A total blind buy with next to no information anywhere on the internet about this fragrance or any others from this brand. Not sure of the RRP but I bagged a 100ml bottle for £12 and consider that a bargain. Confusingly, this was sold under the Emper brand although not listed under Emper on fragrantica. I'm aware that there's confusion regarding this house as La Chameau, Emper and Prive appear to originate from the same parfumiers. The bottle feels a bit cheap at first, with the plastic outer decoration on the bottle but the magnetic spray top is a nice touch. UAE seems to be the home of these fragrances and perhaps that explains a little about the notes in this fragrance as I feel it has a middle eastern vibe. It's not pungent as such, like some of the Ouds but it certainly packs a punch! It has a very strong citrus opening that's tempered by violet. I would say that this qualifies as 'beast mode' for the first two hours and the longevity is great also, lasting for 8hours+. I used 4-5 sprays first thing in the morning and went out on a windy day, and caught waves of it constantly. The scent transforms slightly over that period (I enjoy the midlife of this most and although my nose isn't that cultured, I do get the patchouli) until it fades out with a sweet skin scent dry down. Whilst this doesn't jump out from the bottle as immediate 'love at first sniff' it's an alluring scent that out performs many of the niche scents I own and has piqued my curiosity enough to want to sample other fragrances from this house. As stated, the whole range is very mysterious and it doesn't help that their website no longer works! With research I found these notes for the pyramid: Top Notes: Lemon, Grapefruit, Green Apple and Violet Leaf Middle Notes: Lavender, Rosemary, Anise, Sandalwood and Patchouli Base Notes: Tonka Bean, Oak moss, Amber and Musk

Total blind buy by my husband but, fortunately, not bad at all. It's kinda sexy, e little sweet, a little woody, a little spicy. I don't feel the citrusy notes too much. In the middle notes, I feel a smell of linden flowers, but this note is not listed so I suppose the combination of the other notes had this result for my nose. It's not a strong, killing smell, like many orientals, longevity is very good, it doesnt smell cheap. Actually I think it's better than many famous brands.

Le Chameau the company known for it’s boots partnered with Emper Perfumes to create a line of fragrances. You will find that the bottles are a little over done in plastic like all Emper fragrances. The whole line has that middle eastern vibe.
