Rouat Al Musk

This has got to be the most successful blind buy for me EVER! I can't get over how lovely this smells. To me it's the younger, fresher sister of Paris by Yves St Laurent in the opening. It changes in the dry down but WOW! I'm blown away and very impressed. I paid £14.99 for it and yes, it has the holographic Lattafa sticker so it's not a copy. Amazing value! The bottle is gorgeous and suits the smell in that it has a slight vintage feel to it without being dated or grandma like. I expect to wear this quite a lot this spring/summer. Not sure if it will be suitable during high heat as I prefer more citrusy scents but definitely for summer evenings and 100% during spring. It's a warming, comforting, familiar yet unique smell. I can't see it offending anyone in the office. Not sure why it's stayed under the radar but I'm not going to complain about that since it's kept the price down. People always think that you get what you pay for; no, no, no. Here you get a lot more than what you pay for. It really makes you question the price of designer or certain niche houses. Edit 11.12.24 I sprayed this after my shower and felt like a little house on the prairie princess and I'm not talking Neilley Olson. More like Mary Ingalls. Strange vision but beautiful feeling.

I’ve been searching for an affordable white musk that gives me the perfect balance between soft floral and fresh laundry, and I’ve finally found it. Musk Therapy smells like chemicals to me, Musk 12 is too floral, Chanel 1957 is almost perfect, but pricy. I wanted fresh, clean, musky, elevated, and natural.... This is it! This is freshly washed linens that you didn’t wash yourself. The laundry detergent is imported and expensive. In the opening, they are fresh out of the wash and on the line, in the dry down, they are warm and soft. At the same time, this is a decidedly feminine fresh and clean scent. A woman in a white cami, off white linen pants, white leather slides, sun hat, woven shopper, simple gold jewelry, hair loosely tied, calm and particular. This is the perfect medium between the your skin but better style of musk (Ellis Brooklyn Myth) and the bottle of detergent scents (Clean Reserve Warm Cotton), and Lattafa manages to do this without smelling cheap or synthetic and with a gorgeous bottle to boot... I paid less than $20. I’m impressed, and am too happy to have found my go to clean and fresh fragrance.

This is a clean girl fragrance IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE! 😌 This is honestly so pretty! This is clean, without being overly soapy or intensely powdery. WHICH I APPRECIATE! This fragrance starts out with very sweet citrus and a gentle (clean) musk. The musk is NOT suffocating or too much either. Within 20 minutes, the white florals REALLY start to come forward. Its actually surprising because the white florals are VERY delicate in the beginning. But the longer this sits on the skin, those white florals really pull forward. But they NEVER become sharp or too much. The dry down is slightly powdery white florals with sweet citrus notes and a clean musk. If you're one of those people that enjoy philosophy fragrances, then I really think you'd enjoy this too :) also, if you're one of those people who is unsure if you like white florals in your fragrances then I think this would be a GREAT starting fragrance to try.♥️ This fragrance is what I would imagine an angel would smell like ♥️ this is delicate, airy and just whimsical. Wear time and projection is average.

Rout Al Musk is like summer in a bottle—oh yes, yes, YES! ☀️ This fragrance is a gorgeous tart citrus concoction, beautifully balanced with musk and floral notes. It shares a hint of that grape-like rose vibe from Lattafa Fakhar (and seriously, watch that pronunciation!), but it leans much more into citrus territory—think of a freshly squashed orange mixed with blossoms! It’s ultra-feminine, and I adore wearing it in the Australian summer, especially while I’m surrounded by my flowering gardens and citrus trees. I take negative reviews with a grain of salt; some of my best scents are also the most affordable! If L'Interdit by Givenchy ever created a youthful version of L'Eau that resembles Chanel Chance L'Eau, this would be it! Wear what you want. No labels needed.

