Chemise Blanche Extreme

I'm quite surprised at the low score. When it comes to clean fragrances, this does what it says on the tin. It's a hyper-laundry scent, so clean, airy, soapey, floral, aldehydic and musky but on steroids. I love it! It's BIG and thankfully avoids screechy territory, but only just. The longevity is eternal (HOW?) and that never happens to my skin. It makes an impact, a surprising, welcome twist to this usually very blah genre. This is well executed, so pretty and satisfying to wear. Crazy expensive, as usual, but if you're into this clean frag category, this is the only one I've ever come across that will actually give you your money's worth. The bottle should last a long time.

It is fantastic, makes you feel hugged and loved, transcended and caressed but strong and kind in the same time. It is elegant and charming. Like a ray of sunshine, a soft breeze of petals, a hug and happiness. The aldehides and powdery, flowery sent stays forever on me like two days if I don't shower and it is turning heads in the best way possible without being aggressive or eye poking.

Quite serious and elegant. I mostly get lily of the valley, aldehydes and musk. Other notes, like rose and sandalwood, give some backbone to the scent but they are not very prominent. Comparing to the regular version, the ambroxan in this becomes very obvious. The regular is more airy and citrusy, and ambroxan makes this extreme version rounder and deeper.
