Fruit du Dragon

Haribo original gummy BEARS, in your face. Like when you open up a new bag. Yum! Then, warms up to my favorite, a Mango Dragonfruit refresher from Starbucks, with water. But, make it BOOZY, with a splash of Absolute Raspberri VODKA. Chefs kiss. It settles into a creamy, boozy, venti Mango Dragonfruit you accidentally spilled on your jeans and you're now walking around smelling like a delicious refresher, with gummy bears and vodka. That you obviously don't care about because at least you smell amazing. LOL If you have LAIT DE COCO...You have to try them together! It smells just like the Dragon drink. More sophisticated of course. That's the one with coconut milk. It's cozy and great for big teddy bear hugs. I love layering with other perfumes, smells better during cold weather. I have several full bottles from Le Monde Gourmand. This being one of them. It doesn't last forever but then again neither do hugs. BISOUS

LOL the negative reviews on something as simple as this. I wasn’t expecting that. This is a very literal dragonfruit, and although I’m not a fan of fruity perfumes, this one’s actually delicious. The only time I got the Haribo gummy bears smell is in the dry down, like an hour after first spray. So yeah, gummy candy, but not right away. Otherwise, this is a super delicious dragonfruit/currant scent that’ll be fantastic for summer or right after a shower. It’s also surprisingly long lasting with good projection for a fruity perfume. Worth a buy for $12.99 at TJMaxx!

This one is perfect for summer! It is a great dragon fruit scent, just like a sweet dragon fruit smoothie. Though it is sweet it’s also a little tangy, and on the drydown to me it smells musky but sweet, similar to 11/11. It smells like a bright sunny morning and you got a haircut and a dragon fruit smoothie. But also like a fun cocktail and karaoke summer night. I got a compliment from a girl when i wore this out This is A 10/10 especially for the price. (Tip: layer this with a citrusy scent, i layered it with Citron fig and it was beautiful)

I don’t get the negativity around this. It’s so yummy! Very sweet and fruity with a strong tropical punch scent. More fruity than floral, but a really pretty blend. Smells like Hawaiian Punch with a hint of purple candy. Slightly more juvenile because of the level of sweetness, but a fun summer scent

Given the mixed reviews, I had no idea what to expect from this. But I'm glad to to say I love this! When I smell this, I picture a bowl of dragonfruit & blackcurrant flavored candy!

At first it smells like you spilled Sunny-D on you in a deliciously sweet way (minus the stickiness) but the dry-down smells like VS Bombshell on me and I love it.

VERY SWEET SMELLING PERFUME! BUT IN A YUMMY YUMMY WAY! Also a very feminine, fruity perfume for summer.

This really surpassed my expectations. It actually does have light, sweet, dragonfruit! It is not just straight dragonfruit, though - there are definitely other tart fruit punch notes (passionfruit) in here. If you want to know what it really smells like, it smells EXACTLY like the Dragon Drink or the Mango Dragonfruit Drink (can't remember which one) from Starbucks. I mean, it looks exactly like it, too - just missing the frozen dragonfruit chunks. I'm leaning towards it smelling more like the Mango Dragonfruit drink because there is nothing creamy in here (the other drink has milk) and it definitely does have extra fruitiness, if not specifically mango. Dragonfruit on its own does not have a strong scent or taste - it's a light, refreshing fruit even though it has strong color. Fruit du Dragon is super refreshing for summer and surprisingly strong with decent lasting power for what it is. I got the discovery set for this collection and I'm so excited to try the rest during this hot summer. The only downside to this perfume is that it makes me crave that dragonfruit drink so badly every time I wear it!

I was pleasantly surprised by this fragrance! I got this in a sample set of seven from Le Monde Gourmand. I didn't think I would like it as I'm not a huge dragon fruit fan. However, I really enjoy this scent. I don't quite get gummy bears/worms or candy as others have suggested. It is missing the distinct sugar note to me. This is a delicious fruity fragrance though! I feel like biting into my wrist whenever I smell it. The only downside is that it doesn't last very long. I got about 3-4 hours worth of wear before it became a very, very subtle scent that I could only smell by bringing my wrist to my nose. (Granted I am an undersprayer, so it may do a bit better with more sprays. I only sprayed both wrists.) It is juicy and fruity and delightful. I'd imagine this would be great to layer with other fragrances too. I'm so sad this was discontinued! I'm hoping I can find a full size in Marshalls or TJMaxx....or that they bring it back. If you have this and want to get rid of it, hit me up.

Got this one off of a 7-pack of 7ml sprays at Winners Canada for $20CAD - if you find it, I think it's worth it to pick up that set. Definitely better for layering as it is a bit one-note, but I happen to like super sweet and fruity scents (I do get the dragonfruit + a bit of something else - probably the blackcurrant though I'm a bit of a beginner at perfumes so I can't tell). I find this lasts slightly longer than the other Le Monde Gourmand scents (2-3 hours instead of maybe 30 minutes that I get with Citron Glacé) but still quite intimate in terms of sillage. Overall, worth it if you can get it cheap and enjoy a sweet and fruity scent for layering. I think there's actually potential with layering to get something more mature using this scent's brightness, but I haven't found that combo yet.

I wouldn't have come to this conclusion myself, but I gotta agree with @spaceybailey on this one, regarding how it smells like Haribo gummi bears. I knew it smelled familiar but couldn't quite put my finger on it. Also, at first spray it also kind of reminds me of apple juice, then I think the dragon fruit comes in to make it a little more interesting. I think it's a safe buy, if you like light fruit type scents. No crazy curveballs here.

I won't lie, the longevity isn't that great. Started disappearing very fast (maybe cuz it's July and I'm in SoCal...) buuuut this reminded me of a dragon fruit tea my sis got back when I lived in Oahu, and it made me nostalgic. The scent itself is juicy and fruity, not too sweet. This would be fun to layer with a tea scent or another red juicy fruit.

