Risala Forever

Leans a little feminine, but not so exclusively that it can't be unisex. The packaging and bottle were beautiful and looks/feels expensive. I bought it for $79, but it's now on sale for $39 on Private Blends. It is quite sweet, but for me, it isn't overpowering, and it lasts a long time. I've let it macerate for a while, and I'm excited for full maturity; definitely improvement so far. But even straight out of delivery, it smelled yum. It's buttery, sugary, gourmand, and caramelised vanilla. I get the tonka in the dry down, but I don't really smell the other notes too strongly (e.g. the pineapple, for example). The next time that I buy this, I will definitely wait for the sales, as that's 40 bucks I could've spent elsewhere.

Oh, Okay! you have to try this one, it’s gorgeous! At first, it’s a little sweet, but then it melts into this warm mix of soft florals, creamy vanilla, and a smooth musk that just feels so luxurious. It’s the kind of scent that makes you feel confident, elegant, and just a little bit flirty, there’s definitely a touch of playful seduction in there. Honestly, it’s sexy in a really classy way. Plus, it lasts forever on my skin, I easily get a good 9-10 hours out of it. You’ll fall in love with it.

Long story short I will get a back up bottle of this like I did for Falak. If it’s a beautiful gourmand scent, addicting and sexy I want it. And this, this ticks all the boxes and then some

This smells so good it’s like a Cocount butter cream cake with some cookie pieces omg it’s delicious yet so sexy and wearable nothing like Bianco Latte it’s totally different

I love, I mean love this! It’s great for fall and winter!!!!! I don’t know if I can pull it off in warmer weather but tbh is is a love for me in the cooler months ❤️

This smells so much like Nota Sugar. It is really nice but I think we are missing some major notes above.

Okay, this fragrance is amazing!! But.... Fragrantica has the wrong notes listed!! The actual notes for this fragrance are: Top notes: Pineapple, Caramel and Coconut Middle notes: Vanilla, Raspberry and Almond Base notes: Tonka Bean, Musk and Heliotrope On first spray...nuclear creamy fruit!!! After about 15-20 minutes I'm getting a fruity-boozy tone to the scent. I don't think this has rum or any alcohol note in it, but that's what I'm picking up in the mids. And omg the drydown....THE DRYDOWN....WOW!!! This fragrance dries down to a strong skin-scent bubble of creamy vanilla, light florals and soft wood. I didn't think that the drydown would be anything special...but it is E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G!! This fragrance dries down to a unisex perfection, with enough florals and wood with vanilla and musk to make it the perfect balance of everything. The crazy thing is that it lasted on my skin for over 12 hours! Through sweat, showering, sleeping and into the next day! One spray....12+ hours....Insanity!!! This is powerful stuff! Right up there with "Bharara - King" and "Mancera - Red Tobacco". Seriously, one spray of this lit up the whole top floor of the house!!! The pineapple in this...it's amazing...and there's a soft waxiness in the background...like soapiness or lotion or something. With performance like this, I HAVE TO own it!!!! You don't often find fragrances for this price at THIS level of performance that smell THIS GOOD these days!! UPDATE: Okay, the wife and I wore it for Easter service today. I noticed people standing closer and I completely didn't account for the fragrance...thinking it was just lack of personal boundaries. When we got to the car, the wife told me that she got back-to-back compliments on her perfume from friends, strangers and children and she was demanding the bottle of perfume! Needless to say, the original bottle is hers and I have a bottle on order due to arrive next week, lol.

I’m not a TikTok influencer (I don’t even have an account) and I’m definitely no AI either (real in flesh and blood). When I first unboxed Risala Forever, just half a spray greeted me with a bold, spicy gourmand vibe - quite different from the typical sweet caramel-vanilla fragrances. To my nose, it leans very unisex after the initial few minutes. I don’t pick up dominant burnt sugar, coconut or cookie notes throughout the composition. Instead, it feels well-blended and refined, without veering into a full-on foodie gourmand. It has a perfumery quality that makes it ideal for cooler weather. The spicy ginger and cinnamon quickly blends with the overall composition after a few minutes, leaving a beautiful ginger biscuit dough kinda scent. NOTE: Ginger is quite prominent throughout the dry down, so if you're not into strong ginger accords, you may find this a little bit disturbing to your nostrils. Considering its affordable price and impressive box presentation, this is a solid addition to any collection, especially if you’re looking for a unisex gourmand fragrance.

I'd describe this as Vanilla Voyage but with less licorice, add coconut, and leaning more on the spicier side because of the ginger. To my nose all I get is ginger and also the coconut. It is VERY strong, super beast mode, but it is very sharp. I do not get buttercream either.

