Uva Dulcis

I tried it some time ago. I'm not a big fan of overly fruity fragrances, so was a bit hesitant at first when the shop employee gave a brief intro of the perfume. But what a pleasant surprise! It's fruity and slightly sweet (not in a sickly way). There was also something kind of sour in the background (that was probably the wine). I didn't consciously notice the rose (or any kind of flower), admittedly, I was in a hurry and didn't sit with it long enough to pick out individual notes. They were all just blended into this pretty-smelling juice. The bottle and the color were gorgeous.

A rather fresh scents with grape, wine and with strong notes of patchouli and roses. I sometimes layer it with a tiny amount of Patchouli by Reminiscence to give it a bit more depth.

If you‘re into the whole red wine scent thing (or grape scent, as that is what that supposed note usually smells like; grape juice to be exact), then this might be interesting for you! Unfortunately for me, this (along with Guess 1981 indigo) turns my stomach inside out and pretty much immediately gives me a headache. I don‘t find the smell itself offensive but my body begs to differ. So, this is fine! I do find this the worst and most generic from this line.

Very strong patchouli in this. A instant dislike. But the bottle is beautiful.

With uva dulcis get ready to embark on a trip, you will pass through Italian cities with their rich artistic heritage, dream landscapes and historical places; wear a smile because Uva Dulcis exudes happiness and good humor. The top notes welcome you in a garden with a fruit basket composed of plum and pomegranate and a glass of red wine. In the heart emerges the sublime rose, which makes the perfume more sophisticated and creates a clearly feminine character. With the counterpart of pepper, however, it not only remains romantic, but becomes wonderfully spicy just like the “Dolce Vita” can be. In the base, cedarwood, patchouli and oak intertwine to create the warmth and sensuality typical of Italian people. Longevity and sillage are moderate but the trip is worth the price of the ticket.

My mum get it as a present for birthday. It is strange (in a good manner) and oudy for cold time. It is really not standard fragrance and as a third party who smelled it for some time is good.

Idk why but it smells like burnt plastic to me, especially in the opening. It may be my bottle but this is offensive.

I wanted to like it, because the idea is interesting but it smells like cheap sweet wine.
