Rose Chocolat

this smell is SO nostalgic. dear fellow 90s kids: was there a common product that smells exactly like this?? because not only did i have an immediate 'i havent thought of this smell since i was 13, i must take it home with me' reaction to this, but so did my partner, whose interests in scents is extremely casual and who is not usually one for a strong immediate positive reaction like i am. honestly, it pings my memories of a shimmer body lotion i had in middle school from ross that was American Idol branded and came in a tall narrow bottle with a purple label... so i can see why people would be disappointed by the vapid cute body lotion smell experience if that's not what you anticipated from the name or notes list, but it kind of seems like that's the ballpark you're playing on with a lot of le monde gourmand scents. i don't typically gravitate towards this type of thing either, but rose chocolat Specifically is a winner for me. immediately calming, warm, and approachable. a smell for fluffy sweaters and sleepovers.

Cute and complex name for a perfume, but it doesn't smell smell like roses or even chocolate. To be a perfume and be named Rose Chocolat is no doubt giving a Valentine's Day vibe. I could see it being a gift given on Valentine's Day or even a cute sweetheart scent for a date. The name plus the scent brings to mind a milky bath with rose petals... or even pink rose petals and strawberries lightly dusted with sugar with a side of chocolate. Light Pink is symbolic of friendship, soft tender love, gentleness, and kindness. It also represents youthfulness and innocence as well. The milky pink perfume is reminiscent of strawberry milk. It brings to mind soft pink roses and even suggests the idea of pink berries too! A great way of communicating the Pink Musk note. It smells light-hearted too. You are worthy of the roses and chocolate, but it's also important to realize you are enough just as you are. This perfume sends the message to embrace your unique self and smell cute while doing it.

This is such a girly feel-pretty scent. It smells like the color pink and the opening spritz is soo addictive. It does remind me of YBM but I prefer this because evn though it smells more girly it also gives clean girl. It's not fruity but still fresh in a way. You can also smell coconut cream in the background, which I'm not the biggest fan of but once it settles you can barely smell the coconut in the drydown and you're just left with this girly scent. I know girly is not very descriptive but once you smell it you'll know that's the best way to describe it. When I put this on I feel soo pretty and put together. I don't really get any rose nor chocolate, It just just a very creamy, soft girly fragrance.

This scent is so pretty, and doesn't smell artificial to me because it blends so nicely with my skin chemistry. It reminds me of a mug of white chocolate hot cocoa, luxury lotion, and ballerina tutus. It's not too strong, but enough to be noticeable without suffocating you. On my skin, it smells so soft and feminine, the notes milky and sweet with a touch of fresh roses. I think the sandalwood mellows out the sweetness of the perfume on my skin, making it more creamy and soft than cloying. This perfume is perfect for winter and colder weather!

According to Le Monde Gourmand's site, this perfume's top notes are Coconut Water & Chai Latte. The middle notes include Cacao Blossom, Cinnamon Bark, Ginger Extract, & Caramel. Lastly, the base notes are Pink Musk & Creamy Sandalwood. Something about this fragrance reminds me of Valentines Day, but I can't explain why. On my skin, it smells milky, very chocolaty, sweet but not overly so, musky, with a tiny hint of florals. A very beautiful scent that is wearable in any season, but I wish it lasted longer.

A lactonic perfume with subtle hints of cocoa blossom. The name was a little misleading with the lack of chocolate notes, but it was a pleasent surprise of something reminiscent of white chocolate. The rose is in there somewhere, but it is not a cloying floral; instead, it is like the smallest hint of sweet rosewater. It unfortunately does not have a strong sillage, but overall it is a comfortable, feminine, and somewhat sophisticated perfume.

Rose Chocolat is one of my favorite scents from Le Monde Gourmand! I literally can't even describe this type of sweetness because yes it's a gourmand but there's something in this bottle that light and soft. After a shower and layering with lotion this perfume can last! obviously every scent lasts and smells different on everyone but that's how I noticed it will stay on me! You can smell it at Urban Outfitters!

