Suqraat

With my review I will make comparison to Profumo since that will be a large part of why some will be exploring this scent. It’s why I explored it. Despite Suqratt not showing it, there’s an incense note that’s a common thread across both scents. Above the incense, where Profumo utilises a herbal rosemary citrus marine, Suqratt’s note construction delivers a fruity light ginger herbal aquatic. I use the note descriptions for each in that order intentionally for impression. Below the incense where Profumo uses a soft warming patchouli as an undercurrent, with Suqratt I still detect a light amount of patchouli but it’s thickened out with a somewhat dense but neutral feeling musk. On a personal note, I don’t normally like patchouli, but in both scents it’s handled so well I can’t help but enjoy it. With both scents the incense weaves the top and bottom together to form a complex, comforting scent that I can not deny leaves me feeling that Suqratt captures a significant amount of Profumo’s DNA. That’s instantly recognisable as soon as you apply it. I also get, perhaps surprisingly, the same sense of comfort from both. The difference however is that Suqratt’s overall tone is lighter and somewhat more aquatic/translucent, where as Profumo is a bit more herbal and heavier of the two largely because of the patch in the base. I will emphasise that they both have solid complexity in their wear though, just a different tone in each with Suqratt being somewhat lighter. As far as durability, with both Profumo and Suqratt I find the top somewhat uneventful. They both seem to need about 15 minutes to warm up and start developing/projecting. Then at the 2 hr mark both scents start to taper off but Profumo gets the longer wear for the fact that it uses patch in the base. That said on my skin Suqratt still has good longevity and I think that’s in part because there’s a very slight amount of ambroxan in the base to stretch it out, but it’s so well handled it’s not in any way distasteful or distracting, thank goodness. Despite these differences I find I love them both very much equally and I will almost certainly wear them as often as each other.

I honestly think this is great. As you can expect, lemony-zesty opening that doesnt really disappear throughout. Nice oceanic, airy frag with very subtle woods and nice musk. It is quite linear (although I'm only 3 hours into the first full day wear) and it'll be the zesty, airy, soft woody, musky scent. There isn't much incense outstanding from the rest of it but the musk can be a little incensey to my nose which I think compliments everything elso going on. I was gifted a 4-set of samples from Armani about 12-15years ago and I haven't smelt any of them since. I can say that Suqraat reminds exactly of what the EDT smelt like. Sprayed about 6-8 maybe and keep getting nice wafts of it from arms length. Hoping it persists for a good few hours. Value for money in unrivalled with this. EDIT: Now 6 1/2(ish) hours in. Pretty much a skin scent now, wish I had the bottle with me to reapply as I still enjoy the scent just as much as when it was projecting well. Fragrance performs on clothes better imo and definitely more woody/musky.incensey and less citrussy/fresh on clothes. Still happy with the purchase in terms of value for money and will wear it again.

I really don’t get the obsession with this DNA. After hearing the fragrance community rave about how Lattafa Suqraat brought the legendary Acqua di Giò Profumo back from the dead, I had to try it. If this is what everyone was mourning, I think it should have stayed buried. I’m a huge fan of the original Acqua di Giò. The OG is a masterpiece because it’s clean, airy, and smells like a fresh Mediterranean breeze. But this? To my nose, this is just a musty mess. Instead of smelling "deep" or "masculine," it smells like a group of guys who just finished a heavy gym session and tried to cover it up with an old-school herbal spray. There is a damp, heavy quality here likely the mix of incense and patchouli that feels dated and "sweaty" rather than fresh. It lacks all the transparency and "sparkle" that makes the original ADG so good. If you want to smell like a damp locker room, the hype is real. But if you actually want to smell clean and pleasant, stick to the original or move on to something modern like Profondo. Don't believe the hype if you hate "musty" scents"

Working my way through my Lattafa's . Today is the turn of "Suqraat". Apparently, as my good friend from Jordan informed me..it means "Socrates" in English. Firstly I really like the bottle and presentation. Beautiful Arabic writing on the front in a large script .Strange silver webbing pattern on the bottle. Looks great! Very large, sturdy bottle and cap and a good sprayer. Anyway, the scent is basically a 90% clone of Giorgio Armani's Acqua di Gio Profumo. I have owned the original, and while I thought it was a very good fragrance I had longevity issues with my batch. Suqraat seems to last really well on me and has survived a full work day. Had a few compliments as well. As with AdG Profumo it's a very classy, and likable fresh, woody scent with the aquatic/marine like DNA. If I am being overly critical, you don't quite get as much of the incense note in the dry down as the original, but for under $20 this is an excellent alternative and I can barely tell the difference!

