Orris 22

I really love iris/orris perfumes because of the buttery-powder quality to them, so when I read the notes and reviews of Ledda Orris 22, I bought it smell-un-smelled and sight-unseen. I've never watched the YouTuber who created this either, so this perfume was truly a novel experience for me. Upon first spray on my wrists, instant juicy pear, and then the dusty pepper smell coats the fruit. The freesia is very subtle. I think it is meant to showcase and empower that sparkly pear within the pepper and brings it forward. after a few moments, the marshmallow holds everything in fluffy suspension. Personally, I would love this better if the pink pepper and moss were toned down and the orris and marshmallow were cranked up. That subtle sweetness everyone is talking about does *not* come from the marshmallow; I'm almost positive that it's coming from the lilly-of-the-valley mixed with the freesia top notes. The orris is what gives this that creamy-buttery note, and the marshmallow makes it ethreal. I actually love this, but I can see why some have compared it to Glossier You... which I like, but Glossier You has too much dusty pepper that overpowers its more delicate notes into oblivion. It's that darned pink pepper mixed with that hint of moss that makes the first few moments of Orris 22 a bit dusty... Now, about 20 minutes later, the dust clears completely and it is uplifting and grounding at the same time... like a sparkling pear-Champagne baked in a marshmallow soft-musk cloud. It is as they say; I, too, havent quite smelled this before... but I like it.

It's understandable why the "reminds me of..." section is such a mess, because this does indeed have flashes of other perfumes in it but is nowhere near being similar to any of them! The musc in here is ALMOST masculine-leaning, not quite, but it does have whispers of Father Figure to it, you could perceive something fig-like if you squint. It's also somewhat like You: Orris 22 has that similar stripped back, effortlessly chic vibe with a prominent iris note tying it together, but this is sweet and a touch powdery, whereas You is iris + woods. It also shares some similarities with God is a Woman/Sweet (they're virtually identical imo), but the pear note here is very subtle so it doesn't read as fruity, and it lacks the aquatic freshness the other two have. To talk of Orris 22 itself: primarily I get the iris and marshmallow, with a wee bit of pear, musk and sandalwood in the background. I don't get much of the white florals at all which I'm very pleased about! (I'm not a fan of white florals unless it's orange blossom, neroli or magnolia.) I'm going to be very frank here--this smells FAR more expensive than it actually is. I really don't say that often. I'm shocked this is only £77/50ml; the aesthetic of their bottles + the quality of this scent made me assume this would be priced similarly to Celine, Chanel, etc! Initially I passed up on sampling their other offerings but actually I'm curious to try them all now.

I wrote this off, initially. Because of the multitude of other iris/orris-focused fragrances I prefer. But I’ve walked that back. 22 Orris is a soft, cocooning, gently musky, easy-clean wear. So close to Glossier You Fleur, to my nose. Reminiscent of Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow - with added pear and orris. LOVE the pairing of orris and pear here. I’m pleased the orris isn’t overly rooty. It comes off as iris on me. And the pear is probably the best pear note I’ve smelled. This is a masterful composition. Jaw-dropping note perfection. A hint beachy. There’s a tobacco feel. I go anosmic to it within an hour or two - but got a compliment from my daughter at the 6-hour mark. And I can smell it on my jacket the next day. It’s really beautiful. Full bottle worthy, but because I’ve got travels of both Glossier You Fleur and Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow, I’d opt for a bottle of D’ORSAY Sur Tes Levres E.Q. over this one. ~

This is beautiful, and it gets even better with time. In my collection, it fills the space of a fruity floral gourmand that leans more toward peach tea fruity, with sweet, powdery marshmallow in the mid. If you’re someone who thinks 99% of peach fragrances smell synthetic to the point you immediately want to scrub them off, sample this one — you might find a winner. People who say this smells cheap are bonkers. This is a grown-up, sophisticated scent, yet feminine and playful in its delicate sweetness. It’s very well blended and, frankly, doesn’t smell like anything else on the market to my nose. I agree with the previous commenter — great bridal scent. It wears beautifully in all the seasons, and lasts about 6-7 hours with a more intimate wear towards the end. Not similar to Father Figure at all. You do need to like powdery, musky, delicate scents to enjoy this one.