Gummy worms in a bottle! I need to stock up on these, because these little 1oz bottles will not last the way I’m going to douse myself in this juicy fruity candy goodness! performance is weak af, but idc. This is so yummy, I want one with me at all times for a quick pick me up.

My partner got this for me on a whim after we both smelled it at Marshalls and liked it. To me it's something like fruit punch, or a generic sweet tropical mix. Simple, one-note, but it seems like it'll be good for layering when summer rolls around.

I really like this perfume! It smells like a dragonfruit refresher and is great for the summer. I get some strange whiffs that I can't describe, so that's the only downside for me. If you wanna smell like a straight up dragonfruit then go for it

I’m not usually a fruity gal, but I love this scent! It’s probably the most fruity thing I’ve ever smelled, very sweet, but not so much it gives me a headache. Perfect for spring or summer! Very playful, youthful, and sweet.

Juicy, tropical berry fruit snacks.

I know only passion flower is listed in the notes, but this is a very affordable, passion fruit forward fragrance. Recommend for those who love passion fruit notes. If you dislike the note (like myself, I barely tolerate it), you may dislike this. Not to say this isn't a good fragrance. I expected to despise it and I don't. It's just not my preferred fragrance profile. But I would definitely recommend to others who like fruity and passion fruit notes in fragrance.

This smells like that dragon fruit drink Starbucks has. Maybe I’m only saying this because I’ve never actually had dragon fruit myself. But it is juicy, and strong while it lasts, which is not a long time. Incredibly fruity. Like sticking your nose in the flesh of a berry and stone fruit salad.

Pretty colour and bottle. Smells like sweet fruit and then on the dry down, a little bit cough syrupy. Then them smell just basically evaporates after 2 hours and there is barely a light musk as it fizzles out. It's a fun fragrance and basically what I expected.

One of the better AO perfumes out there in terms of longevity. It's very sweet, juicy smelling. I don't really get the dragon fruit; it smells more like lichee to me. This smells exactly like lichee jelly tea plus currants. I think might do well in layering.

Upon initial spray, I get a sweet scent with something like rotten fruit underneath. Luckily the rotten smell disappears after 5-10 minutes and I’m left with a bright, candied fruit punch scent. Great for layering to add sweetness to a summer scent.

I liked it at first - thought it was fruity and juicy and fun in a boisterous middle schooler type of way. Then someone said it smelled like cat piss and I couldn't get that out of my head :')

Smells like dragonfruit... Other than that nothing exciting. It's a mild sweet perfume with a little bit of tang. It doesn't last very long. Just wasn't for me.

smells like purple candy for five minutes (and it smells really good) but then , it smells like some cats peed on your delicious purple candy.

This almost made me gag. I smelled the projection after I first sprayed it and it was a bright and fresh citrus, but when I brought my hand up to my nose once it dried, I got a huge whiff of bathroom garbage bin. NAUSEATING. The sillage is fine and actually quite pleasant, but I have to be careful not to get too close. Thankfully the awful smell fades after about 15 minutes but I absolutely will never be wearing this again. In total, the perfume lasted about 3 hours. Saw that this was compared to Ariana’s Thank U Next but I disagree. Thank U Next is a coconuttu vanilla.

This is very one-note to my nose, and it isn't good. It smells like cough syrup. It is a very, very sweet artificial "purple fruit" scent. Dark, syrupy, strong, headache inducing nearly-rotten fruit. If you like sickeningly sweet fruit scents, maybe this is for you?

I bought the mini set and this one was my least favorite perfume is just smells like straight up trident fruity bubble gum.

Sweet, non-specific fruity opening is nice, but gave me a headache. Tested 2nd time - immediate headache. No buy.

this does not smell like dragonfruit. actual dragonfruit has a delicate, lightly sweet scent. i agree that this smells like various dragonfruit-flavored things such as starbucks refreshers, but know that those dragonfruit-flavored things also do not recall actual dragonfruit! try the fruit if you can. it's super good for you, and it tastes almost like crunchy water. to me, this perfume smells like juicy grape flavor. it has the sharp, sweet ceiling that artificially grape-flavored things have and a juicy, fruity body.

I never smelled the 2020 release due to not being out and about sniffing things in 2020, but this smells almost exactly like the 2004-2005 era Black Raspberry Vanilla from B&BW that was a fall release, I wore it for years in certain weather and it took me back to that time from the first spray. I like it, and if you are nostalgic for that oldie, this is a solid dupe.

when i was younger i loved melting bags of haribo gummy bears together in the microwave to make one giant monster gummy. this scent smells exactly like what i would smell when i took them out of the microwave. super sweet and candy fruity like scent im obsessed. perfect for layering

If you want to smell like gushers fruit gummies then this is the fragrance for you! I think it’s really fun and could be the perfect thing for a fun day out. Don’t take it too seriously, it’s not here to feel sophisticated but you might just have fun smelling yummy and young!

This smells exactly like Haribo gummy bears. If you like that type of fruity scent (super sweet fruity candy/gummies), then you'll love this! I'm a gourmand/sweets lover, but this was a little too sweet even for my taste.

Bitter black currant, sweet fruit, faint light musk. Nothing I like. The bitter black currant tempers the sweetness but Ias this is mostly black currant, not my favorite note, this is therefore not my thing at all.

This does smell good. Very fruity. However its too strong for me and just not my style if you like fruity florals though and aren't sensitive to smells like me im sure you'll like it

almost a year late but no one is mentioning how sour this fragrance. I still like it but my least favorite thing about it is that it smells sour

smells exactly like dragon fruit flavored syrup and only that. It’s light and very sweet, so good for summer in my opinion.
