White Blood

A stellar addition to the house. I had the privilege of experiencing White Blood a few days ago at its Cannes Film Festival debut in partnership with TIME magazine, and it is nothing short of a contemporary masterpiece. The composition possesses an incredible, cinematic duality—the initial vibrant, avant-garde freshness perfectly sets the stage for a spectacular, freshly cut bright rose that lingers with remarkable substance. The complexity of the musk architecture is brilliant. It’s easily one of L’Entropiste’s most daring and intellectually beautiful creations to date. Absolute perfection for the global connoisseur.

I came across this fragrance at Cannes Festival and was genuinely surprised it's noticeably fresher than the rest of L'Entropiste's collection, yet it retains that signature elegance and refinement the house is known for. The artistic intention of translating light into scent is beautifully executed. A superb addition.

This is lovely, a fruity rose that avoids lychee and raspberry tropes. Need to sample properly to comment on longevity but really pretty so far.

Star fruit sour bubble bath lotus princess. Light and fresh

Sampled it, a very feminine tropical floral scent, not for me, yet works well on my partner. She loved it, but did not buy it.

Interesting name, although not fitting the fragrance imo. First seconds are incredibly green, then the tropical fruits show. It smells like a fresh tropical fruit sun lotion due to the creaminess of the white flower, which isn’t really my cup of tea. Quite generic. The dry down is the most intriguing part about this, as it dried down to a very creamy, freshly cut bright rose. Overall not a bad fragrance, not to my taste and definitely not the best L’Entropiste has to offer. Edit: upon talking to the ambassador I discovered that their name is basically a term for the sap that would flow inside a flower: pale, dense, living fluid that replaces the usual symbolic idea of ‘white’ with something organic and alive. Still, not something I would consider adding to my collection, despite the beautiful artistic vision being on par with their previous releases.

Had high hopes for this one but it’s unfortunately very mid. It doesn’t smell bad by any means but it’s just pretty generic to me until the dry down hits then it becomes very abstract and doesn’t flow well imo. In the opening it’s a super tropical, feminine scent with floral undertones. A little cloying but pleasant. Then the dry down comes and I smell a mix of vetiver, ambergris and lactonic like musk that makes me feel a little uneasy honestly. It’s subtle but I don’t like it. This is something I feel that would get annoying to wear after a little while and despite it’s generic opening, as the fragrance wears I find it a bit challenging.

Starts fresh and citrusy, then quickly turns into juicy carambola with just a hint of tartness from the carambola fruit. A smooth creaminess emerges in the heart, but only for a short time - it blends into a clean, familiar musk, the kind found in many modern musk-centered fragrances. Throughout the wear, White Blood maintains a watery freshness. In the drydown, it reminds me of a good, unisex-smelling hair shampoo. Overall, it's a pretty safe blind buy, but for me it's too generic and boring. The carambola note is simply too fleeting to justify more than a sample or two.

It smells like one of the tamer Serge Lutens white florals at first, but then I realise there's something underneath hooking me in... I think this might be an incredible ambergris scent in disguise.

tangy, ripe and almost jammy star fruit shampoo- the taste of sour green grapes dries down into a sweet musk on my skin i really like it
