I'll admit the first time I sprayed this, I said "ew" out loud because of the intense woody smell. It must have been the galbanum. But a few minutes later, that gives way to sweet blackcurrant and berry. The woody smell sticks around, preventing this fragrance from becoming a standard fruity floral. Now I'm a fan of it and will probably get a full bottle when my sample runs out.

When sampling this on paper, I was immediately drawn to the beautiful note of humid leaves and a soft flowery accord that channels the more green aspect of flowers. I loved it and bought a sample to try on my skin, but sadly the green and leafy scent is quickly overpowered with the smell of soapy gin — probably because of the juniper note. How sad — I really enjoyed it and thought that I had found myself the ideal green and leafy fragrance. Now I’m nauseated by it unfortunately.

A fruity-green composition who evolve toward a soft magnolia the opening is intense with bitter galbanum and juicy black currant, very much like the beautiful Ombre Dans L'Eau from Diptyque. the evolution is softer and more inconsistent, it collapses in a home spray fragrance without contrast (more like Eau de Lierre) Ok anyway