Y’all this perfume made me log back in so I can leave a review. It is STUNNING For context, I use this site sooo much to look at all kinds of different perfumes and reviews, but I don’t really leave reviews myself. Well I’ve been looking for the perfect musk signature scent that wasn’t too peppery or sharp. For example I do really enjoy You by Glossier but it definitely is very strong on the pepper and pencil note shavings smell which isn’t bad but I definitely don’t think I’d wanna wear it all the time. I also really like Xtra Milk from DedCool but again sometimes that scent is almost too light. Now 22 Orris is that sweet spot in my opinion. It’s musky, but has an underlying sweetness that really makes the perfume for me. Wow if you have been wondering about this scent, don’t hesitate and give it a try!!

Omg this perfume, is pure elegance, so soft and buttery with this beautiful light effervesces, it’s very girly and pretty. This smells expensive, but longevity is poor, sometimes it last an hour but other times I get 3/4 hours, last few hours definitely being a skin scent. Weird caveat with this fragrance, if I spray it in the morning like after my shower 7/8 am, I can barely smell it, or it acts like a molecule fragrance, I just get pencil shavings. If I spray it from lunch time on I’m good. In the last 2 months I have bought about 30/40 samples and travel sizes and this is the only one I’ve wanted a full size of zero hesitation I think the scent is perfection and I’m happy to reapply. Longevity- 3/4 hours Projections- arms length Scent profile - 10/10 Purchase- Absolutely

22 Orris by Ledda is the perfume I have been searching for. Based on the description, I had a *feeling* and did a blind buy of the travel size. Within 5 minutes of unboxing, I had bought the full size. Sweet with wisps of pink pepper initially and then a warmth opens: powdery, creamy, soft. The musk and marshmallow sit close to my skin (which I love) and still somehow lightly radiate to create a nuanced, intimate scent cloud. It is beautifully layered and feminine. My only critique is that I wished it lasted longer on my skin (even though I’m happy to give another spritz throughout the day.) But it does linger on your clothes for days in a subtle, cozy way. My husband has been indifferent to almost every perfume I’ve tried on my signature scent journey, but not this one.

I couldn't help but use a few sprays last night before going to bed after arriving home from travelling. I fell asleep sniffing my sweatshirt, floating on an airy, musky, marshmallowy cloud. When I woke up this morning, I could still smell the heavenly trace on my sleeves. I was so excited to wear this to the office today, and while I was delighted by the smell, I was disappointed by the performance - by hour 2-3 I was reapplying. Maybe I'm not using enough sprays? I usually do one on each inner arm, one on the back of each leg, and one on the back of my neck. I can definitely understand the comparisons to Father Figure, but with 22 Orris being a bit more sweet and buttery. Despite the issues with longevity, this is going on my full bottle list.

This is pretty great. I received my blind bought travel size during a stint of Covid so I couldn’t smell it initially. My nose is returning, and wow! This is truly a “gourmusk” a category that appears to be on the rise. It’s fruity from the pear, sugary sweet from the marshmallow, but there’s enough orris and musk to keep it from being edibly gourmand. Dries down to a sweet, powdery clean warm hair / skin scent. I could still smell it on myself an hour later, 3 hrs later I have to get close to my arm. But I didn’t overspray. My husband says it’s not his favorite, but it’s a very sweet clean girl vibe. Extremely feminine in my opinion. The grown up girl version of all the ones we loved in highschool. (Class of 2007)

Recently blind bought 3 of the 4 scents and purchased the Orris body butter to go with. I have not tried the other two yet, but I am wildly impressed with this one. This is very signature scent worthy. The jasmine in this is not indolic but a very buttery note. It blends beautifully with the orris. I am getting some notes of Iris as well. I don’t detect any pepper which makes me happy because this scent is so easy. I was skeptical to get this one because of all of the “smells like” suggestions. I have/ had many of the scents that were suggested and I do not understand the comparisons. If anything, this reminds me of Lush’s Vaniliary. They have the same jasmine component.

