Sheikh Al Shuyukh Supreme

I like it. It is fresh from the opening, and you get this sweet, caramel-like drydown. In my opinion, you can wear this year-round; it's versatile enough. Maybe not in the highest summer heat, but on a cool evening? why not? There are enough alternatives on the market for this scent profile, but none of them beat its price. It is so cheap, but smells great. The bottle is a mess, though. I do like the frosted blue glass, but apparently, they use the same front decal as the Luxe Edition. On my bottle, you can clearly see the original letters shimmering through the thin gold print with a misaligned "Supreme" decal. The cap is flimsy and light, and it also says "Luxe Edition." It made me wonder if it was real, so I checked the Lattafa website, and I do have a genuine bottle. I've uploaded a picture to the Fragram section so you can see the shimmering 'Luxe' text under the 'Supreme' print and the Luxe cap for yourself. But honestly, that is nitpicking. I paid only 14 euros for this bottle, and it smells very nice. For such a low price, it is a no-brainer.

Been giving this one a few wears after buying it a couple of weeks ago. I already have the OG Scandal Absolu and Armaf's Mandarin Sky in my collection. Based on the reviews I expected a clone of the Absolu-version, but in my opinion it's not fruity/woody enough to be called an exact clone of that. It misses that delicious plum-note in that regard. It's much closer to the original Scandal and very close to Mandarin Sky. I find this one a bit better than Mandarin Sky. It's cleaner and opens fresher, while Mandarin Sky is very good but for me it has a sharp edge in the drydown. Performance is equal on both this one and Mandarin Sky, which is a compliment because they both last and project above average. Altough imo it's not a clone of Absolu, I really love it. It's the OG Scandal but made even slightly better/more pleasing because of the freshness 🏆

Really nice scent. Sweet floral, mixed with warm, rich vanilla and caramel. I think it is the vanilla and caramel that almost gives it a slight coconutty sunscreen feel. A lot of ppl think this is a winter scent... but I lean more fall/spring. There many cozier, richer, deeper scents that are more suited to winter. The sweet floral (rose) in this, gives it a bright feeling (spring/fall), but the rich, warm sweetness, would be too cloying for summer. I see most people feel this leans masculine. However, I would say it is def unisex... maybe even leaning feminine! Vanilla, caramel, and rose.... all ensure it is not more masculine.

I have Armaf's Check Mate King, which is much more like the original, but I really liked this "fresh" version. It has a touch of mint and citrus at the top, which makes it more suitable for warm days, and it also softens the strong lipstick scent of the iris (maybe I'm wrong, but I can still detect a bit of iris). As it dries down, it becomes more like the original, but not as sweet, although it still retains the noticeable fresh notes. Being a bit redundant in this last phase, for me it's a good variation suitable for the summer time, so I don't mind having both. Great value for money!

Today i got a compliment for the first time that wasn't from my family or girlfriend. Cashier at pharmacy who was not close to me asked the cashier who was serving me to ask me what I'm wearing, so it must have been strong, but mind you it was after bashing 20+ sprays just before leaving, so maybe 10 minutes earlier. Anyway soon there were 3 girl cashiers chatting with me about perfumes because they were surprised it was middle east perfume. (and from their reaction it was clear they had an ick towards arabic frags, but they liked this one. Especially that one cashier xd)

Opens fresher than JPG Scandal, with a beautiful mandarin-cream accord that really shines. The opening is vibrant, and after about an hour, the mandarin swing comes full and smooth. Longevity is impressive and over 8 hours even without maceration. For the price I paid, this is an absolute steal. I would recommend it and yes, I’d buy it again. Worth noting: compared to similar scents, this one feels brighter and more energetic. I’ll let it macerate and follow up with an update.

This is absolutely amazing. Liking scents is very subjective - but this scent profile really hit the spot with me. Love it! Used it fresh out of the box yesterday and it was just a wonderful experience from start to finish. I re-sprayed after 6 hours as I like to smell fresh but it was still going. Scent on clothes is still there 24 hours later. This is gonna be in my heavy rotation for sure.

