Palmarola

Trust me, this is really good. I don't have much to say about this, however...it's literally citrus, jasmine and woods (and it's so pretty!). It's very realistic and very aromatic to my nose, yet so smooth... the drydown is also kind of sweetish. I didn't expect to like the sample so much, but here I am, loving it. The longevity and sillage are moderate on me.

Did not expect to like it so much... It comes across as a sunny warm day with the scent of lemon and jasmine in the air. It's a happy scent.

At first it's very sharp and aromatic but on my skin it quickly rests to a powdery note. The jasmine is the main player here. Very aromatic. Incredible projection. A fit for somebody who is mysterious, not at all for a romantic soul. Can be worn both during the day and on a night out. Works for both men and women. This is currently one of my favorite perfumes! Give it a try if you like floral but dislike sweet scents.

Very fresh, clean and floral, with clear citrus notes without being overbearingly citrusy at all. Jasmin is definitely the main player here, but it's well balanced against the citrus in a nice way. Enjoyable and unoffensive, albeit quite a bit on the soapy side.

As advertised, citrus, jasmin and woods. The citrus fades away quickly, then you are left with jasmin+wood. After apx 2 hours, it becomes pure woody. The jasmin isn't indolic, or sweet; the woods aren't too deep or forestry. I wished for a super floral, super fresh, good quality jasmin, but I was disappointed(at this price, it's a utopia!) Bottom line: a safe, "dry"(no sweetness here), woody-floral, which is 100% unisex, with an "alright" quality. Longevity is OK, projection is so-so. Unfortunately a pass.

This has a dominantly waxy quality on me (I think what people are describing as soapy), slightly dry and sour. It's not sweet at all, perfectly unisex.

Overpowering, very soapy. Sharp and dry. Can’t really smell the notes. Couldn’t even wash it off, it really sticks! Unwearable for me.

A convent in Palmarola! Palmarola is an abandoned rocky island in Italy and this perfume is a perfect match to this name. Cold and dark! Kurt Cobain would wear this before death! He can be a twin brother to De Profandis by Serge Lutens if she has a twin! As grieving as her, sad and lonely. Yes, these twins are odd but you can't ignore them since they have a lot of sad and eerie stories to tell. Sometimes I just want to wear them since they are the ones who can define me. Simply unisex and I love it.

This one has a very sour feel for me. The longevity and silage are good but that sharp sour note is unpleasant on my skin. Had to wash it off.