Unique sweet scent with minty facets. Syrupy, buttery, thick & lactonic scent with a hint of slightly toasted sugar. Sophisticated gourmand. Somewhat cloying and synthetic. Very good sillage and longitivity. Not sure how to feel about this.

Caramel, pineapple and vanilla. Similar to Nota Sugar, very similar, but I was much more excited about that one. I have decants of both, will have to compare side by side.

I have been waiting for some oxidation to happen before reviewing this scent, because at the very beginning I could barely smell it, as faint as it was. The intensity grew day by day, and I am pretty sure I did not buy a fake, but there is not a single note detected, which matches what Le Falconé (and, of course, Fragrantica), declared as the official ones of this perfume. To be honest, all I could smell the first week was pinapple flavoured gummy bears with a yoghurt background and some powdered coconut. Now, after some time, I definitely pick up the notes of caramelized pinapple upside-down cake, with some milky caramel base and sprinkled coconut flakes. And yes: it is absolutely inspired by Nota Sugar. Do I like it? I do, and I also find it not cloying on my skin. I received quite some compliments wearing this perfume, while I was barely able to smell it on myself, but I really think I got anosmic to it, because everybody else smells it and says that I leave a nice, fruity scent trail. Nonetheless, if you have Risala Forever on your wishlist for the cookie dough, or because you love Bianco Latte, Cream Velvet, Escapade Gourmande, Vanilla Voyage and the likes, be aware that this scent does NOT belong to that family: it's a FRUITY, sugary, airy gourmand. 7/10 for the scent. 10/10 for bottle and presentation 1/10 for declaring notes which absolutely do not match the scent.

I’m puzzled. The opening smells like strawberry yogurt, which I strangely like, but the drydown turns into a strong bubblegum scent. It’s a good performer, but I don’t like smelling like bubblegum. So, on its own it’s a no - but I did find a nice combo by mixing it with its sister, Risala For You. In any case, I’ll let it mature and revisit it on its own. I hope it works for me then.

Currently on test. Its buttery and sweet but its giving me a synthetic banana scent that reminds me of Banana bliss. Not getting a full bottle. Rating this a 2/5

This dry down isn't great. I don't know of it is an animalic musk or the coconut gets woody, but it spoils the experience for me.

Firstly I’d like to note the handfuls of accounts with obvious AI pictures praising this and another Middle Eastern fragrance house. Take a look through their freshly opened accounts for yourselves, this site is becoming increasingly unreliable it seems. 💔 Anyway, the anticipation my partner and I had built for this perfume; god this month has been back to back disappointment. Miss ‘Risala Forever’ is odd. With notes of butter, syrup, and maple, I had this ultra gourmand breakfast-type of experience in mind, and this is nothing of the sort... AT ALL. I wish I was having the sensory experience others are encountering. I’d simply blame my nose, but even my partner agrees this isn’t good. The blending of the composition is just plain weird. The Ginger taints the DNA in a bad way, I’d love to try this blended without the misplaced Ginger. This smells like JHAG ‘Miami Shake’ without the Strawberry; That too is another faux gourmand mess. Someone below mentioned they smell florals here and I concur even though theres none listed in the notes. ‘Miami Shake’ also has that same unlisted floral note hidden in a gourmand perfume issue, and I think thats why they’re so similar to my nose. This fragrance marks the beginning of my discerning era. I don’t return anything ever, but Miss Risala may take a trip back to where she came from if she don't get her act together by the end of the week. 😕

This unfortunately does not work for me. Yes the vanilla is very warm and ambery with the spiciness from the ginger. But there is a very green note that my nose keeps picking up (which I suspect is from the coconut) and it's ruining the experience. There is also that burnt rubber/plasticky smell that I often get from perfumes that have caramel, the maple though is prominent in the dry down which is nice and sweet. I'm glad I did a decant first. Never blind buy these days even if it's cheap.

Not for me. Leans unisex to me. I am not a fan or the lactonic and woody components together. Seems like it doesn't know if it's going to be a sweet gourmand but at the last minute decided it was going to be a masculine leaning old spice.

This was a miss for me. I dont smell the indicated notes with this fregrance. Smelled sickly sweet. Like a creamy raspberry scent.

I really wanted to like this, I bought it because of Daniel Renee's excellent review of it but to me it is offensive. I actually recoil from it. It kind of smells like sweet vomit to me like someone just threw up a candy bar. I'm going to give it 6 months to macerate and then I'm going to try it again. But for me right now this is unwearable.
