Mirsaal Valentine

Blind buy diaries # 9, wow just wow. Since I wasn't able to find Torino at an acceptable price in my locality, I went for this little beaut here, as the notes matched except for the addition of green apple. Had never heard of this scent or house for that matter. The name is Le Falcone' Mirsaal Valentine. So besides the horribly off putting name, this one is a very close clone to Torino with magnificent performance. The scent starts off with a divine green mix vibe of basil, thyme, green apple and mint, fresh and minty like splashing yourself with an "appletini". Lavender and rosemary take centerstage, with the Jasmine thankfully dialed down. The base smells creamy due to the musk note and the lavender. Sillage and longevity are both quite impressive. Le Falcone is surprise surprise, another relatively unknown UAE brand. It is quite pleasing that Middle Eastern house have finally upped their game by releasing clones of niche scents, rather than the usual shizmarole we used to get, such as misdirectional clones of BDC, Sauvage, Aventus, etc. The price on their website is higher than what clones usually are, but I was lucky enough to get a good deal from a wholesaler. PS this hasn't been hyped up, anywhere I've seen All seasonal scent? Works for all seasons, except winter IMO Unisex? A lean, green, masculine, machine. Blind buy worthy? If you were on the lookout for Torino, this here is quite an able alternative Performance? Longevity, around 7 to 8 hours, with good projection and sillage (expecting it to get better with maceration, as is with all ME Houses)

If Torino21 had a less cultured Uncle... this guy has both a linen summer suit & also a pair of very worn leather jeans in his wardrobe. I get all day wear out of this & I can still smell it the next morning. It's not sweet... it does have a strong oily citrus that dies down but never really goes away. It's quite kitchen herbal that reminds me of a very expensive spa. It's so green & snappy. I get a hint of jasmine in late mid & drydown, which is wonderful. I'm an older lady, but not afraid of traditional masculine fragrances & this one is an absolute sweat-busting summer banger for the price. It has that Torino21 vibe, but not a complete dupe. Maybe 85%. To me it has more muscle. It will scratch the itch without the Xerjoff price tag. One thing I do is spray the back of my knees with Mirsaal Valentine for the sillage & then spray my wrists & back of neck with T21. I have had several compliments from this fragrance. EDIT: Four days later... that bitter oily & overly strong herb has quieted down. I'm getting 12 hours *easy* out of it. LESS IS MORE!😸 Three sprays is my sweet spot. The drydown is where this purrs... at about the 5 hour mark. I had four compliments on it today.

I'm quite shocked honestly to get this kind of quality for half of the price. I have T21 and this is 95% the same, but with a less prone harsh mint note i get from T21. This is actually smoother, a bit muskier and jasmine is what mint is in T21. It still has that invigorating fizzy freshness, bright, uplifting, instant mood booster for hot summer days, and longevity is absolutely not an issue. I get at least 10h out of this, even after a shower i can sense it and it has exactly the same T21 drydown. It projects strong for first 1-2 hours, then drops down for the next 2-3 hours, and after that it becomes more intimate but with a good scent trail, it lingers around you a long time. A definitive summer bomb, i might get a few more bottles because it is quite hard to get outside of US and SEA. I cannot compare it to Platine Blanc, but it's a great inspiration (and in my case direct replacement) for T21, i love it, several of my coworkers love it, it is not offensive but sillage trail is quite big. Presentation: 9/10 Scent: 9.5/10 Compliment factor: 9/10 Longevity: 9/10 Price: seriously? 11/10

Loved it from the first spray but was recommended to let it sit for a while so will have to come back to update. First impression: bright, cool, minty, zingy lemon juice with basil mixed in, softness from lavender in the background, for some reason reminds of iced tea sometimes I smell it. Packaging and bottle feel extravagant for the price and atomizer is satisfying too, so far feels too good to be this solid of a fragrance. Update: after a month the opening got much smoother, drydown is fresh minty citrus with slight dense blackcurrant fruityness, a bit herbal, bitter and slightly sour like a lemon peel, basil completes it imo. Well worth the price, feels easy to wear. Projection moderate the first 1-2 hours then stays as a scent bubble arms length around you, longetivity about 6-8 hours. Sprayed it before gym and ~3 hours later the scent was mild, went with about 4 sprays. If you're not planning to sweat a lot then that should be enough. Slightly masculine leaning but women can easily wear this, a very decent and refreshing warm weather scent.

