Singuliere Theria

Light weighted iris with tender citrusy and spicy freshness from bergamot and cardamom as well as subtle sweetness from a honey-like narcissus. It’s powdery and musky, stays very close to the skin and doesn’t last long. But I think it’s a perfect “work from home” fragrance, when you need to smell fresh and clean just for yourself. This beautiful powdery iris. I agree this is iris from Dior Homme, but alone and going strong. It' fantastic, cozy, warm, making me feel happy. It would be perfect, if it would last longer than 2hours at best. Unisex.

Yet again, an excellent creation by Ellena. Iris-Narcissus combo that starts and stays clean and fresh. Not sure how he achieves that. It's a great note.

My fiancé blind bought Theria once it was released and decided it suited me better than him -we both like Le Couvent so a new offering was a must have. On him Theria got very floral and on me aromatic and spicy so I guess one's skin type determines where this one is going to go. What I'm getting is cardamom made dry and non-gourmand by iris under something spiky. I've been looking at scent pyramid and still can't decide what it excatly is. Bergamot? It must be bergamot since it's in the pyramid but I get no citrus even if my life depended on it. Warmth makes cardamom more prominent but it still stays out of gourmand genre and remains more herbal and unisex. Even clean. Theria could be a great warm weather perfume without any aquatic or beach vibes. Overall I like Theria. It may not be for every occasion, but it's wonderful how it warms up for those you let close enough to feel body heat and distant to those who should stay that way.

I have been looking for the perfect feminine iris scent, and this came SO CLOSE. As soon as it's sprayed this is the most incredible iris-based fragrance. It isn't wimpy, it isn't ethereal. It's warm and spicy, slightly powdery with the woody base present from the first sniff. The cardamom keeps it from becoming makeup-like, and it's just a genius introduction to the composition. THEN... as it dries it becomes just a nice masculine cologne, and the base just doesn't do it for me. In the attempt to make this scent unisex, I think Ellena missed the chance to make the best feminine iris-based scent ever made. It's still a very good fragrance. Just too "unisex".