Pretty good scent, especially considering the price tag. I think it's very close to JPG Scandal or Armaf Mandarin sky....maybe a little more fresh in the opening. The dry down is closer to JPG Scandal absolu. Longevity and projection is decent, I would score it 7/10 .....Personally I like the dry down more than the opening

I have never tried Absolu but the drydown definetely smells the same as Scandal edt. Very good quality and performance, one of the cheapest fragrances ever, 10/10 in all aspects. EDIT: after few months of usage got 3 compliments at the same time.

The notes and accords are wrong. The notes should be mirabel plum, chestnut, and sandlewood. This is Scandal Absolu for the low. Lattafa hit it out of the park with this one. 9/10

Ok, i have to change my innitial review, from dislike to love. Maybe its the maceration or i got used to the profile. The opening is nice, but the drydown is amazing.

Fresh, strong, rich, exellent aura and lasting power on me and my hb. The price ridiculous. I'm going to enjoy it this summer.

This smells like a bitter Almond Body Lotion, Almost stays linear throughout , and a good perfomer, Cant go wrong for 10$

Fragrantica notes are wrong. Just get this if you want Scandal Absolu for cheap. Certified BANGER!

Wow smells absolutely amazing should be a lot more expensive than it is

I got this few days ago. Never had the OG but very familiar with JPG since early 2000's so I thought I knew what to expect. First, I don't know if there is inconsistency in batches but out of the box this one doesn't live too long. Initial expression was strong, sweet and dense as one would expect in true JPG fashion (and from it's doupes) but after 4 hours it was merely a skin scent. Also it was quite flat or rounded in the sense it didn't really have layers to explore. Might need a month or two to mature but it is still too weak imo and I am thinking that this batch is weaker as it definetely is not a long lasting opposite to most reviews. The second thing I noticed, and this is more of a subjective observation, was that the scent profile is very familiar to female scents from the late 90's. Personally I can't get over it no matter how much I try and even I really want to like it for personal use this one ends up on wifes shelf. At best this can be used for layering. For me this is a fragrance for a mature woman. Elegant, classy and sweet but feminine in it's expression. I can't find anything masculine about it and if I smell it on a man it communicates to me something very specific which I can not associate myself with. I will just have to leave it that. To a discerning palate, this definitely falls short in that regard.

A lot less mandarin then Mandarin sky, and a lot weaker. If you get cardboardy caramel scent from Sky you'll also get that here as well. Decent purchase especially for the price, but a much more synthetic twist on the caramel which I like decently but wouldn't wear over mandarin sky or the OG.

Opens up citrusy then i get the spices and tonka, with a smooth caramel drydown, very good for the price, mass appealing, for colder weather

Why are all these dupes such highly rated? My guess is that a bunch of poors finally found a dupe that they can afford that doesn't smell like shit and call it a 10. While this dupe might smell good, its for women. It reaks of femininity. Yall poors keep bumping that perfume so that we men have more women to choose from.

I LOOOOVE the original Sheikh al Shuyukh and I'm super-disappointed with this. It's sort of fresh and citrusy and marine and it dries down to like..watermelon rind? There are no citrus or marine notes listed, so it COULD be just me, but I don't like this one at all

Out of the first spray, you can immediately recognize the JPG Scandal in it. It is extremely close and on fabric, you can catch the scent even after couple of days. For the price it is no doubt to have if you do like Scandal though.

Yes it does remind scandal but it smells so cheap. I gave it away, Odyssey Mandarin sky is soooo much better

Unfortunately, this one was just a headache in a bottle for me. I’ve never experienced anything like it before—there’s something in this fragrance that’s seriously headache-inducing, and it completely ruined the experience. Which sucks, because it actually smells nice. It’s smooth, especially for the price I got it at. But from the first spray, the scent is very linear. It opens with what smells like a low-quality attempt at a realistic orange note—leaning warm, syrupy, and a bit artificial. Projection isn’t crazy, but it creates a decent bubble for about an hour and a half. After that, it sits close to the skin for a solid 6–7 hours. After letting it macerate for over a month, it did improve. It started to resemble more of an orange-flavored cake or a juicy mandarin—less “budget” and more rounded. Still, that didn’t save it for me. I’m not someone who usually gets headaches from fragrances, but this one does me dirty every single time I wear it. Overall, it’s a creamy, sweet orange scent with moderate performance and sillage. But yeah... I don’t recommend it.