I am not usually a “clean” or “soapy” fragrance wearer but as I am currently expanding my middle eastern perfume collection and I have more cold weather fragrances than hot going into summer here in Aus I thought I would give it a go. I was not expecting much from Rouât Al musk but I really love it. Definitely not my top fragrance by any stretch or overly remarkable but to me it smells like a bubble bath in the best possible way. It’s incredibly comforting and light to me and I’ve been wearing it primarily as a bed scent and I can see myself wearing it to the beach. To me it’s a safe everyday clean soapy fragrance, but every nose is different. I don’t get much musk and there’s no musk listed in the notes so the name is a bit confusing but c’est la vie

Oh my goodness, I’m in love. This is such a gorgeous, clean, musky, luxurious laundry scent. This smells like taking a shower in the most beautiful bathroom you’ve ever seen, and wrapping yourself in the fluffiest, warm towel. Ana Abiyedh is the musk that has my heart, but Rouat Al Musk gives her a run for her money. Ana is sweeter and more shampoo-y, so I’m sure they’ll layer gorgeously. I got this on Amazon for $18 and the quality for the price is unbeatable. The sillage is just so that people will wonder who smells so good, but not strong enough to be cloying or bothersome. I would say this is quite feminine, but I think the right man could pull it off well. Longevity is good, about 5-6 hours. She’s a 9.5/10

This is straight up "clean sheets dried on a clothesline in the sun" on me and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous fresh ever so slightly floral utterly clean smelling. It's not soapy at all, just beautiful solar notes. I adore it. Lasts a good 4-6hrs so decent longevity for such a light airy fragrance. Projects about an arms length, not too far, sillage is pretty good, the trail lasts about 5hrs (I know this because one of my colleagues commented on it as I walked by about 5hrs after I'd applied). I'm experimenting with lotion and layering combinations to enhance the musks/florals/solar aspects and so far it blends easily and beautifully with other scents. It's a workhorse of a clean scent.

Fresh out the box it’s beautiful so I can’t wait to see how this performs once it matures. Very clean laundry musk with a touch of sweetness. I like this better than Tahara Vanilla, which leans more powdery, and what I thought this might smell like. Super safe blind buy for me but I’m a huge fan of white floral and aldehydic accords and this seems to blend beautifully with my body chemistry. Though this is the perfect warm weather clean scent, I could totally wear this in fall and winter, though the best time is definitely spring and summer. Definitely a pleasant surprise and a beautiful bottle, to boot!

I just love this Fabric Softener Scent. No, it's not detergent. But old school Downey. I get so many compliments on this one. It's great for the summer because it helps one to feel fresh and clean. It's doesn't seem loud but the sillage, trail is outstanding. People always ask me what I am wearing with Rouat Al Musk. I've been through 3 bottles now. Will always have this one in my collection. Very beautiful bottle and you simply cannot beat the price. I have also gifted this to several of my clients. Love love love.

this perfume is incredibly soapy and if that's your thing, you would love this. it reminds me of someone I smelled in my childhood idk it's smells nostalgic a bit. the comments didn't exaggerate.. this is straight up laundry detergent and as soon as I spray it, I could smell it even though it wasn't close to my nose, it doesnt last long enough. I've never had a soapy scent before and this was exactly what I was looking for. it's like a floral soap but expensive smelling.

Y'all, I smell GOOD. This is exactly what a was wanting for an everyday scent in the spring and summer. Sweet, a bit of bite, almost apricot rosy... drying down to a super clean expensive fresh musk/clean laundry smell. Sometimes I wear this to bed because it smells so good. I wish it lasted a bit longer, but for the price point, I can reapply with abandon! 10/10!!!

I'm not the fresh clean musk kind of person but wow. This is such a pretty soft feminine clean soapy sweet powdery musk! It's a fresh out the shower princess in freshly washed white robes in the best way possible. So cozy and feminine. I don't normally like musk or powder or white florals at all but this is different. Beautiful.

This is a safe blind buy if you are looking for a clean musk to wear everyday to include work. It starts out strong with citrus and powdery. As it dries down, the powdered takes scent stage. Towards the end of dry down you smell a soft clean soapy scent. This scent last 8+ hours on my skin. Great blind buy!

When I first got this it was weird, sharp yet powdery almost. It actually felt like a cotton ball in the back of my throat, physically. After sitting for a month or so it’s turned into something beautiful. I don’t get “fruits” at all but it’s light and floral and fresh. No more cotton ball

So slept on & I understand why it’s not a crazy scent. As others mentioned this is a clean scent. It layers so well with so many things. I bought this for super cheap online and forgot about it for a while and when I finally got back to it I forgot how nice this was. Such a great cheapie.

