La Vie Positano

This ethereal beauty exceeded any expectations I could have had. When I say this is long lasting, this particular batch when sprayed, lasts on clothes until next wash. I can still clearly smell this when I move my arm or clothing after 8+ hours. How on Earth a $14 fragrance lasts longer than some $300+ fragrances I'll never know, but Le Monde did their thing here. It has decent sillage for the first 2 hours, arms length projection still after 4 hours, and the performance is linear, but I'm here for it. I would say this is closer to a your-skin-but-better, however it's just one of those fragrances that are uplifting, calming, and an easy reach for rainy days, brunch with the girls, and simply an all year round scent. The rating is completely justifiable. Highly recommend for those who want to smell good, but have a hard time figuring out what they should wear for the day. It's a love.

This is one of my most uniquest smells and it's in my top 5. Its ethereal, sweet in neither a fruit or gourmand way, its truly gorgeous. And the sea salt blends in so smoothly and effortlessly with the sugar cane and whatever the fuck that flower is. I highly recommend and it's one of the longer lasting scents from Le Monde Gourmand which says a lot because all though I love this house their scents aren't incredibly long lasting. Sadly you can't smell this in person but you can buy it on Amazon or TJ Maxx sometimes will carry them randomly in person. Lastly, my bottle is not a blue looking liquid it's more of a darker amber!

I don't get any of the comparisons below... It smells nothing like those. It is its own thing and it is lovely! I don't really think it's super sweet, just the right amount to lean feminine and VERY fresh and clean. This one is my favorite of the entire "Le Monde Gourmand" line (I think I have almost all of them) and I wouldn't consider it a gourmand at all. I wish I could find the big bottle because I only find these at discount stores like Marshalls (online) and they only have the tiny bottle. I plan on finding all that I can and stocking up because this one is over 10 yrs old and hard to find.

This is probably one of the most unique scents I’ve ever smelled. I’m not getting the sweet notes that others are mentioning but my friend blind bought it and said it was too sweet for her. I definitely experience it as fresh and aquatic, with hints of citrus and salt. I will also say it lasts FOREVER. I was seeing these at Marshall’s/TJ’s last summer and was buying them up. So glad I did because they’re now 2-3x the price on eBay and Mercari. I have a feeling it might’ve been limited edition, which is too bad.

This is so strong ! At first very fresh almost limey or pineapple coconut... Then it dries down to a creamy and sweet vanilla coconut! The blue color is a little misleading. Thought it was going to be a freshie...Pleasantly surprised by this little gem! Reminds me of a few coconut scents I own , but would really layer well with Tahiti island dream 🥝🥥🍋🟩

This is so beautiful. It’s the perfect blend of sugar, salt air without the heavy aquatic note and delicate cyclamen. It’s like taking a breath of air on the Italian coast. It’s so beautiful and well balanced. I bought a back up because it’s seasonal and I love it that much

This is such a beautiful and clean scent. Slightly sweet, a little salty or tropical vibes. I love it. It's unisex my husband wears it too and it smells so fresh and clean on him.

i feel like a freaking mermaid fairy princess when i wear this ! it’s super girly pretty and fluffy. it def feels like a sweet treat stand on the boardwalk ^_^

This makes you smell like a fairy. It’s airy and beautiful and fresh. Not really a gourmand nor floral. It’s a steal. Buy it if you see it.

Wow.. this is strong! One spray is done and done! Beautiful though, like a salty sea breeze past a cotton candy stand!

This is a fresh aquatic, with hints of citrus, even though it doesn't have any, probably the fresh floral cyclamen I'm smelling. An inoffensive, easy scent to throw on during those hot, humid days lasts a decent time on the skin.

I love how it's just a neutral sweet smell, with the slightest tinge of floral. This is great for layering! I reccommend for sharper, bitter, more resinous smells, to layer with and take the edge off.

It is very sweet but does not have much character aside from smelling like sugar. Smells good nonetheless, if you love sweet scents this would be perfect

The perfect sweet scent, this is what pink sugar thinks it is. I consider this to be a sister scent to Yara, off by just one note.

Subtly sweet, salty and fresh. True to the notes, but forgettable. Update: Turns a bit tart/sour in the dry-down, which I don't like. The base is similar to other fragrances from the line.

Something about this fragrance makes it so suffocatingly dusty-sweet to me. Almost in a chemical sense. Not sure if it's the cyclamen, considering that that note works perfectly fine with me from their other fragrances, but there's Something here that doesn't work with me. Not terribly heartbreaking, as it's very affordable and not all that interesting, but disappointing nonetheless.

Smells exactly like sol de Janeiro 62. I thought at first maybe it smelled like viva la juicy but no it smells like sol de Janeiro.

I wish I knew it was a limited edition, this is one beautiful scent. Definitely for a cool summer day.
