Meluzyna

It starts with Bum! overwhelming smell of camphor and fir, like sea air just before the storm. After few minutes storm begins, it comes with sea notes, salt, seaweed, pepper and earthy notes of wet ground. The sea is rough, waves are high, brings a lot of interesting animal notes of sea creatures and something hard to name of. So you want to dive into this ocean of smells and discover your imagination. Very intriguing and addictive fragrance. Love it! ❤️

A stroll through an industrial harbour. Restoration work on a wooden ship, waves brought to a halt by seaweed-clad piers, fishing boats about to leave in a cloud of exhaust fumes, speeding forklifts. So far only sampled during a hot and dry summers day, applied over castor oil

Oooh it's gorgeous, smell like a honeyed ham in a barbecue. Very smoky and animalic but very well balanced. Love

Dried sea salt on skin. Apparently, this was supposed to be a mermaid scent according to the story. But I think it would suit a Siren much better. A truly full-bodied, unmistakably ambergris-marine fragrance! With its seaweed, with its salt... I was born in the heart of the Mediterranean, raised in the Aegean... This scent is a blessing for me! Because it’s so realistic and unique... The opening hits you in the face with a bold, aromatic pepperiness and a rather stomach-churning green note. It’s almost like the smell of peat soil rather than the sea. But then it gradually settles down and the scent returns to its essence, revealing itself in the heart notes with a smoky undertone; though the seaweed and salt are always there. This is the scent of a rocky sea, where mountains descend steeply into the water, and the salty sea breeze mingles with the winds blowing between the mountain passes. Then the weather cools down, and the salty Aegean turns from a deep grayish blue into a dark black. Let’s quote Circe here for the dry-down: “lolling there in their meadow, round them heaps of corpses rotting away, rags of skin shriveling on their bones.” I think this might end up being my favourite from the house. 7 months later: After trying Meluzyna, I can’t seem to enjoy any other marine scents anymore. Mix Calaj's T Shelby with Zoologist Squid and you get this. A garden shed on a Scottish island, stowing a lawnmower still caked in grass from the summer, only now it is winter and its decomposing and turning to soil. You open the shed door and you're hit with the nearby fresh salty air.
