Pistachio Brûlée

On the open, it smells like a yummy cozy candle in the best way! Sweet, creamy, nutty, and a touch of spice. The pistachio does get a bit green in the middle like others note, but I don't find it offensive and that's speaking as someone who's not the biggest fan of green notes on my skin. On the dry down, I get a vanilla musk scent that's heavenly! The first time I tried it, it was very faint. On the second wear it still doesn't have huge sillage, but I can smell myself without putting my nose to my wrist this time. Update 8/7: the more I wear this the more I love this! Light & airy, soft & sweet, and very feminine. It makes me feel sensual and beautiful in an easy effortless way. Not femme fatale, but more like the girl next door that everyone wants. Definitely getting a full bottle! Update 8/18 So for some reason this one had huge sillage on me today and I got more of the greeness and musk than the sweetness. Still smells good, just interesting how the same scent shifts based on hormone fluctuations and weather.

The whipped mousse note really stands out to me right off the bad. It smells milky, warm, and creamy. I most definitely smell the pistachio all the way through the dry down to this beautiful creamy and warm gourmand. I'm a gourmand lover and this fits right into my collection, I believe this fragrance deserves more credit than it's been given. Not to say that I judge anyone about their reviews because that's genuinely how they feel and I respect that. I'm just trying to say that this perfume should have more hype! It's an inexpensive gourmand that smells lovely on the skin and clothes. Test this before buying.

I really like this perfume and think it is very good for how inexpensive it is! Smells like a very sweet pistachio drink. It is a bit powdery to my nose but I like it I think it makes it smell a bit more clean. It is definitely a very sweet scent and not so heavy on the nutty side. for the price I think the performance is good it lasts a few hours then you will have to re spray it but that’s what you expect at the price point. I think this perfume is light enough you could also wear or in the spring. I really like the perfume especially at this price point.

One of my favorites since forever! I absolutely love it. It's milky yet very refreshing, SEXY, and somewhat tropical, if that makes sense. I"m obsessed with Kayali Pistachio Gelato, if you are too, you will LOVE this. I like wearing that one at night. This one is much more of a CLEAN everyday, signature worthy perfume. I layer with Brazilian Crush 62 & Lait de Coco (chefs kiss). Perfect for the beach, river walks, Disney, brunch, picnics, etc. Pairs well with tanning lotion. Great from day to night. BISOUS

This is very similar to the Kayali Pistachio Gelato, Sol de Janiero Cheriosa 62, and Pistachio Please from Finer'y! Very sweet but also nutty and a bit of a lactonic smell to it. This is a fragrance you can wear on a date and be sexy but it's also very sweet and light enough to wear just going to do errands. None of the Le Monde Gourmand fragrances (that I've tried so far) last long but they generally smell pretty good. I layer it with SDJ 62's body wash, lotion, body oil, and spray lol

Reminiscent of Tendre Madeline without the lime. Also reminds me of initial spray of Cacharel Amor Amor in a Flash before it morphs. Cinnamony and sweet, like spices you'd use to make mulled cider, but softened. I love this one around thanksgiving and Christmas.

This is nutty, creamy and sweet. My only complaint is that it’s not strong enough. The body and hair mist is slightly slightly stronger than the perfume mist. Really soft and feminine

Pistachio Brulee needs something more substantial. Tache de Cafe needs something sweeter. So I layer them together and 🥰 they’re amazing!

Smells like a lovely pistachio ice cream! Sadly my travel size broke in my purse, but now my purse will forever smell wonderful.

Nothin crazy, good price and great layered with a rose

This brand isn’t bad I have bought 4 fragrances from them but I don’t think I’ll be buying anymore, not because they’re bad but just because there’s better “cheap” perfumes for less. This fragrance does have a nutty opening then settles down in seconds it’s slightly powdery with a vanilla milky undertone it’s very light and has a very light ginger biscuit smell. I don’t get pistachio from this but it’s definitely gourmand. It will be a perfume that I will carry in my bag or just to wear when I can’t really choose what I want. If they were less money I’d probably buy more of them for daily use when I don’t want to use my expensive perfumes. They are pleasant wouldn’t go as far to say they are terrible and the worst thing on earth 😆