So amazing! I love the ADG DNA, but I have never actually tried Parfumo I've only tried three different dupes, and this one and Aribyat Prestige Raaes Luxury Edition. I think this one and the Raaes are too notch. I think this one is a little more juicy and bright and cheery overall than the Raaes(probably more ginger), and the Raaes is more spicy, and incense intense than Suqrat. Both very close, both last forever for me, and projection is about the same. Overall I don't know which I like better they are both incredible and about the same price considering you get a giant bottle with the Raaes. I think most enthusiasts for the real thing, and also just most frag heads in general would pick the Raaes. By the way does anyone else think the writing above Suqrat says blow?

Great clone of ADG Profumo, sillage is okay, longevity is ok, it's cheap, so overspraying it doesn't hurt the wallet as much as anything else, so feel free to overspray. I really love the scent, it just doesn't last as long as I would like. The only difference between this and Profumo that I can tell, especially from the opening is that this has..kind of a cheap cardboard smell to it, but I compared them both on my wrists to my sister, who knows nothing about fragrances, and she said this was the original (lol) which tells you a lot. Personally, I love layering this with something woody like mahogany teakwood body spray from Bath and Body, just to give it a bit of a twist and originality, and it smells amazing together(I do this with my profumo bottle as well) 8.5/10

I have a few clone cheapies that I really enjoy and I enjoy them so much that I have bought back up bottles since the scent is great and the price is under $20 at many sites. Lattafa Suqraat smells fresh on skin, clothes and in the air. I find that it last long and I can pretty much smell it all around me throughout the day. I do 10-15 sprays with all my colognes I'm an oversprayer and I work in a cool office environment for 8hr. a day. I love this scent and the other cheapie that I have extra bottles of is Star Men Nebula. I usually buy them together on Amazon or TT Shop. Each one is usually under $20 making it a no brainer selection. Star Men Nebula is a bit darker,boozier,heavier scent.

This grew on me a lot from paper spray to hand test to full wear. It's their clone of Armani Acqua Di Gio Profumo. It opens with spicy ginger and a blast of bergamot, transitioning quickly into a fresh and aromatic lavender and violet heart. The base warms from the amber and gets slightly salty on top of musky sandalwood. The late dry down is what I really came to enjoy as the salty musk sandalwood sticks around. It's not listed, but I swear I get whiffs of an incense analog too (possibly from the wood/musk interaction tricking me into wanting it?), which Profumo is obviously known for. It's not a 1:1 but it is absolutely in the family and is a fantastic wear.

First impression: it smells great. It's like a superior version of ADG EDP without that nauseating salty note. I'm picking up citrus and ginger at the top, with a hint of spice/wood in the background. It's sweet, but not overly so, and exudes a very masculine vibe. If it suits your skin chemistry, this could easily become someone's signature scent. I'll provide an update tomorrow after wearing it for a full day. The scent is still noticeable on my hand, indicating decent sillage. Overall, I'm quite pleased with it. I've blind-bought $40 fragrances that were far worse.

Strong life, moderate sillage, incredible DNA. Opening evokes that citrus spice we all know and love AdG / profundo for, not as marine forward. You won't get that blast of salty freshness; However this one does a great job at rounding out that citrus with a clean Lavender and the sandalwood comes through early. Dry down is a secret ingredient to my layering - always adds a bright musk rather than that heavy lingering, almost tingy musk that often accompanies the market lately. Daily or blended special occasion, this one is a must for everyone into that AdG DNA.

This is honestly one of the best clones of any fragrance I have smelled. No harsh opening like a lot of other clones. The price value is remarkable (50 AED in the UAE, about $13), as well as the quality of the product. It is 80% profumo, with not quite as much depth and a bit fresher, so also has EDT similarities. As Profumo is one of my all time favourite designers this is so good to have in my collection. Doesn't project as well as Profumo but lasts about 7/8 hours as a skin scent for me. Very impressed overall and deserves its high rating.

This one is nice. A masculine, inoffensive, sweet/musky year-round, all occasion scent that's perfectly acceptable in the office, the gym, or anyplace where you don't want to announce your presence. Smells nice, but normal application results in it becoming a skin scent after a couple of hours -- so overspraying or re-applying later in the day might be necessary. Doesn't project unless you overspray and/or spray on clothing to make it stick out a bit. It's decent enough for what it is: a typical fresh, blue scent. Would I buy again? Yes.