I love this clean floral scent. I wear it to bed. It is sensual and pure. It is ideal to wear for the first time in bed with your love, a fragrance that exemplifies purity of consummating the marriage... if you know what I mean... great for bedtime and late spring...summertime.

really nice soapy scent i feel like im in the shower whenever i wear this!!!! im a full-time worker so i tend to work 8 hours a day and the longevity is 8+ hours and sillage is good aswell. not offensive at all quite suitable for everyday wear. i would rate it a 9/10

The smell is incredibly clean , fresh , and floral Honestly, I didn’t expect it to be that good! The longevity is decent; it lasts +5 hours on skin and all day on clothes. I would love this perfume even more if the sillage was stronger, but it stays close to the skin

Sweet, musky, cosy, comforting and clean. Great quality for the price but that's how most middle eastern perfumes are (great quality with a bargain). Since this perfume is very cosy and comforting then I use it for when I am home ready for binge watching Netflix.

the people saying it smells like perfume their grandma wore made me love it more, its kinda like chanel no 5's floral pink bubbly sister, its feminine soapy soft floral but still has that arab dna that makes it kinda formal if you know what i mean.

For all the fresh laundry scent lovers, try this. This smells exactly like a nicely done laundry. I don't love the dry down as much as the opening tho. Lasts me around 4ish hours indoor.

Loveee this scent! If you like Daisy by Marc Jacobs or Yellow Diamond by Versace, you'll love this for sure. Not too overbearing and is the perfect perfume to wear after a shower!

Got my hands on this beautiful bottle today, as a blind buy. I am someone who gets a headache from white flowers, so I was slightly nervous, but I thought the bottle is so gorgeous I don't mind even if it gives me a headache. Ironically, white flowers work well with my skin. So on me, this fragrance smells almost 100% like the Avon Lucky Me Intense, they share a good amount of the same notes. So if you are someone who gets a headache from white flower fragrances and wondering if you should take a risk buying this one, I say go for it. The vanilla and amber tone down the flowers just enough that it could work for you. It almost has a slightly champagne-y, spicy background (on my skin anyway), much like Avon Lucky Me Intense. I did one spritz on my arm and it's like a kick to the face, albeit a beautiful one, so I recommend to not overspray it. I also own Lattafa Pure Musk and Rouat is not similar to that one at all. Pure Musk is like a Nivea body cream, very clean and soft, while this one is feminine, sparkly and floral, but also strong. People will notice you when you enter a room, even if you only spray it once or twice. I don't think that it smells grandma-like, not on me at least. Once again the vanilla and amber change it enough that it's something different than your classic old lady white floral. I wanna say the sillage is strong, I don't usually wear scents that project in such a large bubble. Lasting power is long on my skin, such is the case with the Avon one I mention above. These 2 are like twin scents. The bottle is absolutely beautiful, it's like a fancy bottle of liquor or rose water. I personally like the little charms on it as well. I own well over a 100 perfumes, and I think Rouat Al Musk has the prettiest one of them all. I got lucky with this blind buy.

SKIN TEST: I’m 2 hours in and really enjoying it! While summer is coming to an end, I don’t plan on purchasing now but will consider a full bottle for next summer. I get a bright yet mild neroli first followed by a fresh, crisp musk. An ideal “white tee shirt” scent that’s distinctly feminine. This would be a fantastic daily driver all year long (but especially the summer months). It would also be a great gift for the fresh fragrance or new fragrance lover in your life. Quiet and subtle enough for the office. TEST STRIP: Crisp and clean musk paired with mild white flowers and lifted by citrus. This is, on paper at least, a more refined offering than Mystique Bouquet which has a very similar scent DNA. I’m picking up a sharpness that could either sing or go sour on skin —- only time will tell. I could also seeing this reading as a sharp cleaning product if it doesn’t pair well with someone’s body chemistry. I do like that it’s a feminine, non-animalic musk that could be worn all year. I’ll report more soon after a full wear test :)

My sister had a bottle of this and I hated it at first, but that was when I hated white florals. Since then I came around and I actually LOVE jasmine now. She gave me her bottle cause she didn't like it anymore, and I'm surprisingly really enjoying it. There's no musk listed here, but I feel like it's super musky, in a nice clean way. There's a tiny bit of animalic that makes it interesting, but it's well balanced by the clean musk. It smells soft. Reminds me of the smell of makeup removal wipes (in a good way). It's not the kind of thing I would wear when going out, and it's not really the kind of scent that projects my aesthetic, but it's pleasant, safe, and makes me and everyone around me feel good, whilst still being a bit intereting and not too plain. It's great for school or work, just use it in moderation, cause the jasmine and white florals in general can be a bit heavy if over sprayed. Also, the clean+animalic aspect could be really nice on a summer night, I think I'll experiment with it next summer.