I really get a lot of just sweet vanilla cream with this, which personally I adore. I don’t pick up a ton of pistachios but on the dry down I get the faintest hint of nuttiness. I really love the way this smells but I do wish it lasted longer. I would say it lasted about 1.5hrs on my skin. I got the travel size from the discovery pack so I don’t mind bringing it a long to re-apply. Once this runs out I may not re-purchase just because of its longevity, it’s a inexpensive fragrance but I feel like I’ll go through it too fast because of all the reapplications I’ll have to do. If you just want to smell really nice for a short time, it’s great. Overall, I’m happy with it, but won’t buy again, I’ll still finish it out though.

Le Monde Gourmand’s Pistachio Brûlée is a fun and unique gourmand. Sweet, nutty, and milky, it conveys an air of gentle elegance. A vanilla note adds to the softness of the fragrance. It is both airy and cozy such that the coziness doesn’t feel deep and intoxicating in the way some gourmands can be. It’s a lighter cream scent that doesn’t wear your nose out compared to some rich chocolates and sugary vanillas. In my opinion, Pistachio Brûlée is a daytime winter fragrance that could work for late fall or early spring as well. It has enough sophistication for use for the workplace and low-key nights out in addition to leisure. It’s not my favorite, but I quite like it.

I'm a big fan of nuts, sugar, and vanilla so this one was supposed to be a winner. I'm already a fan of a similar milky sweet perfume in the same range (Lait de Coco) but it is not alcohol-based so sillage is almost non-existent, a true skin scent. (They may have reformulated) This one has more power but much less depth than its sister. It's a generic vanilla sugar, nice but too straight up sugary, too safe. There are quite a lot of winners and surprisingly quite daring scents in this very large Urban Outfitters Gourmand series but this is nothing special

Well it smells really good at first , it does smell like the Brazilian bum bum cream or spray for about 30 seconds and then morphs into a super lite vanilla whipped cream scent . I wish it was a better quality , the lasting power is almost nothing at all . I’ll try spraying my clothes or maybe they can just be hair perfumes ( since I night like 5 of them lol . The pistachio is there for a bit and it’s nice, almost seems more chai spice like than the actual chai spice . I would love it if it lasted and wasn’t so lite .

Nice light scent. I could barely smell it on me a few hours after spraying. I sprayed it on me at 5:30am and at 7:30am I walked by someone and they said "you smell so good", so I guess others could smell it. Some people compared this to Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush but I don't see the comparison. Yes they both have notes of pistachio and vanilla but Brazilian crush is very sweet with added caramel note. This is mildly sweet, light, and airy, it is light on the vanilla.

A lightly sweet milky and nutty scent. Nice, but super faint. It has next to no sillage and only lasts about an hour. In terms of perfumes listed as similar— ❌ BBE Vacation Vibe: more tropical, less creamy ❌ Kayali Vanilla Candy: has quite sharp florals, not nutty ❌ Lattafa Yara: not nutty at all, tropical fruity ❌ Le Monde Gourmand Lait de Coco: a light coconut milk scent ❌ SDJ ‘59: more floral ❌ SDJ ‘62 body mist: more tropical, less milky ❌ SDJ ‘62 EDP: much nuttier

I enjoy the simple sweetness of this fragrance. I got it as a sample first and then was gifted a larger bottle. I mix this with Lait De Coco for a sweeter coconut and pistachio cake type of scent, or with my Miim.Miic 52 for a sweeter strawberry milk with a bit of nuttiness cutting through. It doesn't last which is a shame because though it's a basic scent it really is a delicious gourmand. Can't justify repurchasing but I will be sad to run out of it.

I wanted to love this since I am such a lover of all things gourmand but there is something about it that just makes me like, not love this fragrance. Nice and mild. Great in my opinion for guys or ladies. Great price. The drydown phase is where I lose interest as all the nutty sweet goodness seems to wear away on my skin and it turns more generic and semi-sweet. Worth the try considering the price point.