Suqraat is a nice versatile summer cheapie. It is 95% similar to Jazzab silver by Ard Al Zaafaran. It's slightly better blended than Jazzab, but they're practically the same. So whichever's cheaper will do. As for the scent, I don't think it's an ADG Profumo clone as it's not as dense and bitter. I think it's 70% ADG EDT, and 30% Profumo. It's a safe blind buy if you like that DNA. It's quite pleasant and gives vacation vibes. I get about 5 hours of longevity with subtle projection. I say it's worth getting when it's priced right.

Mixing this with a hint of Davidoff Zino will probably take you closer to Profumo... Suqraat has a strong Lavender. Still a good cheap fragrance on its own for Socratic reflections, freshies are not meant to last, so decant and respray if you want to keep the freshness coming Edit: The more I wear it, the more I smell the Aqua Di Gio DNA with incense. This is a great scent for the price and you should try it if you want a replacement for the ADG Profumo. After slight maturation the top gets better and performance improves.

Ok, this is an ADG, inspired cologne, can’t pinpoint the exact one but closer to parfum to me. Most of these UAE fragrances need to macerate for a few months to reach their full potential. Because they ship right away after manufacturing. Also, everybody’s skin is a little bit different oilier skin tends to hold onto fragrance longer than dry skin. Look most ADG’s are $100+ if you like that DNA this is well worth the money. Even if you have one of the ADG‘s, you can save that for a special events and use this every day.

To be honest, I find this perfume quite weak, but it's perfectly suitable for a day at the office. Lately, I've grown to really enjoy it. It's neither super fresh nor formal, but it's inoffensive enough and doesn't overwhelm my nose throughout the day. If I had to choose just one fragrance from my entire collection to wear to work every day, this would be the one. It's affordable, and the quality is surprisingly good for the price. EDIT: I need to be fair - nowadays is my fav with this DNA. For the price, it's a steal!

It’s a really solid ADG dupe. Super fresh and nostalgic, and it doesn’t smell cheap at all. The only downside is that it doesn’t last whatsoever. I sprayed it on my clothes at 10 am and by 12 pm I could barely smell it. I had to get right up close just to catch the slightest trace. So I think it’s perfect for the gym or a quick grocery run. Overall I really like it it has its place, and if I want something with better longevity I’ve got plenty of other options.

Overall: 8/10 [as a gym fragrance 9.5/10] Scent = 3/3 Performance = 1/3 (that could be a good thing) Wearability = 3/3 Value = 1/1 It is really close to ADG Profumo. The price is outstanding. Performance factor is lacking but it could be a good thing, for example, if you wear fragrances in the gym and the gym. For that purpose, this is one of the best fragrances out there. Quality is outstanding. Waiting for this to get to the market in my country.

At $25, this is a great "inspiration" in the ADG family. Not quite Profumo, but not very different either; fresher than ADG. Performance is not great - four hour range. Gym/Office scent, small projection, inoffensive. Nothing out of this world, but a very nice fragrance and dumb reach for most occasions at a great price. I like this better than 360 Red as an ADG alternative in this price range.

The scent is nice and is definitely in the ADG family. It has some Profumo vibes, but the earthy/incense is toned down- it's more aquatic. The big issue for me is performance. So far it's a skin scent within an hour or so, with not a lot of projection. I'm going to try again in a few weeks as a past Lattafa fragrance I had (Ejaazi OG) got stronger with time.

I'll get right to the point. If you collect fragrances and you're into clones or "inspired by", this should be a core holding in your portfolio. For the pennies that this fragrance costs, naysayers should be ignored by all means necessary. Blind buy safe and for what it is, it's every bit a: 8.5 / 10.0

Please layer this with Rose! The fragrance alone is great, it smells like the ADG Parfum vials i have but with no incense.. which i like. I ordered the OG which im now returning since it is redundant. My designer/middle eastern fragrance time is done, now time to save up and dive into niche collecting!

As someone who loves the original ADG Profumo and has burnt through multiple bottles and editions, this one hits the spot. It’s quite weak but you can get past that by overspraying (I’m talking 20+ sprays) but it’s probably the closest clone I’ve found of one of my favourite fragrances. Just buy it

I love this stuff. I can't believe some of these negative reviews. This is such a fresh, spicy masculine scent. It is an easy to reach anytime wear type of scent. I'm not going to lie I own three bottles of this fragrance. It's not a beast performer but it's no light weight either. It's just right.