I absolutely ADORE this one! It's so pillowy and cozy and slightly creamy. The scent comes through nice and strong on my skin and lasts a really nice amount of time. I enjoy wearing it to bed where it makes me feel like I'm wrapped in the softest blanket ever just out of the bath. It's nice to have such a versatile scent that's not too sweet but extremely nice in any situation. I feel like I will be wearing this all year long, but it really makes a nice daytime spring scent. Highly recommend! The body cream is also fantastic and the fragrance in that literally lasts all day on my skin!

This is in my top 5 fragrances I have discovered in 2025. A friend sent me a sample of this and I have to say I am obsessed. It is not often I buy full sized bottles anymore but this one I decided to get as every time I spray it I fall in love with it. Its suitable for all seasons and I can smell it for hours after spraying. I don't think it is blind buy safe for everyone as I think orris can be a divisive note for some but I adore it. In fact I have really enjoyed several fragrances with orris in this year. Can't wait for y new bottle to arrive!

This is very pretty! It's definitely in that clean girl scent category on the soft and powdery side. I do find it to be a bit fleeting on me but I've been wearing it during some very cold days so I wonder if it would translate better in Spring and Summer. I do get some resemblance to You but more so in the vibe rather than the actual notes. Again, very soft clean girl-esque. I recommend trying, but there are a lot of fragrances out there in this category so I wouldn't say you need it if you already have something similar that you love.

YASSSSS this is filling the role that Studied by Liis was holding down for so long until my bottle ran dry:,( It’s hard to say right now which one I like better- 22 Orris is a juicy, sweet blend of pear, soft florals with fresh dew drops, and a dollop of Cool Whip. Perfect for the office or literally whenever, wherever. The closest scent to this I can think of is Glossier You Fleur- it has a stonefruit + salt kind of thing going on tbh?? Longevity isn’t great, but isn’t bad either. Immediately made it to my full bottle wishlist:)

This does smell a lot like Father Figure initially but I much prefer Orris 22. Father Figure goes very “masculine cologne” on me and I’ve had to scrub it off every time I’ve tried it. Orris 22 stays pretty linear but is smoother and does eventually dry down to a sweet feminine skin scent. It smells expensive and classy but is well-priced. I also like that it’s a different vibe from the big white florals and gourmands that are everywhere today. Really enjoying my travel size (that comes in a cute little leatherette sleeve!)

Ledda 22 orris shines among my large collection of "skin scents", "clean girl scents", and "musky freshies". This is so long-lasting, and gets me endless compliments. I also have the shower gel, which is so luxurious, and the hand cream in this scent. I can see the similarity to Guilty as Fig, London 1983 (also LOVE), and Radiant nectar, but definitely not a 1:1 match. 22 orris is just unique enough to have its own presence without being over powering. Absolutely love this and will forever repurchase.

this scent is stupid good. it smells an awful lot like “Father Figure”, which is one of my all-time favorites, but this one has a gourmand twist to my nose... maybe I’m crazy, but it has an “Angel’s Share” quality to me. 10/10 fragrance! very confused by so many people saying this smells like "You" or "Sonic Flower"...they all have orris, sure, but they're not even slightly similar to my nose.

someone below said it smells like father figure with an 'angel's share' quality - YES. omg I thought I was crazy.... its amazing, I've used more of this than anything else in my collection in recent years (and I 'vegot some niche $$$$ in there). father figure's dry down didnt quite work for me, and angels share was a little much. BUT theres a middle ground in this one that is just chefs kiss.

This is 100% the love child of Sunfruit and Father Figure, leaning closer to Sunfruit to my nose, since it’s sweeter and fruitier than FF. This is easy to like, and I can see this being worn often in the Spring and Summer. Not sure of lonevity yet, but if it outlasts either of its parents, then it’s a win, since I love the smell of both Sunfruit and Father Figure, but neither last on me.

This fragrance is gorgeous. It’s currently one of my favorites of all time and I have a big collection. It does project because I’ve gotten several compliments and it only spray 2-3 times. I can’t compare it to anything. It certainly doesn’t smell like FF to me. I also love you fleur but I don’t think they are that similar. Anyway it’s gorgeous and expensive smelling.

Very pretty perfume. The best word to describe it is "buttery". It has a very buttery and creamy scent. Clean and warm. A little peppery and a little fruity, but, overall, a really bright, ethereal and buttery perfume. It is sweet without being sugary or gourmand, more like a cozy sweetness. It is quite subtle and doesn't last a lot, but I love wearing it at home.