This is a great find for its price. It does have a cheaper quality to it but not in a cloying or headache/nausea inducing way (though disclaimer: that’s very subjective), and there’s enough uniqueness to it that it brings the quality up even if the ingredients aren’t particularly expensive. It’s comfortable and pretty, and a lot of vanilla. There is no realistic pistachio scent in this.

At first it smelled great, but it didn’t last very long. It had been close to a year since I bought this, and it is now dark purple and lasts quite a bit longer. If you like Sol De Janeiro 62, you’ll like this. I wear them together often. This smells like a cleaner/powderier brighter version of 62. It has a slight sunscreen smell (in a good way). It is a perfect summer scent.

This is kind of a lighter, fluffier version of SDJ 62, more of a soft skin scent for those that don’t want to garner too much attention but like that DNA. Definitely not the best longevity but that’s not unexpected from this brand. I usually double up on my sprays and then reapply if I want. For the price needing to reapply isn’t a huge issue.

This amazing fragrance is made out of only vanilla, pistachio and milk mousse and wow this makes a gorgeous combination. The pistachio is balancing the sweetness of the mousse and the creaminess of the vanilla. The only disadvantage is that its longevity is super low, otherwise this would be a masterpiece.

She's cute. I'm not a massive gourmand girl but I am a lover of pistachios. I got this as a secret Santa gift. It's not one I grab a lot but I love to layer with it. It's not particularly strong. It's not the richest pistachio perfume you're gonna find but I think it's fine for the price.

Correct, this is basically the Cheirosa 62 cousin is a way prettier and more delicate bottle. I definitely think it's good for the price and a good stepping stone for trying pistachio fragrances. Simple, yummy and nutty yet I wish it performed a bit better.

This has to be one of the most beautiful pistachio perfume I’ve had so far. This is perfect to layer with any other pistachio perfume to add a bit more sweetness. I just wished the perfumes from this company would last longer than a hour lol.

smelled this in store, it's a very subtle pistachio but it's more green than sweet, despite the vanilla notes. probably would layer well with another pistachio scent. id probably pick up a bottle if i came across it again

Creamy, nutty, vanilla fragrance. When I first spray it is when I really get the pistachio note with the creaminess and vanilla following soon after, it's a nice fragrance, I think It's pretty good for the price.

REALLY sweet but the pistachio is still there. A little weird with my body chemistry, ends up very powdery and I smell like a literal baby? Not a bad scent by any means just funky. Sometimes gives me a headache

Very sweet, very soft. I think it might actually be safe for summer without going completely saccharine in the heat? Not a very nutty pistachio, it sits on a cloud of milky vanilla instead.

Not much pistachio, but a lot of sweet cream. Smells like a nice dessert you get at a dimly lit restaurant. Almost powdery, in a good way. It gets a bit nuttier on the dry down.

I get a creamy, light vanilla, hint of floral, and a burst of Dr Pepper. It smelled so much like soda, that I thought I grabbed their Le Soda Pop one by mistake.

I love this cheap nutty, sweet, casual perfume. It comes in a hair and body mist too. It's a not too cloying vanilla nutty scent. Perfect for summer or whenever.

Not to sound crazy but this smells like a rich ice cream shop?!?1 it's a very light pistachio & vanilla scent and Im not disappointed in it.

it does smell like cheirosa 62 but its a lot more soft and gentle. very pleasant scent but it sits close to the skin

This is a lovey pistachio scent but the scent is gone as soon as you spray it. A mouse fart has more sillage.

How disappointing. I REALLY had high hopes according to the notes listed. Notes- Vanilla pod, Pistachio, Milk Mouse (I had to look at the notes as I couldn't smell ANY of them). What I actually got- the faint scent of an alcoholic drink with slight nutty fragrance. Weaker than the Lait de Coco by UO, this lack luster "perfume" hasn't much to be desired. I don't know how Urban Outfitters can get away with calling this (or their whole collection) a "Gourmand" because this disappointment is anything but, along with the rest of their weak ass "perfumes". There's little to no fragrance, no sillage at all, and I keep huffin my wrist like a middle school boy trying to get high off glue. Just like with their Lait de Coco, a cheapo body spray would give more UMPH than this. Much like the sent of the perfume, all hopes vanished within 2.2 miliseconds. I keep burying my schnoz deep into my wrist in a desperate attempt to smell something sweet, nutty, ANYTHING, but alas the fragrance is Nie. But apparently, my boyfriend likes it which was a bitchslap to the face because I've spent the last YEAR trynna find something he likes, and OF COURSE the one thing I didn't care for, he enjoyes. FML. So, if you're looking for a fragrance that is like you sex life, mild and boring to you but enjoying to your man, this is a win <3