She is beautiful. Very light, feminine, and lactonic. It reminds me of a sweet drink or dessert. I would say it lasts for a decent amount of time while sticking closely to the skin. However, it doesn't blend with the skin, more just makes you smell like a treat to those who go in for a hug. For the price, it is a spectacular perfume. My favorite part might just be the pink hue to the liquid.

wowwwwww!!! i sprayed this on my sleeve and honestly cant stop smelling it! it isn't exactlyyyy what i expected, like there aren't clear rose and chocolate notes, more of a blend of the two. it's very soft and feminine, a gentle sweetness to it. it makes me think of light pink clouds and pearls kind of. love love loveeeeee

This is one of my faves, I feel its underrated. Its a light powdery floral with actual hints of chocolate. It is however, much weaker than I want it to be. The sillage is good but it has almost no longevity. If anyone has a recommendation of something similar to this thats stronger please let me know lol

delightfully lotion-like; it very vaguely smells like chocolate and coconut and cream. its soft, sweet, not noticeably gourmand. one of the few fragrances that truly, genuinely smell like you put no effort into smelling good. for the price i will gladly overlook the longevity.

This is not my usual type of perfume in terms of notes. I usually hate coconut in perfume but i cannot stop wearing this. It’s delicious, it’s not overly cloying, and I’ve had people telling me how beautiful I smell nonstop.

my most complimented scent by far; i am constantly forced to reveal it's a $20 scent from urban outfitters. but it is such a crowd pleaser - gourmand without being sickeningly sweet, delicately floral without being screechy

smells like the rose milk tea from prince tea house and vaguely of white chocolate. pairs rly well with carolina herrera good girl blush elixr if u like a sexier gourmand.

The best way I can describe this is the soft aftertaste of a glass of Bailey’s. Absolutely obsessed I have nothing like this in my collection!

sweet, milky feminine fragrance!

Update: Looks like they corrected the notes. Good job! Moving on. I don't expect extrait level of longevity from Le Monde Gourmand for $28. What I expect are beautiful scents that make me smile, and this does exactly that. I have 8 of their fragrances, this and Bisous de Fleur are my favorites. There is something romantic about it. Something feminine and sweet in the girlish way. It reminds me of Baroque paintings in a quiet museum, evoking the likeness of Jean-Honore Fragonard's The Swing. It's not ROSE and chocolate. It's a rosey chocolate. It's the cacao blossom that's the star. It's so unique among my other fragrances. I feel as though I need to be wearing a soft pink lipstick and pearls when I wear this. Yes, of course I wished it lasted longer than 4 hours, but will I buy it again? Perhaps.

Just picked up this soft little number as my next layering fragrance the next year. I’m addicted to the opening note, resembling a lightly scented rose. Overtime it softens into a musk, perfect for layering with just about any fragrance. At the end of the day Rose Chocolat is a softer, more rounded version of Crème Vanille, doesn’t give me a headache and comes in a cute pink tint. I’ll be layering this with my more floral fragrances into the colder seasons. A good buy for my girls collecting pink fragrances.

Yummy white-chocolate perfume. Primarily smells sweet and floral, then creamy. Doesn't have the foot odor smell of photorealistic chocolate nor anything green like real roses; it leans artificial, but is balanced by being light. Strong, cheap perfumes give me headaches, but this one is comfy and low-key. It doesn't seem to last very long or have much range (I had to reapply a few times during the day), and I don't think it's very unique, but it's performance isn't the worst and it's cute at a good price.

I bought this fragrance solely for the pink strawberry milk liquid. Also, I am high-key obsessed with chocolate in perfumes. That being said, this is a white chocolate, I think there is a fruity berry note people are def missing. Maybe a raspberry? Anyway, it's light, sweet, appropriately lactonic and very coquette girl aesthetic, which I am positive it is going for. Rose Chocolat is a good spring day gourmand, and the sillage isn't horrible for this very affordable price point.