I just received this fragrance. I like it already! I do get a bit of the clean laundry scent mixed with delicate flowers. The opening is a bit sharp and the dry down in a soft musk. I finally have enough experience with middle eastern scents to be able to tell that this one will definitely need some time to mature. I can’t tell you what it will smell like once that happens, but I think it will be beautiful in a couple months and that sharp opening will be gone. I have other scents I will use and revisit this periodically until it develops! I’ll keep you all posted! One week later, it’s already starting to change. The screechiness has lessened and I actually think it has become a bit more powdery, but not in a baby powder way. I kind of like where this is heading but I will still let you know if anything else changes.

I like this one and I find that I’m very picky about predominant musk fragrances. I guess though looking at all the notes, I generally like all of them. It’s the white florals that can go funky on me. There is a very slight vintage funk, but I’m hoping that will go away with maturity. Rouat is fresh, floral and slightly soapy or laundryesque, but nothing over the top. I would say this leans female whereas Musk Salama leans male and is too strong and woody for me. Not bad for $15 especially with such a pretty bottle! I think my favorite musks though are still Dua Therapy, Lattafa Velvet Musk, Kayali Musk 12 and Gulf Orchid Angel Musk. Edit: The funk goes away in the deep dry down and for a cheapie, pretty good dry down. Layers well with B&BW’s Infinite Radiance and their Fresh Musk.

Well, well, what an amazing find! It is very interesting that for a perfume which is named...something musk, there is no musk in the notes listed. As far as the juice is concerned, because of the fruits combined with flowers you get a fresh, but flowery outcome. You get not the typical clean musk, neither the physical one. What you get is the ...smell of a dry cleaners shop. I guess it is the mentioned combo together with amber that gives this effect. The sillage and the longevity are quite decent, too. I like the perfume a lot and especially for an oriental musk is quite western. The bottle is very nice and the juice becomes pink as it sits. I personally love it and I recommend it for all the musk lovers outhere. It is a safe and cheap investment!

I bought this after reading the reviews because I thought it would be a floral and fruity fragrance. However, it is not fruity at all. I pick up the citrus from the mandarin orange, and I also pick up the white flowers and jasmine notes. I do not smell any vanilla or amber notes. But this is very fresh and clean. An aldehyde note needs to be added because it reminds me of fresh linen drying in the crisp summer breeze. This is a perfect fragrance for summer and spring. Overall, it's not what I expected, but it is a lovely, fresh, clean perfume. Edit: So, it's been a few days since I have used this. I live in SoCal, so it gets really hot. I wore this when it was 80-85 degrees, but today was cool and rainy, so I could finally smell the fruity notes.

whoever said that this smells like straight up cotton, linen and laundry detergent is lying in your face. it smells like fresh, musky bakhour to me, which is nice but not what i've expected - it has this clean musk with a lot of citrus and florals in the background. it doesn't really smell soapy of like laundry detergent on my skin, which is what i've been looking for in an arab fragrance and tried to shoot my shot for this one, but it smells more musky and citrusy. it does smell like fresh and clean musk but theres also some kind of spice in my opinion. to sum it up - it's a fresh, floral musk fragrance. i can't judge the longevity and performance of this fragrance since i've just got it 5 minutes ago.

My sister's husband bought this on a trip to Dubai for himself, tried it, and did not like it so I ended up with it! Its a very fresh and clean, feminine, slightly musky fragrance. Its pretty strong if you spray abundantly (I do) and you can smell it on you and your clothes throughout the day. I say its a good 6-7 hours of strength and it last a longer time on clothes. I tend to reach for it in warm weather as this is a good one for the heat. The bottle alone is worth buying, its the prettiest bottle of perfume I currently have. If you are looking for a middle eastern fragrance, and are not too familiar with them, this is a safe buy.

