. Comforting and cozy but not really warm. Like having a cup of coffee on your terrace on a sunny but still kind of chilly summer morning. Doesn't smell too original but quality and vibe is up there with designer fragrances, while a full bottle of this sells for around 10 USD over here.