SHOUT-OUT TO MISTY MOUNTAIN DECANTS FOR MY SAMPLE. Smells very very similar to Hawas Verde which obviously is a clone of Torino 21. Honestly if you put them next to each other you couldn't tell them apart except in my opinion this is better with superior projection and the difference is so subtle it's not even worth mentioning. However as mentioned this projects louder in my opinion as I have tested them both and the quality is exceptional. I personally don't get this incredibly harsh opening that others are speaking of and for me it was actually smooth right off the get-go. I personally don't see a reason to purchase real Torino 21 given the quality of this house and Rasasi. I have smelled torino 21 on paper before but on skin these ME both smell identical to each other. One surprising find is I tested this on clothing and it actually smelled the exact same on skin as well as clothing and the projection was still very good. Between the two ME brands, hands down this one is the better choice.

How can you hate this ? this is so good and refreshing and performance is pretty good for such a profile It smells great right of the bat for me. I have a decant of torino 21, ill make a comparison and update later. Dont know what dude below talks about saying "can hardly be worn in the hot summer morning", this perfume is so refreshing and vibrant i think it fits the summer perfectly. Overall really good stuff, highly recommend. After some comparison, in short it feels in the air I bet they are very close to indistinguishable, but up close you can feel that Torino 21 is smoother, valentine is has more lemon and the mid florals like rosemary pop up a bit more in Torino 21 They are close but from up close to can feel how the ratios of the notes are different It feels like valentine leans more into the top notes while Torino has a more dominant mid in terms of note ratios But so far it seems like valentine has good performance

I see some people talking about this and that. I’ll be 100% honest, I’ve owned Torino21, resold it because the mint and green vibes were too astringent in the dry down for me, but since then I’ve tested every single dupe side by side with it, and I can say now that I prefer mirsal valentine and platine blanc over torino21, they are both super strong for freshies, and the way they blended them are sexier to me, I would say Valentine is more similar to ADP buongiorno, which is very similar to torino21 as well but sweeter and a better base, Valentine is more similar to that one. Who cares which company does what, just base your opinions off of what you smell, and this is incredibly good. Got mine for $45cad which is a steal.

Absolutely amazing Torino21 clone. I love Platine Blanc as it's a Torino21 clone with a musky twist, but Mirsaal Valentine Le Falconé Perfumes smells literally like Torino21 from start to finish, and it's amazing because it's price is but a fraction of Xerjoff Torino21 "premium" price. I might even say I like it more than Torino21 because it's less "sparkly", the scent is still very prominent, but it's not as intrusive as Torino's, it is way smoother. Performance-wise it's really good; it performs as well as Torino21, which stays for a long time for a freshie. If you like mojito/fruity green vibes, it's a no-brainer! For it's price tag? An absolute no-brainer!!

I bought this last summer & it was great then. It macerated all Winter & now it's the bomb. This T21 clone is better, IMHO. Yes, it's primarily known as a masculine fragrance, but I disagree. It opens up bright & fresh. The jasmine in the mids stays in the background til about three hours in, then it comes a bit forward & then I think it leans a bit more feminine in the drydown. I love it. This DNA & Vibrato are the best summer humidity killers in my collection.

This stuff is STRONG. I'm really impressed with the quality of Le Falcone's stuff. You really only need a couple sprays, and it seems to project for hours. This is a nice herbal citrus. I don't usually go for this type but I wanted to try one out this summer. I like it! It's really not my style but it's nice for a change of scenery.

Just get it! F’n phenomenal! One of the rare ones that after my first wear, I immediately ordered backup bottles. Yes, I’m getting a lot of Torino 21 here but I’ve been reaching for this one far more often due to the better performance and of course the value compared to T21. My biggest compliment getter!

This is the first time i bought something like this with herbs in it. You can really smell them beneath the citrus in the opening. Im Amazed how nice this appeared to be really nice. Longevity and projection are very good for a freshie with herbs. 8.5/10

@BlindBuyGambler, sounds like your bottle might’ve caught too much sun, or maybe it’s your skin chemistry. But honestly, this scent is amazing, fresh, minty, effortless. You can spray as much as you want and it still feels smooth, like a crisp mojito.

Just like the guy beneath i never tried Citrusy herbal fragrances but this is a really good frag. Smells fresh clean and elegant. The herbs are very well blended and soft. Blind buy safe and very good Longevity and projection to be tested 8/10

it smells identical to torino21, the sillage is very strong I keep getting whiffs of it on myself and it lasted an entire day at the office. It smells so addicting and fresh

It's like that Dentyne Blue chewing gum, but sweeter. That apple is a difference maker. Dry down gets progressively greener. Wish the performance was better, tho.

I just bought this fragrance 1 hour ago from a store here in Singapore. I'm a woman, I LOVE THE SCENT, and I would wear it to the gym. 5/5 Spectacular blend!