What are the kids saying nowadays? Clean girl vibes? this is it When they say Musk they meant it! But musky in a good way. Light and fresh. Definitely just hopped out the shower smell. If you didnt shower, and just sprayed this on, i feel like you could fool people. (but please dont, please do shower) I get a hint of fruits and sweetness in the opening but that dissipates almost immediately and i get just a soapy, laundry fresh smell. Not very long lasting but you get a nice little scent bubble around you

This will be short. I like this, wears on skin nicely, on clothes it smells like they were just laundered. I've sprayed it on my bed and my partner thought I changed all of the bedding. Very intense silliage so you need to be careful; nice sprayer. Metal charms jangle around the bottle in such a satisfying way it's almost a fidget toy 2in1. I think it's very worth the price (under £20) for how beautiful the bottle is, and if you don't like it on your skin, great room spray.

lovely fragrance! i can only smell detergent and fabric softener in this, and maybe just a bit floral and honey (although there's no honey note?). reminds me of the time in highschool when i couldn't use perfume so i just use a ton of fabric softener to wash my shirts so everyone could smell me the next day. very inoffensive, clean, freshly washed clothes vibe. i love it, amazing for its price. not sure i'll buy a full bottle though because i've grown out of it

Let’s not beat around the bush...this is so very pretty, especially the dry down. I have never smelt anything else like it. My husband never says anything about my perfumes, ever! When I first sprayed it he said “that’s nice n fresh” I was stunned and pleased by his reaction! He’s right, it’s fresh in a clean way, soapy powder in the best way. Light pale blush pink is what it smells of to me and I love it! It’s beautiful. Lattafa smashed it! Well done!

Just got it earlier in the mail. It's ok. Not an AMAZING fresh scent, but it's just ok. Nothing special. It smells very clean. More floral than I expected. I didn't get any soap vibes. This is a very strong scent. It lasts about 8 hrs. It will mask whatever else you're wearing, so it's not very good for layering tbh Update: the dry down after about 30 minutes, is definitely sweeter and there is a subtle laundry scent. Very nice.

This perfume smells like fresh laundry with a citrusy kick to it. It's not very durable on the skin, but it's still nice. I wouldn't pick it as a favourite smell as it's quite mid. It's perfect when you want to smell good but don't want to waste your good perfumes. If I were to compare it to a historical event, it would be that one "war" where 44 men went into battle and 45 returned, because they found one random guy on the way.

Not at all what I expected. I thought this would be musky, and soapy. It is very fruity, floral and fresh! I also detect some sort of aldehyde note that is not listed. I also get a kind of green melon or water lily note in the middle. It smells like freshly washed clothes, just hung out to dry. Bright, fresh, almost slightly aquatic. This would be a great daytime scent for hot spring and summer days.

Just got it, when initially sprayed i thought it might be TOO floral for my liking, but after a few minutes it turned into a wonderful clean scent. I will be wearing this during the summer. A good blind buy if youre into flowery scents. Also, i wouldnt say its soapy but when i smell it it does remind me of flower scented hard soap.

The first 15 min after spraying are brutal. Smells like a mixture of laundry and the dentist office. When it settles down it smells fresh and floral. The scent is alright not something special. But it lasts a very long time, 7-9 hours on me, which is very hard to find for a fresh and light scent.

Don't be fooled with the idea that this is a musky oriental perfume. This smells strongly of white florals and has a vintage soap scent to it. It has a similar vibe as Anais Anais but not as complex and sofisticated. Great clean creamy scent for when you want to take a walk or after a shower.

Smells chic, it is fresh, clean, yes it smells like fabric softener and nothing is wrong with that because we all do like our clothes to smell good. Its a white floral freshness scent and is good for summer, I think I can even wear this in winter, just overspray a bit. The bottle is gorgeous

This is such a pretty scent! It's definitely floral-forward, with the orange blossom and white flowers really shining through. The mandarin orange adds a nice juicy touch at the beginning, and it dries down to a warm and inviting amber and vanilla. Perfect for spring or summer evenings.
