i was sooo excited to try this, and i'm not disappointed at all! for context, i blind bought devotion by d&g and loved it, but it didn't project at all and lasted all of abt 15 minutes even with a full routine of moisturizing and layering :/ i sprayed this on my skin as soon as it arrived, no moisturizer, oil or anything like that. the opening is IDENTICAL to devotion to me! of course, the rest of the story isn't an exact replica, but it's VERY similar and absolutely gorgeous on its own, maybe even better? and for the price, it's genuinely incomparable. the base of devotion is more gourmand, yummy, and addictive to me personally, and shouq hides the rummy note in the base, which tricked my inexperienced nose into thinking it had a more chemically smell at first, but i grew to loveeeee it 😩 it's definitely a bit more citrus heavy than devotion too, especially in the beginning! it's versatile, delicious, and i can still smell it 9 hours later. i'm in love 💛💛💛

This does smell like D&G Devotion! The lemon is more prominent once it’s sat for a while. On first spray I was underwhelmed, but after resting in a dark box for a month it’s getting much better. Hopefully by spring it will be ready! 😁 I have been so impressed by the dupes from UAE. I love Devotion but it only lasts an hour on me, if I’m lucky. But that kind of performance does not warrant the price tag. I now have Victoria, Desirable Addiction, Shahoor Elixir, Symbol of Love (Orange instead of lemon), and this one). They are all wonderful! This was the most expensive (£37 off Amazon) so I probably won’t repurchase, purely because the others are as good but for less money! Desirable Addiction was only £12 from Emirates Oud! 🥰

This was a blind buy and a successful one! Compared to Devotion - which I love only when I spray over Choco Musk Oil - (btw this layering combo smells much better as I find helps reduce the floral note) - this is 99% similar however less orange blossom/floral and more creamy edible lemon. Think of when you mix lemon zest with sugar when making a lemon loaf cake. There is a fuzzy, skin like note I can feel in the dry down. I will let this sit and macerate for a few weeks.

The bottle alone is a little piece of art. Heavy, detailed, and elegant. It feels like something you’d proudly display on your vanity. The scent instantly reminded me of Devotion by Dolce & Gabbana. If you’ve been eyeing that one but want a more affordable option — this is such a good match. It opens fresh and bright, then gets soft and cozy with time. Feminine, easy to wear, and definitely a compliment-getter.

In my opinion this fragrance is the best Devotion interpretation that I have ever tried. I have both an I will no longer buy Devotion since I found Shouq. Performance is also very good, around 8/9 hours on my skin.

To me this is even better than the OG. The sweet creaminess from the panna cotta is just so delicious. Absolutely love it. Also love the bottle and packaging. Not to mention the price.

Strongly reminiscent of lemon curd or meringue pie with just a twinge of florals to keep it from smelling too photorealistic. Very citrus-forward in the opening, and then becomes sweeter as it dries down but the lemon remains throughout wear and thankfully never ventures into cleaning product territory. So far I’m not detecting a rum note but my bottle is fairly new so that may come out as the fragrance develops. Overall a really nice choice for those who enjoy bright, dessert-like gourmands. Good longevity and decent projection. I think I’ll appreciate this one more in the spring and summer months but it’s substantial enough to hold its own during cold weather as well. The packaging is unique and rather special - coming from someone who loves kitties 🐱 I will be keeping the bottle and box even after I’ve used up the fragrance.

I just got this delivered yesterday. I completely understand Arabic fragrances MUST be macerated for them to be at their very best, but of course, I sprayed this to not only smell it, but to help prepare it for its maceration/maturation process. It is VERY light, and I can tell it is no way near ready for prime time, but I definitely think this is going to be really good!! There is the lemon, light and breezy, intermingled with the lactonic pannacotta and sugar. The sugar does not make this sickly sweet and heavy; in fact, the sugar helps to lift the lemon that would otherwise be smothered by the pannacotta note. This fragrance has a limited number of notes, and I love that! Top notes- Lemon and sugared citrus Mid notes - Pannacotta ( lactonic and sweet ), Orange blossom, and Rum Bottom notes- Vanilla This is going to be so good in a month or so!!!!

This is pleasant, but extremely light. It just gives me a vague scent of sweet lemon. I can see myself reaching for it on hot days.

FYI this IS NOT a bot or paid review! This stuff is amazing. I just got it today and will update after it sits a while, but out of the gate I already like it better than the OG. Getting more of the panacotta and lemon with none of the funky rum bitterness Victoria pulls on my chemistry. I love a rum note (Clandestine Clara is my favorite) and I also greatly love Lattafa, but their rum accord doesn’t work on me. It ruins Victoria and Petra as well. This perfume projects and smells better than my OG Devotion and I hope it will continue to develop its gourmand side to perfection as it matures! Best buy of 2025 (after Gaultier 2). If you love D don’t hesitate—they layer well together and it helps D last longer and project.

The lemon note in this fragrance isn't strong enough or tart enough to reach the level to smell like lemon meringue pie. The scent is more vanilla, sugary, and slightly buttery. To me, this is more of a lemon cake/cupcake with lemon icing instead of lemon pie. It's almost identical to Zara A Sweet Pastry in Paris that was released before DG Devotion but Zara smells even more buttery like a lemon pound cake.

I love this lemon meringue scent profile and the presentation with the box is gorgeous. I bought a back-up box just in case it gets discontinued. I don't think it's beast mode or that strong, I would give it moderate longevity and moderate projection contrary to the rating here.

It smells awesome. Beautiful feminine fragrance with stronge lemon and vanilla notes. I completely love how it's sweet and sensual but really fresh at the same time, thanks to the citrus and orange blossom.

Si tienes victoria de lataffa o está entre los dos no lo compres es muy similar en mi opinión noe arrepiento tengo los dos se diferencian en qué este es más ácido y el otro más dulce pero es delicioso.