I love it, I’ve heard reviewers comparing it to Ariana grande fragrances but I don’t agree, I see the similarities because of the sweet fluffiness but this is unique. It is so buttery and creamy while still being fresh and airy. This is a everyday, signature scent, all year long g type of fragrance.

I have to agree with Kaitlyn and Jen: this is Glossier You but buttery and creamy. I love orris, iris, and skin scents that are a bit on the lighter side and I’m absolutely in love with this. I think it’s aligned with Father Figure in terms of vibes but it’s definitely not a dupe of it at all.

Blind bought this baby and did not have high hopes but omg I'm seriously inlove. She came and showed out, I absolutely love her. This fragrance gives mature but sweet not synthetic at all. I could see me wearing this fragrance all of the time. 10/10.

I tested this a while ago and have since tested Father Figure. I almost purchased FF bc I didn’t want to pay $10 for Ledda shipping. I’m so glad I got over it, it’s so so good. I bought it for work but I can see this turning into my signature scent.

Love this fragrance. It is smooth, buttery, floral heaven. I haven't smelled anything quite like this even though I'm constantly trying new fragrances. Lasts a good amount of time. Could easily be a signature scent and is perfect in any weather.

Similar to Glossier You but but add some juicy pear. So good. Definitely signature scent worthy. Basically combine Glossier You with JHAG Pear Inc. Oh and It’s not at all similar to Sun Fruit by Ellis Brooklyn to me, I was not a fan of that one.

I love the scent of this perfume. Very airy, comforting and soft but it does not last at all. It’s a VERY intimate scent that I wish it projected more and lasted more than an hour even after dousing myself in it.

Love this perfume but always love orris/iris note. Powdery, yes but in such a sweet feminine way. I also love her 18 Vanilla as well. It is a spicy vanilla which is mostly how I like my vanilla scents.

Such an easy feminine everyday soft , fresh, a tiny bit floral. Reminds me of something I can’t put my finger on . But it just makes me feel clean and pretty ! Lol .

So glad this is finally on here. This is elegant from bottle to the scent. It’s not overly mature or dated. It’s still a bit playful while smelling like money IMO.

This, to my nose, is Ariana Grande's Thank U Next, but twice the price for half the product. Thank U Next is far more long lasting with much stronger sillage.

This makes me smell like I'm in a way higher tax bracket. This smells like I drive a car made THIS year.

Just a pretty, powdery citrus. Dries down to a sweet Musk. It's inoffensive and safe for a daily scent.

I love this fragrance! I am already on my second bottle. It is a comforting warm buttery orris.

I got the travel size of all 3 Ledda fragrances to try, and this one is by far my favorite! It’s so beautiful, really well blended, and inoffensive. It does smell familiar but I can’t quite place it. However I keep coming back to it! It will be the one I purchase a full size bottle of for sure! My one gripe though - it’s not very long lasting. I can be ok with the fact that it’s not a big projector (though I prefer people to smell me when I walk in a room or walk past them... that’s my personal preference) but it only lasts a handful of hours on my skin. Lasts longer on clothes. That may be my body chemistry? But I found the same to be true for the 14 Isla de Coco as well but faded even faster. So it may just be the way these are formulated. Either way, it’s LOVELY Update: this is by far the one I’ve worn the most of the current 3 Ledda fragrances. I still can’t quite place it, why it’s somewhat familiar to me, but it’s a really beautiful fragrance. I sprayed it when I wore a shirt and then a couple days later I was moving laundry and got a whiff of 22 Orris and was in heaven. I just still wish the fragrances from this brand lasted longer than a few hours!

