21 Velvet Ganache

99% a chocolate scent, like a deep dark chocolate brown that is crunchy around the edges. Really yummy! But perhaps too edible for my tastes. I wish the cherry were more noticeable.

This is absolutely stunning. Think German chocolate cake....

Not my favorite. I do get chocolate right of the bat, but it does fade into a nice vanilla. But not worth the purchase to me. I have to many other nice vanillas.

I've been looking for a chocolate scent, and a lot of the ones on the market smell like swiss miss/nestle hot chocolate powder (chocolate greedy, etc.). Luckily, this isn't as sickeningly sweet and isn't lacking sophistication for the price point, like some other high end chocolate-forward scents. It's definitely sweet and gourmand, maybe a little too sweet for me. Also, on initial spray it smells just like hershey's chocolate sundae sauce, which made me a bit worried but it becomes much less overwhelming as it settles. It dries down to smell like a cognac cherry chocolate (konyakmeggy), and maybe this is why people aren't detecting "cherry"--it's not a syntheticy red cherry, but the black cherry is very strong if you are familiar with that type of cherry. Overall, I expected it to be a little less sweet and deeper (I thought the patchouli and cedar might make it richer and less sugary-sweet), and stay away if you don't like gourmands or boozy scents. But major plus if this seems your vibe is that even 1 spray has good sillage and lasted a long time.

Amaretto soaked chocolate cake holy shitz! It smells absolutely decadent and edible. I dont get much fruit, maybe a teeny raspberry, no woody nuances, mostly just chocolate and some marshmallow. I’m not a gourmand girly so not sure it suits me but if you want to smell like a TREAT this is beautifully done. It mostly just makes me miss my mom’s box made chocolate birthday cake with chocolate icing and sprinkles 🥹 The ambery notes shine more on skin as it dries down.