Smell goooood! I have a sample of T21 and I would say 90-95% similar plus this has a great sillage. Wore it once and got several compliments.

Amazing so far, further testing is needed but this makes me want to larp being a rich dude with yacht.

At first I wasn't sure about it, but then it grew on me and I think it's incredible fragrance.

Xerjoff Torino21 with the twist of Blackcurrant, best summer fragrance I've ever smelled.

it's nice but I prefer Platine blanc, fresher and smoother. Valentine is sweeter and the quality is less than Platine Blanc. PB is much better trust me, i got 10ml decant of PB and used up all of it in a short time, it has became my signature scent. I was avoiding buying full bottle of PB because its very expensive and a clone, but after getting mirsaal valentine, I decided to buy full bottle of PB, worth it IMO

Just purchased from Amazon. Product box arrived with stains/scent from a leaking bottle (may not have been mine but another) but Amazon refunded without any further questions which is great customer service. As for the scent, it's mint heavy and I sense very little citrus but maybe it will get better with time. For ~$30 though, can't expect too much.

Fell for the hype. Harsh opening, not well blended and unpleasant sour-sweet dry down. Can hardly be worn in the hot summer morning. I had a 5ml sample of T21 it was not very smooth either but it lacked the unpleasant sour-sweet dry down in this one.

Sprayed this on one arm and T21 on the other. Initially both smell great. But as time went on T21 is sooo much smoother. MV is a bit harsh compared. It’s a good replacement for T21 if you can’t afford it but no where near as well done as T21

Saw a curly video and she hyped it up to be a good summer fragrance, saw other videos glazing torino21, put 2 and 2 together and you get a informed purchase. Sadly though its smells bad, this has sit for about 4 weeks, and still smells like body odor. Like a sour BO with mint on top. I don't know if its my skin chemistry but I spray on my wrist, after i wash and dry it, tested it several times while it was macerating, and same result. In the air its not bad but for some reason on my skin, its shit. I will let it sit for another month or 2 and if it really doesn't get better, im finna toss it cuz i cant risk gifting this to a friend. What's crazy is the fragrantica comments all say its good and the score is near perfect, so either i got a bad bottle or something is up here. If it gets better, ill eat my words and update this review.

Short and sweet. When first spraying you get this kinda fizzy green apple accord that torino 21 doesn't have. While torino 21 is basil and lemon dominant instead here we have the basil elevating the apple and carrying it through which I was really hoping that would be reversed. It's definitely a well done cologne. It's a more I would say youthful torino 21 vs a more mature/sophisticated original. Except for the fizzy apple opening it becomes very linear after about 40 minutes. I mean torino 21 is somewhat linear as well but transitions in stages throughout the drydown till you get a very prominent basil skin scent. Mirsaall is a banger and well worth the money but didn't trump torino 21 obviously but can be seen as a banger of a flanker. Is it better than plantine? Same quality different approaches. Plantine is closer to original but mirsaal surprised me with its fizzy apple opening and I'm digging it. Also compared to plantine projection wise I think mirsaal is better which kinda surprised me. And dare I say I think the projection might even be better than the original.

I have 4 Torino21 dupes: 1. Aromatix - Platine Blanc. Differences is PB has natural photorealistic mint and fizziness from tonic water. The lemon opening is not sharp or harsh. Drydown with musky soft wet woody nuance. 2. Velixir - Demeter. My fav dupes so far. Everything is well balance from the opening till drydown. Strong projection and sillage for 2 to 3 hours. The drydown similar to PB. 3. Hawas Verde. Not the closest but unique dupes as it has strong green apple in the opening till midway. Its like you layered T21 with Greenley. 4. Le Falcone Valentine. The newest I get. The strong blackcurrant notes makes it the fruitiest T21 dupes. The opening is very harsh and sharp, maybe need to macerate for a while. The drydown is what I like the most where lemon verbena maintain its lemony fresh for hours on cloth.

Its nice it does kinda remind me of head and shoulders but just a little bit i do prefer it to the original the original while does have quality but bit to green and herbal to me this is more fresh a solid 8.5

A true lemon bomb. Smells as good as Imagination or Imagination dupes. Fantastic. The drydown avoids the usual bottom tier notes which is refreshing.

What a great fragrance. At first I hated it, in fact was about to sell it, gave it another try, and fell in love with it. Great relaxing vibe.

The best smelling citrus unisex fragrance. It avoids the notes of vanilla, tonka bean, amber, and leather. Love it.

Absolutely fantastic citrus fragrance with a hint of mint and fruits.