Smells like Phlur Father Figure and Liis Studied had a baby. Given that I love both of those, I do really enjoy this fragrance. However, I think overall I prefer both FF and Studied over this one (with an overall preference for FF), and having all three in your collection could feel redundant. Much sweeter than both and lacking the beautiful watery quality of FF. Much more buttery than Studied but has a similar musky fruitiness. Pairs beautifully with other fluffy marshmallow fragrances to bring out that note (Ellis Brooklyn Marshmallows is my favorite to pair with it). I will say, it’s a huge compliment grabber. I initially thought this had really poor longevity, but I think I just must go a little nose blind to it because I’ve had people compliment me hours into my wear. Overall, this is a lovely anytime, anywhere musky fruity floral, slightly shampooy in character and reminiscent of some of my other favorite frags in my collection. Definitely an easy reach but I wasn’t as impressed by it as I expected to be given the reviews I’ve seen online. I’ll go through my bottle but probably won’t repurchase!

I'm still making up my mind...This opened up with sharp alcohol and almost no scent. But it developed very, very beautifully, into something a buttery, rather than powdery iris, well blended into musks and sandalwood. The freesia is there, trying to lift this up a little, but it's a kind of a silky, creamy and very feminine, classy scent. It's not listed but to me this smells a bit like caramel. I'm a fan of the more masculine leaning iris, or more lifted iris, so I'm not sure if this is for me, but I think it will be one of these scents that grows on you. Forgot to say that, as it develops, towards the second hour, it goes beast mode on me. Then it settles to a quiet skin scent. Forgot to say to that this smells very different in everyone and to everyone. In a friend of mine it was much more powdery than in me, and in my daughter is was very musky and virtually undetectable, whereas I only sprayed twice in my wrists and was projecting it for hours.

I’m judging it from memory, but to me it smells like a more feminine BR540 combined with a lighter 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods. It’s sweeter, and the flowers and pear stand out to me. I do a double take every time I catch a whiff of myself. The sandalwood gives it this warm and relaxing feeling when combined with all other notes. I’m not in love with it, but it might be because I’m getting over this scent profile. But I’ve tried this and 14 Isla Coco from Ledda. So far, she has beautiful fragrances, but I don’t find them wearable on my skin. They smell so good on paper, but on me the combination seems off? I wish they would smell on me like they do on paper. Despite it feeling cozy and having a warmth to it, It doesn’t jive with the cold weather...it feels too cold for Fall and Winter. Maybe for cooler spring days it would be nice. I would have to try this again.

Glad to be able to add this on to my fragrantica shelf! This is juicy and musky all at once. It has the slight fruitiness and juiciness from the pear leaf that actually smells like pear itself rather than the leaf. The musk and marshmallow really make this a fluffy dry down that makes it’s really cozy, however, I feel like this can be worn in all seasons. I don’t get a lot of the buttery orris, I think it’s so well blended that it’s difficult to detect but it does give it an ever so slight powderiness. This is not a huge projector, but will give you an intimate scent bubble similar to how many of the Clean Reserve frags do. That being said, I don’t find them similar aside from that. I’m glad to have picked this up and can see myself picking up another bottle.

Edit: The more I wear this, the more I just think it's a slightly better God is a Woman. I also think you can get the same vibe with Le Monde Gourmand Fleur De Blonde or Ellis Brooklyn Sweet. Original/Initial thoughts: This is Father Figure's girly sister. It's really nice. Smells much more feminine than Father Figure. It is more like Father Figure than Sun Fruit. Sun Fruit is bright and sharp, whereas this is very smooth and clean. I was surprised there is no coconut note here. If you removed the fig from father figure and inserted coconut milk. It evolves as you wear it to be slightly more fruity and the marshmallow note though faint becomes more detectable. I like it, but Father Figure and Sun Fruit both feel more special.

This smells almost identical to Rare, and Im surprised no one's mentioned it. It's very pretty, but if you have Rare you dont need both. Father Figure is one of my favorites and I can sort of see the resemblance people are talking about, but I personally think Father Figure is more balanced and nuanced. This opens slightly alcohol-y for the first few seconds, and it settles to a sweet fruity creamy scent. It would be an easy reach for all seasons and a safe blind buy if youre looking for a soft feminine scent.

Such a soft, feminine and cozy scent that can be worn all year round. I personally think Phlur copied this perfume because they smell the same and 22 Orris was released first. I gotta say they even perform the same. Gorgeous orris and iris with the musky marshmallow that sits close to the skin and does not project at all + the scent leaves your clothes and skin very fast. I have a full bottle and really love this scent, but wouldn't buy again due to this being too soft and weak.