Am I the only one kinda disappointed by this one? In my opinion, this is more of a green, nutty pistachio rather than a creamy pistachio. Don't get me wrong the whipped cream and vanilla are there but I get a green pistachio nut more than anything else. There is definitely a sharpness to this fragrance though - I'm not sure if it's just the alcohol or what but it is tough the first minute. It's pretty much impossible to complain about a Le Monde Gourmand perfume considering the price. Would I repurchase this? Probably not. Will I finish the bottle happily? Yes ma'am! I think there are better pistachios on the market for sure. The longevity and sileage are about what you'd expect for a $25 perfume. LMG certainly has longer-lasting scents than this though. We are talking about less than an hour of longevity here. Rating: 4.5/10

I agree with @desertdweller. this one of the best cheap Pistachios you can get for a good value, is it the best? Not really.... This is one of the four scents I bought in a sample set from Marshalls, and I am still on the fence if I like this one or not. Comparing it to Lait De Coco since I do not have another light groumand, this is very strong in the alcohol department. At first I couldn't register it as alcohol because I was always trying to seek out the other notes in this, but know I understand. It's not milky, it's barely nutty, so all I am left with is sweet confusion. Sighing as I write this because I am failing to see why this was so hyped up. @Violinhead8120's review nails this experience in the first paragraph. You want a better pistachio sweet latonic perfume? Go get yourself a Demeter.

This is a sugary pistachio and lactonic vanilla. Within a few minutes, all notes diminish other than an inoffensive, generic, creamy vanilla. It is more complex than most gourmand body sprays, but less complex than higher end niche gourmands. I use this as a dumb reach when I'm going out and don't want to bother/offend with a more complex fragrance. One great thing is the affordable price point, as I can douse myself in this without feeling guilty. The cheap price is probably warranted, as it has absolutely no longevity.

Got this on sale for $15 at UO. Was disappointed because it’s not the fluffy, sweet gourmand I was expecting. I definitely get the milk mousse as there is a fluffy quality to it, and there is a nutty pistachio essence to it as well. It’s not very sweet though but if you have your expectations realistic it could be nice. I like Pistachio Ice Cream from Demeter way more - this was more like what I was expecting. Doesn’t last on the skin, maybe 1-2 hours at most

A very light, somewhat airy and fleeting pistachio and almondy aroma. It's very creamy, yes...but whispy and barely there. I agree with others who are saying body sprays outdo this, because they truly do. This has the outline of a full fragrance, but it isn't filled in and it feels incomplete. It needs more nutty qualities, a richer base, and maybe some salt or something savory to round it off.

@Violinhead8120 nailed it. This line is so boring - it’s like those toy makeup palettes you buy for little kids to muck around in for fun but in perfume form. Pistachio Brûlée is yet another yawn inducing juice from LMG. Faint, nondescript vanilla, chemically. Just buy Cheriosa ‘62 and stop wasting your time here.

Oh, I remember this. I'd walk in just to spray it and check their lingerie section. they have really nice undies. Never thought of buying the perfume but I believe I gifted someone the hand cream. Yea, it's a nice cookie cutter type of scent.

This is a nice scent (although, as others have said, I pick up no pistachio whatsoever). While it is a pleasantly sweet scent, as an EDP it is disappointingly faint &, therefore, not really worth purchasing in my humble opinion.

i liked this when i first got it but as it aged (mine is 3 years old), it started to smell more like sunscreen ?? not my favorite pistachio perfume, have an off brand one from tj maxx that smells better and lasts longer.

I didn’t immediately like this. It started off sharply sweet—a green freshness kind of sharp that usually gives me a headache. That was thankfully short lived on me and dried to mostly milky vanilla.
