Ferveur

It’s a house party in the early 80s. The guests have left, leaving traces of their heavy scents in the air. (How did so many people fit into this cramped Lower East Side apartment?) You finally get to sit down and do that weary post-mortem: who came with whom, who left with whom, who got a little too drunk or high... You kick off your shoes and put on a record – something to quietly cap off the night, like Billie Holliday or Miles. You notice the sky is starting to lighten, but you’re not ready to go to bed yet. That’s what Ferveur smells like, and I love it.

The smell of my beloved leather jacket the day after going to a club sometime in the 80s, when everyone smoked like there was no tomorrow and wore heavy oriental scents like Shalimar, Opium and JHL. Perfume turned hedonism, or in other words - Ferveur! (fervour in English) Love it!

Absolutely stunning bitter herbs mixed with quite balsamic and sweet base. It’s very niche and might be somewhat challenging to wear, but it’s still very beautiful and rich fragrance. My ig: scent.guide

Indeed, like a night out in the glorious heydays of disco fever. One is dressed in a tuxedo, a Halston gown or a leather jacket. A rich opulent contemporary oriental with resins, smoke, spices, florals and a vintage dirty animalic powdery trail somewhere between Opium, Shalimar and Chanel's Le Lion. It follows perfectly the Le Galion history. And the new bottles by Jules Dinand and his grand father, legendary Pierre Dinand are just great.