Ok, so I bought this based on comments below. And because Armaf Checkmate King still holds its £40-£50 price half a year later and it's still quite scarce in the UK. I only buy when prices drop to waht they should be. Like Mashrabya or Asad Bourbon (great fragrances) went from £40 to a mere £17-£18 after about half a year. However, I'm not sure who selects/votes for "reminds me of" or the "notes" but this perfume is not JPG Scandal Absolu. Never smelled Mandarin Sky, can't comment on that. These are the only two listed in reminds me of, at the moment. Also THE NOTES listed ARE COMPLETELY OFF! Now, please remember, this is a brand new just opened bottle, and a touch chemical, but expected. I'm not sure what it is supposed to be inspired by or clone, but the truth is that to me, this is reminiscent of Dior Poison (not sure which particular one, as there are many flankers nowadays, but Poison was my mum's perfume and I got instantly reminded of it as I first smelled it). I haven't smelled Poison in many years, so not sure how similar it is when compared side-by-side, but that's where this goes from a brand new fresh bottle. I imagine it will change over a few weeks, but for now it is what it is. Very coconutty too. Sugary. A touch flowery. Sweet and fresh-ish at the same time. Possibly watermelon rind-ish like someone said below. Quite a mess in my opinion, but not a bad one. Captivating smell. Just like Dior Poison. I did not expect this at all. But I guess an update after a few weeks would make more sense, maybe it transforms into Scandal Absolu, who knows. Best of luck! Update: Ok, it kind of dries down to the opening of Scandal Absolu. That's after a couple of hours though. I blame the scent on the fact that the bottle is brand new, so maybe that's why it doesn't yet smell of what it should (I guess). Give it time, they say. Lots of nasty comments on here- first off why should poor people not smell good? As one comment says it’s highly rated as the poors think it’s a 10 out of 10. Meaning they have never smelled decent expensive niche perfumes. If it wasn’t for dupe fragrances then a lot of the niche fragrances would not be so popular- as in my case dupe fragrances have lead me to buying the original. This fragrance is lovely, I do see similarities to Armaf mandarin sky it’s a pleasant day to day fragrance at a great price.

Sweet and attention grabbing scent. Quite unique and strong -- I smell caramelized apricot, mandarin and patchouli. It's classified as unisex however it slightly leans feminine in my opinion, but as a man it's enjoyable to wear on a cold, dark day to brighten it up. It's very similar to Armaf Mandarin Sky but Al Shuyukh Supreme might be a bit heavier in the opening. Buy whichever one is the cheapest.

I have loved wearing this today, for the first time! Sexy, delicious caramel plum fragrance! For £16.66 for 100ml it was a complete steal. Easily over 8 hours longevity for me, I re-sprayed after 8 and a half hours, but really didn’t need to. Very, very enjoyable smelling this coming off me all day today

When I first got this, smelled really good, fresh caramel like. Now it smells like absolute shit. 5 dollar fragrance quality. Opens like ass. Dries down even worse. Will update, but this is the first fragrance I got that got worse over time. Insane

Just to repeat what others have said, the notes here are wrong. The notes listed are the Lux Edition, which is a similar style bottle with a yellow/gold colour. This version is JPG Scandal Absolu, but a slightly fresher take on the OG.

I've tried to like this and so many people seem to- but to me its a very boring creamy citrus. maybe thats what the original smells like too, it doesn't smell bad but just nothing about it stands out for me.

8.5/10 Really good clone if you took account the surprisingly low price tag it would be a 12/10 amazing gourmand loved it would recommend

These notes are incorrect, they are the notes for the Luxe edition. Supreme should be Mirabel Plum, Chestnut and Sandalwood.
