Shaheen Silver

This is my first review on fragrantica. After wearing it on a very special day for me I decided to write a review. This fragrance is a great dupe/inspired by Creed Aventus. If I were to tell you how it smells, it is more of an Aventus Absolu clone, but taking away most of the fruitiness and putting forward the background of Absolu. In the opening you get a very slightly fruity and citrusy top note that slowly fades away and leaves this extremely green smell, a bit marijuana like even. -Performance: It lasts quite a while on my skin and I can smell it for hours on end. Good sillage, leaves a trail. -Vesatility: Very versatile, could probably wear this anywhere, in all seasons. -Should you buy this? It's redundant if you have any other creed dupes, especially SNOI as that one smells extremely similar. Price to what you get is really nice though, so yeah it's worth a buy. DON'T BLIND BUY THOUGH... Although appealing to most people, it's not something that everyone would wear. -Are there any better alternatives? Yeah, it's the greenest of the bunch, but CDNIM Limited is more appealing, SNOI is also more appealing. -Overall: 9/10 when considering the price. Great green fragrance. Very masculine. EDIT: I've done some more sniff-sniff and now I can safely say that there is more out there. Hypnotic Amber by Arabiyat, its better in every way to my nose. Another fragrance that goes on its own way compared to Aventus and Hacivat, but that one is just a better scent and has better performance. Do with this information as you will. Do smell the other before buying.

Arguably a better Afnan SNOI for me and the best interpretation of this DNA; at about €24 this is a no-brainer after trying almost all the options available. Theres not much to add off whats already known about the scent except for me this is probably the smoothest of all, which is definitely an unpopular opinion. The blackcurrant is fruiter and smoother and the smokiness is a lot more rounded making it a better overall blend, more natural smelling than SNOI. Performance is good as well, does last easy 5-6 hours on my skin with good projection for the first 90 mins or so. I can imagine the performance being better post-maturation, so I will update the review accordingly. Presentation is okayish, I am not a fan of the overly heavy cap and the bulky bottle (perfer SNOI here for sure) but it does scream quality. Overall, for me personally this is as good as it gets from this DNA among all the clones; at half the price, this is an underrated and under-appreciated offering that often gets overlooked for the likes of SNOI and CDNIM. Lattafa has done a great job with this and you should try it out! Highly recommended!

Damp Forest in Jewelled Greens with Dappled Sunlight... This is inspired by Aventus Creed, although the pineapple facet is muted here in a really lovely way. The main experience here, is like walking beside a stream through a damp forest in rich, dark shades of green. Above in the tree canopy, dappled cut-outs allow shafts of citrus-y sunlight to filter through and illuminate the shades of green in jewelled tones. Opens with with a burst of fruity citrus featuring bergamot & cassis, but any sharpness from fruits is muffled through a mossy filter of oakmoss & musk that swells up from the base. Patchouli is there too, with damp, earthy tones. I also get an impression of vetiver (though it isn't listed), and some fresh, cedar-y pencil shaving notes. The performance is well above average. and it's super well blended. I got a free 20 mL sample of this and I was pleasantly surprised. It's unisex, and anyone could wear it, but leans masculine to my nose. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

Lataffa Shaheen Silver is a STRONG performing fragrance. It performs very well. It last super long (8+ hours) on my skin and days on clothes. I am amazed how beastmode this fragrance really is!! I had a bank teller (that was working behind a solid plexiglass frame) tell me that I smell very nice. It's crazy because I was only in line for less than 3 minutes. Several people asked me what I was wearing and I just said "Creed Aventus". Lol.. I knew they wouldn't recognize the name Lataffa Shaheen Silver. This fragrance is definitely in the same vein as Creed Aventus DNA. If you like a strong fragrance that performs and smells nice..THIS IS IT!!👍

Nose Note #732 CDNIM may be my favourite version of Aventus, but this is also great. This is a bit too oakmossy. You can call it a twist on the DNA, it's not a close clone. Little to no pineapple vibes. Not very smoky. It's in the middle between Aventus and Armaf Ego Tigre. Lasts long enough. Fragrance World Black Leather despite being dirt cheap and not as long lasting - the scent itself is a closer dupe, for example. 8.8/10, just because it's a good enough clone

The best Creed Aventus inspiration! It's so addictive!!! I have the OG and a bunch of popular clones, and I like it better than all of them. I think it's saying something... Very recommended!! it's so cheap that you won't really lose from trying it. Also, you can find a sample of 20ml of that and it will cost you about nothing.

This is Afnan SNOI without the inkiness of the Black Currant. Does NOT perform the same as SNOI though, this is respectable, but not in your face. Lasts about 6-7 hours maybe. If you are like me, and LOVE your green Aventus profile, then this is for you.