Been a fan of ADG for my whole life, Suqraat has enough of that DNA to satisfy that thirst for me. Decent sillage and longevity for the restaurant environment I work in. Everyone is different but I am absolutely in love with this fragrance. Always better to give a try for yourself. 8/10 for me.

When I first got this I thought it smelt like burnt rubber and cat pee but after maceration I love this fragrance and is a top summer fragrance it’s sweet and fresh and really good I would recommend buying now this summer and let it macerate till next summer or spring and it will be amazing

Just picked this up for $16.99 @ Burlington. This is absolutely super crazy awesome for that price. Not sure how anyone could possibly complain unless they’re just overly critical. Super fresh and uplifting. Great summer fragrance. Non offensive. I’m totally happy having this one.

Acqua di gio parfum but not in fishy ways.. kinda similar to immensite dna which is very mass appealing, moderate performance and good for summer fragrance. This is a just opinion from my nose, the rest just trying yourself, not everyone getting paid to review a fragrances 🤷🏻♂️

@asif.udden i think your nose is foooooked. This is an ADG Profumo clone, and its dead on. Performan is excellent too. Peeps do yourself a favour and get this over the original, performs just as well as ADG Profumo for a tiny fraction of the price. Its a no brainer really

It’s definitely some form of adg, maybe not the og, definitely not that sharp, close enough to profumo and just a great scent for $30. I get 6-8hrs longevity and I can smell it wafting off me all day. These middle eastern houses keeping making great affordable scents.

Like this one a lot. Very easy to wear great anytime type of frag. Never owned ADG Profumo but have smelt this and tested it in store. For a fraction of the price of the original and the performance I get from Suqraat i highly recommend this fragrance. Solid 8.5/10

People really complaining about a clone I have both and they're near identical the original might have a little more "darker" incense wise but you really can't tell much at all. It's a clone! The original is done gone time to let it go just buy the newer version..

Wonder where are sea notes and patchuli in ingredients? It definitely have them both. Great scent, very formal and easy to wear. Office/meeting type. Unfortunately doesnt last long. Only difference with orginal Profumo is lack of depth with ambery incense.

I got this years ago. People saying it doesn't last must have bad or new weak batch. Mine lasts easy 12 hrs. Not just skin scent either, it pumps of even in the morning after. Shame, if the new ones are weak. Maybe it cooked over time? Mine is a banger.

I’m not sure what the OG is like but this one here is fire. And for the price you cannot beat it. I literally spray about 20 sprays on my arms neck and clothes. It last for several hours and I can refresh as needed to my liking. I love this stuff !

Wow, smells near exactly to gio's profumo, minus the deep notes that touches your tonsil in the profumo I guess? This one feels more light. Wished the performance was longer though, only got like an hour before it starts become static noise to me

This is a wonderful woodsy ginger fragrance that has become something of a dumb reach for me. It is very mass appealing and is great value for the price, the performance is so-so , 6-7 hours of ok projection. Highly recommend.

This is really good. Smoky, dark incense with bright citrus and marine notes. For me it opens up a considerable amount MORE smoky than it is in the dry down. Overall really pleasant, versatile, and only 20 bucks.

Idk maybe I have to let it sit for a couple of months but to me it smells like a worse version of Calvin Klein euphoria I don’t really like it but maybe it’ll get better in the long run but I don’t recommend

You're on a diesel pleasure boat and you've been snorkeling off the Amalfi coast. As you come into Sorrento, you can smell the lemon groves in the distance. Aqua di Gio on a budget. Very nice frag

8.5/10. Would be higher but it doesn't project at all for me. All round good smell. Reminds me of early 2000s. Doesn't project much but smells nice :3. All I got tbh it's a classic smell.

The original was discontinue, and i'm fully regret to sold this one 😞 Very airy and less incense rather the original, more easy to wear. Versatile grab and go fragrances. 9/10

Very close take on the Acqua di Gio style, I would say 95% close. Best dupe on the market in terms of quality-price-availability. Last longer than the originals.

Great scent, just got it yesterday. Great for everyday use at work or play. Got it at a good price $15. Good addition to my collection.

This scent is a banger flat out. Gets complements and last a good while. Not offensive, cheap and is great for the spring and summer.

Absolutely love the opening! Agree with RileyB on most all points, but the longevity. 3-4 sprays on skin last 2 hours at best....

It’s not really a powerful fragrance in terms of projection but when the ladies get close to me I get compliments.