It’s giving creed but middle eastern. Edit: I’ve been coming and going from this for several months and now I fucking love it lol. It’s like aventus but just a little different... no pineapples. But it’s actually good, I was sleeping on it.

I bought this in October and my first impressions were okay, too woody for my liking; but, after smelling it again it has dried down to more of a pleasant woodiness that's not overpowering which lets the fruit scents come through.

Honestly this one is a great pick if you’re looking for a good creed substitute. It sorta has its own little twist to it. Longevity is much better than creed. Silage is not too crazy so it’s easy to wear. I’m all for it!

This is basically Aventus, only with some character, boldness and gorgeous earthy touch. Blows Aventus and CDNIM out of the water in performance and sillage. No wonder it has Aventus purists rattled.

Beast mode version of Creed Aventus, more musky, less sweet than other dupes and more refined, is not Aventus but is the best 95% dupe.

Unique, masculine and natural. Long lasting fragrance. Good for forest people like me, fits perfectly in the woods.

after macerating for a month it smells like beetroot

Haven't tried many Aventus DNA clones (Cedrat Boise, CDNIM) I definitely prefer this over Club de Nuit Intense Man EDT version due to that opening. In terms of closeness to my batch of Aventus (G01) I give it about an 85% same vein and smooth scent through and through however it is only a touch fruity; much more earthy interpretation, I will be updating this when my bottle of Hacivat comes in. EDIT: Smells 80% to Hacivat the moss comes in different and much nicer in Hacivat and is noticeably different. I'll chalk it up to more of a base heavy CDNIM EDT clone with a less lemon/harsh citrus opening. Performance is also on par with that so owning both seems a bit redundant but if like me you cannot stand the opening of CDNIM or want an alternative this is a good slightly elevated replacement in my opinion. These comparisons are my perception of the scent. I hope it was helpful to anyone looking into this. 8/10 scent 9/10 overall (price:performance factored in here as well)

I've had this for quite some time now and while I do think it is good quality, I haven't worn it a whole lot as I do have other frags of the same DNA that I personally prefer over this. Why ? Well, it's very smokey, a little too smokey for my tastes and it also lacks the more fruity aspects of the DNA and doubles down on the oakmoss/patchouli/bergamot tones. It does perform very well, spray too much and you won't just choke yourself out with this one, but everyone else around you. It's also a little more expensive (at least where I live) than the other Aventus dupes I have and that's another reason I wouldn't get this again, or have gotten it in the first place (I originally bought it when I was very naive and lacking in knowledge/experience with the frag world as such I didn't know it was one of many dupes of Aventus).

honestly i don't pick up as much moss in this as other people. to my nose this feels like a slightly sweeter, less sour, less bitter birch CDNIM dry down. i dunno what is it exactly, but there is definitely something which occupies the same spot as birch in CDNIM, it just isn't as tart/bitter but smells pretty similar otherwise. the sour citrus/bitter birch combo in CDNIM smells pretty much like spruce to my nose, and Shaheen avoids that, which is a welcome change. the moss note in Shaheen definitely doesn't smell like a moss in SNOI or Fattan to me. i'd say Shaheen is like a mixture of 80% CDNIM dry down and 20% SNOI opening, which is pretty good. overall, i am not a fan of aventus dna, but out of aventus clones i have tried (CDNIM Limited, CDNIM parfum, Zebra, Supremacy Silver, SNOI) Shaheen would be my favourite.

Definitely another inspiration of Aventus. Smells like a clone of Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense. Get this if you want a mature version of Aventus with black currant being star of the show instead of pineapple, the citrus dialed down a tiny bit and a little more smoky. Opening is very strong with a blast of alcohol and harsh for a few minutes. Smell it up close and you’ll realize the quality of ingredients and level of perfumery. 5-6 hours on skin, projects loud for up to 2 hours, but dry down is just the citrus/fruits and 0 smoke. I have all 3 frags referenced. Get it only if the Afnan isn’t available. Not Only Intense beats this in all categories. It is smoother, no harsh opening, projection is just perfect, beast mode longevity, and smells of higher quality.

Shaheen Silver is a nice Middle Eastern interpretation of the Aventus DNA. It has a slightly leathery vibe in the opening, maybe they where trying to recreate the smoky pineapple using leather. Then it stabilizes and it turns into a mossy pineapple. Blackcurrant is also there but it's not the main note. It doesn't have the screechy opening from CDNIM. I also tried Le Chameau Arabia Explorer, but this one feels even more leathery. Projection is moderate and lasts around 3-4 hours, then it becomes a close to skin scent. Longevity is almsot 6-7 hours. I could wear this on any weather except extreme hot weather.
